1Weeks passed and Seth never took the little girl back to the Performance Center. He would leave her with his next door neighbor who was an older lady. He couldn't let anyone take his little girl away from him.
Walking into the Performance Center, Roman got there before anyone, and then saw Seth walk in. "Hey Seth, for a while now I have been wanting to ask you a question."
Seth was walking to the locker room to get ready to do a workout when Roman stopped him. "Hey Ro. What do you have to ask?"
Roman was nervous. Here was his crush standing right in front of him, and he was finally going to man up and ask him out. "Um, well I was wondering if you wanted to hangout with me some night and get coffee or a drink? After Roman was done, he instantly felt stupid. The look on Seth's face, made him feel stupid and that he messed up. "I'm sorry Seth. Just don't worry about it, okay?" Roman went to walk away, when Seth reaches out and grabs his arm.
"Ro, did you just ask me out on a date?" Seth asked quietly back to the Samoan.
Roman nodded. "You don't have to say anything. I understand. You are probably seeing someone and who knows if you are even into men. I don't know. Please, I am sorry." Roman was trying to get away from the younger man. He ruined what friendship they had and he was embarrassed.
"Roman shut up for a minute and let me talk. I am very much into men, and I would like to go out with you for coffee. I just have to get some things moved around." Seth said to the slightly older man. He really wanted to go out with Roman. He has had his eye on Roman for months, but he was still afraid. He doesn't want to get into the same situation that he was in before with Marek. He knows Roman isn't the same person as Marek, but he was hurt once, and he isn't the only person now he has to think about.
"Alright. Thank you Seth. I promise you won't regret going out with me. I promise it will just be coffee. You let me know when you want to go out. I will leave you to decide…." Roman was rambling again. He was nervous around Seth.
Reaching out and grabbing his hand, Seth said "Ro, calm down. It's okay. I...I know you won't take advantage of me. I will let you know when we can go out." Seth let out a chuckle at the look on Roman's face, he was blushing.
That day the three of them, Dean, Seth and Roman all did a great workout in the gym and then did another in ring workout. "Guys that was awesome today. I think we should call it a day." Dean said to his other two friends. They had been working on new moves long after everyone left.
"I agree. We killed it out there today." Seth said fist bumping the other two. They have been way ahead of everyone else in their training session. There was nothing that they couldn't do together.
Seeing his dad walking over to them, Roman was the first to speak. "Hey, dad. What's up?" He hugged his dad when he got to where they were.
"Hi Mr. Helmsley." Seth greeted his boss. It was because of Hunter that he was in WWE. Hunter was his favorite wrestler growing up. Now he was here because of Hunter. If it weren't for Hunter, he would still be in the indies and with Marek or worse, not here at all. So Seth always was shy when it came to being around Hunter.
"Dad! I have to tell ya that I trained with Seth and Rome in the gym today. Seth kicked our asses with that crossfit stuff he does." Dean said to his dad with a goofy smile on his face.
Hunter was laughing at his son. "Well I am glad you worked out today. Seth, no need with the Mr. Helmsley stuff, Hunter is fine. I'm not as tight round as people think I am, and thank you for kicking Dean's ass today in the gym. He needs that." Looking at his other son, he was happy to see them all together. "Oh boys, I am to tell you that your mother wants to go out to dinner tonight as a family, you boys and the girls. So please look presentable. Oh and Seth, you are very much welcomed to come along. Don't think I don't see the glances you and Roman give each other." Hunter said and walked away from the three boys.
"Holy shit! Are you two finally going out?" Dean asked his brother and his best friend.
"Yeah Dean, I think I am going to take a chance with the big man. I mean we are just going for coffee, but it's a nice little first date." Seth answered his best friend. He smiled at Roman, couldn't help it. He really liked Roman.
"I'm happy for you both. I really am. It's about time that this is happening." Dean said as he was gathering his things. "Oh Seth, are you coming out with us tonight?" Dean asked as he turned around facing his friend.
"Sure. I have to make a call quickly, but yeah I can come out for a bit." Seth said back to his friend. He had to make sure it was okay with his neighbor if she looked after his little girl a little bit longer.
Dean nodded. Roman went to the showers since he was the one that took the longest. "Dean, do you think Ro will be upset when he finds out I have a daughter?" Seth asked his best friend.
Shaking his head, Dean replied "No Sethie, I don't think he will be upset. His past wasn't the best either before mom and dad found him when he was four. I think he will be very understanding of your past when you tell him. He won't judge you, and he will wait until you tell him. That is just how he is. Oh and he is great with your younger sisters. He knows his way around babies." Dean said to Seth. Seth laughed and followed his friend into the locker room to get ready for dinner.
