"Oh. My. Gawd," Polly gasped, slowly rolling to stop as she spotted her next target; her "active/casual" stream had been pretty chill so far, rollerblading around Glenberry's public park (which really needed a new landscape artist, by the way; those hydrangeas completely clashed with the daffodils!) and occasionally interviewing people about their choices in fashion.
Until she spotted a woman sitting on a bench playing on her phone.
"Guys, I don't want to alarm you...but I think I moight have found the jackpot here!" She pushed forward, skidding to a stop next to the bench. "Hey, lady!"
The woman glanced up from her phone, giving Polly a quizzical look. "...can I help you?" she hesitantly asked.
"Do you moind if I ask you a few questions about your outfit?"
The woman (who she could now see was of Asian descent) was wearing a vintage Black Sabbath t-shirt along with a loose tie hanging on her neck. A pair of black skinny jeans graced her shapely legs, which ended in a pair of sporty-looking flats. Her arms were mostly unadorned save for a watch that, while cheap-looking, had a pleasant design to it, a pair of rimless glasses rounding out the look. The woman's naturally black hair draped down her shoulders.
And judging by the brief look she spared her own phone, her audience was also digging the attire.
"I guess so…is that a camera on your helmet?"
"Yep! Oi'm doing a TeleYube Cast roight now. So, tell us your name and a little about how you put this look together? We're just dying to know!"
The woman cleared her throat. "Well...I basically just threw on whatever wasn't in my laundry hamper," she shrugged. "Not really much more than that, honestly."
"Oh come on!" Polly wasn't buying this for a second...and neither were her chatroom, if all the emojis they were suddenly spamming were any indication. "You look like an intelligent, confident woman; surely there had to be some planning that went into this, right? It can't all have been random…"
"What can I say?" Aiko said, "The Casino's closed on Sundays, and I don't have to worry about the Dean getting on my case about teaching 'til at least Wednesday, so I didn't really have anything better to do." She leaned back, her ebony hair hanging loose over the back of the bench. "I actually thought it was Monday for a moment before I realized it wasn't, and by that point it would have been a hassle to put the tie back in the drawer…"
Well...she's certainly forward about this…
"Oh, by the way…!" Aiko sat up straight again. "Do you mind if I ask you a question?"
"Me? Uh, sure, why not? Seems only fair."
"Are you...you know…? Or is that really just a banana in your pants?" She glanced downward, and Polly felt herself grow flushed.
"That is not something you ask a lady in public, lady! ...but yes, Oi'm still transitioning." Thankfully her chat started sending encouraging messages.
"Alright, fair enough." Aiko held her hands up in surrender, "I was just wondering if you might want to...grab a bite to eat? There's a nice clam chowder place around the block, though I think I'm craving a hot dog, myself.~"
Polly was beginning to regret her decision to wear a sports bra and mini-shorts for this stream.
"Oi think we're done here," she said before turning the Go-Pro back on her face. "That's gunna be all for this stream, folks! Remember, Oi'm dropping a new vid about proper foundation techniques tomorrow, so tell your friends, and smash that Thumbs Up button. Toodles!~"
Once the stream was cut, she turned back to Aiko. "Look, Oi'm flattered that you foind me attractive, Oi really am, but there are just some things that you don't say to people, not unless you're both already- Hey! My eyes are up here, lady!"
"I know.~"
Aiko's gaze was still angled downward.

This was kinda random, but it had to be done. (You see, I made myself a "random pairing generator" for the HuniePop characters to help challenge myself, and this was the first result that came up. Look forward to more of these short fics in the future.)
