Ron never thought he would have woken up that early on a Saturday, but his excitement hadn't let him sleep well all night long.

He slowly opened his eyes and yawned loud, leaning out to see the time on the watch he always put on his nightstand.

"8:00, good." He said to himself as she sat down and took a minute to convince himself that he was actually awake.

"Wow, and people dare to say Hogsmeade is a dream, clearly not for you." Harry's voice came to his ear as they both chuckled.

"Shut up. Did you get your permission from McGonagall?" Ron stood up and opened his trunk.

His little rat Scabbers ran out of it quickly and left the room, Ron sighed, "Useless rat." He whispered, then glanced at Harry, still waiting for his reply.

"No, she said only a parent or a guardian can. There is no way she could sign it." Harry sighed and looked at Ron, who was searching for something in his trunk.

"I just hope Hermione doesn't take me to the Shrieking Shack."

"What are you looking for?" Harry asked when he was Ron pulling out all of his stuff angrily.

"A jumper."

"And why do you keep it in your trunk?"

Ron smiled as he pulled out of the trunk a striped red and maroon jumper. It wasn't like the jumpers Mrs Weasley used to make him, with a big R on it. It was just a jumper, however, Ron seemed to like it a lot, "There it is! Yes!"

"Why would Hermione want to go to the Shrieking Shack?"

Ron raised an eyebrow, "Dunno, but she couldn't stop talking about it, yesterday. You really don't listen when she talks, do you?"

They both laughed as they started to dress up. Ron wore a pair of hand-me-down jeans and his favourite jumper, while Harry decided to stay in his school robes.

"Ron! Harry!"

They had just gone downstairs when they met Hermione, fully awake and dressed up, ready to go.

Harry smiled at her, Ron stared at her for some minutes before saying a quick "Hi."

"Harry, did you get your permission?" She asked as they made their way out of the school and Harry shook his head.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" She gave him a sad look and he shrugged.

"It's fine. Have fun you two, I'll see you later!"

Ron and Hermione watched as Harry went to the Castle again and they both sighed, looking sadly at each other.

"Come on, let's go. I'm pretty sure next time Harry will come too." He said, starting to walk along with other students and Hermione followed him.

They walked for a bit in silence, but when they walked in High Street they both let out a gasp.

Hermione shook Ron's arm, "Look! There are so many shops, Ron!"

He watched as her enthusiasm made its way up to her face and made her smile, he couldn't help but smile back at her, "Yeah! Where do you want to start?"

"Can we go to Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop?" She asked, giving him an imploring look, "Please?"

"We promised this day we would have fun and you promised you wouldn't think about school or anything relate to it." He raised an eyebrow.

She put her hands together and gave him an almost puppy face, "I know! I just need a pill!"

He sighed, "Fine."

She smiled and started to walk into the shop, followed by Ron, "Hello? Is anybody here?"

Scrivenshaft -the owner- came out of a door and smiled at them, "Morning, may I help you?"

They walked out after some minutes, Hermione smiling like a baby, "It looks nice, doesn't it?" She asked Ron.

He nodded, not really in the mood for talking about how nice her new quill looked, "Yeah. Where do we go next?"

"Where do you want to go?"

He watched her as she smiled at him and pointed at a shop, "That looks cool, and there are a bunch of people from school. What do you think?"

He followed her finger with his eyes and smiled at the view: Zongo's Joke Shop.

"Fred and George told me a lot about this shop, it's one of the best in Hogsmeade. But I suppose you already knew that."

She shook her head, "Actually, I didn't. But thank you for telling me."

They walked in and Ron quickly went over to check the Dungbombs. His brothers always used them to prank him and he always wondered where did they get them.

"What is this?"

He turned to look at Hermione, who was next to him. Clearly, that shop wasn't her favourite, but he smiled as he watched her getting confused about products.

"It's Belch Powder." Ron took one from Hermione's hands. His fingers brushed against hers, causing both of them to blush and look down.

Ron coughed, "If you eat it, you'll burp loudly. Want to try?"

She shook her head as they both giggled, "No! That's disgusting!"

He nodded, "I guess it is, a bit."

He really wanted to bring him something to Harry, so he put back down everything he had taken and walked out, followed by Hermione.

"Why didn't you take anything? You seemed to really like the Hiccough Sweets." Hermione asked but he shrugged.

"I want to buy something for Harry."

"I have some money if you need-"

He stopped her, his ears slowly turning red, "It's okay, Hermione. Are you in the mood for a Butterbeer?"

She nodded and they made their way to The Three Broomsticks. The inn was full of students, of course, and Hermione and Ron spent the first five minutes finding a table.

They ended up at the very end of the inn, in a corner, but they didn't mind at all.

"It's nice here," Ron spoke after looking around him and Hermione nodded.

"Yeah, I'm having a great time."

They looked at each other and smiled, "Me too." Ron mumbled, making her blush a little.

Madama Rosmerta, the owner, walked over to them and smiled, "Hi! What can I bring you?"

"Two butterbeer, please," Ron said, smiling, while he switched his eyes from her face to her toes.

Well, she was a woman, a pretty good woman.

Hermione raised an eyebrow when the woman left them and he looked at her, "What?"

"You have a crush on Madama Rosmerta!" She giggled as he shook his head.

"W-What? I don't, she just impressed me."

"Impressed you? What is that supposed to mean?"

Madama Rosmerta approached them again with two butterbeers in her hands, she placed them on the table and smiled. "It's four sickles."

Hermione put her hands in her pocket to find her money but Ron was faster, as he gave the woman the money and watched her walk away.

"Ron! You didn't have to!" She said, trying to hide the little smile that was forming on her face, "I'll buy you something in return."

"No, don't, seriously. It's okay."

They drank most of their drink silently and smiling at each other at some point.

"This is really good, isn't it?" She said, after drinking a little more.

He laughed as he looked up at her face, "You have a little bit of…"

She put her finger over her lip and rub it, then looked at him.

"Nope, still there. Let me help you." He leaned over to her and stretched out his arm, his fingers slowly touching her lips. He caressed it softly, the intent of kissing it was burning inside him.

She blushed like never, feeling her whole face on fire. She felt his soft touch and almost gasped. She felt suddenly cold when he pulled away fast.

"Sorry," He coughed, "W-W-What should we do next?"

She shook her head and tried to pay attention to what he was saying, "Er, we could go to the Honeydukes Sweetshop."

"Yeah, sure. I have to bring Harry something. I still have some sickles." Ron said, finishing his butterbeer.

They walked out and smiled at each other, they knew they would never forget this stop.

"Hermione." He called as they were on their way to the Honeydukes Sweetshop, "Can I ask you something?"

Hermione nodded, giving him a sweet smile.

"How many classes are you taking?"

She rolled her eyes, "Ron, we've already talked about this."

"I'm just worried about you, that's all!" He sighed as he realized she wasn't even listening to him.

"Look, we are here! There are Neville, Dean, Parvati, Lavender, Cedric… wow! How many people!"

They walked in and inhaled the smell of sweets, Ron smiled. "I know what I can get Harry! Pumpkin Pasties!"

He walked over the product and took two of them, Hermione smiling as she watched him go to pay for them.

She looked around, wondering what she could get him, then her eyes fell on the Chocolate Frogs. She smiled as she remembered first-year Ron and his collection of cards that came in the pack with the sweet.

"Hey, what are you doing?" He got really close to her and whispered into her ear since the shop was too loud and filled with people.

She looked confused because of the loud noise but couldn't deny her heart skipped a beat when he slowly approached her more and more, "I took something, I'm going to pay. Wait here."

She came back after some minutes and saw Ron taking her to Neville, she walked over to them and smiled, "Hi, Neville!"

"Hey, Hermione. Ron was just telling him you had a good time at The Three Broomsticks, lucky you. I went in but there weren't any tables for me and Dean so we left. Maybe next time." Neville shrugged and smiled at them, then vanished into the crowd.

Hermione glanced at Ron, she was happy to know he thought they had a great time, because she was thinking exactly the same thing.

"We should probably go back."

"Yeah, I bought lots of things anyway."

He looked down and saw her holding a bunch of packages, "Wow."

"Let's try everything out on our way back to the Castle." She smiled at him as they walked out of the shop.

"Okay, let's see what I have: Pepper Imps, Toothflossing Stringmints, Drooble's Best Blowing Gums, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and… Oh, I almost forgot! I've got something for you!"

He raised an eyebrow, "For me?"

She gave him three packs of Chocolate Frogs and watched him as he smiled, turning bright red, "For you."

"Hermione, thank you! You didn't have to…"

She shook her head, "But I wanted to."

They smiled at each other.
