As I walk towards my future victims it occurs to me that I not only have 10 stat points to allocate, but I also have 2 gacha tokens…whatever those are.

System, could you ever so kindly bring up my stat sheet again?

Also system, how the fuck does CC work exactly? I know you mentioned that my shit costs 80% more chakra to use, but then why does my stat say 10%? It's confusing.

The CC system works by having your control increase in increments of 20 every 10%. For example, right now you have 10% which means you spend 80% more. But at 50% you will spend the normal amount, and at 100% you spend 100% less.

That's stupid and needlessly complicated, just have the stat say I spend 80% more.

Jesus fuck thank you.

Also what the heck is the gacha system? I don't even know what that is.

The gacha system is a lottery of sorts. You always gain something, good or bad, and is slightly influenced by your luck. You use the gacha system by spending gacha tokens. Just mentally or vocally express your desire for the coin to be used and you will be notified about what you gained. If the gacha pulls an item it will be automatically put into your inventory for future use.

Do I at least know the odds of pulling something bad?

You have a 1 in 10 odds of pulling something bad, i.e something that will serve to either inhibit you or provide some sort of challenge to you. Like a trait or system restriction.

I like those odds. System, use a gacha tokens please.

Would you like to spend another gacha token?

I stopped on the road and just, stared, at the screen for a moment. Before I tilt my head back and let loose a loud roar of triumph.

This is fucking game changing. Before getting this I was a little worried about my place in this world, but now.. BUT NOW.. I had a chance to survive.

I mentally decline spending another token and continue to walk, albeit at a slightly slower pace so I can think. If I remember correctly there was a ninja in Naruto who had explosion release that incorporated it into his taijutsu. It's a shame they weren't explored more, it would have been cool to see more of his nin-taijutsu so I could have blatantly copied him. Oh well, I don't really see myself doing more than just punching and kicking with it at the moment, I don't really have much inspiration at the moment. I'm sure it'll come to me.

A bloodthirsty grin stretches across my face. Those bandits won't know what fucking hit them.

I was making my way down the road when I spotted them. 3 guys posted on the sides of the road leaning against the trees near the coast of the river I've been following. Each of them wearing some basic fur/leather armor combo that covered their bodies, 2 of them had axes that upon closer inspection seemed to be designed more for cutting through trees than bodies. Though the third, who I assumed was the leader based on his more refined posture, instead opted to use what seemed to be a tanto based on the sheath length.

I kept walking down the road towards them. The tanto wielder noticed me first and smirked. He, followed by the lackies, stepping into the road and just waited for me. I smirked slightly and observed all three of them.

Tai was a tall mother fucker, almost as tall as me but not quite. Bald with angry black eyes and, like me, was brim with muscle. But he wasn't lean like I was, he had the body structure of a muscle builder, like that kind of physique that was so muscly it was gross to look at.

By comparison Chiguro looked frail, almost deceptively so. He was short, barely 5'6 if my intuition was correct. With a full head of mossy green hair and piercing yellow eyes he struck as almost moderately attractive. And according to his stats he was the weak, but smart one with a decent chakra pool. The two must have been the smart but weak, and strong but dumb combo. A simple, but effective duo.

Daisuke, to my surprise, not an ugly motherfucker like most bandits. He was built like a swimmer and had a soft, but masculine face. Combined with his ocean blue eyes, short messy black hair, roguish smile, and a height of 5'9 he easily fit that teen girl dream boy.

Daisuke stopped walking but Tai and Chiguro continued until they were about 10 feet in front of him. I strolled to a stop a good 5-10 feet away from both. Well within hearing distance. With a snap of Daisukes fingers, Tai and Chiguro brandished their axes and took what appeared to be a very basic stance with their axes held in both hands at the ready. Daisuke himself just rested his hand on the grip of his tanto before speaking out.

"Hello traveler, you must be new around here cause' I never seen your face before. That's fine, you can pass here but ya gotta pay the to-"

Before they had any time to react I dashed towards tai and punched him square in the jaw.

A quick glance towards Daisuke showed that, while he was surprised for sure about my quick attack he had no outward worry. The fucker. I'll make sure to show him that I'm not to be underestimated.

Refocusing on the battle I had just enough time to dodge another swing by Chiguro and jump back to gain some distance, I had a good 270 CP left. Tai is as good as dead in two more hits so I need to focus on Chiguro first and then kill tai afterwards.

With plan in mind I pushed off the ground and quickly activated both Flurry of blows and Energy flow

I straightened up and dusted myself off and focused back on my opponents. Both Tai and Chiguro looked like they were one foot in the grave, each holding onto their axes desperately and shaking with both effort and pain. I second spared to look at Daisuke showed that he was unsheathing his sword. Not good, I gotta get rid of his lackies first before they can group up on me.

A devious thought struck me before I smirked. I started to gather as much Explosion release chakra as I could into both hands before I ran towards Tai and Chiguro.

Thanks to my monk class and Energy Flow skill, I already had an innate understanding of my chakra network and how to manipulate the flow of my chakra. Making jutsu that require any amount of handsigns are far too beyond my understanding of my chakra flow, but moving chakra to different parts of my body is something that I can easily do.

Daisuke tried shouting a warning to his allies but it was too late for them. Tai, tired and beaten black and blue could only watch hopelessly as I stopped in front of him with one fist reared back, before said first shot at him like a rocket smack dead in the chest.

The result was glorious.

My fist, brimming with my kekkei genkai, slammed into his chest. The pent up chakra reacted violently in an explosion so great that it blasted out of his back, blood and chunks of charred flesh and bone exploded like a shotgun blast, painting the area behind him in a gory coat of paint. Chiguro didn't even have time to react I whirled around and crashed my other fist into the side of his head. That head is now gone, exploded into oblivion with nothing but a shower of blood spraying from his now headless corpse.

As I stood straight and gazed at what I did, what I had done, I…. I felt..

Such euphoric bliss

I loved it. The adrenaline coursing through my body, the blast of dopamine my brain just got as a result of winning a fight. It was..intoxicating. I want- no, need more of this feeling. This absolute bliss, this pleasure. I need it, and I know who I need to kill to get more.

My eyes must have shown my bloodlust because when I gazed at Daisuke, he took a shaky step back in fear. His teeth grit with grim fury as he gazed at his two fallen allies, possibly even friends. His unsheathed sword held tightly in his hand, ready and aimed to strike me down where I stand.

"That was mistake friend, and the last one you will ever make. I was going to be nice and just take the usual toll but now I've decided you're going to die."

"By all means, come and try. It'll be all the sweeter when I do to you what I did to your two fucktoys here."

Daisuke took exception to that.

He ran at me with a furious scream with his sword at his side, swinging at me with a speed that surprised me. I managed to dodge some of the strikes but I got slashed down the arm pretty badly before I managed to clock him in the jaw so hard that he spun around. Giving me a moment of time to jump a fair distance behind me.

Excellent.

Just as I finished assigning my points Daisuke was once again on the move. Instead of dodging I opted to surprise him and rush him head on. Daisuke, not expecting me to get up close, swung preemptively at my side. I surprised both him and myself by leaning back so the blade passed over me, and before he had a chance to move I twisted my body with my full weight and Slammed an Explosion Punch to his gut, the resulting attack obliterated his torso and most of his upper body into nothingness. His legs fell to the ground as his upper body was blown sky high and landed in the water.

Alright time to find that extortion money.

I looked for about an hour or so before I finally stumbled upon their hidey hole of money. Literally, I stumbled into a hole dug into the ground with a crate of money in it by the riverbed, it was covered by a strung together stick cover that had mud covering it. It blended very well into the environment, I only found it on accident when I was walking along the bed to clear my frustration when I stepped on top of it, my weight being too much for the sticks to handle.

I'm now within seeing distance of Kane no mura with the crate in tow, and man was it fucking heavy. They must have been doing this for quite a bit if they managed to gather together this much money.'

Hm, maybe I should delve into fuinjutsu? Storage scrolls on the go would be nice…thoughts for later.

When I walked into town the sun was just beginning to set, I could see the villagers walking out of the entrance of the mine, all done for the day. As I marched through I could see the villagers eyes widening at me. I motioned for them to follow me as I strode towards the inn where Daichi resided.

I kicked the door open, startling Daichi who was at the front desk and causing him to loose his balance on his chair. Before he could fall down I was already there to catch him and help him stand up gently, crate now left on the counter. Once Daichi looked up at me his eyes brightened considerably before realization struck him as he looked back and forth between the crate and I.

"Kyodo-san..is that..?"

"If you're referring to all the stolen money those bandits took from you all then yeah, that's it. All of it and more."

Daichi's eyes teared up as the townsfolk cheered and surrounded me, praising and thanking me for getting their hard earned money back. I just grinned and basked in the praise, politely thanking them back and returning hugs and handshakes as they were given.

I was surprised to see that the people took back the money fairly, as in, they didn't lie or take more than what was taken from them. I was sure that one of them would have tried to take more but It seems like these people are honest to a fault. Good for them.

The night got better from there. Daichi treated everyone to free drinks for the day and everyone accepted happily. Good news was such a rarity around here that they used anything remotely positive as an excuse to cut loose. Not that I judge them. The townsfolk were fun, we played bar games and laughed at stupid jokes. All in all it was a fun time, and I'm almost sad that I had to leave. But there's no way a town this small could support another person at this point in time, maybe later I could come back and settle down here.

Thankfully when I informed everyone that I had to leave everyone took the news well, no one whined or complained, everyone wished me the best and even gave me some food for the road. Honestly, I was a little touched. They gave me food that they could have saved, should have saved. But I didn't leave until tomorrow morning so I decided to hunker down for the night in the room Daichi so generously gave me for free.

Sitting on my bed I gazed at my three gacha tokens. Thoughts drifted to my great pull from earlier today. Should I use them? I mean, whether I use them now or later shouldn't matter too much right? Right. System, use one gacha token please.

Satisfied with everything I decided to sleep.

I stood in front of the wooden gates of Kane no Mura waving to the townsfolk goodbye as I snacked on one of the apples a villager girl gave me. Everyone knew it wasn't a goodbye, it was a see you later. Because I told them I would come back here to see everyone, and I meant that. Call me sentimental, but I had gotten rather attached to this small place. I hadn't spent a long time here but everyone was just so charming it was hard not to like.

Daichi was even kind enough to let me keep the map he brought out on my first day, which I was extremely grateful for. The map didn't cover much honestly, but what it did cover was much of the surrounding area, which included Wave. Which I planned to make my next stop at, as it would be the first major indicator of where exactly I am in the timeline. If the bridge is there, great, if not, well then I'll have to do a little more digging about when exactly I am.

Hold on, what if I just ask?

Hey system, when in Naruto am i?

You are in the same time as the anime Naruto, when in Naruto is for you to find out

Sweet, that means it's main cast timeline

I should still make my way to wave, even though I don't believe I'll join a main village it couldn't hurt to meet some of the main cast if only briefly.

….aaaand possibly fuck with canon.

I mean, come on. Sure the future knowledge would be sorta useful but that's only really pertaining to Konoha, which I'm adamant about not joining because of all the shit that happens there. Outside of that, I don't actually know much, so why not just fuck around?

Who knows what could happen if I managed to convince Zabuza and Haku to leave Gato before they die, though that's assuming I even try. For all I know Zabuza would kill me before I could even suggest it. More thoughts for later.

It dawned on me that while I was walking I could be doing something productive. My Chakra Control was shit, so I should be working on improving that. What did Konoha do again…the leaf concentration exercise? Shouldn't be too hard.

I grabbed a leaf from a tree on the side of the path and pressed it on my forehead and directed my chakra to stick to the leaf. It took a couple of trial and errors but eventually my perseverance paid off as I was awarded with the skill Leaf Concentration Exercise

Leaf Concentration Exercise [1/20]: The most basic chakra control exercise from the hidden leaf village. 1% better CC. Completion of this skill allows access to Tree Climbing. Cost = 2 CP/Sec

I spent the better part of 2 hours walking, at a pretty slow pace, trying to master this skill. In the end I managed to bring it up to level 15. The skill is honestly not that difficult to do, mostly thanks to my class and Energy flow skill, it's just that my CP regen is absurdly slow. I should start investing points into WIS, if only so that my regen gets faster. But I'm proud, my new CC is now +65% Chakra spending, still a far cry from useful but that's so much better than +80%

Another thing I learned? Walking is BORING, at least alone. I should look into that.

But I wasn't bored anymore! Why? Well, the answer is right in front of me

It's a bridge

An incomplete bridge

An incomplete bridge that leads directly to Wave, and you know what that means?

Naruto and the rest of team 7 either haven't arrived at wave yet, or they have but obviously haven't fought Zabuza yet.

I need to be there I just have to.

Gato has so many bandits working for him that it would just be a shame if I didn't attend that party and…help myself.

I could already feel the impact my fists would make to those fuckers and I loved it.

First though, I got to get on Wave before I can start fantasizing the exact feeling of my fist caving through someone's skull. It takes a minute for me to find a rowboat, I don't know why it's there but it is and I won't question it. After gathering a bunch of leaves for the boat ride to the island.

As it turns out rowing a boat is sorta relaxing. I just kept rowing until my chakra refilled and then did the Leaf Concentration Exercise while rowing until I had mastered the skill. Honestly my class kinda lets me cheat in that regard. Mastering low level chakra abilities is a cake walk.

And I fucking love it

The actual village of wave is further into the island than where the coast is. I had to travel quite a bit but I did manage to find the village. I chilled for a bit on the outskirts of it, replenishing my chakra in case I needed it before I headed in.

Strange didn't even begin to describe my experience in wave right now.

Everywhere I went people avoided me like the plague, as soon as they saw me they would get this really scared look in their eyes and immediately go to hide. What's even more confusing was when I inevitably didn't give two shits and walked past them they sighed in relief. I didn't even do anything and they're scared of me? For what reason-

Well I'm a dumb fuck ain't I?

Here I am, a fairly muscular dude with a fairly attractive face and physique and here they are looking so much worse for where it's just so obvious

They're scared of my good looks

I mean, it's only inevitable that people would naturally get rather jealous over me, but to be scared? That's a new one. Well, we can't have that now can we. I'll win them over with my actions I'm sure. In fact…

I turn to the left and spot a man no older than 40 with who appear to be his wife and daughter, he's shielding them from me. It's obvious he's scared that I'll take them for myself, I mean how could he compete with me?

As I approach them the man grits his teeth in defeat, but his eyes burn with defiance

"Listen, you can take whatever you want just leave my wife and daughter alone."

I scoff "buddy it looks like you ain't got anything to take anyways, but I ain't here for your daughter nor your wife."

He looked confused, poor guy

"I'm here to ask you one little question and then I'll be out of your hair, you got that?"

He turned his head to his wife to whisper something before she nodded and took the girl inside with her and shut the door. The man squared his shoulders and stood opposite of me. By now we've gathered quite the audience with the surrounding villagers.

"..fine, what's your question."

I smirked "Tell me where the fuck is gato so I can rip his anus out and shove it down his throat so that at least it'll make sense when shit comes out his mouth."

The man, and the audience, stood slack jawed at my declare, and relieved too. Good, that's exactly what I wanted to achieve.

"You mean, you don't work for gato?"

I stood there baffled. Now where the fuck did they get that idea? I'm me. I would never stoop so low as to work with that fucker. I'll forgive this man this once, but that's it!

"Fuck no! I'd never work for that self pompous midget."

The man laughed in disbelief and…pity?

He shook his head "I don't know where he is but Tsunami might? She lives in the big house at the edge of town. Just follow this path and take the nearest right and you'll be there in a flash."

I nod to him and stalk off. The bystanders, having their fill, dispersed, gossiping.

It took 10 minutes to reach Tsunami's home. That guy wasn't kidding when he said it was the biggest house in wave. Whatever, I knocked on the door and waited patiently.

When the door opened I was pleasantly surprised. From what I remember Tsunami was never really that attractive, but here? She's a grade A milf. Long blue hair parted around her beautiful face perfectly, showing off her mysterious charcoal black eyes. Her pink short sleeved shirt did nothing to hide her very generous bust, it was a damn shame her long skirt hid her creamy legs from view, but it's more than enough to get the picture.

Her face went from pleasant to stalk white. Shakily she tried to close the door but I blocked it with one foot and forced myself in. She tried to say something as I stood in front of her but all that came out were these adorable squeaks of air. I guess my sex appeal must be too much for her.

"Mom, who's there?"

I tilted my head towards the stairs, where the voice was coming from. Tsunami had all but froze when she heard Inari's voice and trembled when she realized that he was coming down to see who it was.

"Inari stay awa-!"

It was too late, Inari rounded the corner and saw me, his eyes widened in fear before that fear turned to anger. He ran towards me and stood in front of his mom. Glaring at me all the while, it was adorable.

"Stay the heck away from my mom you dastard!"

I couldn't help it. Heck? Dastard?! I laughed pretty hard right then out loud

That laugh didn't last long as Inari, the little shit, kicked me hard in the shin

You have taken 1 dmg!

I rose my eyebrow at him, my smile gone.

Inari must have realized that because his anger quickly turned to terror again.

I leaned against the door, closing it accidently and that got them even more terrified somehow. I don't even understand why,

"I'm here for one thing, and one thing only."

Tsunami seemed to give up for some reason, silently nudging Inari behind her.

"I understand, just…let my son leave please. He doesn't need to see what's about to happen."

I tilted my head in confusion. It was just a question

"I mean, sure? I honestly don't mind if he stays though. It'll be quick."

She looked horrified and disgusted for some reason

"You sick, perverted psycho."

I frowned

"That's rather rude ya know? I just came to ask a question"

That seemed to take the wind out of her sails.

"a..question?"

I nodded my head slowly, like she was a child. She sighed in evident relief and collapsed on her knees. Inari was also confused. These people are weird.

"Yeah I wanted to know where that fuckhead Gato is so I can rip him a new asshole."

Inari's attitude immediately skyrocketed to little shit status as soon as he heard what I said.

He scoffed "Why even go there, you're just going to die"

I narrowed my eyes, "Who the fuck are you to say whether or not I die huh?"

I stalked towards him and leaned down so I was glaring at him at eye level.

"I'm gunna go kill that short stack and when I do I'm gunna bring his blown off head back and flaunt it like a sick twisted puppet in front of your face and laugh my sweet, sweet masculine defined ass off as I prove you wrong"

Inari was stunned into silence at my declaration. I leaned back to my proper height and turned back to Tsunami who seemed to just be getting back to the conversation.

"So you know where he is?"

Gato's place didn't look that impressive honestly

It was a big building sure, but it just didn't have any personality. It was a big, dark gray shipping building. That was it, no windows or anything. Not even graffiti…well I guess I can forgive that last one.

It was honestly ridiculously easy to get inside. Like, I just walked inside. No one even questioned why I was here. I wonder why. I just kept walking and walking until I reached what I presumed to be Gato's room and opened the door.

What greeted me was not Gato

No, because that would have been too easy

What greeted me instead was a bedridden Zabuza and a now very alert Haku beside him.
