No opening Author's note this time around. This is just a small one-shot I am doing and if I feel like it I'll make it into a full story.

Hopeless. That seemed to be the situation Shun and his friends found themselves in. After the death of his brother, Julius, Shun's life had become even more complicated. Not only was he granted the title of hero after his brother's passing, but his classmate Hugo had betrayed him and joined the ranks of the demons out of jealousy. And not only that his younger sister, Sue, had been brainwashed to kill their father. Joined by even their brother Cylis, who had also betrayed Shun after learning his father, the king, had planned to pass the throne onto Shun without his opinion first.

Shun, his brother Leston, and Hyrince were able to escape the castle thanks his teacher, Ms. Oka. Afterwards they had set up camp far away from the castle and discussed the situation. However, they discovered that they had been followed and were surrounded by soldiers led a brainwashed Katia, Shun's best friend, formerly a man in their past life and reincarnated as a girl.

After a long fight, Shun was able to save Katia after she had stabbed herself in the stomach and undid the brainwashing.

Shun rushed into battle to help Ms. Oka with her opponent, but was soon intercepted by a familiar woman. The human vampire, Sophia, who had assisted Hugo in his coup against Shun. She then proceeded to present the decapitated head of Oka's father, as well as the Elven Patriarch, Potimas, and she even licked the blood from her hand. This time however, she wasn't alone.

"Is this why you brought me here Sophia?" A voice said. Suddenly the group found themselves surrounded once again, this time by strange humanoid demonic creatures that were all purple, with bat-like wings on their heads with only one single eye. These creatures also held daggers as weapons and they made strange noises.

Though they didn't compare to the person said voice belonged to. His appearance alone had been enough to intimidate even Ms. Oka. He resembled that of a demonic knight, with a bat like visor, a long black cape, a signal glowing yellow jewel at the center of his head, and had carried a sword.

"Must you always complain, Jack Moon?" Sophia said to the now named Jack Moon, who growled in annoyance.

"What the hell? Who is that man?" Oka said.

"I might as well get you acquainted with one of our newest colleagues. This lovely swordsman you see here is Jack Moon. Both him and the demon spawns you see before you are part of our most recent acquaintances, the Demon Army Jamanga."

"Why Shouko? How could you side yourself with creatures like these? And you killed Potimas! Do you have any idea of what you've done?" Oka said angrily.

Sophia glared, "I'm quite certain I told you not to call me that." She angrily said to her former teacher. "And don't give me any nonsense about killing or joining any demon armies, it's played out. Especially considering everything that you've done. We're not in japan you have no status over me."

"Wait," Shun gasped, "that means you're a reincarnation?"

Oka then readied herself and prepared to attack Sophia.

"You want to fight me?" She said in a slightly joyful manner, "can't recommend it you know. See we were given explicit orders not to go after the little old teacher over there."

Oka then blasted Sophia with wind magic, but Sophia negated the attack. "But this is just self defense, I didn't WANT to fight did I so technically whatever happens next isn't my fault."

"So it looks like magic has no effect on her." Shun said.

The Jamanga grunts, called Tsukaima, charged and attacked the rest of the group. They were trying their best to fight them off. But from the dozens of Tsukaima, on top of the soldiers, they were overwhelmed and outnumbered.

"There's too many of them!" Leston said as he took one of the creatures out but was then immediately surrounded by more of them.

Oka continued her fight with Sophia, blasting wind magic at her, but Sophia negated all of her attacks and grabbed Oka by the throat, choking her.

"Teacher!" Shun shouted as he ran over to try and save her, only to be intercepted by Jack Moon.

"Get out of my way!" Shun shouted.

"If you wish to save your teacher, you will have to go through me first." He said as Shun readied his sword given to him by Leston. Jack Moon scoffed and did the same. "The hero title had been passed down to you after your brother died correct?" He questioned, "Hopefully you won't be as disappointing as he was when I fought him."

Shun widened his eyes and scowled at Jack Moon in anger. "What do you mean by that?" He said angrily, "were the one who killed him?!" He shouted angrily, everyone else widening their eyes in surprise.

"Normally I would let you believe what you wanted, but I'll inform you right now I was not responsible for the death of the former hero." Jack Moon said.

"You're lying!"

"It's the truth. Despite my appearance, I have standards on who I choose to fight and destroy. To me, the strong rule over everything. I refuse to destroy foes that are weaker than me for the simple reason that it is a waste of my time and energy. Since your brother was a so-called "hero", I had hoped that he would give me the challenge I had been looking for for so long. But unfortunately, that was simply not the case."

"What are you saying!? Are you implying that Julius was a weakling!?"

"Correct. If he was as strong as many claimed he was, he wouldn't have died so easily!"

Shun enraged by the slander against his brother charged towards Jack Moon and slashed him with his sword. Jack Moon, however, blocked his attack with ease.

"Pathetic!" Jack Moon said, kicking Shun away, sending Shun flying. Shun was able get back on his feet, but was immediately met with Jack Moon's sword. Shun managed the block it, but was pushed back by Jack Moon. They both slashed their swords at each other, Shun parrying as much as he could against Jack Moon's attacks. The two of their swords collided once again, struggling against each other. Shun tried to push Jack Moon back, but Jack Moon was stronger and had pushed Shun down so much that Shun had been forced go down on one knee. Jack Moon pulled his sword away from Shun, and kicked him in the chest, sending him tumbling across the ground.

"Shun!" Katia called out to her friend trying to get up, but was still too weak to do so.

Hyrince was able to take out some of the Tsukaima and was about to rush over to help Shun, but was immediately blocked and intercepted by more of them. Frustrated, he slashed at them, but while he was able to take some out more of them just kept appearing and attacked him, causing him to try and counter and block them with his shield.

Shun struggled to get back up on his feet as Jack Moon slowly walked to him. Shun was able to stand up, and blasted Jack Moon with his light magic.

"FULL MOON SLASH'' Jack Moon shouted as his sword glowed and he slashed his sword, sending a powerful blast that cut through Shun's attack and even headed straight for Shun, who was able to dodge out of the way in time. Shun looked back and his eyes widened in horror when he did so, and saw that most of the trees in the forest were cut to pieces.

"Weak…." Jack Moon said.

"What was that?" Shun said as he turned back to Jack Moon.

"….. much too weak. It seems just like your brother, I overestimated you." Jack Moon said with a disappointed sigh.

Shun scowled with anger as he got back up and rushed towards Jack Moon again and swung his sword, only for the attack to be countered, with Jack Moon kicking him back again. Shun slashed at him again, and again, and again, and again, but Jack Moon deflected every one of his attacks.

Jack Moon had finally had enough of Shun's pitiful attempts at attacking him, and simply backhanded Shun away, sending him tumbling to the ground once more.

"This is supposed to be the power of the Hero?" Jack Moon said walking towards Shun, who was trying to get up again. Jack Moon suddenly stopped walking towards him though. There was a long silence, with but the cool air passing by as Jack Moon stood there staring at Shun, while Shun looked at him nervously, sweat beating down his head wondering what Jack Moon was going to do. What had happened was something he hadn't expected though. Jack Moon simply turned his back to Shun, and began walking away from him, surprising Shun.

Sophia watched, still holding Oka in a choke hold, being sure to try and not strangle her too much.

"You're just gonna leave him now Jack Moon?" She said to him.

"Fangless weaklings…" Jack Moon began, "… have no right to fight me."

"Wait! Stop!" Shun shouted, still struggling to get back on his feet. He couldn't accept that Jack Moon considered him so weak, that he wasn't even worth fighting anymore. His pride wouldn't allow it.

Jack Moon stopped for a moment.

"You are nothing more than a brat." Jack Moon said, not even bothering to turn around and face Shun. "You have high spirit, I'll give you that. But as you are now, you are too weak to be my opponent. I had hoped that with your title, you would at least be worthy enough to be my rival. But it turns out I was wrong."

He turned his head to Sophia, "I'm leaving. You and the others can take care of the rest." he said as he started to walk away.

"Wait!" Shun shouted, but Jack Moon ignored him and continued walking. Shun was able to recover a bit using his healing magic and rushed towards Jack moon, but was intercepted by some Tsukaima, who began slashing at him, one of them even cutting his leg, causing him to collapse on the ground.

Sophia smiled and continued choking Oka.

"Are you ready to give up now?" she said in a sadistic tone.

Shun hissed in pain upon seeing the gash across his leg. He tried to use his healing magic, but saw that his MP gage was empty.

"What's the matter?" Anna said worryingly, "Has your healing magic run out?" Shun only responded by hissing from the pain.

"Shun you…" Katia said weakly.

The Tsukaima approached Shun, but all Shun could do was stare at Jack Moon as he walked away from the fight. Shun was angry. Not at Jack Moon, but at himself for not being strong enough to lay so much as a cut on him. He clutched the scarf around his neck that previously belonged to his brother.

"No.." he said angrily "I can't let it end this way." He said as one of the creatures was about the land a finishing blow to him.

But then, just as it seemed all hope was lost, something bright came flying towards Shun and the others. The Tsukaima stopped what it was doing at the last minute as the light hit the creature sending it flying towards Sophia, knocking her away and releasing Oka from her choke hold.

"Hm?" Jack Moon turned his head back to the battle field after hearing the noise.

Shun's eyes widened in shock at seeing the creature was sent flying.

"What was…?" He said in awe.

"Don't lose focus." a voice said suddenly.

Shun looked around. "What? Who said that?"

"Below you." The voice said again.

Shun looked down and saw a strange object by his foot. It resembled a very small sword almost, with a small blade sticking up on top. But what caught his eye the most was the dragon face at the center of it.

Shun leaned forward and picked it up. "Who are you?" He asked the object.

"I am.." it responded, "GekiRyuKen." The object said.

"Have I gone crazy?" Shun said in disbelief at an object like this talking to him.

"Explanations afterwards. Attach me to that sword, unsheathe me, and enter the key." It spoke again.

"What? What key?" Shun said.

"Do as I instruct. If you don't, you and your friends will die."

Sophia got up and pushed the Tsukaima off of her. "Well that was annoying." she said.

More Tsukaima began to surround Shun. "Damn" he said.

Suddenly, he felt his arm move on it's own. He struggled and tried to stop it, but it was too strong.

"You leave me no choice." the now named, GekiRyuKen, said "For now I am taking control over you."

"What?" Shun asked, but the object began to glow again as he held it out in front of him.

Jack Moon's curiosity started getting the better of him, and he turned back around towards the battle field again.

GekiRyuKen sent information into Shun's brain, and Shun picked up his sword and attached the object to it. He then held it by the hip and the sword transformed into something completely different. The blade was a bit smaller, but it was also much longer then before. The handle was much larger however, with two large gaps with the main handle in the middle. That's not all that happened though, as the blade began glowing. Shun slowly drew the sword up, then grabbed the main handle with one hand and put his other hand at the bottom of the sword, pushing the main handle up, causing the dragon head at the center to slide up, opening its "mouth", revealing some kind of hole underneath it.

Everyone else had stopped their fighting and watched in awe as they saw what was happening before them. Even the soldiers and the Tsukaima stopped their attacks on the group.

Shun then grabbed what he thought was a jewel around his neck that was given to him by his mother as a child as a present.

"RyuKen Key!" He shouted as a key piece snapped up from the jewel. Shun then inserted the key into the hole in the sword and turned it. He then brought the sword in front of him and shouted "Activate!" and slid the handle down, closing the dragon face's "mouth" and causing small wing-like appendages to pop out on the side of the blade.

CHANGE RYUKENDO

Shun then spread his arms out bringing them up.

GekiRyu Henshin

He said as he grabbed the swords and brought it down to him. The light from the sword grew brighter and then suddenly, a dragon came out of it and spun around him and flew up into the sky. Everyone looked up as it roared, and flew back down towards Shun. Shun then closed his eyes and spread his arms out as if to let the dragon go to him, as it went inside his chest.

Shun's whole body began to glow a bright blue and everyone shielded their eyes. Shun briefly winced in pain as light developed him. As he did though, armor began to form all around his body.

Once the light finally died down, everyone unshielded their eyes and saw what was once Shun standing before there, was something else entirely.

He was clad in a white and gold armor over a blue bodysuit. The upper torso of the armor had a white gem fitted in the center of the chest with strips of gold extending from four corners of the gem. The shoulder pads were diamond shaped and pointed upwards. The gauntlets had gold dragon heads above black armor as well as his boots. The helmet was white and gold, resembling two dragon faces roaring and inside was a dark blue visor with a strip of gold going down his face.

(Cue "Madan Senki RyuKendo" by Hiroshi Kitadani)

Everyone, even Sophia and Jack Moon to some extent, were stunned upon seeing Shun's transformation. It was like they were staring at a completely different person all together. But on the inside, it was still the same Shun they knew.

"Shun?" Anna and Katia said as they looked at the armored warrior before them.

"Born with the light, the dragon fang! Smashing demons in the darkness!" Shun said as he slowly drew the sword.

RyuKendo!

RAIJIN!

The now named RyuKendo said, striking a pose.

Anna smiled, but Katia silently laughed a bit. "Seriously dude trying to act all cool now?" She jokingly said.

Shun then turned his attention towards not just the Tsukaima, but also towards Sophia and Jack Moon. Sophia looked as though she was far from impressed. Jack Moon however, was much more curious about this development.

"Hey you!" He shouted, pointing his sword towards them. "Even if the gods of this world forgive you. I, RyuKendo, will not!" He shouted, readying his sword for battle.

The Tsukaima all rushed towards RyuKendo to surround him and began slashing at him. Ryukendo blocked one of the slashes with his sword and kicked the creature away. He deflected another attack sent his way and slashed at the creature sending it flying. He deflected another one and punched it away, another slashed at him and he ducked, kicking it in the gut, and slashed at it with his sword. After dealing with the group that attacked him, another group of Tsukaima ran towards him, with RyuKendo doing the same, slashing all of them with his sword causing them to tumble onto the ground.

The others watched the fight in awe, seeing the now transformed Shun take out the creatures with ease. This caused the moral of the enemy soldiers to dwindle, along with the Tsukaima. Finally using the distraction to their advantage, Leston, Hyrince, and even Ms. Oka attacked the enemy soldiers and Tsukaima, being able to take most of them out with ease.

The two cloaked figures who had tagged along Sophia decided to focus their efforts on RyuKendo. One of them had slashed her ring like weapons at RyuKendo as he was fighting the Tsukaima off, but was then intercepted by Ms. Oka, who used her wind magic to blow the female one away and fought the male one.

Jack Moon watched RyuKendo fight off the Tsukaima, beginning to feel slightly impressed by the new armored warrior.

"Starting to catch your eye now Jack Moon?" Sophia said in a teasing way.

"He is beginning to show potential. But I will be the judge if this new strength is any better."

Ryukendo slashed at more of the demon creatures, sending them tumbling to the ground, many of them disappearing after being slashed by his sword. He tripped one of them and slashed at it as it fell. He then punched another away causing it to disappear. More of them charged towards him, but the more they came charging towards him, the more he hacked and slashed them away. One of the Tsukaima tried to trip him, but he jumped into the air and slashed at it.

"Shun, I believe it's time that we ended this." GekiRyuKen said to RyuKendo.

"I couldn't agree more." Ryukendo said as he pulled out a key from a spinning device on his belt.

Final Key! Activate!

RyuKendo shouted as he inserted the key inside the sword.

FINAL BLADE

And then, with one huge slash across the battle field he was able to destroy every single one of the Tsukaima that was fighting him, amazing his friends and even Jack Moon to an extent.

(Song end)

As the dust settled they saw RyuKendo stand tall in a stoic manner with his sword in hand. Anna and Katia stared in awe at the display.

"Incredible" Anna said in amazement.

"That's Shun for ya" Katia said weekly, "he's full of surprises."

RyuKendo turned his head towards Sophia, readying his sword.

"Oh? So you want to fight me huh?"

RyuKendo said nothing and simply walked towards her.

"Alright, don't say I didn't warn you."

"Wait." Jack Moon intercepted. "I will fight him now."

"Oh? But didn't you say before that a fangless weakling isn't worthy of being your opponent?"

"I had already said before that I will be the judge of this newfound strength. I wish to see this new power. You take care of the others."

"Very well." Sophia said as she walked away from Jack Moon and RyuKendo.

"Wait! Get back here!" RyuKendo shouted but Jack Moon stood in his way again.

"You are fighting me now. Try not to disappoint me like you did before."

Jack Moon walked towards RyuKendo, readying his sword, RyuKendo doing the same as he groaned in frustration.

"En Garde!" Jack Moon shouted as they then rushed towards each other and clashed their swords together. They collided their swords together more until Jack Moon kicked RyuKendo in the chest, RyuKendo doing the same, sending them both stumbling back. Jack Moon ran towards RyuKendo and slashed at him, but RyuKendo ducked under the attack and slashed upwards sending Jack Moon back. Jack Moon hissed from the pain holding his chest from the cut. RyuKendo ruched towards him again sending more slashes towards Jack Moon, but Jack Moon deflected them and spun around RyuKendo, hitting him with the back of his sword. RyuKendo fell to the ground but front rolled back onto his and ran towards Jack Moon again sending more slashes, but Jack Moon dodged most of them. RyuKendo then thrusted his sword towards Jack Moon but he deflected it causing RyuKendo to spin. Using this to his advantage, RyuKendo used the spin to try and hit Jack Moon with the butt of his sword but Jack Moon blocked it with his elbow. The two stayed like that for a while, even slowly circling each other. Jack Moon pushed RyuKendo's arm away and slashed at RyuKendo's feet, but RyuKendo jumped away from the slash and they clashed their swords again and again.

The fights with the others was starting to go into their favor as Leston and Hyrince were able to take out many of the Tsukaima and enemy soldiers.

"Alright, we've taken care of things on our end, let's go help the others." Leston said

"Right." Hyrince agreed as they ran towards RyuKendo and Jack Moon. They were then intercepted by the female cloaked figure, who had recovered from being blasted by Ms. Oka, and attacked them both.

Ms. Oka was able to fight off the male cloaked figure, using her wind magic to blow him away. But her attack was negated by Sophia again.

"I'll deal with her, you take care of the other trash." She said, he nodded and ran towards Leston and Hyrince, Sophia and Ms. Oka continuing their fight from before.

Back with Leston and Hyrince, they continued to fight off the female cloaked assailant, Hyrince blocking her attacks with his shield. Leston tried to attack her as well, but was intercepted by the male cloaked figure. Leston grabbed one of the swords from a fallen soldier and used it to fight off his opponent.

Hyrince used his shield to push the female cloaked figure back, unintentionally sending her towards Anna and Katia. She looked at them then at Hyrince, then back to them and ran towards them readying her weapons. Hyrince, realizing his mistake, ran towards the two as well.

Anna and Katia gasped as the cloaked woman was about to slash at them both, Anna even attempting to use her body to shield Katia from the blow. Hyrince, however, made it just in time and blocked the attack with his shield.

"You two ok?" He asked.

"Yes we are. Thank you." Katia said weakly, still recovering from her injury.

Hyrince nodded and blocked more attacks sent to him from the cloaked woman.

Back with RyuKendo and Jack Moon, they had continued their fight deeper into the trees, clanging their swords together. Jack Moon kicked RyuKendo in the chest, sending him stumbling back towards a tree. He was able to recover, and slashed at Jack Moon feet, but Jack Moon jumped and flipped out of the way, with RyuKendo front rolling in the opposite direction. Jack Moon sent more slashes towards RyuKendo, but RyuKendo was able to block and deflect the slashes sent to him. Jack Moon slashed at him again, but RyuKendo ducked, and after Jack Moon sent another slash towards him, he jump flipped and bounced off a tree with his feet, sending a strong slash at Jack Moon's chest again, sending Jack Moon tumbling back towards a tree.

The two breathed heavily from the fight, still holding their swords up.

"You're…. Definitely a lot better than you were before…." Jack Moon said, panting slightly, but RyuKendo was more worn out than he was. "But…." He said as he ran towards RyuKendo again and slashed at him. RyuKendo, surprised at the sudden attack, dodged at the last second and slashed at Jack Moon again. Jack Moon deflected the attack with his sword and kicked RyuKendo, but RyuKendo flip jumped and used his feet to jet himself from the tree again to slash at Jack Moon like he did before. But suddenly, just as RyuKendo's sword was about to hit him, Jack Moon suddenly vanished.

"What!?" RyuKendo said as his sword hit the ground instead. He frantically looked everywhere around him, wondering where Jack Moon was. "Where the hell did he go!?"

"Look out! You're showing an opening!" GekiRyuKen shouted.

RyuKendo quickly looked behind and tried to block the attack, but it was too late as Jack Moon slashed across his chest, sending him crashing into some trees, even breaking most of them as they fell down to the ground. Luckily, RyuKendo wasn't in the way of the trees when they fell, but he was still injured from the attack and struggled to get up.

HALF MOON SLASH

RyuKendo was hit by the attack, sending him back towards another tree.

"Damn this guy.." RyuKendo said weakly, as he struggled to stand up. Jack Moon warped to him and kicked him in the chest causing him to fall again. RyuKendo struggled and fumbled trying to stand back up as Jack Moon walked slowly towards him. After RyuKendo got up, he slashed at Jack Moon, but Jack Moon parried the attack as they clashed their swords again. After RyuKendo tried slash at Jack Moon again, Jack Moon ducked and used the butt of his sword to hit RyuKendo in the gut. RyuKendo gasped from the pain but slashed at Jack Moon again, but Jack Moon blocked it and used his sword to spin RyuKendo around. RyuKendo was able to make it stop and attempted to slash at Jack Moon again, but Jack Moon kicked him in the gut again and then kicked his helmet, sending RyuKendo tumbling down a small hill. RyuKendo struggled to get back up again as Jack Moon jumped down the hill, getting near RyuKendo.

"You are starting to disappoint me again." He said. "Amuse me more!" He then kicked RyuKendo away, sending him out of the forest area and back to where the others were.

"Shun!" Anna shouted, seeing Ryukendo crash back onto the ground, both her and Katia watching worryingly. Leston, Hyrince, and Ms. Oka doing the same but continued to fight their opponents, unable to help their comrade at the moment.

RyuKendo tumbled across the ground until finally stopping. He struggled to get back up again.

"Damn it!" RyuKendo said angrily, punching the ground. "I thought this power would make me stronger but…!"

Jack Moon slowly walked towards him again. "As I said before. You had definitely fought better than before. You were even able to push me back despite your injuries." He gave slight praise towards RyuKendo. "But, your technique is still amateurish. As you are now, your swordsmanship is still lacking. But you have good spirit, I'll give you that much."

He continued to walk towards RyuKendo when was weakly trying to get up. But Jack Moon kicked his side, making RyuKendo fall on his back. RyuKendo tried to get up, but Jack Moon stomped his foot onto his chest to keep him down.

"This is my pity as a swordsman." Jack Moon said as he applied more pressure. Her then looked to the side, as if hearing something, but seemingly ignored it for now. "The least I can do is give you a warrior's death." RyuKendo's eyes widened the moment he heard that, as did everyone else.

"No! Shun!" Katia shouted trying to get up, but Anna held her back. "What are you doing!? I have to help Shun!"

"You're in no condition to fight right now!" Anna shouted back.

"But…!" Katia said as she looked at RyuKendo, being pressed down on the ground under Jack Moon's foot, Jack Moon himself raising his sword in the air, ready to strike down on the armored warrior.

Shun was angry at himself again. Despite everything he had done, despite aging this new power. It still wasn't enough. No matter what, he was still no match for Jack Moon.

'Damn it' he cursed to himself. 'I'm sorry Julius. I guess I wasn't ready to take on the mantle of the hero. I know you're probably disappointed in me, but on the bright side. At least you won't be alone in heaven.' Shun then closed his eyes, ready to accept his fate.

The others looked in shock and horror as Jack Moon brought his sword down.

But then, just as the sword was bout to reach his head, a feathered dragon came flying in out of nowhere and fired a beam straight towards Jack Moon. Jack Moon immediately dodged out of the way, taking his foot off of RyuKendo.

The dragon then blasted the cloaked figures, who moved out of the way, then at the remaining soldiers, and knocked Sophia away from Ms. Oka.

RyuKendo opened his eyes and immediately got back up, as the dragon landed near him.

"Fei?" He said in disbelief.

"A hero has to show up just in the nick of time right?" The dragon, now named Fei, said. She then looked at the armored man in confusion. "Wait, Shun? Is that really you? Why do you look like that?"

"I could ask you the same thing! You.. you're a… and wings."

"Oh, I just woke up like this. So honestly, I'm not too sure what the deal is. But, you're in trouble right?"

Shun smiled under the helmet. "We were, but you saved us."

"Shun!" He heard a voice and turned around to see Hyrince carrying Ms. Oka, and Anna holding onto Matia, as well as Leston, all running towards him. "Get on the dragon and get out of here!"

"R-right!" The others managed to get on the dragon. RyuKenDo was about to do the same but then.

"RyuKenDo!" Shun heard a familiar voice and turned around, when he did two objects were thrown at him and he caught them. He opened his hand to see two blue jewels.

"What are..?"

Those are Madan keys. The ones you are holding in particular are the aqua key and the shark key. It will help us get stronger.

"But who would…?" RyuKenDo looked up and saw that Jack Moon had been the one who threw them.

"My gratitude for our fight." He said.

RyuKenDo looked at him with confusion.

Sophia then ran towards the group. "You really think I'm going to let you all escape!?"

"No, not that it's up to you." Fei said as she readied an attack, and fired it at Sophia.

Sophia blocked it, and when the attack ended, and the light dimmed, Fei had grabbed on to RyuKenDo and flew away from the battle field.

As Fei flew, Leston and RyuKenDo were now on her back. RyuKenDo looked back towards the battle field, then back at the castle.

He then gritted his teeth in frustration. "This is a nightmare, why is all this happening?"

I am not sure as to why this had all happened to you.

RyuKenDo looked at GekiRyKen.

But whatever it is, we're in this together. Isn't that right, partner?

RyuKenDo nodded slightly, still shaken up by all that's happened. "Yeah…." His spirit then lifted a little replied back, "Partner."

He then looked back at the battlefield. 'Jack Moon. I don't know why you gave me these keys, but this doesn't change anything between us. When we meet again, I WILL defeat you.'

Back with Sophia and Jack Moon.

Sophia sat on one of the fallen trees from Jack Moon and RyuKenDo's fight, talking to someone telepathically, with Potimas' severed head under her foot. After finishing her call, Jack Moon walked next to her.

"What did the Demon Lord want?" He asked.

"Oh she was just asking how things went. Nothing much." She replied. "More importantly though." She looked back at Jack Moon "You weren't really going to kill him were you? I don't think I need to remind you that we need him and the others alive."

"No. I had already known the dragon would show up. I was only bluffing." Jack Moon responded.

"I see. And I'm guessing the reason why you gave him those keys was because of that "swordsman ethics" again?" Sophia said teasingly.

Jack Moon looked up at the sky. "RyuKenDo will become stronger and stronger. When he has become a full fledged swordsman…" He said, lifting his sword up. He then spun around and sliced a bolder clean in half. The rock formation fell and broke into pieces upon impact.

"I will bring him down."

END

And that's that. Bet you all weren't expecting that I would make Shun of all people into Ryukendo now did you. This was originally just me being cynical and wanting to piss off fans since I know a lot of people really hate Shun, but honestly I got more into the idea and decided to write this down. I'll admit, it is very sloppy in a lot of areas, and you can really tell what parts I was more interested in writing. But eh, what can you do?

As for my opinions on both shows.

RyuKenDo is an obscure tokusatsu show I feel really needs a lot more attention than it gets. It has gotten a cult following and there are some fans of the show. But it's still sad that it wasn't able to be as memorable as Super Sentai, Garo, or Kamen Rider or what have you. It's a shame too because I really liked this. Granted it's the usual "episodic monster of the week" formula and it's much more light hearted and comedic compared to other toku shows. But I still feel this is a show worth checking out.

As for So I'm a Spider, So What?…. You're all gonna kill me for this, but if I'm being honest I personally preferred the human story over the spider's story. (Hears an assortment of boos headed my way) yeah I knew I'd get that reaction. Frankly I just felt that the Human story was a lot more engaging and suspenseful compared to what the spider was up to. Which is weird cuz I thought I would love the spider's story allot more, given how much I really enjoy underdog stories and Kumoko herself was really likable and the premise was allot similar to That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, which is a show I really liked…. Until I got spoiled on who and what Kumoko becomes later on as well as her future actions and I skipped her scenes all together. Very shallow of me I know but I really wasn't a fan of the stuff she does later on and I REALLy didn't like the twist that was revealed about her. For those who read the light novels and know what I'm talking about, you get it. I also really didn't like that her story took place 15 years before the human story. I was really hoping that there would be a point where the human characters would run into her thinking she was a monster or something, but no that never happens sadly. So we're basically waiting until Kumoko plays catch up with the other human characters. Basically what I'm saying is I much preferred the story about an isekai prince dude clearing his name after he was framed for killing his dad and fighting demons, over a story about a spider dicking around in a cave. If the show had just been about Kumoko getting by as a spider, and we didn't have all the demon stuff I probably would've enjoyed her story more. Instead it feels like the creators were confused on what story they wanted to tell. What didn't help this show either, which was a major disappointment for me, was the animation. There's no going around it, the animation was just awful. And the CGI…. Oh god. Granted Kumoko herself doesn't look too bad, and some of the CGI was pretty good in the first episode….. but man as the show went on did it get worse. The monsters in concept look good, but the problem is that they aren't integrated into the show in a convincing way and it just looks incredibly off. This show was made by the same studio that made the 2016 Berserk anime, and boy does it REALLY show. So yeah, overall the show is just a mixed bag for me. I greatly preferred the human stuff more than I thought i would, and while I didn't outright hate Kumoko's story, I would've liked it allot more if it was just about her being a reincarnated spider instead of it being revealed that (feed has been cut off due to spoiler reasons). Will give it this though, the first opening, Weaving your Spider Way" really slaps.

Wow this went from me writing a fanfic to me ranting about an anime for 10 minutes. Ah well what do you expect? I'm writing this in 3:00 in the morning and I'm really tired, and I'm trying to go to bed.

All I'll say now is, this is a one shot for now but if I feel like it I'll make it into a full story.

Ok that's all I gotta say goodnight everybody! (immediately falls asleep in bed).
