No one's pov
The next Monday came faster than anyone expected. Each student had been paired to another.
"Dammit..." Dick muttered as he looked at who he's paired with. Elliot looked over Dicks shoulder, "Ohoho~"
Peter smirked, "Good luck..."
"Who are you paired with?" Elliot asked as he turned his head to look at Peter.
He sighed, "Angel..."
Elliot and Dick snorted. "Dude!"
"You'll be fighting at daylight,... Seem like youre the one who needs luck"
"Fuck off" Peter said as he hit Elliot at the back of his head.
The boys walked towards the school ground where the practice battle would happen. After a few minutes, the emcee announced the battle to start.
First off was Elliot vs Rachel.
"You kids know the rules!" the emcee announced, "First one to exit the ring, or surrenders loses. Also, no. Killing. Allowed."
"Dammit..." Peter muttered when he heard the last part.
Rachel started blasting dark energy at Elliot who easily dodged it. He teleported behind her and tapped on her shoulder. Rachel turned around, no one, she turned again, no one.
Before she knew it, she was surrounded by a mist caused by the dirt around them. Elliot had used his foot to spread the dust and create a cloud like form to surround them.
"Tsk, typical Elliot, only works when the enemy is blind," Dick smirked as Peter crossed his arms, clearly deep in thought.
Elliot continues to circle around Rachel as she looks at all directions. Elliot jumped from his spot, but Rachel, who had quick reflexes, used her dark aura to knock him back. He was inches away from the line, much to Rachel's disappointment. He disappeared from his place again, but Rachel knowing where he would teleported, created a portal which made him fall outside the ring.
The bell rang, she won the round. Elliot sulked back to his seat and sat back down.
"Why did I have to be paired with the strongest person in here?" he complained as he leaned his head back.
Peter snorted, "Weak."
"Shut your 'I simp for Kay' ass" Elliot pouted.
"Who's Kay?"
"That anime girl he simps for."
"Shut you bisexual ass," Peter snapped as he stood up. He walked out, into the ring.
"Heyy Silas," Angel winked teasingly.
Peter crossed his arms, towering over her with his height, "Heyy, Bitch" he replied as teasingly as her.
Angel huffed, the bell rang.
Angel expanded her wings and proceeded attacking, only to miss as he teleported out of the way every time. She felt the ground underneath her open as a portal appeared from beneath. She quickly flew up and glared at him.
"I bet 50 bucks this match will end in less than 2 minutes," Garfield whispered to Victor.
"That long? He's finish Angel in less than 50 seconds!" Victor whispered back.
"I still think he might take long, I mean, isn't broad daylight kinda his weakness?" Garfield asked, well known to him and to everyone else that Silas Peter's strength is darkness, the darker the environment, the stronger he is.
"I mean, you saw Rachel right? How she easily finished Elliot?" Victor said. Garfield looked at him, confused, "Why you bringing Rachel and Elliot to the topic?"
"If Rachel's a Raven, he's the crow, those two are practically siblings!"
"But I thought Elliot and Peter were the ones related,... Aren't they cousins?"
Before Victor could reply anything, the bell rang. 29 seconds.
"Bruh-..." some students manage to say. While Dick and Elliot were at the edge of their seats smirking. Angel stood outside the ring, some feathers were messes up and smoking.
"The only rule was to not kill anyone..." Peter said, suddenly in the seat.
"So you burned her wings..." Elliot faceplamed. Dick groaned, "She's a girl, and you didn't even hold back..."
"Hey, if I didn't hold back, she'd be dead." Peter said as he pouted.
"Still, you didn't have to burn her wings!"
"I didn't burn them, I electrocuted them," he replied in a as-a-matter-of-fact tone.
Their stupid bickering continues, not even noticing Dick walk out to the ring, facing the red haired girl. He pulled out his bo staff as her eyes and hands started glowing green.
She started shooting at him, with him dodging all the attacks. It took a while, but he finally was able to get close enough to tackle her to the ground. She pushed him off and threw him off, but he stopped himself from exiting by using the bo staff to punch him away.
Dick was distracted the whole match. He can't help but look at her as her hair flipped when she turned to look at him. How pretty her eyes were when she looked at him. How her body shined in the daylight. And how beautiful she was.
It took a while, but the red headed girl managed to throw him off the court.
Everyone was at the edge of their chair, even the teachers.
"Well shit..." Victor and Garfield muttered at the same time.
Elliot and Silas stood up from their seats as they tried to get a closer look. Yep, they weren't mistaken.
Dick was standing alright, but the impact caused his nose to break. I mean, who's nose wouldn't break after their face got slammed to the concrete floor?
