Hello. My name is Johannvanguard. After reading fanfiction stories for almost 8 years and helping a few authors with some of their stories, I've decided to finally start my own story. This first story is a special one to me because it's a crossover of a great cartoon show/anthology series and a cool fanfiction story. I hope you all enjoy it!

Author's Note: Before reading this story, I recommend reading Yo-kai Watch: Another Watcher Seasons 1 and 2, written by NewComer1, to understand it.

Disclaimer: I don't own the Infinity Train or Yo-kai Watch Another Watcher, including the OCs Ken, Mika, and the yokai. I just own my OCs. All rights go to their respective owners.

Chapter 1: The Robotropolis Car

The sun shined bright in the clear, blue sky. The trees were full of lovely, green leaves. Baby birds fly in the sky, butterflies landed on flowers, and grasshoppers rubbed their legs to make their little chirp sounds. In Sakura New Town, Japan, there live both people and yokai.

The yokai are invisible ghosts that are responsible for life's daily annoyances. People can't see them, though there are some exceptions. One is you wield the Yokai Watch, a rare device that lets the you see the yokai. Another is if you have the rare ability to see yokai without a watch.

In town, there are two kids inside a house with two floors and a balcony, front yard, wide backyard, and garage.

Right now, they were in the living room putting down some small moving boxes they were carrying.

"That's the last of it," a boy said.

His name is Ken Aichi. A 12 year-old with dirty blond hair and his hairstyle is a bit spiky with some swayed to the right over his forehead. He has dark brown eyes and olive complexion, and his height is around average for his age. Also, he wears a dark-blue T-shirt with a bald eagle printed on the back, green jersey shorts, and white socks. On his left wrist is a silver watch with some buttons on it, but no numbers or Roman numerals to tell the time.

"Alright!" a girl jumped in joy.

Her name is Mika Aichi, and she and Ken are cousins. She is an 11 year-old with long, black hair and light skin. Her most interesting features were her clothes and eyes. She wore a classic black and white gothic lolita dress with frills at the bottom, and white socks. Her eyes were different because her left eye is red, and her right eye is blue. Both Mika and Ken are the same height.

"Master Ken, would you and Miss Mika like a cold drink of lemonade?" a floating ghost asked.

Her name is Yuray, and she is a yokai. She is a pink ghost-like wisp with green emerald eyes, and a bang shaped-like a pony-tail as if it was her hair. She wears black and white maid clothes. She's also one of Ken's yokai friends who lives with him and his maid.

"Sure," Ken accepted.

"Yeah! That sounds great," Mika said.

"Alright then. I'll be right back," Yuray left for the kitchen.

As soon as she left, the front door opened. Ken and Mika went to go see who it was.

"Hoowee. Today sure is a hot day," a Southern American voice stated.

The two kids saw it was Lasagnyan, the other one of Ken's yokai friends who lives with him. She is a cat that can stand on two legs. Her body is a mix of meaty brown, cheesy white, and yellow colors. She has red-like sauce on her forehead, yellowish-like noodles for hair that go over her cat ears, and two long yellow tails with red hitodama flames at the ends.

"Hey Lasagnyan," Ken greeted her.

"Good to see you're back. How was your day?" Mika asked with a smile.

"It was good, y'all. But it got too hot to keep being outside. I felt hotter than a horse eatin' hot peppers at a campfire," Lasagnyan told them, wiping a bit of sweat off her face.

"Oh, Miss Lasagnyan, you're back," Yuray came back with a tray of lemonade glasses.

"Hey, Yuray," Lasagnyan greeted her friend.

"Oh my. Lasagnyan, you look sweaty. I'll get you some lemonade and lasagna," Yuray said as she offered the drinks to Ken and Mika.

"Thanks Yuray," Lasagnyan responded as she went to the living room.

Ken and Mika, with their drinks in hand, joined the cat yokai.

"So, how do ya feel about living here Mika?" Lasagnyan questioned as the kids drank their lemonade.

"I think it's gonna be great living here," the young girl commented. "What do you think Ken?"

He stopped drinking his lemonade for a moment to answer.

"Yeah, it should be good," Ken answered with a neutral look.

"You okay, partner?" Lasagnyan asked.

"I'm fine," he said as he drank his lemonade.

Yuray came into the living room with a tray of a lasagna on a plate with a fork and a glass of lemonade.

"Here is your food, Lasagnyan," Yuray presented the food to her.

"Thanks Yuray," Lasagnyan smiled to her friend.

The cat yokai took a drink of lemonade and ate her lasagna.

"Yuray, this lemonade you made is great," Mika commented.

"Thank you Miss Mika," Yuray bowed. "I've been meaning to ask. Are you going to be okay living here without your parents?"

Mika was silent for a moment, but then happily said, "Yeah. I'm going to be just fine because I've got you, my cuz Ken, Lasagnyan, and auntie Mio when she's not busy at work."

"Well, that's good to hear," Yuray smiled with a sweat-drop.

After everyone finished their break, they worked together to move the boxes in the living room to Mika's room. It was on the first floor and it was a medium-size guest room.

Once they got all the boxes in there, Mika realized something important.

"Oh no! I forgot a box at home," she gasped. "I have to go get it."

"You want to go out in the hot sun? You can just wait until tomorrow," Ken suggested as his cousin was going to the front door.

She stopped walking, turned to face him and replied, "No, I can't. The box is ... important to me."

With that, Ken sighed and made his choice.

"Alright, I'm coming with you," he decided.

"If you're going Master Ken, then so will I," Yuray declared.

"Actually, I think you and Lasagnyan should stay here and unpack the boxes," he suggested.

"What?! But Master Ken," his ghost maid tried to rebuke, but she was interrupted.

"Can you and Lasagnyan do that? That'd really help when we get back," Mika begged with the namaste hand gesture.

"I don't know," Yuray wasn't sure.

"Don't worry, Yuray. They won't dilly dally. They're just gonna take the train to Kaze Okami Village, get the back at the Aichi Inn, and come right back. They'll be back faster than a rabbit hocked up on candy in a running race," Lasagnyan reasoned.

"Well, alright then," Yuray accepted. "Just please be back soon."

The kids both nodded and went to get their shoes. Ken put on his black sneakers and Mika put on her black shoes.

After that, they walked to the train station. On the way, the two kids talked.

"So Ken, you sure you're okay with me living with you?" Mika inquired.

"Yeah, it's fine," he commented.

"Are you sure there's no problem? Is it because I'm a girl?" she wondered.

Those questions annoyed Ken a little, but he kept a calm look on his face.

"It's fine, okay. Besides, I live Yuray, Lasagnyan, and my mom. Having you at home isn't going to be that different," he explained.

"Oh. Alright," Mika accepted with a smile.

"What about you? Are you okay living here without grandma, uncle, and your parents?" Ken asked his cousin.

"Well, it's gonna feel a little different without them, but I've got you, your mom, and your yokai friends. Plus, I'm gonna make some great friends when school starts," Mika answered.

"Okay," he replied.

Eventually, they made it to the train station and waited for the train to come.

"So what's so important about the box?" Ken questioned, which made Mika silent for a moment.

"It just has some special stuff in it," she answered. "You know you didn't have to come with me."

"I know, but if the box is heavy, you could use some help with it," he responded calmly.

"Aw. Thanks cuz," Mika smiled.

Then they heard the sound of a train coming to them. For some reason, it was coming in quickly and the inside glowed green, but then train stopped a few seconds later. When the glow dimmed, Ken and Mika approached the train and saw that the it looked black, as it usually does. As they got to one of the train doors, it opened on its own and it showed nothing inside it, and the sign above it read 'Kazi-Okami Village'.

"That's strange. The train's never done this before," Ken was skeptical.

"Wow! This trains looks cool. Maybe it's a new train the station is trying out, and the lights will turn on when we get in," Mika was amazed.

"It could be, but I don't know," he didn't quite agree with her.

"Come on cuz. Let's go," Mika pulled Ken's arm to the door.

"Okay. Fine," Ken agreed.

When they got to the door and put one foot in, they saw a portal of bright light from the inside quickly approach them. Unfortunately, they were too shocked to react as the light engulfed them.

Infinity Train

"Mmmmf... What happened?" Ken slowly woke up.

"Why were we sleeping?" Mika woke up too.

As they opened their eyes, they saw they were in their same clothes, and inside the same opened, white metal pod. In front of them, they saw a display screen monitor attached to the other open part of the pod.

Ken and Mika looked at their surrounding area and saw they were in a field of trees and bushes. However, everything was made of colorful metal, like the colors of a rainbow.

"Wow! This place looks cool," she commented.

"Where are we?" he questioned.

Then a video played on the monitor. The kids saw on it was a white, spherical robot with four spider-like legs and a black stripe that runs down the entire circumference of its body. On the front, the black stripe has two white dots.

"Who are you?" Mika was curious.

"Welcome aboard new passenger. I'm your conductor One-One," the robot introduced himself, but said the first part of his name happily and the second part sadly.

"Once you wipe those groggy little peepers, you'll probably have a lot of questions. Like 'Where am I?', 'Why am I here?', 'Are snacks provided?'." One-One happily listed.

"Well that now you mention it," Mika started.

"Shhhhhh," Ken shushed her so they can listen to the video.

"For those of you talking to me like I'm there in real life, I'm not," the robot continued.

"I'm a cold steely pre-recorded video," he said unhappily and seriously.

"And this a train where you sort out your problems. How about that number on your hand? Pretty cool and green," One-One commented.

"Every passenger has one," the robot mentioned seriously.

The kids were confused by what One-One was saying so they checked their hands.

"Woah!" Mika was surprised.

"What the?" Ken was shocked.

They each saw on the palms of their right hands there was a neon green glow of the number 221 surrounded by two brackets of the same color on the top and bottom. After that, Ken and Mika saw the other person's hand and realized they have the same number.

"The numbers are made by the train based on your life, in order to help you to have the most personalized experience we can offer. If you want to go home, get your number down to zero, and, poof, away you go." One-One gladly explained.

"Huh, I'm a zero," the robot gloomy added.

"But always remember, there are lots of denizens along the way to help you on your journey. Don't be afraid to reach out," the screen briefly showed other unique creatures, like a tall blob of water with a face and a cute dog with a crown, before going back to One-One.

"Unless the denizen is one of those monsters with more teeth than body," the robot warned them seriously.

"Remember you can't spell 'escape' without 'companionship'. Um, 'companionshape'? Um, 'companionscape'?" One-One was confused.

"By watching this recording, you've agreed to release the train of any liability to any injury you may receive while riding it," the robot added seriously.

"Anyway, good luck on your journey of self discovery," One-One happily stated as the video ended.

"Wait, what? That didn't explain everything," Ken was still confused.

"We're stuck on a train?" Mika was worried.

"I still don't get why we're here," Ken complained.

"I can help with that," they heard a voice say.

They looked around, but didn't see anything. They got out of the pod and saw the someone was behind the open part of the pod.

It was a 6ft tall robot, colored in silver, yellow, black, and blue. It's head is round and has a black screen for face, and on it has blue eyes and mouth made of lighted bulb pixels, which can change shape to animate his face expressions. He has broad arms, legs, and shoulders, medium chest, big wrists, human-shaped hands and boot-shaped feet. On his chest, he has a big "X" colored in yellow and black.

"Who are you?" Ken questioned as he and Mika approached it.

"Hey there. My name is XL-10, but you can me Logan," the robot introduced itself with a happy pixel expression on its screen. "Who are you two?"

"I'm Ken," he greeted casually.

"I'm Mika," she greeted joyfully.

"Nice to meet you, Ken and Mika," Logan responded.

"Are you a denizen? Why are we here?" Mika asked Logan.

"Why do we have these numbers on our hands? How do we get them down to zero so we can go home?" Ken questioned the robot as both kids showed them their numbers.

"What? You both have the same number and came out of the same pod?" Logan had a surprise look on his screen.

"Yes," both kids answered.

"Well, that's a first for me. I've never seen other passengers with that before," Logan mentioned.

"Other passengers?" Mika repeated.

"There are other people here too?" Ken wondered.

"Yup, and to answer your other questions, I need to get something," Logan told them.

The robot opened the "X" on his chest like a refrigerator, put his hand inside, and took a red notebook out of it.

While he looked through it, he said, "Yes, I am a denizen, and right now, we're in a train car, which is part of the actual train."

"Train car?" the kids were confused.

"Ah, found it," the robot got to the right page and read from it. "So when you two got on the train, it came from a secret dimension to get you two."

"But why?" Mika asked.

"So you know how when you make choices it can lead to good and bad things?" the robot looked at them and back to his book.

"Yes," Ken said.

"For some reason, the two of you were making the wrong choices, making your lives terrible. That's what led to the train appearing before you guys, and you both ended up here by boarding it. The two of need to learn lessons to make yourselves better people, and that will get your numbers down to zero so you can go home," Logan explained.

"Thanks for telling us that. You're explanation was better than what One-One said," Ken remarked.

"But that little robot was cute and funny," Mika commented. "Can you help us out, Logan? We could use the help. Right Ken?"

"I guess so," Ken shrugged.

"Sure thing. I just got to get some stuff from my home in the city," Logan said with a happy expression on his screen.

"City?" the kids were confused.

"Oh right. I never told you guys. We're outside my home of Robotropolis," the robot pointed with his thumb behind him.

Ken and Mika looked around Logan, and saw a city made of colorful metal.

"Follow me. We'll go to my house and then get to the exit door," Logan told them.

The two kids followed the robot to the metal city.

Once there, Ken and Mika saw it had huge and small buildings, like homes, stores, schools, and skyscrapers. There were people-shaped robot denizens with various colors, genders, and sizes. They were also robot animals, like dogs, cats and birds. Unlike Logan, they didn't have "X" on their chests.

In the city, Ken and Mika saw that some of the robots were whispering something among themselves when Logan walked by.

Eventually, the group reached a medium house made of red, blue, and yellow metal parts. It had an "X" shaped roof colored silver.

"And here we are at my place," Logan presented his home.

"It looks neat," Mika commented with a smile.

"Should we wait out here or go in with you?" Ken asked.

"You two can wait outside. I won't be in there long," Logan assured them as he went inside.

"Do you really think he can help us with getting our numbers to zero so we can off the train?" Ken asked his cousin.

"I'm sure of it," Mika assured him. "He's helped us out so far with what our numbers are for and how we can get off the train."

"Even so, My mom and your parents are going to be worried if we don't get home soon," Ken mentioned.

"Don't worry. As long as we work together and Logan helps us out, we'll be just fine," Mika smiled.

"I hope you're right," Ken said.

In his house, Logan was looking around for what he needed. His home had a long hallway, connected to six rooms. Each room had spare robot parts, a large desk, and a bed. Logan was his room putting everything he needed in his chest compartment.

He stopped for a moment when he came across something on his desk. It was small picture of him and his family. It showed two adult bots, each colored red and yellow, and eight younger looking bots, each colored orange, blue, green, black, white, gold, pink, and silver. They all had the letter "X" on their chests.

Logan had a sad expression on his screen face, but then shook it off, put the picture in his chest compartment, and kept looking for more items.

Outside, Ken and Mika were still waiting for Logan and noticed some bots walking nearby.

"Hey, let's talk to some robots while we're waiting," Mika suggested.

"Alright. I guess it's better than waiting," Ken agreed.

The kids approached the bots and saw they were an adult male and female.

"Hi there," Mika greeted them excitedly.

"Hello," the female bot said.

"Are you two the new passengers we've heard about?" the male bot asked.

"We are," Ken answered.

"Is it true you were with XL-10?" the female bot asked.

"You mean Logan? Yeah, we are," Mika told them.

The bots looked at each other with sad looks on their screen faces before talking to the kids.

"Well, if he's helping you two, then don't expect too much help from him," the female bot warned them.

"Why?" Ken questioned.

"Because XL-10 and his family used to be very helpful in the past, but now he isn't so much," the male bot explained.

"Did something happen to Logan's family?" Mika asked.

"We don't know what happened to them. We just know that they disappeared one day," the female bot said.

"After that, XL-10 wasn't so helpful as he was once. He helps out in the city sometimes, but he mostly stays in his house," the male bot added.

The kids were confused to hear that because of how helpful Logan has been to them so far.

"Well we've got to head back to our kids," the female bot stated.

"Nice chatting with you two," the male bot ended the conversation.

Then both bots left the two kids.

"Can you believe what they said about Logan," Mika complained with a small frown.

"I know, but maybe we shouldn't rely on him too much," Ken suggested.

That got his cousin a bit upset.

"Are you saying you believe what those robots said about Logan?" Mika wondered.

"No," Ken replied. "I'm just saying we should be careful with him because we don't know a lot about him."

Though Mika didn't quite like the idea, she decided to go along with it for now.

"Okay," she agreed.

"Hey guys," they heard Logan say and saw him coming to them. "Were you waiting long?"

"No," the kids responded together.

"Alright then," Logan's screen face had a happy expression. "Let's get to the car door."

"Car door?" Ken and Mika were confused.

"You'll see when we get there," Logan assured them.

The kids followed him as he guided them out of the city and to another field that looks like the one they were at before.

"So are you two friends or something?" Logan asked them.

"Actually, we're cousins" Mika replied.

"Really?" the robot questioned.

The kids nodded.

"Cool. So what were you guys talking to the two robots about?" Logan was curious.

"Oh, nothing important," Mika tried to avoid answering.

Though Logan turned around and he wasn't buying it because of the skeptical expression on his screen face.

"Actually, they told us that you might not be too helpful because of something that happened to your family a long time ago," Ken sadly revealed.

"Ken!" Mika shouted.

"No, it's alright," Logan assured them. "The thing is I don't remember what happened to my family."

"What?" the kids were surprised.

"Something happened to my memory back then, and so I don't know where my family is. I hoped that I could journey with some passengers to find out what happened to my family. However, when they came, they had denizens already helping them so it didn't feel right for me to go with them. Also, I wanted to help passengers get home to their families because it would be nice to do at least that for them," Logan explained.

Hearing that made them feel sorry for the robot.

"I'm sorry, Logan," Ken apologized. "We had no idea."

"It's alright. It's not something I talk about often, but I'm determined to find my family," the robot said.

"Don't worry, Logan. Since you're helping us get home, we'll help you find your family," Mika cheered him up.

"Really?" he asked.

The kids nodded that they would.

"Thanks guys. Now let's get to the door," Logan got back to leading the way.

After walking for a while, they reached the end of the field.

"Here's the door, guys," Logan presented to them.

Ken and Mika saw the car door is a red double arched door with gold handles shaped like a vertical infinity sign, but only the top right and bottom left parts were there.

"That's an odd door," Ken remarked.

"How do we open it?" Mika wondered.

"Don't worry. I've got this," Logan assured them.

He turned the handles and the door opened inward, showing the outside of the train car.

Then they all went through the door, ending up on a metal platform, like the one found on a train caboose. However, the platform didn't have railings on the side, but a ladder on the right side.

In front of them, they saw a medium metal bridge, with handrails on the side, connected to their platform and the other platform of the next train car, which is huge and metal, in front of them. The train car also had strange indented marks on the side.

"Woah!" Mika was amazed.

"That's a big train car," Ken commented.

"It is," Logan agreed. "Now you two should look to your right."

The kids did that and what they saw shocked them.

It was a vast, lifeless desert with a few dead, lifeless twisted black trees. The ground is varying shades of red, orange, and brown, and very flat. It's littered with pebbles and webbed with cracks, and mountains can be seen in the distance. The sky is blocked out by clouds in varying shades of red, but a thick strip of white light near the horizon suggests that the clouds are finite.

"What is that?" Ken asked.

Logan took his book out of his chest compartment and read, "That's the Wasteland. A terrible place outside of the train that you don't want to go to."

"Why?" Mika was curious.

"Because the Ghom live under it. They're vicious black bug-dog creatures that can fly and attack passengers. So I suggest staying out of there," Logan noted.

The kids looked back to him and nodded in agreement.

"Anyway, let's go to the next car," the robot lead the way to the bridge.

Ken and Mika followed him and talked to themselves.

"Mika, are you sure we can get home quickly?" Ken inquired.

"Yes, because we've got each other and Logan. We're going to be fine," Mika assured him.

"I hope you're right," Ken added.

The kids kept following Logan, and hoped they would get home soon.

And that it's for the first chapter. What did you think of it?

My reason for writing this crossover story is because I really liked watching the Infinity Train. The seasons (or books as the show calls them), the characters, and plots were great. Though I felt like there were some loose ends that needed to be tied up so that's where the story comes in. You readers are gonna like what this story has to offer.

As for the main OC characters Ken and Mika, I got permission to use them from their creator NewComer1. They're from his Yo-kai Watch Another Watcher stories. If you're curious to know more about them, I would suggest reading his Yo-kai Watch stories. I've helped out with some of those. Also, you can read his other great stories for other shows, like My Hero Academia, Yu-gi-oh VRAINS, One Piece, Pretty Cure, etc.

Speaking of My Hero Academia, I also help out TGRickel with his MHA story. It's told from the perspectives of both our OCs, his is Arisa Kawasaki and mine is Felicia Marvell, who are in NewComer1's MHA stories. I would suggest reading it because it's getting pretty interesting.

If you have ideas for OCs and train cars for this story, just submit them with your review or send it to me through PM.

With that done, I hope you all have a great day and look forward to the next chapter!
