Hey ya'll long time no write(except for that Oneshot that I published a couple weeks ago for a different fandom of course) I am not sure if this is going to be a oneshot since the injection that I get for Schizophrenia messes much with my creativity so then if this ends up being a oneshot please forgive me,I do hope that I could do this with enough quality as always also here in this fic Pyrrha has gotten over her feelings she had for Jaune for the sake of the fact that Jaune will be paired with someone else so without further adieu let's get started on this

This is it,teams JNPR and RWBY were now officially on a field trip to Atlas,everyone was excited with the exception of Weiss who dreaded being back in Atlas but then disaster struck as they as well as the teacher with them(none other than Port) got surrounded by a wave of Grimm,one of Nora's grenades caused an Avalanche which separated everyone.

Jaune came to with a pounding headache and cold hands,he shook the drowsiness from his mind as he looked around him,he remembered clearly Nora being completely overzealous with shooting grenades at the Grimm,seems at least the Grimm were nowhere to be found either seeing as there was only one left before Nora caused her little avalanche,he looked over and his heart stopped for a moment.

A few metres from him he saw a figure laying face down in the snow,knowing there was one person only in their whole group who had long black hair like that he got up and rushed over to her,he tried to wake the girl up but it seemed like there was no waking the girl up,Blake at least seemed like she was not in pain of any kind,Jaune wondered hard what he needed to do,but then he had a great idea.

Jaune picked Blake up in a bridal carry before shifting her onto his back,he took her arms and using a rope that he found he bound her hands together around his shoulders and took a hold of her legs so she would be secure,after a while of walking a snowstorm sprang up,he searched for a while and came upon a wooden cabin,he was surprised to find the door was open so he entered slowly.

He felt around for a light switch and after a minute of searching a found it and light flooded the room,he found himself in a living room(it's a big cabin) he cautiously went up the stairs he found on the other side of the living room,he checked around the upstairs hallway and made his way over to one of the rooms he saw and made his way inside,he unbound Blake's arms and lay her in the bed he found.

Going downstairs Jaune looked around the rest of the cabin to make sure that him and Blake were safe,he found the kitchen had a fully stocked refrigerator,the bathroom also had a clean look about it, whoever owned the cabin must have been there recently if the place was that well taken care of,there was even toilet paper in the bathroom,enough to last a week,he went back to the kitchen,he was hungry.

Thinking of his hunger he thought about Blake too and so he went back to the living room and found a fireplace that he had spotted earlier in his inspection of the cabin,he got to work on getting a fire going and pulled a couch nearer to the fire place,he got Blake back from upstairs blanket and all and then lay her on the couch,he went back to the kitchen,the owners would not miss much.

Jaune found some meat cubes already cut up in one part of the fridge,some beans,corn and some meat extract,he put a pot on the stove,opened the gas(it was a gas stove) and poured water into the pot,he took half of the bag of cut up meat cubes and tossed them onto the pot,next he took two cans of beans and corn each and added them to the meat once the meat had cooked half the time needed.

Blake came to an hour later and felt heat, that was unexpected,she was supposed to have been out in the atlas wastes so she opened her eyes and found herself on a couch in front of a fire,she could smell something cooking somewhere,she took her surroundings in and found herself in a cabin of sorts,she got up and followed the smell of food,she was surprised to see a shaggy blond in front of a stove.

"Jaune?"

Blake said with a raspy voice making Jaune jump and turn around,once he saw it was Blake he smiled at her in relief.

"Yeah it's me,you wouldn't believe our luck after what happed I don't know how much earlier but yeah here we... are."

he finished off lamely,he realised he had been rambling and so he decided to give Blake a chance to ask some questions.

"First of all what happened out there? Second of all where are we? Thirdly what on Remnant are you cooking?"

Blake asked rapid fire,she was glad that Jaune decided to give her a chance to ask questions,she needed answers

"Nora caused an Avalanche firstly, secondly I found this cabin out in a snowstorm,thirdly I'm making soup."

Jaune explained making sure to pause between sentences for it all to sink in for Blake what their situation is.

"I know you are hungry I am too but you can't just go using people's stock,how'll you explain it if they come back?"

Blake asked exasperatedly,she knew Jaune was a doofus(even though she actually liked him) but still this?

"Come on Blake,I'm sure they'll understand,now go sit down the food is almost ready,don't be stubborn"

Jaune said with finality with what Nora had dubbed his "leader voice",sister team or not he is leader of a team.

Blake grumbled as she went and sat back down on the couch,she was stuck there until goodness knows when all the while Jaune cooked them soup owned by someone else,then again her stomach was rumbling from lack of food,they hadn't eaten that morning since the field trip was sprung on them without warning and so she decided accepting the food was a good idea,she was starving.

Jaune walked into the living room with two bowls of some soup in hand,each bowl had a spoon in it,he sat down and gave Blake hers which she greatfully accepted and took tentative spoons full and blew on them before each bite,she had to blow a lot of air on it seeing as the soup was freshly cooked and thus stil very much hot,Jaune knew Blake was stubborn so he handled her accordingly.

Blake didn't know when it started but she had started to like Jaune when he started goofing off less and being more serious, he had started studying harder for tests and paying attention in class,his combat skills even improved,he was now well above Cardin when it came to both skill as well as strength so he also no longer lost in combat class,he could now beat most first years,just not RWBY or his own team.

Jaune sat with all his thoughts in a disarray,here he was sitting with the girl he had started to like,his skills and grades had been improving because he had started to like Blake and decided the best way to try and impress her is to grow both as a person and a Huntsman in training,he just didn't know that she was acually being very impressed by his newfound dedication and skill

"So Jaune seeing as we are stuck here in a snowstorm until we are found,I see you have greatly improved,how is that?"

Blake asked the question that's been lingering on her mind since said improvement from Jaune started.

"Well to be honest it is to impress a girl I like,it is not Weiss if that is what you are thinking,she clearly doesn't like me so..."

Jaune trailed off,he didn't say which girl he liked now as he didn't want Blake to know it's herself least she reject him.

"Is it Pyrrha? She has been by your side the whole time training you plus she's so nice,I would not blame you for liking her."

Blake asked interested,Pyrrha is a great girl,she's friendly,strong,beautiful,what's there not to like?

"No look don't get me wrong,she's beautiful,nice powerful,had a crush on me once but no it's not her."

Jaune chuckled as he said this,sure if Pyrrha were still interested in him he'd take a chance with her but she wasn't.

"Is it Yang? She is a blonde like you,has a cool semblance,and so many guys would fall for her,she is cool in her own way."

Blake fished some more,Yang is a bombshell who could make many guys hearts hammer like a drum.

"It's not Yang either,sure she has those same qualities as Pyrrha except the previously mentioned crush but still no."

Jaune said picturing himself having a crush on someone who'd hurt him for messing up her hair,talk about ouch.

"Is it Ruby? I mean look at her she has this cute chipmunk like look when she stuffs her face,some guys like that right?"

Blake was running out of girls she could name,Ruby does look really cute even when stuffing her face,could be her.

"Not Ruby either,look she's pretty darn adorable no matter what she does but no, plus Yang would kill me if I liked Ruby."

Jaune shuddered at the thought of Yang wanting to torture him,Blake had only herself left to guess,this was it.

"No way you like me? Is that why you've been trying so hard? to impress me? I never would've guessed."

Blake was surprised,Jaune returned her feelings,her pride had been stopping her but now...

"Blake look I know you probably don't feel the same way about me so could you let me down gently?"

Jaune asked Blake who had set her soup aside on a nearby table,Jaune did the same and closed his eyes tight.

"I will not have to let you down gently... or at all,my pride my have stopped me from admitting this before but I like you too."

Blake said leaning in,Jaune gave a surprised squeak as Blake gave him a peck on the lips.

A few hours later Jaune recieved a scroll call from the rest of the group who were pretty worried about them,since the snowstorm had cleared up scroll connectivity was back,he let them know to look for a cabin,disconnecting his scroll he tidied up the cabin and cleaned up the kitchen,they went outside and hours later the others found them outside the cabin holding hands,congratulations ensued.

I am sorry guys it's like I said my creativity is surpressed like crazy,I know this probably sucks but still review please.
