NOT A LUCY'S REVENGE STORY

I was looking at her wiki page because I was trying to pinpoint when I was diverging from canon and it's been years since I started watching fairy tail and I only recently FINALLY found somewhere to watch the Tartarus arc (I do in fact sail the 7 seas because I am officially a broke uni student). I thought Lucy was like 22 by the time I reached the Tartarus arc but SHE'S ACTUALLY 17/18!? I'M OLDER THAN HER? Fucking crazy.

Important info: Lucy was born X767. This fic starts Summer/Fall X793. Breaks from canon after episode 226 (or 51 the 2014 series) of the anime. The events of the Fairy Tail series happened 2 years later than the canon start date. So instead of turning 17 she turned 19. She is biologically 19 and idk how old chronologically because of the 7 year time skip. Everyone is 2 years older in this fic.

The guild had been quiet today despite it being packed with mages. There were no performances or giant brawls, no one came running in shouting about attacks from monsters or dark guilds and no long-lost members were returning. The peace was welcome but unnerving.

It was time to shake things up. After all, it had been a while since Fairy Tail's last grand adventure.

Seven Thousand Years Ago…

"Congratulations your majesties! It's a healthy little girl!"

A midwife assisted the Queen to her bed while another placed the crying bundle into the arms of the mother once she had settled. Everyone smiled as the cries stifled. The King leaned forward shakily and peered into the bundle in his wife's arms.

"What have you decided to name her my love?" the King breathed.

"Millicent. Her name is Millicent Margaret McGarden. "

On the other side of the palace, another newborn rested upon her mother's chest. A man with worn dress robes rushed into the infirmary. When he reached the cot that held his wife, he stopped short and took in the sight of his family. The woman smiled when she spotted her husband.

"She was born yesterday afternoon. I've named her Lutanda Cordilia."

The man approached his wife and planted a kiss on her forehead.

"This is it. Our beautiful daughter marks the 51st generation of the Heartfilia family. Clan Heartfilia is now a House. We're eligible for a lordship. We did it my love!"

In the span of twenty for hours the lives of trillions of beings and creatures changed. It was the dawn of a New Era. One that would end catastrophically for all involved

So, this is the teaser/prologue. It is part of the story. Chapters will hopefully be in the range of 2000 words or more. This fic will be on Ao3, FFnet and Wttpd. Thought I would finally be able to publish chapter 1 but all of the material I have is from when I was 13 and leads to cringy dragon slayer mating smut. And NO ONE was spared. Obviously I'm scraping all of that. I'll try to do monthly updates like my InuYasha fic but we'll see how it goes.
