The Creed

I don't own RWBY/Assassin's creed. They are owned by rooster teeth and Ubisoft.

Now I do have a good idea on where I want this story to go but if anyone has suggestions and if they fit with the direction I am going I'd be glad to use them. Now the story.

Chapter 2

The cold, wet air of the Island of Berg was setting into his bones. Even with his trusty Pumpkin Pete jacket and blue jeans on, it was getting to him. I have to move faster, Jaune thought as he huffed. Running south to the port of Oceanside was a task considering its 2 hours away by car.

With the port so far away he decided to run through the forest and skip the main road. At least that way if they notice he was gone, he could go unseen for a long while. Hopefully long enough to be on a ferry ride to Vale. As Juane ran through the night he failed to notice the small drop off he was approaching.

The dark forest loomed around him as he jogged. His foot snagged a root that stuck out from the mossy forest floor. Jaune tumbled down the small cliff, his head hit a rock. All he knew was black.

Waking with a groan and a splitting headache, Jaune slowly got up, rubbing the back of his head.

Well that wasn't fun, Jaune thought as he shook his head trying to get feeling back.

Standing up he noticed he fell into a cave of sorts. Looking up he could see the light of the broken moon shining in from where he rolled in from. Not seeing a way back from where he fell.

Sighing and cursing, He took his scroll out for light. The small light of the screen on the device gave off small white light that fought back the abyss. The cave was a long corridor . The stalactites and stalagmites that litter the floor and ceiling giving off ominous shadows as they dance with the shaking of the light.

Looking back towards the corridor he starts walking into the shadow that would devour him without his trusty Scroll. Walking down the dark cavern was tenuous at best with the slow pace the small corridor forced him to go. About sixty minutes of walking jaune felt a bash of fresh air hit his face.

Picking up the pace he came out of the corridor into a room that was barren of the stone spear that littered the corridor. This room is about the size of his living room back home. But it had smooth grey walls. It looked to be made out of some kinda metal. Jaune notices at least four other corridors leading into the room, but they have been destroyed by rock falls, making them completely untraversable. All but one with the signs of the early morning sun shining through its long corridor fighting back the darkness of the cave.

The early morning sun coming in through the holes in the ceiling helped light up the smooth room. Looking for a way out he notices what looked like a table, almost a giant pile of rust under a boulder that fell from the ceiling. The table isn't what got his attention. What has Jaune's attention is a shard of what looks like a piece of metal that is flat. The odd thing about it though is that it has soft glowing gold lines on it.

Grasping the shard of metal in his hand it cuts his palm. With the crimson blood spilling to the floor, a great and bright light flashes and knocks Jaune to the ground in pain.

Looking around not seeing anything new or out of the ordinary, looks back at his hand with the odd gold glowing shard in it. Shakes his head. Thinking of dropping the shard of illuminated metal, instead putting it in his pocket and looking toward the bright sunshine coming in from the only other open corridor in the room. Looking one last time around the room and then walking towards the sun.

Exiting the corridor Jaune was blinded by the bright early morning sun, as it did its best to warm everything in its shining rays despite the autumn weather fighting back and making a low hanging on on the ground. Regaining the ability to see Jaune was able to see the cleaning he was in. It was small with the high canopy of the trees blocking out the sun to the north of the cleaning. Looking south he saw his target through the trees. The port town of Oceanside. The largest commercial and agricultural port on the island of Berg, even from his spot in the clearing he can see the many container ships moving from and to the port. Running his hand through his sweaty hair and starting his way down to the town.

Taking an hour to get to the town left him with just 15 minutes to get to his ferry. Running through the town, he tumbled into the body of a giant bear faunus. His giant frame knocked Jaune to the ground for just running into him. As the large man turned to him his world flashed white.

The previous bear fanus is replaced with a man in heavy armor with a red cross on his chest and a flat metal helmet. Out of nowhere a man in white robes with his face obscured by his hood fell on him from the sky. The knight in full plate armor fell to the ground and the assailant flashed a blade on his wrist and barrued it into the knight's neck and then ran off towards a building he didnt recognize. The man ran up the wall onto the roof and ran away. The world flashed back.

The bear faunus reached his giant hand towards him to see if he needed help. Jaune just stared at it. Looking around trying to find evidence of the large knight and the hooded assassin. The bear fanusus just huffed and flatted his bear ears on his head and went about his day.

Jaune sat on his ass in the middle of the busy street. Then he heard the loud bellow of the final horn of the farry. Getting off the ground and racing towards the boat. Not noticing as he did, he was bob and weaving through the people with little effort. Getting to the ferry took less time then jaune expected but as he arrived, it was pushing off. The boat was about five to eight feet from the pier. The only thing in his mind was to get on that boat. Looking around he saw some container left on the edge of the pier. They sat in just a way he knew if he ran at it he could use them to jump to the boat. Now if he wasn't in a rush he'd have stopped to think how he knew that. Running full speed at the container he ran up them and then jumped from the top container about 10 feet in the air to the ferry that was moving away.

In mid air he heard people gasp and curse at him. Then he landed in a roll on the stern of the boat. Huffing in air. The people around him gave him looks of cunersern to annoyance. Sir, do you have your ticket? Asked a voice. Looking up from where he was kneeling stood a finely dressed man in a blue suit. Uhhh yeah I do hold on. Jaune answered by pulling out his scroll and pulling up his ticket he purchased for the ferry. Scanning the code on the scroll. The man nodded and then went about the ferry to check everyone else's ticket.

Finally having a moment to rest. Juane looked back to where he jumped. He took a seat as he thought about it and his strange vision. Deciding he didn't want to think about it after his long run and exploration of the cave, deciding to instead take a nap on the long ferry ride to the mainland of Vale.

3 hours Later middle of the ocean 3 hours from Vale.

Waking with a start from a nightmare he couldn't remember, Jaune was in a cold sweat with nothing to remember what happened. Looking around the ferry, people, human and faunus alike were milling around. Content to be by themselves or with friends and family. Somewhere by the edge of the ferry leaning on the rail. Looking out across the peaceful ocean,

Jaune sat with his eyes closed relaxing, sitting and enjoying the cool air coming off the ocean. While sitting there on a bench, came a light roaring coming out across the ocean. The sound gets louder by the second. Looking up and around trying to find the cause of the noise. Off to the east from the coast of the island of Vital came three bullheads. The three bullheads came closer and closer to the ferry. Gaining on us pretty fast. Not being the only one to notice everyone else on the boat saw them and started to murmur amongst each other to see if anyone knew what was going on.

Getting closer by the second. The bull heads closed the distance fast and as they arrived above the ferry. Their engines roared with life defining almost everyone there as they hovered above the ship.

Jaunes' eyes widened as he saw the logo on the side. A red wolf head with three red claw marks through it was there on the side. The White Fang! Jaune yelled out loud. Everyone on board ran to the inside of the ship for cover as about thirty men and women in black and white outfits with a grim like mask jumped from the bullhead to the deck of the ferry. Knocking people to the ground, both human and faunus alike.

Being closer to them as they fell upon the civilians of the ship like locusts from the sky, ran towards the closing door of the hull of the ship. Turning his back to the White Fane was a stupid mistake, as he head he was hit in the back of the head with a rifle from one of the grunts. Falling to the ground his world went dark.

Waking slowly, Jaune noticed his hands were tied and was sitting next to the other passengers of the ferry being guarded by at least four white fang goons. Looking around he found that he and the rest of the passengers were put on the bow of the ship in one large group. Next to him was a young antelope faunus with a small child clinging to her as they sat next to him, they were crying their eyes out and calling for the white fang to stop.

In front of the 4 guards that guarded the group was a group of 2 white fangs that were kicking an adult human man. The man was in a fetal position covering his head as they beat him. The small girl next to him cried out Daddy!. Figuring that the man the whitew fang was beating was her father.

Patting his side, his sword was gone. Looking around he saw one of the guards with his back to him had it at his side. Jaune questioned what to do himself watching the goons beat the man. Looking around some more he noticed his and everyone else bags were in a group of their own with a goon going through them slowly. Shaking his head knowing he can't get to his bag without a weapon.

"Psst, hey, kid," A voice next to him said. He looked to his right to see an old man tied up as well.

"Hey are you a huntsman?" the old man asked.

"Just in training." He answered the man.

"Well here this will do you better than me," he said as he held something out to him in his tied up hands. Going to grab it the man dropped a pocket knife in his hands then quickly went back to being quiet.

Thinking about what to do and watching for more goons to show up. He slowly started to cut the ropes from his hand. Leaving them on to appear like he was still tied up, the guard with his family sword glanced back and peered over the group.

The ferry was replaced with a tiled roof top with a man running over the roofs towards another man overlooking a group of soldiers beating a small group of people. As the man in white got closer the man overlooking the group pulled out a small knife from his waist that had about 20 other small knives on it, and threw the knife at the guard. As the guard was hit in the back he fell from the roof. He felt the man that threw the blade jumped from the roof onto a soldier below and plunged his wrist blade into the man's neck. Standing up from his kill he pulled out a sword from his waste it was a typical long sword. He raised the word at an angle and put his back to a wall. The soldiers surrounded him. One attacked from the left he counted the blade and cut the man's neck open and fell back to the wall. The ferry replaced the street with the bodes.

I must be going crazy but that does give me an idea. Jaune thought.

Slowly kneel- crawling through the crowd he made his way to be behind the guard with his sword.

Am I really about to kill this guy? Jaune asked himself.

the man who was getting beat made a gurgling noise gaining jaunes attention. Looking at the man who was getting beat one last time. He gathered his courage and slowly stood behind the white fang guard. Ignoring everything around him except for the kill in front of him. Taking the knife and plunging it ino the base of the guards skull. While doing this he grasped his sword from the waist of the guard. And drew it as the rogue faunus fell to the ground. Gathering the attention of the rest of the guards.

While putting them in front of him and his back to a wall of the ferry they raced at him and surrounded him.

"You human shit stain just killed my brother, now you are dead," Said one of the white fang members.

Flashing his short sword. While one flashed a mace, and the other too showed daggers. With the wall behind him he tried to copy the man in white's style with the sword in front of him at an angle with a small bend to his knees with one foot back.

"Haha what are you doing human your shaking like a leaf. Think you can take us on," The same goon said.

It was true though just killing a man and now facing off against a group of terrorists was a foolish idea. It scared him to his core. Looking behind the group he saw the man who was getting beat move toward his wife and child. The dead body of the fang member slowly makes a giant pool of blood under him.

While being distracted a glint of light to his left notified him of the incoming blade, stepping

Back and letting the blade pass him he struck out with his sword. Knocking the man off balance and creating an opening to shove his blade into the enemy's stomach. Kicking the man off his sword and falling back into place with his back towards the wall, looking shocked he pulled the move off. Blood rolled down the fuller and off the side of the blade painting the sword crimson. He held it at an angle the three remaining guards looked shocked as he did, making it hard to decide who tried to attack next.

Trying to be cool and collect jaune said "well who's next."

On the inside he was trying to keep from vomiting. All in his mind was helping the people here to safety from the terrorist group.

A goon with a dagger charged him. Grabbing the woman's wrist and twisting it as she stabbed at him, he kicked her kneed out with a sickening crack, and drove her own knife into her neck leaving her gurgling on the ground and spraying him in blood. Leaving 2 guards left.

"The hell they said there wouldn't be any huntsmen in the boat," A goon said as he turned and ran, leaning one goon left.

"Coward!" The last goon yelled.

Turning his attention back to jaune he charged with his mace. blocking the hit almost knocked his sword from his hand, dodging from the second hit and pressing up against the wall the mace knocked past his guard and knocked the wind of him. Crumplin to the ground he voidied his stomach of all it had. Rolling to the side as he saw his enemies feet in front of him narrowly missing his head. He grabbed the dagger from the womens corpse and plunged it into the man's knee. Making him fall to the ground. Standing up jaune brought his sword down and took the goons head.

Standing in the middle of the circle of corpses, juane stood huffing with Crocea Mors being held lightly in his hand. Shaking slightly while looking at the bodies of the slayed terrorists. Juane felt woozy light headed and on the verge of passing out. Looking down at his hands seeing his hands covered in the life essence of those he'd killed trying and failing to come to terms with this decision he has made for the innocent on the boat.

Then a feeling of weightlessness overcomesm him as he is sent into the far wall with a solid thud. Blood leaking from his now shredded metal chest plate. Looking up from his kneeled position, He sees a tall red headed faunus with what looks like bull horns jetting towards the back of his head. His face is covered with a bone white mask to conceal his identity, behind him is the fourth and last member of the guards who made a run for it. Visions slowly fading from exaction and blood loss just as the world goes black he sees the masked faunus go for the killing blow, but only to be stopped by a sliver segmented scythe, and a Voice calling out "Hang on kid."
