Back at the entrance, Thirteen was still in the process of restraining Kurogiri with her Black Hole. However, the villain barely seemed bothered by this attack. "Ah, Black Hole, the Quirk that sucks up matter and turns it into dust. Such an astounding power." The fog creature said, almost admiring the power attempting to destroy him. "However, you're a Rescue Hero, Thirteen, skilled at saving people from disasters." He explained, starting to open another portal at his center. "Consequently, that means you have little fighting experience or battlefield awareness." He elaborated, opening another portal behind the hero, the vacuum of her own Quirk starting to suck her in as well.
The students gasped in shock and horror as Thirteen looked back at the portal behind her and the vacuum pulling at her and her costume. "He opened a warp gate!" She cried out in realization.
"Teach, look out!" Bredon shouted. But it was too late.
Kurogiri's eyes narrowed as if he was grinning, pleased with his actions, even chuckling to himself as the back of Thirteen's suit was torn open, causing her Quirk to start hitting herself as well. "How unfortunate. You've turned yourself into dust!" He declared as all the students gasped again.
The heroine's vacuum finally subsided as she no longer had the strength to keep it up. "I'm sorry... He got me..." She said weakly as she began to fall.
"Thirteen!" Mina cried out in fear for her teacher.
The students were still in shock, while the monster students could only glare at the enemy before them. "Damn!" Scylla cursed, looking to their Class Rep. "Iida! Get out of here! Go! Now!" She told him as she turned back to the mist villain.
Iida looked like he wanted to argue, but thought back to Thirteen's words about being a real hero, saving others with his Quirk. So, after a moment of convince himself, his engines roared to life. "Engine!" He cried out as he dashed past the villain and to the door. But what he didn't see as he charged forward was Scylla running off to the side.
However, Kurogiri was quick to turn back to him. "A sheep trying to escape from the wolves! I simply can't allow that!" He declared, spiraling his body as he made a new portal in front of Iida. "If other heroes arrive, it'll be harder for us to put an end to All Might." The villain explained.
Iida turned to the side to try and brake to prevent himself from entering the portal. (This responsibility...) He told himself in his mind as he thought to his other classmates throughout the structure. (Was entrusted to me!) He said, before thinking to the ones behind him who encouraged him to do this. (Classmates... I'll keep you safe!) He mentally promised as he drew closer to the portal.
However, before he could enter it, Kurogiri was suddenly knocked to the ground by a white mass, Iida looking over to see a large net of spider web pinning the villain to the ground. "I don't think so, fog face! You're nothing but a fly in my web now!" Scylla declared, glaring at the black mist man, before looking to the class rep. "Go for it, Iida. He's not going anywhere!" She told him.
Iida then turned back forward and continued his full-speed charge. (I'll be back in a flash!) He mentally promised again.
Kurogiri was NOT happy with this. "You impertinent child!" He snapped in rage, now expanding his actual body to pursue Iida. However, as he did this, he was diminishing the dark mist in front of the students, enough for Uraraka to notice some strange metal collar at the center of his being. "You won't set foot outside those doors!" He declared as he now looked over the engine-legged boy.
Iida now saw the doors to the facility right in front of him and he was approaching them rapidly. (I'm close. But what if it's locked? Will I be able to pry it open in time?) He wondered to himself in his head.
"I have no time for this! BEGONE!" Kurogiri roared furiously as he shot ahead of Iida and made himself into another portal to send the boy elsewhere.
(This was it.) Midoriya narrated as Iida charged through the darkness. (The evil that pros faced... We'd gotten our first look, but the worst was yet to come...) Midoriya continued to narrate as he, Tsuyu and Tana looked on in horror at their fellow students, Daruka and Zafira standing over a downed Aizawa protectively, snapping at any villains that god close as Maxima stood in front, staring down bird-brained beast before them.
"What do you think of him, Eraser Head?" Shigaraki asked as he looked on at his beast's work, pupils shrinking as his eyes widened in elation. "He's the bio-engineered anti-Symbol of Peace. But you can call him 'Nomu'." The villain declared as the monster shrieked mindlessly.
"Collapse Zone"
An explosion burst out of a heavily damaged building. The cause was, of course, none other than Bakugo, who was blasting away the villains attacking him. "Say goodbye!" He roared, blasting two villains into a wall.
Not too far away Kirishima blocked a sword strike from another villain, breaking the blade before knocking to the ground with a downward knife hand to the neck.
The two of them panted from the exertion of fighting so many enemies at once. "I think that's the last of these guys. Bunch of weaklings." Bakugo said.
Kirishima then turned to him. "Alright. Let's hurry and find the rest of our class. If we're both still in the USJ, then everyone else probably is, too. And not all of them have the offensive skills we do." He gave his suggested course of action. "We've gotta make sure they're safe. Especially since we screwed things up when we got in the way earlier." He explained as he remembered their failed attack on Kurogiri. "If Thirteen had been able to suck up that villain, then we never would've been separated like that." He lamented over their mistake. "We have to make it up to the others!" He insisted.
"You want to track everyone down, have fun. But I'm gonna go destroy that warp-y bastard." Bakugo declared, much to Kirishima's shock.
"Huh? Our physical attacks didn't hurt that guy. Come on, don't be an idiot, man." Kirishima tried to reason with him. But, as usual, he wasn't having it.
"Shut up! I'm gonna take him down because he's their way in and out! If I cut off their escape route, they'll be stuck here and have to pay for what they've done. We'll just have to figure it out." The explosive boy explained.
All the while, neither him nor Kirishima noticed an invisible chameleon-like figure creeping down the wall behind Bakugo and slowly sneaking up on the boy from behind, leaping into the air and preparing to strike. (Hope you had fun chit-chatting. Too bad you let your guard- down!) The invisible villain declared in his mind as he readied a knife to end Bakugo, only for the explosive boy to suddenly shoot his arm out and catch the lizard-like villain by his face, before detonating his palm in it to instantly knock the guy out.
"Anyway, if all these villains were small fries like these guys were, then our classmates can handle 'em." Bakugo added as he held up the villain, who weakly sputtered in his grasp.
Kirishima was amazed by both Bakugo's reaction time to catch the invisible villain, but also his his words that he believed in their class. He was about to say something, but then noticed a trail of red in the darkness out of the corner of his eye. "Head's up!" He said, tackling Bakugo out of the air of several quills flying through the air, imbedding themselves in the wall behind where they once stood.
"A small fry calling others small fries. That's rich." A female voice rang out as a figure emerged from the shadows.
She was slightly taller than both boys, roughly equal height to Yaoyorozu at 5'6", with a slender frame. She feet were barefoot, allowing them to see the sharp nails at the end of them, as well as the black fur extending up to her knees, except the outside of her legs, where it extended halfway up her thighs, where it was met with lighter brown skin. She wore a pair of black short-shorts with blood red lining, a black mesh shirt that allowed her midriff to be visible, with a black crop top with red linings covering her chest. A long, thick yet flexible tail with rough, spiky-looking fur at the end extending from the top of her hip and her arms were also uncovered, revealing them to be almost entirely covered in black fur like her legs, extending all the way to the end of her hands, which were tipped with sharp, black claws. But also, she had a pair of wings connected to her arm, similar to Olympia, but the bones of the wings were much more developed, looking almost metallic and blade like, with a thin red membrane between them. She had a slender, pointed face with yellow eyes, shoulder-length black hair atop her head with a pair of cat ears with red insides poking out of the sides.
Bakugo growled at this, shoving Kirishima off of him and standing to face her. "You think your tough shit, Neko Bitch!? I'll kick your ass!" He snapped.
The girl just chuckled at this. "That's funny. Really, it's cute you think you'll even be able to lay a hand on me." She said, running her hands along her body.
Kirishima quickly got up as well. "Bakugo, wait! There's something different about this girl. Like there's an air of danger around her or something! And her wings kind of remind me of Olympia and the others in our class like her. And you know they're not to be messed with." He warned his explosive friend.
"So what?! You're saying we should run!?" Bakugo snapped back.
Kirishima quickly put a determined look on her face. "No way! That wouldn't be manly at all!" He declared.
The cat-like girl scoffed at this. "Bold to assume you COULD even run and get away from me." She taunted.
"You'll be wishing you could run when I'm done with you!" Bakugo snapped.
"So, what's your name? Real men should know each other's names before they fight!" Kirishima said, before looking to the side. "And... I guess that applies to girls, too." He said awkwardly.
The panther girl chuckled at this. "Artemis. Try not to die too quick now, at least last long enough to remember it." She said, getting into a fighting stance. [1]
Background Music: "Catch Me If You Can" by Set It Off
Artemis suddenly lunged forward, moving so fast she seemed to have disappeared. "Wha-?!" The boys could only gasp in shock, before she appeared in a lowered stance in front of Kirishima. The Hardening Quirk-User tried to punch down at her, but she was too fast, thrusting her arm forward and slamming the blade into his stomach, sadistically moving her arm to the side while extending her wing membrane to slowly (for her) push harder on the blade, making it slice deeper into Kirishima's stomach. However, before she could cut deep enough to damage anything vital, Bakugo lunged forward at her. "Get off him, you cat freak!" He shouted, thrusting his arm forward to blast her arm off, but she pulled back with a small spin, her tail smacking him in the face and knocking him off his feet.
She smirked and tutted at them as Bakugo got back up and Kirishima covered his wound. "Gotta be quicker than that, boys. I could've taken you both out if I wanted. But I didn't want the fun to be over too quick." She taunted them.
"We'll see how much fun you have when I shove your own tail up your ass!" Bakugo snapped, launching himself forward, thrusting his arm out towards Artemis to blast her in the face with an explosion. However, the Nargacuga girl simply leaned to the side with one of her arms raised, Bakugo's trajectory making him slide along the edge of the raised arm blade, leaving a nasty cut in his side. She then spun again, making her tail smack Bakugo in the face again, causing him to stagger back, but he managed to stay on his feet this time. However, it might have been better if he had been knocked off his feet, as once she completed her spin move, Artemis fired several of her quills at him. He managed to block a few with his remaining gauntlet, but the last one was aimed up higher at his head, forcing him to tilt his head to the side so the quill would miss his eye, still grazing his cheek a mere half-inch below his eye.
Kirishima then rushed in, hoping to catch her off-guard while she was focused on Bakugo, but she noticed it and quickly leaned to the side to avoid his punch, delivering a palm strike to his face, making him reel back so his back was facing her, allowing her to deliver a shallow slash with her arm blade between his shoulder blades, before slamming her tail into his back and sending him sprawling in front of Bakugo. She scoffed at this as the boys failed to offer her anything close to a challenge. "Jeez. I think it might actually be harder to LET you two win. I've been toying with you and you're still both pretty hanging on by a thread. Fine, time to cut those threads." She declared, rushing in at Bakugo.
"Bakugo, look out!" Kirishima cried out, moving in front of his comrade, raising his hardened arms in front of him.
Artemis swung her arm-blade at the boys, but to her shock, it felt like her blade had just connected with a boulder, making it bounce off of the boy's arms. "Wha-?!" She asked in shock as she was knocked off-balance.
The boys saw this and realized this was their opening. "Got you now, Cougar creep!" Bakugo declared as he lunged forward, grabbing her face and unleashing an explosion, making her reel back further.
"This is what happens when you underestimate a couple of real men! And U.A Students!" Kirishima shouted as well, rushing in and delivering a punch to her gut that doubled her over. Bakugo continued the assault with a back fist to her face that staggered her once again, allowing Kirishima to rush in and hit her in the face with a haymaker. Bakugo then blasted her in the stomach to double her over again, allowing Kirishima to hit her with an uppercut, staggering her one final time, before both boys hit her with a strike to the face, an explosion for Bakugo and another haymaker from Kirishima that knocked her back, sending her sprawling across the floor.
However, she was quick to roll into a kneeling position, using the claws on her left foot and right hand to bring herself to a stop, her head lowered, shadowing her eyes with her hair. "You two... are... DEAD!" She declared, glaring up at them, her eyes glowing red as she let out a panther-like roar, the quills on her tail extending.
She then rushed in, disappearing and reappearing in front of them in a mere second, slamming her tail into Bakugo, sending him back into a wall. His costume's tough vest preventing her quills from going in deep enough to cause lethal damage, but it would still leave quite gnarly puncture wounds. But now, her focus was on Kirishima, slashing at him wildly with her arm blades, but he JUST BARELY managed to block them. However, she eventually noticed something as she attacked him: whatever body part she was attacking turned incredibly rigid as it became hard as a rock, but the place she'd attacked previously looked like any normal human's body parts. (So, that's it.) She realized, now aiming for his head, causing him to raise his arms up in defense. However, she changed her angle and slashed downward, cutting his thigh instead, causing him to cry out in pain, leaving him open and allowing her to get an extra diagonal slash left to right across his chest, before knocking him back with a spinning strike from her tail.
She rushed after him, ready to decapitate him with her arm blades, but heard an explosion behind her, backflipping out of the way just in time to avoid an explosion from Bakugo. She landed behind him and he spun to face her, launching himself at her. However, as he was about to reach her and she readied herself into a position to slash him, he used an explosion to redirect himself around behind her, preparing to blast her in the back of the head. But that was in vain as she dashed to the side and disappeared, reappearing behind him, giving him a teasing kiss on the back of the neck, before biting down on the side of his neck. He cried out in pain at this, swinging his arm back to try and clothesline her, but she vanished yet again. He turned and aimed an explosion behind him, thinking that's where she would reappear, but found nothing. He then turned back around, seeing her crouched in front of him, delivering an cross-slash across his stomach with her claws, before backflipping and smacking him back with her tail.
Bakugo was knocked back to the ground on his back, glaring up at her. (Dammit! She's too good, we're not gonna win like this. And she cut us up like scoring a damn pork! We're losing too much blood. We've gotta get out of here!) He thought to himself. "Try this!" He declared, slamming his hands on the ground repeatedly to make several explosions.
"Ha! What, are you trying to bring down the building on us or something? Or have you lost your mind from the blood loss!?" She demanded, rushing at him and slashing with her arm blade as he unleashed one last explosion, but felt no resistance of flesh against her blade, meaning she missed. "What?!" She questioned, before looking around and realizing the area was filled with thick smoke from all his explosions. (A smokescreen!) She realized, looking around, before hearing something behind her and turning just in time for Bakugo to grab her by the face with his hand that still had a gauntlet.
"Here's a bit for you, Neko Bitch!" He declared, pulling the pin of his grenade gauntlet and unleashing an explosion that sent her tumbling back.
End Music
Artemis got back to her feet, but still stumbled back from the force, holding her eye. "Ah! You little bastards! You're DEAD!" She snapped, pulling her hand away from her eye to reveal a scar over it, a look of rage on her face, but soon found the boys were gone. "What?! They actually ran?!" She exclaimed in disbelief. She looked out the window, but didn't see any trace of them. "Where's all that tough talk now, you little punks!? Run all you want, but I'll find you and catch you soon enough!" She shouted, rushing down the halls of the destroyed building, thinking they must be somewhere inside.
However, the two of them had hid amongst the debris of the Collapse Zone, peeking out now that they believed it was safe. "Man, that was close." Kirishima said with a sigh of relief. "I don't like running like that, but I don't think we had any other choice. We were barely managing to JUST hold her off. No way we could've taken her for real." He said, ashamed of himself.
Bakugo, meanwhile, was struggling not to puke, feeling sick with himself that he ran from a fight. "I wasn't good enough. I almost ate it in there." He said, before growling. "But I'm not done. Just you wait, panther bitch. I'm gonna get stronger. Then I'll kick your ass and break those blades off your wings!" He promised, he and Kirishima heading towards the center plaza.
Meanwhile, throughout the rest of the facility, the other members of Class 1-A were proving Bakugo's point and managing to hold their own.
"Squall Zone"
In another "city" being devastated by a full-on hurricane, two more villains wandered the street, searching for any possible students in the area, when a whistle suddenly garnered their attention. A while almost loud enough to burst their eardrums. They turned towards the source of the noise and found Olympia in the middle of the street. "Hey, guys! Looks like you found me. So, what now, you big, scary villains?" She asked challengingly.
"Oh, now you're dead, monster freak!" The female villain said as she and the male villain with her ran at the boy, leaping into the air and preparing to attack him.
However, this attack was cut short by a massive clawed hand composed of darkness flying in from the side and slamming the two of them into a wall hard enough to leave a decently sized crack-filled crater in it. The arm of darkness then retracted back to Tokoyami. "That's six of them down." The bird boy declared.
"Nice work, buddy. Remind me never to take you lightly." Olympia praised, giving him a thumbs up.
"Thank you. But, what did they mean when they called you a monster?" He asked.
The Brute Tigrex girl stammered a bit, before coming up with an answer. "Well, I AM pretty monstrous-looking." She said simply.
"I see. The world can be cruel to judge someone based off their appearance." He said, accepting the answer, causing Olympia to sigh in relief. He then looked up to the sky. "We're reducing their numbers, but very slowly. I hope it helps in the long run." He said.
"You could help US by dying!" A voice rang out.
Suddenly, the sound of something shooting through the air at high speeds could be heard, Olympia seeing the source heading straight for Tokoyami. "Look out!" She warned him, moving in front of him and raising her arms up in front of her body to protect it, but still winced as she felt several razor sharp golden scales bounce off her tough scales, not breaking skin, but still scraping against them hard.
"Olympia! Are you alright?!" Tokoyami asked, looking in the direction of the scales.
"What the heck was that?!" Dark Shadow asked, following his partner's gaze.
On the roof of a nearby single story building stood a figure that stood out in the darkness of the zone. He was relatively short at only 5 feet tall with a rather lithe frame, but still clearly had some muscular definition. His skin tone was bright yellow, almost matching the razor-sharp golden scales above his Zygodactyl feet. He wore torn up black shorts with gold lining, with a fauld made of his own fallen scales around his hip, just above which extended a two-pronged tail also covered in incredibly sharp scales. He also wore a VERY torn up black T-shirt, allowing to see underneath it, revealing a six pack covered by more gold scales. The REASON for this incredibly torn up shirt was likely his arms, a combination of both human arms and wings, similar to Olympia, but his wings were covered in more razor-sharp scales and his hands only possessed two digits, two fingers and a thumb. He had a diamond-shaped face with a small spike on his chin, piercing red eyes. And his hair was also gold, standing straight up (think Super Saiyans), causing the red and silver blade extending from his forehead to stand out prominently.
Olympia was shocked at this. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me!" She said in disbelief, realizing she was staring at the human form of a Seregios.
"You know who this is?" Tokoyami asked her.
"Oh, you could say our species are very familiar with each other. Both of us are fans of the same volcanic regions, so we compete against each other quite often. You could say we're always at each other's throats." The Seregios chuckled darkly, before looking deadly serious. "But, that stops today. Because I'm about to turn both of you into pincushions." He declared, his scales standing on end.
"Leave him out of it, spiky. I'm the one you want." Olympia snapped.
"The name's Scimitar. And no can do. I may want you, but Shigaraki wants all these kids. He wants 'em... dead." The Seregios declared. [2]
Olympia growled at this, looking back at Tokoyami. "Look, I'll explain everything later. For now, just trust me and let's focus on making it out of this alive." She told him.
He seemed suspicious for a moment, before hardening his gaze and nodding resolutely. "Very well. You've given me no reason to doubt you up until now." He said.
"Yeah! We're with you!" Dark Shadow cheered.
"Aww, how cute. Friends sticking together... And dying together!" Scimitar announced, flinging several scales at them, before jumping and dive-bombing after them with a kick.
Background Music: "The Only Thing I Know For Real" from Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
Dark Shadow managed to deflect the scales away from Tokoyami while Olympia blocked with her arms again, but this left her unable to see Scimitar as his diving kick knocked on her right arm away, opening her defenses for a slash to her shoulder from his horn, causing her to let out a monstrous shriek of pain. "Get away from her!" Tokoyami demanded as he sent Dark Shadow flying in towards the Seregios villain.
"You're not the only one who's sharp, spiky!" Dark Shadow declared, readying his own sharp claws to slash the bladed beastman.
However, Scimitar smirked at this, smacking Dark Shadow's claws away with his tail, jumping and twisting while throwing a right inside crescent kick to smack Dark Shadow away. "Maybe not, but it looks like I'm the only one with a sharp mind!" He declared, pushing off Dark Shadow and flying at Tokoyami at high speeds, slashing wildly with his claws once he was in range, catchin Tokoyami with a downward diagonal slash to his left shoulder, taking some hair off as the bird-headed boy just barely ducked under a horizontal slash for his head, a downward strike scratching his beak, before knocking him back with a backflipping strike from his tail, also leaving some nasty cuts up his torso and the underside of his beak as well.
"Hey! Don't forget about me, Poindexter!" Olympia snapped, rushing in and spinning to try and sweep him with her tail, but he jumped up, twisting in the air and swinging his head forward to slash her with the blade on his head. She blocked it with her arms, but it managed to leave a pretty good cut into the hard scales.
It also broke through her guard, allowing him to hit her with a few kicks that knocked her back and left a few more nasty scratches. "Okay, I know part of that word sounds like 'point', but that word doesn't mean what you think it does." Scimitar told her.
Suddenly, Dark Shadow flew in and grabbed him. "Oh, yeah? Well, what does this mean!?" He demanded, turning and flinging Scimitar into the wall of a building. The Seregios villain managed to right himself and plant his feet on the wall and not taking any damage, but Dark Shadow had rushed right in after the bladed baddie and slammed into him, sending them both crashing into the building.
"Think that did it?" Tokoyami asked, moving in front of the hole in the building
"Don't count on it. Seregios are tough customers." Olympia said.
"And that would be what, exactly?" He asked, turning towards her.
She flinched at this, realizing she slipped up again, but before either of them could say anything, she heard the sound of sharp object slicing through the air at high speeds, immediately realizing what it was. "Look out!" She yelled, rushing in and pulling Tokoyami into a protective hug, her back turned to the danger, resulting in several golden scales piercing into her. Her scales and armored corset prevented the blades from piercing deep enough to cause serious injury, but it still hurt.
"Olympia!" Tokoyami cried out.
Scimitar then flew in, somehow having gotten Dark Shadow off him, throwing a round kick to knock Olympia off Tokoyami. He then swung his tail to hit Tokoyami in the gut, doubling him over and knocking the air out of him, allowing him to twist in the air and come down with his bladed horn to slash Tokoyami's right shoulder. He then grabbed Tokoyami by the throat. "Time to fry this chicken!" He declared, readying his claws to disembowel the boy.
However, he was distracted and flinched as a bloodcurdling roar boomed through the area, enough to be heard back at the entrance, so it definitely hurt the ears of someone in the immediate area. He turned towards the source of the roar to see Olympia, a red glow running through her veins as he eyes and similarly began to glow red. "Now, I'm PISSED!" She bellowed "Dark Shadow! Get some distance!" She ordered.
"Got it!" Dark Shadow declared, flying back to its master and delivering a punch to Scimitar's face to knock him back, shaking Tokoyami a bit to break him out of the daze his injuries put him in, alerting him to Olympia, to which he quickly jumped back.
And it was very lucky he did, for at that moment, Olympia unleashed a massive roar, unleashing a beam of soundwaves that knocked the Seregios villain all the way down the road. Olympia quickly rushed after him, snapping her fangs furiously. Scimitar recovered and fired a volley of scales at her, but she stopped and unleashed another powerful roar, the soundwaves being sufficient enough to not only rob the scales of their forward momentum, but sent them back at Scimitar, causing a few to hit him, before he used his wings to shield himself from the others. But this left him unable to see Dark Shadow as he delivered a punch to his gut to knock the wind out of him as he'd done to Tokoyami, hitting him with a few more powerful hits, before grabbing him and thrusting him forward. This caused him to stumble as he tried not to trip, leaving him open as Olympia had grabbed a huge chunk of a destroyed building and threw it at him, causing it to slam into and break against him, knocking him to the ground. He got to his feet just in time for Olympia to reach him, grabbing his bladed horn in her mighty, scaled hand and snapping it off.
End Music
Scimitar cried out in pain and rage as his horn was snapped in half, smacking Olympia in the stomach with his tail, knocking her back as well as leaving some nasty cuts on her stomach, flying back to a safe distance, landing on the roof of the building he started the confrontation on. "Dammit! My horn!" He cried out, angrily, before glaring back at them. "You caught a lucky break this time! But I promise you, next time we cross paths, you'll be left in a puddle of your own blood!" He snapped, flying away.
"Are you alright?" Tokoyami asked, looking at Olympia.
"I'll live. Thanks for the back-up by the way. Not everyone can tangle with someone like him." She said.
"Once again, you make it sound like you've run into him before, or at least someone very similar, which is unlikely with Quirks. Care to explain yourself?" The bird-headed boy asked.
Olympia sighed at this. "It's a long story, let's save it until after we're out of this crazy place." She told him.
He narrowed his eyes for a minute, before sighing. "Fair point. Our friends still need us. But I will want that explanation after all this is done." He said, continuing on his way.
"I wonder if you'll even believe me when I tell you?" She wondered, following him.
Iida was shown once again, rushing for the door as fast as he could. Kurogiri was still after him and determined to send him who knows where, when suddenly, a flaming blade came cleaving downward, forcing him to stop before he was cleaved in twain. "What!?" Kurogiri exclaimed in shock, turning to see Bredon now blocking his path with his burning red tail blade.
"No one gets past a Glavenus, fool." He declared.
And before Kurogiri could recover from his shock, Uraraka ran in and touched the strange metal collar of Kurogiri's body and used her Quirk to make him weightless, pulling him back. "I don't know what his Quirk is, but he's wearing some kind of weird armor, so he must have a physical body in there somewhere!" She declared, before hurling him, high into the air, away from Iida. "Now! Run Iida!" She called after the Class Rep.
"You pest! How dare you!" Kurogiri roared furiously as he was thrown further away, now unable to reach the speeding boy before him. Iida reached the doors, but they were tightly shut, so he had to stop and slowly open the massively heavy doors. "I've got you!" Kurogiri declared, shooting forward towards the speedster.
But then, a strand of webbing shot out and wrapped around his collar. "I told you, you aren't going ANYWHERE!" Scylla declared, spinning around and throwing Kurogiri as far away as she could. Which was quite a lot, thanks to her spider strength. "It's all you now, Iida! Get going!" She told the class rep.
All the while, Iida was still hard at work to get through the doors, finally prying them open enough to charge out at full speed. "Engine... BOOST!" Iida cried out, going even faster as he rocketed down the road.
Kurogiri could only growl as he soared further from his target. "He's going to call for backup... It's over." He realized.
Back at the center of the facility, Maxima blasted Nomu with a burst of snow from her ponytail-like trunk, a thin layer of frost covering him, an indicator of Iceblight, but the beast powered through and slammed a fist into her head crest, staggering her. "Brute strength, tough bony armor AND ice powers. That's pretty interesting, girly, but it's nothing impressive. When faced with true, devastating power, you might as well be a Quirkless child." Shigaraki told the girl as she and Nomu locked hands in an attempt to push each other back. Aizawa managed to raise his head to look up at Nomu, using his power to erase the monster's abilities, but the beast didn't become ANY weaker and began to force Maxima down to one knee.
(I'm positive I erased his Quirk, but he's STILL overpowering one of my strongest students. That means he's super strong, even without powers!) Aizawa thought to himself as Maxima lashed at Nomu with her trunk, even using its sharp teeth to slash at Nomu, but it wasn't slowing him down in the slightest. (I think he's as strong as All Might!) He thought while straining in pain, before the light wounds she was leaving on Nomu healed and he kneed her in the head, causing them to separate and her to stagger back and fall to one knee again while holding her head as Nomu stepped up to her again.
"Dammit! Get back, you bastard!" Daruka snapped, trying to breathe a stream of Dragon Energy at Nomu, but several weaker villains empowered by the Frenzy stepped in the path of the beam to block it, rushing at Daruka, who had to carefully dodge their strikes.
"Dammit! It's no use if we can't get past these small fry, first!" Zafira snapped, backflipping and smacking one villain away with her tail, only for three more to block her path to Maxima and Nomu.
Meanwhile, Midoriya and his group continued to watch in horror. "Dammit! I'm not sitting back like a coward while they fight for their lives!" Tana snapped, stepping forward, but was held back by Tsuyu.
"Wait, Tana! There's so many of them. This is more than we can handle right now!" The frog girl told her.
Suddenly, Kurogiri then appeared beside the hand-covered villain. "Tomura Shigaraki." He greeted his boss.
"Kurogiri. Did you manage to kill Thirteen?" He asked.
"The Rescue Hero is out of commission. But there were students I was unable to disperse and one of them got outside of the facility." He reported.
"Huh!?" Shigaraki questioned, turning to Kurogiri. This information clearly upset him, as he began to relentlessly scratch at his neck, growling and panting heavily all the while. "Kurogiri... You fool... If you weren't our warp gate, I'd tear apart every last atom in your body." The villainous leader declared, still restlessly scratching his neck, even as he started to scratch the skin raw and red and agitated, before finally stopping. "There's no way we can win if dozens of pros show up to stop us. It's game over." He admitted. "Back to the title screen. And I was looking forward to finishing this today." He lamented, lowering his arms and hanging both his shoulders and head low. "Damn it. Let's go home." He said, looking to Kurogiri.
Midoriya and the others were shocked to hear this. "Seriously? They're actually giving up, even though they've gotten this far?" Tana asked.
"That's what it sounded like to me." Tsuyu confirmed.
The former Agnaktor was still a bit surprised by this, but soon sighed in relief. "Finally. It's about time we catch a break." She said, relieved.
"I don't know... I have a real bad feeling about this, guys." Tsuyu said, looking between them in concern.
Midoriya nodded in agreement. "It seems weird that they'd retreat at this point, even if help IS on the way." He agreed with his fellow green-haired student. (All Might's probably coming. Don't they wanna kill him? They must know UA will beef up their security after this, so now's their best chance. What's going on here? Why is THIS "game over", huh?) The newest One For All wielder questioned.
Shigaraki then straightened up a bit. "Oh, before we leave, let's make sure the Symbol of Peace is broken." He declared, looking back at Midoriya and Co. "Let's wreck his pride." He continued, glaring at them, before suddenly vanishing.
"No!" Aizawa said, trying to rush after Shigaraki, only for the Gore Magala villain to block his path, delivering a punch to his gut to knock the wind out of him, before one of his wing-arms grabbed Aizawa's head and slammed it into the ground.
"AIZAWA!" Daruka and Zafira cried out, attempting to advance and help their teacher, but a mist from the former Pre-Elder Dragon made them hesitate, before they had to avoid attacks from other lesser villains.
Just as suddenly, Shigaraki reappeared in front of Midoriya's group. More specifically, right in front of Tsuyu. "Let's make this hurt." He said, reaching out for the frog girl.
Time seemed to slow down for Midoriya as he looked at the hand shooting towards his friend, recalling what the villain's touch had done to Aizawa's elbow. Then, the boy couldn't help but imagine Tsuyu crumbling to nothingness if the villain laid his hand on her. The villain did indeed place his hand upon her face, but to everyone's shock, nothing happened. However, Shigaraki was quick to understand the situation and chuckled a bit. "You really are so cool... Eraser Head" He said, looking back at Aizawa, who managed to look up and use his Quirk to erase Shigaraki's powers to save his student. But then, the Gore Magala villain grabbed the teacher's head and slammed it to the floor.
"Get off her, you handsy freak!" Tana snapped, lunging out of the water, aiming her claws to slash the villain's head to pieces. However, before her claws could reach the apparent mastermind, she was caught by the wrist by Nomu, who had flung Maxima into Daruka and Zafira, freeing himself to intercept Tana. "W-what?!" She exclaimed in shock as she was lifted into the air by her arm, before the the bird-brained villain squeezed her wrist, causing an audible pop and a cry of pain from her, signaling her wrist was at least dislocated, if not outright broken.
Midoriya was shocked and horrified at this, but he knew he had to do something. (Tana majorly saved us back in the shipwreck zone! We couldn't have handled that Lagiacrus without her! I can't let that villain hurt her anymore! I've got to stop him and get her and Asui out of here now!) The greenette told himself in his mind, becoming resolute. "You! Let her go! Now!" Midoriya ordered as he leapt out of the water, getting behind Nomu and throwing a punch forward toward the bio-engineered beast's back. "SMASH!" He declared as his fist made contact with the creature's kidneys, creating a huge shockwave, sending huge waves of water backward and taking down street lamps near the entrance, even destroying the floodlights along the walls at the edge of the facility.
Midoriya panted at the exertion of using such devastating force, but sighed in relief. (That should've done it! No way he's still standing! Tana should be safe. No we can get Asui out of here! Alright!) He thought happily. However, he didn't have much time to celebrate when he realized that Nomu wasn't even fazed by the attack. And worse yet, all he had done now was get the beast's attention. (Where'd he come from? Wait, hold on. It didn't... hurt him?) The boy mentally questioned in disbelief as Nomu was not showing any sign of damage and even grabbed Midoriya by the arm and lifted him just as he had for Tana.
He then thought back to Tsuyu's words back on the boat. "If they villains spent so much time planning this attack, then they probably figured out a way to kill him." Her words rang through his head.
(No way...) Midoriya said in his mind out of disbelief.
"You're pretty powerful." Shigaraki complimented, while not even looking away from Tsuyu. "And that 'Smash' of yours? Are you one of All Might's disciples?" The villain asked, before dismissing the boy rather quickly. "Doesn't matter. I'm done with you now." He said as Nomu turned his head towards Midoriya, opening is beak-like maw filled with razor sharp teeth, wider than Midoriya's head, making his plans clear. He was actually going to try and bite the boy's head off!
"Don't think so, freak!" Tana snapped, firing a laser beam at the forearm of the arm holding Midoriya, reducing it to bone. And yet, horrifically, Nomu held onto the boy. Even worse, the muscles from the wrist to the elbow bone snaked forward like vines until they reformed the forearm, the flesh and skin regenerating, making the arm look as if it was never damaged. And none of this slowed him down as he leaned in to chomp on Midoriya's cranium.
"You should've gone for the head." Shigaraki told her as he reached out for both her and Tsuyu.
"Good idea!" Tana declared, preparing to fire a beam, this time aimed at Nomu's exposed brain.
"Ribbit!" Tsuyu cried out as she used her tongue to try and wrap around and save both her friends, all while Shigaraki reached for her again to disintegrate her for real.
Everything seemed to slow down as Nomu's jaws came towards Midoriya, Shigaraki's hands going for both Tsuyu and Tana, the monster girls aiding Aizawa trying to get past the villains to save their teacher and their friends, then finally Aizawa's blood spilling onto the floor. But then, the doors were completely blown off the entrance of the USJ. Everyone, both hero and villain, even the mindless Nomu, looked towards the entrance.
The only one not looking was Midoriya, whose eyes were tightly shut in fear. However, he slowly dared to open them when he realized her never felt any pain or injury, looking up to see the massive cloud of dust coming from the entrance.
Slowly, a muscular figure walked through the dust cloud, the students smiling in relief when they saw who it was. A massive foot then stomped down, clearing some of the dust. "Have no fear, students... I am here." All Might declared as he emerged from the dust cloud, a furious snarl on his face in place of his normal hopeful smile.
"Alright! Just in the nick of time, Mighty Man!" Tana said in relief.
"Ribbit." Tsuyu croaked out as she looked on, her tongue wrapped around Midoriya's waist to keep him away from Nomu.
Midoriya looked on in shock at his mentor. "He's here... All Might." He said as All Might threw his jacket away.
Meanwhile, Shigaraki actually seemed pleased with this development. "Ah. Looks like our game's getting a 'Continue'." The villainous leader said, sounding quite pleased with what was happening.
