"Rebecca?"

"No."

"Natasha?"

"Definitely not."

"What about Amanda?"

"Hermione, this is hopeless!" burst out Ron, sighing and placing his head in his hands on the table they were seated at before him.

"No, its not. We just need to keep looking!" Hermione insisted.

"We've been looking for the past two weeks and the baby is due tomorrow!" Ron stated as he pointed to Hermione's swollen stomach.

Hermione made a face. "Clearly, I know that. But we really need to find the perfect name," she said. "At least we know it's a girl."

"Yeah, that narrows our name search down," said Ron sarcastically.

"Oh, you just don't want to help me look, don't you?" Hermione snapped, throwing the book she had been reading, 100 baby names for girls, down on the table.

Ron look appalled. "Of course I do! Why wouldn't I?"

Hermione sighed. She was very tired, as she hadn't slept much the night before. But she was determined to find the perfect name for their baby girl.

"I've always wanted a girl, you know," said Hermione quietly after a short pause.

"I know," said Ron, looking at his wife. "You've talked about having one for ages. I still remember the look on your face when the Healer told us we were having a girl." He couldn't help but laugh a little at the memory.

"Ron! It wasn't funny," Hermione said.

"Yes, it was," said Ron, laughing a lot more now.

"Honestly Ronald... stop being so childish," Hermione said, rolling her eyes. But Ron could see the small smile on her face.

"O-okay... sorry. Oh! I just thought of a brilliant plan to think of a name for the baby!" Ron said eagerly, his laughter subsiding.

"Really? How?" Hermione said.

"Ok. I'm going to close my eyes, flip to a random page in the book and the name that my finger lands on is our name for the baby," he explained.

"Absolutely not!" Hermione shouted.

"Hermione, do you want to be here all night?" Ron asked her.

Hermione hesitated. "Oh... oh all right. Fine, we'll do it your way then," she said huffily and crossed her arms, well, as best she could considering the size of her stomach.

"Ready?" Ron asked her.

"Yes!" Hermione said. "Just get on with it."

Ron closed his eyes. "One... two... three..." Ron flipped through a few pages and stopped. He held his finger high in the air, and brought it down on a name.

Ron opened his eyes, and looked down. Hermione squirmed in her seat, eager and nervous to find out what name he had chosen.

"... How do you like the sound of Rose?" Ron said after a short pause.

Hermione thought for a moment. Rose... Rosie... Rosaline?

"Rose short for Rosaline. I like it. I really do like it," said Hermione honestly.

"Rosaline? I just meant-" But Ron could see Hermione was happy, so he let it go.

Now all they needed was for little Rosie to be born.
