2It was just another day at the pokemon school. All of ashs friends were there, and class was just dismissed.
"Bye, everyyone" ash said.
"Bye!" The other kids said in unison.
And so ash went home to his house.
"Alola!" Ash said.
"Alola", ash" burnet replied. "Hiw was your day!
"Good! We learned about abilities! I wonder what ability you have, buddy" ash said, looking at the mouse in his sholders.
"Pika!" Pikachu replied.
"Well that sounds fun! Here, I have this scanner that will tell you what ability pikachu has, as well as more info about that exact pikachu"
"Bzzzt- give it to me!" Rotom asked.
"Well, ok…?" Burnet replied. "But your gonna have to leave the pokedex temporarily-"
"W-What!" Rotom said. "But last time I left the dex, I got trapped in a washing machine!"
At that point kukui came over.
"No worries, I'll just return you temporarily."
And so rotom left the pokedex, and started dsrting around, buzzing.
Kukui quickly returned the zappy ghost, and burnet started attaching a small lend to the camera kn the back of the pokedex.
"This will take me a bit of time…" burnet said. "Whyd ont you go on a walk, and find some cool items?
"Oh yeah, that reminds me,Professor Kukui assigned us to find some cool objects around, and show them to class! Come on, Pikschu!"
But pikachu jumped onto burnett's shoulder instead.
"I need pikachu to stay behind to help charge Rotom once he enters the dex." Burnett said.
Ash sent out lycanroc instead.
"Maybe you can help us dig for treasure!" Ash said.
And so ash walked with the special form canine pokemon to the beach outside the house.
The sun was bright. The waves were licking the beach, and ash and Lycanroc were walking down the beach.
"Alright! Let's start digging…" ash said.
"Dig there first!" Ash said, pointing at a shell on the ground.
Lycanrock dug it down, revealing a pretty big shell.
"Awesome, a big shell! I'll make sure to ask Rotom what it is later…"
Then they came to a black rock, which turned out to be a peace of obsidian.
Then, lycaneoc dug up a gold nugget, then a red shard of sourts, and they kept digging until the sky turned pink.
It was quite a while later at this point, and ash was ready to go back.
"Alright, let's go home, we've been out too long, and I'm sure Burnet is done upgrading rotom!" Ash said, before putting his backpack that held all the items he found, about 31 or so shells, stones, rocks, evolution stones, revives, shards, and even some healing items, all inside his backpack, as well as a green owl pokemon called rowlett. That was fast asleep.
But lycanroc ran towards a shiny spot in the ground.
"come on!" Ash said, before noticing that lycanroc had found something.
"Huh, did you find something?" Ash asked.
.lycanroc dug up a yellow-green stone of sorts.
"Another rock, oh well.." ash sighed, before him and lycanroc returned home.
At home, rotom was repaired, and was ready to scan the items.
Rowlett had woken up, while torracat was napping on a desk.
"Hey rotom. why dont you scan pikachu first!"
"Scanning… Scanning… Scanning…! Ok! Pikachu, the mouse pokemon, an electric type, gendered male, with the ability static! Pikachu feed on electricity, and can often be found j. Power plants. It evolves into raichu via a thunder stone, and this pikachu is from Kanto, and evolved from pichu via friendship with a wild pokemon. Its trainer is ash ketchum!"
"Wow, that was so cool! You gave so much info about it!
"My specialty!" The pokedex replied.
Pikachu wandered among the items, sniffing them.
Then, he stopped st the yellow stone.
"What is it pikachu…" ash asked.
"What's he looking at?" Kukui asked.
"Thunder stone. A stone that can make a few different species of pokemon evolve, such as Pikachu into Raichu, Eevee into Jolteon, or Eelektrik into Eelektross. Thunder stones from some regions can create an electrical field, but this is not true in Alola."
"A thunder stone huh" kukui said.
"That could make pikachu evolve!" Burnet replied.
"YeH, but pikachu doesnt want to evolve, right buddy?"
But pikachu was staring st the stone.
"Why wouldnt it want to evolve? It could be stronger as a raichu?"
"Well it wants to be strong as a pikachu!"
"This pikachu has learned every move it can learn as a pikachu. It can only learn moves by special tutors, technical machines, or evolving into a rsichu" Rotom said.
"But it still wants to prove that its strong as it is.
"This is completely illogical!" Rotom repleis.
Pikachu looked as if gears were spinning in his little mouse head. Then, pikachu reached out to touch the stone, but pulled back. Then, he looked at his little paw, and made a decision. He then touched the stone with his paw.
The others, who were busy talking didnt notice this, until they saw pikachu glowing.
"What!" Ash yelled. "What's happening!"
The glowing pikachu stopped glowing and now there was a raichu.
"W-w-what! Ash said, dumbstrucken.
But raichu stood there.
He looked at his paws, then at his long, wiry tail.
He then used thunderbolt on torracat, waking it up, and torracat looked mad at raichu.
Then, he shook his hamead.
"Rai" *sorry) he said, apologizing to torracat. "Raichu raichu rai" (I was just testing out my new strength)
Then, raichu walked over to ash and hugged his leg.
"You evolved?" Ash Said, in a worried voixe. "Did you mean to? Or did you do this purpose.
"Rai rai-chu rai rai" The pokemon r res sp ok nded.
On rotoms screen, english words appesred; it looked like this.

Raichu: "I'm changing my mind"
Ash saw this, realized rotom now had this feature, and replied to pikac and u.
"But what made you change your mind.
Raichu: what rotom said. He told me I had already gotten as strong as I can get as a pikachu. All that time ago, when I battled surge, I wanted to become as strong as I could as a pikavhu. But now, i am, and so i had no choice but to evolve.
"Wel Pikaac- no. , Raichu, if that what you want to do, then go ahead. I respect your decis-
At that moment, mallow knocked on the door, and behind her were the classmates and gladion.
"Alola suprise Kukui!" Everyone exclaimed
"Tsareena!"
"We came to give you a party, to celebrate the fact that you've created a pokemon leage!" Sophocles said, while togedemary jumped off him.
"I'm so psyched for the league!" Kiawe added. Marowak did a little bone twirl thing.
"It was kisses idea to thank you somehow" lillie said, bulpix in hand.
"I wanted a simple ceremony thanking you for this great idea…" kiawe added.
"Yeah, but a party sounds more fun" lana said "right primarina!"
"Soon the league will be here, and I'm gonna be training, starting tomorrow" gladion replied.
"Well I'll be! Thanks so much for throwing me a party!"
"Its the least we could do, you are the one creating a leage, after all."
Ash walked over to the others
"Hello everyone, hi gladion." Ash said.
"Hi ash!" Mallow said.
Raichu jumped from behind ash.
"Cool, pikachu evokved!" Sophockes said.
"Yep, he decided to."ash said.
"I'm glad he did that by choosing to, and not by being forced" Gladion said.
"Yeah, I would never make Sandy evokve" lana said, while her eevee jumped from in front of her.
But then, Sandy the Eevee jumped onto the table with things on it, and touched a waterstones, evolving into a vaporeon.
"Huh, so you did want to evolve!"
Sandy the Vaporeon jumped into Lana's arms.
And although there were already 2 evolutions this day, one more would happen.
"Woah, sandy evolved!" Ash said.
Then, vulpix jumped out of lillies arms. Snowy then walked up to the table, sawn an ice stone, and touched it, evolving into an alolan ninetales. Then. The weight of the pokemon caused the table to tip, and the items to fall on the ground.
Snowy then jumped onto the couch.
"No, snowy, dont do that!" Lily said, before she and gladion picked up the items
,"so are these items for the items assignment? Lillie asked.
"Yep, although 3 of them are now gone…"
Raichu, Vaporeon, and Nietales were on thee xouch.
"Because of those 3" ash said, pointing to the pokemon.
Torracat saw this as a time for revenge. He didnt care about the apology, raichu just would get a ember to the face.
But raichu used his tail to flick it back at torracat, but it missed, and hit the table that kiawe had set up while the others were talking.
Then, snowy fell off the couch, and tripped on the obsidian, which is sharp, and stabbed into the now on fire table.
Vaporeon quickly used water gun to but out the fires, but then a stray water gun hit torracatt, who then used fire fang on vaporeon.
Vaporeon responded with a water gun against and now the floor was wet.
This al happened in 15 seconds.
"Cut it out!" Ash ordered.
But then it got worse, and it was so bad that the others couldn't speak, as they were to focused on what was happening.
Raichu used thunderbolt on vaporeon as to stop the fight, but because of his new strength, the attack felt serious damage to the aquatic , knocking it oit.
However, vaporeon fell on a max revive, and was quickly rejuvenated.
And now, Sandy the Vaporeon was mad at the others.
Vaporeon shot a water gun at raichu, who deflected it, and it hit rotom, who started to short circuit form the powerful water. Rotom escaped the dying pokedex form, and started to uncontrollably dart around, ending up hitting Sophocles' togedemaru, who started to roll around the room, knocking stuff over.
Eventually, togedemaru hit marowak. Angering it.
Marowak threw his bone at Togedemaru, but he was going to fast, and the bone instead hit the fish tak with two luvdisk in it, causing them to escape, and they jumped into the punch bowl that was on the ground.
Torracat attacked all the other pokemon, and all the pokemon were fighting. Destroying the rokm.
The humans escaped.
While outside they came up with a plan.
"Tsareena, why dont you go in, and use sleep powder."
"Ok, and maybe then Primarina can use sing as well"
"That's a good idea"
But the two pokemon started fighting, as they couldn't figure out the idea.
Meanwhile, in the shadows, a small creature was lurking.
To stop the fighting, Turtonator, Rowlet, Lycanrok,and Vikavolt went in.
This was a failure.
Marowak and tutonator caught, rowlet just attacked tsareena, lycanrok got muddy and went berserk, and vikavolt got caught in the crossfire and decided to fight back.
Inside the building, it was chaos.
In the shadows, marshadow was emitting its combat aura, that makes pokemon fight each other.
Then, the fighting got worse in the building. Every pokemon went mad. They wouldnt stop until all the others were fainted… no dead. And someone needed to do something about this.
Everyone rushed in, seeing the battle that was unfolding. Blood was visible. Everyone returned their pokemon, but some were still out: ash's raichu, snowy, and sandy. The three that evolved.
And they were also the most hurt.
Raichu was shocking the vaporeon with all his might, and vaporeon was unable to bear it. Snowy was shooting very cold ice beams at the rsichu.
Vaporeon was using scald on snowy, hurting it badly. All 3 pokemon were badly bruised, bloody, etc. If this was a normal battle, they would all be considered fainted. But they still had energy to survive. They weren't fighting for their HP energy, they were fighting to the trainers tried to stop them, but the pokemon were in blind rsge
Outside, gladion was looking around with silvally, who was immune to the effects. Umbreon and lycanroc tried fighting but gladion returned them.
Then, marshadow appeared.
Marshadow emitted energy, which then hit a wildsingle, who attempted to attack another one.
"So, your the one causing all this mess! I dont stand for it." Gladion said. "Pokemon are being hurt because of you."
"Silvally, accept this Flying Memory, and become the beast that rules the skyes!"
Silvally accepted the flying type, then used Ariel Ace.
Marshadow responded with a dark pulse.
The two moves hit.
Then, marshadow turned into its zenith forms as green around it wrapped. Then, it started to use a zmove.
"Its using a zmove without a trainer…" gladion said.
Somehow, the Shadowmon Summoned Seven Stars, superimposed in the sky above silvally,and then atruc Silvally with Soul Stealing Seven Star strike.
The attack struck silvally, and it hit HARD. Silvally's soul left its body.
Silvally died. It dissapeared, leaving nothing left.
"No… Silvally…" gladion said.
"SILVALLY!" Gladion yelled.
But this yelling was drowned out by other yells from I side the house.
In the house the 3 pokemon were fighting.
Then, raichu and vaporeon hit ninetales.
Thunder, Surf, and blizzard collided, creating an explosion, and the trainers all left the house.
Then, when they returned they saw the disappearing corpses of the 3 pokemln.
"Raichu…."
"Sandy…"
"Snowy!"
Outside, gladion was joined by Ash, Lillie, and Lana.
"Why were those pokemon fighting… to the death." Ash said before starting to cry.
"Its all the fault of that… thing! Gladion said pointing to marshadow. "And I'm gonna get rid of it for good"
Gladion pulled out a purple and pink pokeball… a master ball, and threw it at Marshadow.
Then, he walked away.
"Where are you going!" Ash yelled. Dont you care about us! Dont you care about your sister!" Ash said, talking about Lillie, who was crying in rage on the ground.
"Yes." Gladion said.
Ash, Lanaz Lillie, and Gladion ran down the path, up to the ocean. Kiawe and Mallow were following.
"Kiawe. Fly us to Wela Volcano." Gladion said.
"Why? What about the pokemkn fighting issue?"
"Its over." Gladion ssid. "An evil pokemo- no monster, used its combat aura to force the pokemkn to fight to death. I caught it in this Master Ball, and I'm going to destroy it in Wela Volcano.
And so kiawe sent out charizard, and they silently flew to the volcano.
"What about the other pokemkn. Are they safe?" Mallow asked, finally."
"Yes. The only ones that died were Silvally, Raichu, Sandy, and Snowy"
Ash was thinking about all the moments they had together, all the trouble they had been through
But then he remembered something.
But he didnt dare say it.
Ash and the crew arrived at the top of wela volcano.
There was a big cliff above the bubbling lava.
Gladion sent out Umbreon, Zoroark, and Lycanrock.
He then grabbed the master ball, containing marshadow, and cast it into the lava pit.
Then he jumped.
"Gladion!" Ash said, before taking off his backpack and setting it down.
"Why would you do that!" Ash added.
And they could only watch and gladion burned away.
And marshadow dissapeared as well.
Ash then jumped after ward.
"Im sorry, raichu" he muttered.
Lillie jumped to try to grab ash and save him, and it was all for naught, as both were left hangin.
"You cant do that" lillie said.
Then, lana tried to grab lillie, but it just pulled all 3 of them closer to the blaze.
Meanwhile, ash's backpack and lana's pokeball containing Primarinarested on the cliff
Then, they rolled into the lava.
"No! The pokemon" ash said.
Kiawe sent out charizard again, to pick up ash, but then… Marshadow emerged from the blaze. Marshadow waved out combat aura, and Tsareena, Marowak, and Turtonator popped out of the balls.
Then, a helicopter emerged, and tsareena shit a seed bomb at it, causing it to careen into the blaze. In the copter, was Kukui, Burnet, Theirpokemon, Sophocles, and His Pokemon.,
Ash saw this occur.
He decided to let go.
"Ash!" Lillie said. As ash fell, but charizard swooped him up.
Marshadow then pushed lana, causing her and lillie to fall in the volcano as well.
The only ones left were kiawe and mallow.
But then, they could feel themselves being controlled. They returned all their pokemon, and dropped them into the lava, before jumping in.
It was the end of all of the people. And pokemon
Except ash.
Ash ran and jumped…
Then he woke up.
In his bed, in kukuis house.
He breathed heavily, started to cry. "Raichu? Gladion?"
Pikachu walked over to ash.
"Pikachu? Are you ok?"
And all was fine.
In the sky, a pokemon of shadows flew away.
It wasn't marshadow.
It was darkrai.
"Oh lord, I accidentally gave the chosen one nightmares, arveys is gonna kill me!"
