The Team Unites

"Have you seen Mike?" Ji asked the two of us. Jayden and I were in the lounge room, just chilling. I was lying on Jayden's side, fidgeting with my bracelet, having small conversations with him.

"No." I answered, slightly confused.

"What's going on?" Jayden questioned.

"No one has seen him since practice this morning." Earlier today, during practice, Jayden was teaching Mike that he shouldn't be distracted and sensing an attack. He was using Kevin as an example, which went really well, except the fact that Mike got jealous, and left.

"Where would he have gone?"

"Maybe to hang out with his old buddies, Mike told me about how he would play video games with them. Just give him some time to catch up with them." I said. Ji left to do other things, and Jayden glared at me. "Oh don't get jealous that I have friends."

"It's not that, just how do you know that much about him?"

"We talk, like friends do." I glared at him.

"Alright, jeez. No need to get so furious."

"I can kick you out of my room." I threatened

"You wouldn't."

"Oh I would."

"You alright?" I asked Jayden, lifting him up off the ground. The gap sensor rang off earlier, and we ran to the location, where we saw Mike getting beat up by the nightlock. Jayden tried to get a hit in, which he did, yet he flew in the air, landing hard on the ground. The Nightlock had huge arms that could extend over a thousand feet and it could go underground, which made it hard to sense when he would attack.

"Yeah. Let's take this creep." Jayden ordered.

"Uh oh, looks like I'm starting to dry up. Guess I'd better punch out for now. Later, Rangers." The Nightlock disappeared back into the underworld.

"Thank goodness you were there, you prevented the nightlock from injuring a lot of people." Ji sighed. We were back at the Shiba house, and I was wrapping Mike's back, which got hurt from the attack.

"We came as soon as we heard." Jayden replied.

"I thought I could take him alone." Mike admitted. I smacked the back of his head.

"That was brave of you, but imagine what could have happened." Kevin politely scolded.

"I know." Mike nodded as I finished up with the bandages.

"Mike, being a Samurai is the ultimate sacrifice. Since we are fighting evil, you must stay away from your family and friends in order to keep them safe." Jayden warned.

"Yeah, I realize that now, but I gotta go and check on my friends." Mike stood up, put on his shirt, and walked away.

...

"So where's your Green Ranger buddy?" The Nightlock asked, once he saw us Rangers. Unfortunately, he decided to come back later that day. It had to put our end to mine and Jayden's cuddling session. "Now that it's crunch time, broccoli boy went bye-bye."
"Hey! You looking for me?!" I turned around to see Mike running towards us. He was in his green suit and everything.

"Mike! You're back!" Emily exclaimed.

"Stay back, I'm going to take this Nightlock down myself." Mike ordered.

"What? You can't do that." Kevin argued.

"I'm going to try." Mike ran towards the Nightlock, as the rest of us went to fight the Moogers.

"Spin Sword, Dark Gust." I spun my disk on my sword, creating a dark vast air, and slashed it towards the on coming moogers. Once I turned around, I saw Mike taking care of the Nightlock, beating him to dust. I ran over there, along with the others.

"You were amazing!" Emily complimented.

"I guess you did okay." Kevin mumbled. I smacked on the back of his head.

"Be nice." I scolded.

"Hey!" Mike yelled.

"Time for round two. He's coming back as a Megazord." Jayden warned. Turned out he was right, as the Nightlock grew larger in size.

"Let me try and take this knuckle-head down myself." Mike's Bear Folding Zord appeared, and he hopped into it. I watched Mike try and take down the Nightlock, and it wasn't working.

"He shouldn't be doing this by himself." Kevin complained.

"Come on, let's help him then." I ordered, as I got out my Folding Zord and placed it on the ground. I pulled out my Morpher, drawing the symbol on top of it. "Jaguar Folding Zord. Mega Mode Power!" I yelled. I reappeared inside of my Folding Zord. I insisted my sword into the slot in front of me and placed the disk in it's correct spot. Once I looked up, I saw Mike's Folding Zord flying in the air. I, along with the others, flew up to catch him.

"Thanks for having my back guys." Mike stated.

"That's what we do, dimwit." I replied, smirking.

"Rangers, we need to combine now." Jayden did his symbol, and we all combined.

"Samurai Megazords, we are united!" We all yelled.

"I've taken this on this Nightlock as far as I can on my own. Let's finish this off together." Mike said, as we all nodded.

"Here's the attack." Jayden warned, and Emily brought up the shield to defend it.

"You look mega-hungry for a big time battle, so have a punchy portion of my tasty titanic trick." The Nightlock taunted. We were all confused, shocked, and scared.

"Just follow my lead." Jayden ordered. We powered down the Megazord and waited.

"Jayden, what's up? We aren't just going to stand here and wait, are we?" Mike asked.

"Just use your instincts to sense his attack." Jayden said.

"Are you sure?" Mike questioned.

"If we concentrate hard enough, we will be able to read his next move."

"I'm with ya."
"Okay, just focus." Jayden ordered. I closed my eyes and thought hard.

"Now!" We all yelled. We moved out of the way, causing the Nightlock's huge arms to tangle itself up. We all cheered.

"Let's finish this." Jayden said. I took out my sword, pulled on it's lever, and slashed it at the Nightlock, causing him to finally shred to pieces.

"Good work Mike!" Jayden complimented, leading a string of more compliments to come out of our mouths as we walked inside the Shiba House, taking our seats in the Lounge area.

"Truth is, I did trick him, but it wasn't enough. Actually, it was Jayden who helped me defeat him." Mike admitted. "I only anticipated the attack of one of his arms, Jayden got the other one. I couldn't have done it without him." I wrapped my arm around Jayden's shoulders and smiled.

"We could do anything as a team." Jayden said, putting his hand out. We piled our hands on top of his and smiled.

"Rangers together, Samurai forever!"
