Dean grinned at the rest of the players at the table. "Not bad for a kid from Kansas, huh?"

"I'll say," the big Texan across from him replied. "You gonna keep goin'?"

Dean snorted. "Damned straight." His attention was caught by the backside of a passing waitress. His eyes followed her until she was out of sight and when he turned back to the table, he said, "Until I have something better to do."

The Texan gave a raucous shout of laughter. "Then you'll be out of here like a bat outta hell!"

Dean picked up the dice. "Damned right."
