2This is in the Super Robot Wars category because for some ungodly reason Getter Robo is not a separate fanfic category.
A young man is seen building a figure of some kind. For a while he had been painting it, as well as giving it accessories and many different parts.
"Finally, it's done." He says as he puts the finishing touches on the figure. It was a Gunpla. A model kit of the popular anime franchise, Mobile Suit Gundam. However this one in particular was different.
Parts of the figure, such as the hands, it's forearm, the upper chest, the head, and the feet were colored red, with red stripes on the legs. Its mid torso was white, and its bottom torso was yellow. Its head was shaped with two big horn-like appendages on the sides of it, giving it a very wide V like shape. Two pieces of its chest, originally yellow, were now colored green. Not only that but it also had three spike like blades on both of its arms. But probably the biggest addition was a fabric red cape attached to it's back.
After putting the finishing touches on his Gunpla, he left his apartment and went to a place called the "Gundam Base" which was really just a store for Gunpla model kits. Afterwards he went into a room filled with arcade looking machines. After he sat down on the chair and put on the VR headset, he placed his Gunpla on the scanner. After it finished scanning, the Gunpla eyes glowed.
After entering the game, he used the menu to get to the hangar. He walked passed all of the other Gunpla, but stopped at his machine and gave a toothy grin.

Isoge takeki yuusha yo
(Make haste, brave fighter,)
He entered the machine and afterwards it proceeded to the catapult deck.
Toki no meiro o hashiri nukero
(And run through the maze of time)
After giving another grin, the young man shouted.
"Ryoma! Build Getter Diver! Taking off!"
UNTIL THE DYING DAY!
Afterwards the machine launched and the title screen appeared.
Build Getter Robo Diver
Several scenes go by in quick succession.
Yami ni fukaku ugomeku urea kemono no sakebi
(The howl of a starved beast writhing deep within the shadows)
A giant axe is thrown to the ground, interrupting a fight between two mobile suits. Technically three but the third was out of commission. One colored white with blue on it, another fully orange, and the last was a black mobile suit.
Jaaku na kehai satottemo, yatsu wa osorezu tachimukau
(Should it catch the scent of evil, it will stand and fight without fear)
Panning up showing the build Getter Diver looming over them with his head shadowed in silhouette, nothing but it's eyes glowing.
Sakerarenai sadame no uzu no naka
(Within the maelstrom of inevitable fate)
We shift to a scene where the pilot meets up with the pilots of the orange and blue mobile suits, along with a girl with light blue hair and a white dress.
Kizu o outtemo sagashi tsuzukeru
(It seeks answers regardless of injury)
The Getter then stops a big red mobile suit from hitting the blue one, using two axes, one big and one small, to block the attacks.
Taga tame ni nani o suru no ka?
(What to do? And for whom?)
Ryoma meets and talks with a man wearing a silver mask and wearing cloak. He later meets up with a wolfman who does martial arts, as well as a girl in a ninja outfit piloting a much smaller yellow mobile suit.
Hoero ryuu no senshi yo
(Roar out, dragon warrior,)
Ryoma shouts in rage as he uses the smaller axe weapon to slice enemy mobile suits to pieces, and then throws the axe at an enemy, slicing it, he pulls out the bigger axe weapon and continues slashing away.
Inochi no hi o moyashi tsukususe
(And burn your life's flame down to its embers!)
We cut to the Build Divers in space fighting an onslaught of mobile suits lead by a man covering his face in a black cloak, and Ryoma blasts as many as he can with a beam fired from his Gunpla's abdomen.
Isoge takeki yuusha yo
(Make haste, brave fighter,)
After escaping the large meteor looking ship, he turns around seeing a giant Big Zom mobile suit, facing it as his cape flows.
Toki no meiro o hashiri nukero
(And run through the maze of time)
He grits his teeth in anger as he stares at the giant machine, clutching the big version of his custom Getter Tomahawk in his hand.
UNTIL THE DYING DAY!
The Getter charges towards the Big Zam, screaming at the top of his lungs, as he remembers the ninja girl crying, and the screen freeze frames on the shot of the Getter readying it's Getter Tomahawk for it's attack.
