Part 1: the Howling Wind
Prologue
Hey there, Grimlock987 here and welcome to part 1 of my Genshin Impact series. Before we go into this story, I would like to talk about my experience with Genshin Impact. I started playing Genshin Impact on 10/20/2020 on PS4 and I went in blind, and I fell in love with it. Anyway this will be my interpretation of the prologue, aka Mondstadt, and will go from the Prologue to The Chalk Prince and the Dragon, which will be very different from the original event. Also I would like to point out that I will be using the Traveler I choose in game, which was Lumine

Celestia?(An 1)
Lumine gritted her teeth as she stared at her opponent.
She and her brother, Aether, were about to leave this world when they were stopped by a deity that proclaimed itself as the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles and attacked them before they had a chance to explain what they were doing.
They had been able to dodge the Goddess attacks for some time until Aether thought he saw an opening and tried to attack only for it to be a trap.
"Let him go!" she cried as she watched black cubes cover her brother, only to be ignored.
Soon, the cubes engulfed Aether entirely and moved back to the goddess, taking Aether with them.
"One down, one to go," the goddess said as she turned to face Lumine.
It was at this moment when Lumine realized she wasn't dealing with a simple goddess wannabe and she would have to come up with a real plan.
However before she could put a plan into action, Lumine felt something on her leg. Dread filled her as she looked down to see the cubes had latched onto her leg and was spreading quickly.
Shocked, Lumine looked up to see the goddess was looking at her with a smug sneer on her face.
'I need to do something,' Lumine thought as she tried to get the cube off her, when an idea came to her.
'Looks like I have no other choice,' she thought as she started to gather her magic on vocal cords and she screamed(An 2).
Now this wasn't a mere sceam one would use when they see a spider, nay, this was a wail so loud that it could even be heard in space.
Lumine screamed until her voice gave out and then darkness consumed her vision.

Lumine noticed three things when she woke up.
One: her powers were gone
Two: her point of view was spinning
And three: she was over a fire
And she knew the reason for the last two.
"I am not going on the menu again!"
"Aaaaahhhh!" (An3)
And there you have it. The start of a journey. Next time Lumine is introduced to the one who tried to cook her and a strange mechanic.
An 1: Where does this encounter happen!? Cause that is the Title screen and if that's not Celestia, then I don't know what is.
An 2: Think of Marx's scream from Kirby but on the level of Blackbolt from Marvel.
An 3: There is a 4 panel comic where Paimon roasts Aether over a flame on the official Genshin Impact twitter account and I couldn't resist.
Anyway the 2.1 update has launched and I am enjoying it, but I haven't got to use Aloy yet. I'm trying to max her out, but I wonder who is coming for the next collab and honestly I hope it's 2B from Nier: Automata, yeah, I recently fell into that rabbit hole.
