Hello, just wanted to post this story after seeing a fanart of the FSN cast as actors in a tweet. I hope you enjoy even if it's a bit bad.
Host: Good evening to all of *City-Name* and welcome to the ***** show, I am your host, ********. The event that we have today is a very special one as we are about to explore the exciting world of the new hit series novel named "Fate/Stay Night." The Series will air on October 4 20** please look forward to it.
Host: Tonight's guests with me are the four main leads of this series along with very, very intricate supporting characters but before they come in and sit with us today, why don't we first watch the trailer shall we?
Says as the Host gestures an open hand facing the camera.
-The screen plays a short trailer of the first route, Stay Night-
Host: And we're back. How do you like it? Isn't it exciting?
The host chuckles as the audience chuckle in response.
Host: But enough about the trailer, we're here to meet the actors of this series. So give a round of applause to our guests for tonight. Please welcome, *says the name of the actors*!
-Actors comes in to take a seat-
The camera pans out to the other side of the host's, seven actors walk out from the door, three men and four women.
The first man leading the group was a young actor with auburn hair, golden-brown colored eyes behind his black glasses, and wearing a blue long-sleeve polo shirt and jeans. His cheerful smile and elevates the joyous mood of the audience, making them cheer for the actors with thunderous applause.
The second was a young beautiful woman with light blond hair and green eyes. As she follows the first guest, all attention went to her clothes as it further emphasizes her small but elegant nature. She is wearing a white blouse with holes in both shoulders and a lapis-blue cowl skirt. She walked with elegance partnered with a sweet smile as she looks around the room.
She was then followed after by two women holding hands and giggling like a pair of children. The two women wore the same black turtle-neck shirt and sweaters draping from their shoulders. The only difference between the two was the colors of those sweaters and the length of their skirts, while one wore cherry-red and a short skirt the other wore a lighter shade of purple partnered with a long skirt. The red one has short black hair that reaches to her shoulders while the other was braided with a small red ribbon.
What came after those two, was a child with two men walking beside her acting like bodyguards. The girl was wearing a white one-piece dress with a belt around her waist, long straight white hair with a beret resting on top. She, with confidence, stride across the room with a smile on her face as she waves to the audience.
The two bodyguards, however, were relaxed, waving at the audience as they walk with the girl. The first bodyguard has grayish hair and lightly tanned skin wearing a red turtleneck sweater and black jeans. The other one, however, wore a full suit and tie.
The actors stop and shake the host's hand before taking a seat to their desired spots. The four girls sat together on a couch while the three men sat behind them on tall chairs facing both the Host and the audience.
Host: Welcome, welcome everybody I hope you have a fantastic evening. It's great to have you here at the ***** show. I am honored to meet you and I hope we have a great time!
Some of the actors smiled while some giggled.
Actors: Thank you for having us Host and to you too.
Host: Right before we start our lovely evening shall we introduce ourselves to the audience, a short summary I suppose? I mean, I don't but if they want to hear me proudly introduce myself again then I'll be delighted to. *laughs*
The audience chuckles at the small joke
Host: Let's start with you the actor for Shirou Emiya
Shirou: Thank you Host. Hello everyone my name is ********* and I play the main protagonist, Emiya Shirou from Fate/Stay Night. A high school student who dreams of becoming a hero of justice like his father. This is actually the first time I've been in a talk show not wearing my favorite jacket and man it's a bit chilly here.
Host: well, it is hot outside during this season and you can never be too careless wearing thin clothing.
Shirou: I get that, actually a staff offered me a jacket a while ago but I wanted my appearance to look a bit cooler in front of the audience but I'm actually getting cold. *laughs*
The blond-haired girl giggles at his corny joke while the others snickered
Host: *laughs* let's see, how about you? The girl who giggled at his gag, why don't you introduce yourself next?
The girl continues to giggle as she looks at the host
Saber: Yes. Hello everyone I am ********* and I play one of the main heroines, Saber from Fate/Stay Night. I am glad to be here with you all today and I actually saw how that event happened while I was eating some chips. He was so adamant about declining the offer from the staff that it's funny seeing the consequences. *giggles*
Host: that I can see. Can you tell us more about your character before we move on?
Saber: oh right, I am Emiya Shirou's servant that's summoned for the upcoming event in the series. Now I won't be telling you the real name of the character as knowing the name will also give out their weaknesses. You could say that I am a knight in shining armor. *giggles*
Host: I can't wait to find that out! Let's see, how about you two? The ones with the same shirt.
Rin: Well then I'll start first. Good evening everyone, I am ********* and I play one of the main heroines and masters of the Holy Grail War in the series, Tohsaka Rin.
The actor of Tohsaka Rin continues to introduce herself but now with attitude
Rin: An elegant and dazzling model student who knows German with a bit of sas and a straightforward personality. *pfft* Just kidding, nice to meet you.
The host laughs at how she introduced herself in a seductive like manner, only for her to laugh and brush it off with that last line. Rin then looks at the girl beside her and smiles, hinting that she was finished and it was her turn to introduce herself.
Sakura: ah it's my turn now? Ok. Good evening everyone my name is ********* and I also play one of the three main heroines of the series Fate/Stay Night, Matou Sakura.
The actor of Sakura nervously introduces herself before glancing at Shirou and giggling.
Sakura: Sakura is a year below Shirou's current grade in high school. She's one of Shirou's dearest friends who often visit his house to cook and eat with his guardian.
Host: oh? Does Sakura often visit? Why is that?
Sakura: Yes, she often visits. The reason… is a secret for now but honestly, if a girl keeps visiting a guy's house to cook and eat together with him and not get the "hints" that she's giving then that guy is denser than a rock you know. *laughs*
Everyone laughs at the jokingly snide comment that she made and the hosts responded.
Host: *laughs* well that's is going to take some time to float on water. Then let's choose you next.
The host looks at the child with a smile.
Illya: Hello, I am ********* and I play as Illyas… Illyasviel Von Einzbern. I am one of the masters that are participating in the Fate/Stay Night series. In the series, my character likes to wear purple and thick clothing because she comes from Germany.
The audience was awestruck as Illya fumbles to pronounce her name a little.
Host: are you nervous?
Illya: very. This is my first talk show so I have to do my best to look great.
The actor of Illya replies as she pumps her fists together
Host: Well, you look the part and you just captured my audience's heart already. *laughs* Let's proceed to the next two handsome gentlemen here, who's willing to go first?
The two look at each other and proceed to play rock-paper-scissors. The tanned skin man lost while the other gloats his victory by putting his hands up and facing the audience, making them laugh as it further improves their moods.
Archer: I lost. *giggles* Good evening everyone, I am ********* and I play Archer, one of the servants fighting in the holy grail war. Archer is a very tactical and snarky man who often teases his master Rin when he has a chance.
Host: *laughs* I can somehow see that; can you tell us a little bit more about your character?
Archer: well, he has amazing abs and muscles that I am now very proud to work for.
The actor of Archer comments about his appearances in the series that made some of the audience laugh while others swooned or whistled.
Host: I have seen one of the promotional arts for the series and even I can swoon over it.
Archer: thank you very much. *laughs at his reply*
Host: And finally, the last but certainly not the least. We have *********, please introduce yourself.
Kirei: Hello and good evening everyone, I am ********* and I play as Kotomine Kirei. He is a weird priest that hangs around in the middle of nowhere. Kirei is the Overseer who manages the Holy Grail War because only a priest can handle a religious Christian object. *laughs*
The audience and host continue to laugh at his introduction.
Kirei: ah Kirei also has a weird obsession with Mapo Tofu for some reason. Nice to meet you
Host: Nice to meet you, everyone. Now that we have introduced all of the guests we'll now take a short break and watch another trailer of the series, Fate/Stay Night. Please Enjoy.
-The screen plays a short trailer of the second route, Unlimited Blade Works-
Host: And we're back. Welcome back everyone and the first question I have to offer is, how many of you watched the trailers of the series yet?
All of the guest actors raise their hands but Kirei shows a frown.
Host: oh Kirei what's wrong?
Kirei: I love watching all of the trailers but they could've added more scenes of me.
The actor of Kirei replies
Host: that's kind of weird now that you think about it, do you have any idea?
Kirei: Oh I do and I can understand the, it's a bit of a thing where I can't say why. But I am jealous of the other's screen time.
Archer: So far, most of the trailers are fantastic but I'm also rarely shown in any of the other trailers other than [Unlimited Blade Works] route. It really fascinates me how the author and director were adamant in that direction.
Host: So it's mostly spoilers then? *laughs*
The host asks but both Kirei and Archer shrug it both off.
Host: How about the novels, out of all of the other actors, who have read and finished the novel so far?
Out of all of the guest actors, only Shirou and Saber raised their hands
Host: Really? Only two of you have finished the novels?
Saber: I have read all of it and it is longer than the script we were given. It's an amazing series, all in all, I even bought the whole set.
Shirou: I had to read it because of my role. And truth be told I bought all of the copies because it was just that good.
Host: What about the others, have any of you decided to read the novels yourselves?
Kirei: I have read Stay Night so far but since I've been so busy I haven't had time to read it myself.
Illya: I have school and I use my free time to either study or play with my friends, but my parents have read it and they said it was good but not for kids my age.
Host: Kids not your age? What do you mean?
Archer: I can answer that, I have almost finished the [Heaven's Feel] book and there are some explicit scenes that kids shouldn't read. Most of Illya's scenes, of course, don't involve those kinds of scenes so filming with her is safe.
Host: That is good then, I was very surprised with what she said, I mean, I have the books here but I haven't started reading yet.
The Host laughs at his own comment while the audience giggled
Host: how about you Rin and Sakura? Any plans on reading the novel?
Sakura: I'm in the same boat as Archer actually but I haven't had time to read the last novel lately due to my scheduling.
Rin: oh I don't like to read, not because I don't like the series or anything I do have the books. Novels or E-Books are not really my thing. But if I ever get bored or have some free time I might start sooner or later. Ah, but I will definitely watch it live on television so I don't have to spoil myself after I read the books.
Host: So you're going in blind then?
The actor of Rin nodded at his reply with a smile on her face
Host: speaking of spoilers, however, Illya, can you tell me how your side was handled? Rumor has it that you, your manager, and your parents were attending a meeting with regards to your habits of "letting it slip" especially to some of your close friends in school.
Illya: it is a bit uhh… a bit embarrassing to say the least. My parents actually convinced some of my friends to stop me from spoiling any of the plots for the series, *giggles* some of them are actually stopping other people from approaching for it. Although my manager does allow me to post on social media from time to time, I'm only allowed to post photos that I've taken and uhh… my manager still checks it for me before I post it.
Host: that is pretty strict on you isn't it, have you encountered any problems so far?
Illya: none so far. Ah, but I sometimes do get bribes like ice cream and candy from my friends in order for me to spill some beans but they just tend to forget about it after we uhh… hang out and play at my house most of the time.
Rin: honestly, I'm more worried about Shirou and Saber. Especially Shirou, they tend to be talkative when they're with their peers you know.
Saber: I'm not that chatty.
Saber replies with a cute scowl on her face.
Shirou: Ok but, but I'm not that easily cracked you know.
Sakura: didn't you spoil some info last two interviews ago? You were with Saber and Archer at that time.
Archer: I'm the one who covered his mouth so it wasn't really a big deal.
Host: so out of everyone here, Shirou is the most dangerous one then?
All of the guest actors, except for Shirou, nodded and laughed at the host's comment
Host: So far from the trailers I can see some amazing-looking sets and costumes.
Saber: I agree; I'm amazed by how beautiful it looks. Even the costumes and settings match the themes of the story.
Rin: Yeah you were definitely rocking that armor.
Host: Did some of you manage to try on other actors' costumes?
Rin: Saber's armor almost fits me perfectly.
Sakura: *laughs* it's actually a bit tight for me so I only managed to wear Kirei's priest outfit, it was a bit lose.
Saber: was that a jab at my chest? *laughs*
The actor of Saber asks for the actor of Sakura to reply and hug Saber
Sakura: Yeah, a little bit~ *laughs*
Some of the audience laughed while others giggled at how playful Sakura is acting
Host: how about you Shirou? Have you tried any of the other costumes?
Shirou: why yes actually, just a few days ago after shooting an episode, I was allowed to wear Archer's costume after begging the staff and director for it. It definitely emphasized Archer's muscles I can tell you that, it was bigger to me you know. *laughs*
Shirou: I also did try Saber's armor.
Host: doesn't it have a dress inside?
Shirou: oh no I didn't wear the dress, only the metal-looking parts. It was actually really fun; we even took some pictures with it.
Host: I have seen those photos on social media, you were posing really well with other actors, servants I believe?
Shirou: Yes, the ones with the crazier costumes are indeed the servants. It is really a big production with amazing staff.
Host: I can see that, from what I've heard and read. Shirou has more lines than most of the other actors combined is that true?
Shirou: those are just rumors. The script might be really big but my character Shirou doesn't have more lines than the other actors combined.
Sakura: I might have been the source of those rumors.
Host: really, how did that kind of rumor start?
Rin: Saber, Sakura, and I were actually joking about the big the script is and the actor that plays Shinji managed to hear that conversation after filming his scene.
Sakura: he actually tweeted about it if I recall then tagged us three together. *laughs*
Archer: I saw that post; it was amusing seeing the comments popup one after another.
Illya: I remember that time, Shinji even bought us doughnuts and snacks as an apology. I also took a picture of that event, my mama posted it for me since it was a policy for me.
-Screen shows a picture of the said tweet-
Host: Wow that is a great picture.
Illya: yup, I practiced a lot!
The actor of Illya proudly replied from the Host's praise.
Host: Speaking of Shinji, looking at these trailers I can see that he's kind of a bad person. Is he one of the antagonists in the series? I'm amazed ********* can play such a villainous character, the lines given to him are really good and his acting is no joke.
Sakura: *laughs* he's a great actor and the way he delivers his lines is fantastic sometimes it frightens me but that's all it is. He's a really nice guy and often apologizes after filming something "bad" but overall, he'll often come with gifts and food for the staff.
Host: That sounds great but I heard something "bad" is there a way you can elaborate that?
Sakura: There was that one time he actually slapped me but that was actually my fault since I moved too close. He was bowing and saying sorry a number of times after filming that scene it was pretty cute.
Rin: I remember him offering a revenge slap but you punched him in the shoulder instead.
Sakura: that felt good too.
Host: that sounds rather scary isn't it?
Sakura: Oh it was no big deal. That slap scene was actually one of the best scenes that I could film in this big production, I swear this script is really detailed on every action given.
Host: Was the script really that big?
The hosts ask the guest actors only for Saber to reply
Saber: It almost looked as thick as an oxford dictionary or more. Well, I'm kind of exaggerating but from what the author told us, it contains at least around 900 thousand words. It really surprised me.
Host: I am amazed you guys even managed to memorize that thick of a script.
Saber: It was really fun, there were some scenes where other actors forgot their lines and we had to retake a lot of those scenes because of it. I was one of those! *laughs*
The audience laughs at her declaration.
Kirei: It was a common occurrence, most of the actors who play the servants have these accents that they had to follow since they're heroes from a different time.
Both the actors of Archer and Saber nod at his comment.
Host: So Archer and Saber had to learn their heroes' specific accent?
Saber: We didn't just learn their accents, we also had to learn some martial arts but our stuntman has that covered.
Host: oh? Even martial arts?
Archer: Most of us actually were asked to learn some before we started filming, we have to be "physically fit" after all. Shirou and I had to learn Kyudo or Japanese Archery, well, I also had to learn different types of martial arts relating to archery. Compared to Shirou, I'm barely average even though I'm "Archer." *snickers*
Shirou: Still, our stunt double mostly took our spots in some important fight scenes.
Kirei: My training actually advised me to train more a bit at home and involve some yoga, so that was an experience. My son and daughter started copying me thinking that it was some kind of exercise which it kind of was.
Host: So you got your children into martial arts then?
Kirei: yes, however, I had to explain to my wife why one of her vases broke down when my son asked me to perform a high kind of kick.
Host: I assume that your wife got mad?
Kirei: well I had to lie about it till now cause she might be watching. I did buy my children some ice cream. *laughs*
Sakura: ah, bribing is bad you know.
Rin: as long as he treats all of us for some food maybe we'll ask the staff here to cut this part out. *laughs*
Host: I see, and since Saber is a sword wielder does that mean you also learned some swordsmanship?
The actor of Saber nods and replies
Saber: I actually managed to hold a real two-handed sword while I was training and it was really heavy. I could barely hold it. My teacher taught me some basic forms, as well as some poses that would look good on camera but fighting and moving, were very tiring for me. As you can see, my build is fairly small.
Host: since currently talking about your characters let's change the topic to the story. What are your thoughts about it?
Kirei: oh it is brilliant. The story was profoundly detailed, to the character's expressions and everyday lives. Even their struggles were thoroughly explored.
Archer: I like the themes and message that it was giving too, although I haven't seen the full script yet, reading through the pages always fascinates me on what would happen next.
Host: wait you haven't read the full script?
Archer: I haven't.
Saber: Me neither.
Sakura: Me too.
Rin: same here.
Illya: no…
Shirou: I think they haven't given us the full script in the first place?
Kirei: I have all of my scenes but I was instructed to not show them to the other actors.
Some of the guest actors were shocked, while the others gasp at the revelation. The audience stared and listen while the Host continued the topic.
Host: so some of the actors got their full scripts while others were just partially given is that correct?
The actors nodded together in agreement
Host: maybe it's to prevent other actors from spilling the beans. *laughs*
Everyone laughed at the snide comment and the Host continued the topic.
Host: have any of you actually watched some of your scenes that were filmed?
Sakura: They showed us some bits and pieces before continuing to polish it that one time.
Shirou: That's right, I particularly like my first meeting with Saber on the... the toolshed and you can see it in the first ten seconds of the trailers. It was really magical and I have to hand it to the visual effects department on how they managed to capture improve this scene.
Saber: I… actually like that as well.
Rin: most of the staff liked that scene. It just sets the tone of the series I feel.
Kirei: well, I liked the part when Archer was summoned, that was hilarious from Rin's Perspective.
Host: summoned? Oh, you meant appearance right?
Kirei: yes, yes.
Archer: I had to pose in a way that looks like I owned the place pretty much ignore most of the broken furniture.
Kirei: we took turns just to joke around. And I had to show Archer how it was done so I had to be fabulous.
Everyone laughs at his joke.
Host: Mostly the servant's introductions are pretty amazing then? There has to be a lot of reshoots then to make it more believable and serious?
Shirou: my first meeting with Saber had to be reshot like five times because She might laugh suddenly or I fumble on my line vice versa.
Saber: it was the expression that I had to give and a video that Shinji and Shirou shared with me that broke my concentration. Most of the time.
Host: most of the time?
Saber: most of the time. *giggles*
Host: If you guys had to reshoot a lot of scenes then you must have done plenty of adlibs on some scenes then?
Rin: we did actually, one that comes to mind was my first meeting with Archer. What was supposed to happen was, like the door would fall after I opened it but then it got stuck. I "accidentally" cursed while we were filming at the time and then just proceed to kick the door down because I got so pissed that the door wouldn't open.
Archer: we didn't have to reshoot that scene after that, that was brilliant.
Sakura: I have another story, in of the scenes with *********, Fujimura Taiga's actor. Where the scene where she acts as a substitute teacher, she was supposed to hand the papers to the student in front but decided to throw it all over the place since it was funnier that way.
The audience giggled
Host: However, I still don't get it. Why have three different "routes"? is that what's the author is calling it?
Illya: Ending?
Host: Yes, that. Why have three different Endings instead of one? Has the director or the author informed you anything regarding that topic?
Illya: My manager just told me "because the author made three great female heroines that it would be a waste" or something? I didn't really get it
Shirou: It actually has to do something with what Illya said, but the actual point for the three endings is because of the themes that are associated with each ending… I believe.
Host: Themes is it?
The actor of Saber nodded at his response and says.
Saber: Before we proceed to film the series, we scheduled a table-read in one of the studio's script reading rooms. We had the chance to meet the author and the rest of the cast for this film. When that same question was asked, the response he could give was the overall theme of the story which is " conquering one's self."
Rin: Pretty much, I mean the story is all about the protagonist Emiya Shirou and his journey throughout the story.
Host: That's a pretty broad theme isn't it? But that is interesting by itself. If the overall theme is "conquering one's self." Does that mean each ending has its own theme?
The actor of Saber nodded at his reply and said.
Saber: Each end has its own "theme" so to say. The theme given to my ending is "oneself as an ideal." And I'm pretty sure that the other heroines also have? Rin, Sakura?
Rin: Since I have the second ending, mine was "struggling with oneself as an ideal." I can't really give it into details as that can actually spoil the next ending. Sakura told me about it already but…
Sakura: ah, right. The last ending, or third if you will, is "the friction with real and ideal." That's all.
Host: that is a bit vague compared to the overall theme, is it possible to share or so they say "give a briefer explanation?"
The actor of Rin and Sakura smiled then proceeds to giggle.
Archer: You just have to see it on October 4 to know what those themes mean.
Host: Not even a hint?
Kirei: I could give a hint on what role does. A priest that does shady things.
The actor of Kirei replied with a smile on his face.
Host: But still, that has to be a big cast right? Can you tell us the procedure on how the cast we're chosen?
Saber: ah, although the production is big, we actually only have a small number of actors. Most are background actors walking around doing their everyday lives.
Illya: Most of the cast were chosen by auditions while some actors are recommendations from other directors, Taiga and Caster's actor is an example. There are just really good at acting.
Host: How about you Illya?
Illya: I was chosen from 4 different kids to play Illyasviel while the other kids are playing different roles for the series. I am very proud of how well I did in my audition.
Host: that sounds wonderful. How many of you are planning to watch it on the first day of release? That's a big event right. I know Saber is looking forward to it based on how many tweets she's been posting.
The actor of Saber blushes and then replies with a smile.
Saber: I'm just a really big fan of the series, especially when it comes to myths and history.
Host: That's good to know. How about the rest of you, Shirou?
Shirou: ah, I'll have to ask my parents to record the rest for me.
Host: Your schedule has to be packed since you're filming three endings of the same series.
Shirou: It's a big role so I have to be healthy and ready for the set.
The rest of the cast replied that "they are looking for to the show" and "I'll be having my parents/manager record it for me so I can watch it later"
Host: Well, now that we've reached a certain point in those show, why don't have play a little game?
Illya: I want to play!
Host: Look forward to it but first we'll take a break. While we change the set to our "Game Mode" we'll play the trailer for the third ending. Enjoy!
-The screen plays a short trailer of the third route, Heaven's Feel-
Well, that's all I wanted to post. Never really done this before and my English is "mediocre" but I did my best because I really love that tweet.
