The Letters that changed everything
Chapter 1 To whom it may concern
Three years 46 weeks 5 days 7 hours and 52 seconds that's how long it was since they had what would be their last fight. One month 3 days 1 hour and 16 seconds that's when he had visited me again to help him. Walter still trying to comprehend everything that had happened to his life sometimes being haunted by his own dreams. As he got up for another day he went to the shower before stopping and decided it wasn't worth it right now. Running down the stairs to his desk hoping to see everyone there. Just like they used to be hoping it was only a nightmare only to have the heartbreaking pain of not seeing them. Slowly he pulls out 7 pieces of paper as he slowly thinks about where he had gone wrong.
Cabe woke up once again feeling full of life yet empty knowing the family Walter built to keep them all safe was destroyed and he didn't know how to help or how to fix it. He slowly slips out putting on his Homeland uniform as he does everyday and wonders what is instore for today. Cabe pulls out his phone to call Walter. "Hey Cabe! How can I help you today?" said Walter as Cabe quickly responded "Do you need me to take you anywhere or need any help with cases?" before hearing a click.
Meanwhile at the CP the new team has only start to take over a vast majority of the jobs. Paige once again comes back to the office with Happy more exhausted than ever. "Paige, are you ok you do look like you are doing well?" said Happy as she stood there Paige looked at her "Happy I am fine just raising a 17-year-old and a 3-year-old doesn't get any easier especially when the 17-year-old still blames you for everything wrong in their life and the 3-year-old hasn't even met their father." Slowly, Sly and Toby come over as they hear Paige's voice cracking in distress. Sly finally speaks up "Do you think we could ever fix things with Walter not for us but for your baby and Ralph." As he finishes Paige turns at him with anger in her eyes but just before she can say anything she gets a notification on her phone that she just had money deposited in her account. Paige turns to walk away as Toby stops her "Paige what's going on your phone gave you a notification and you are trying to get away from us now." As he finishes Happy slaps him across the head as Paige responds, "I just had $750,000 deposited into my account and I don't know why or by who." Toby asks to sit in as she calls the bank to try and figure it all out.
Walter looks at the blank paper as he finishes the final transfer of most of his money over to Paige so if anything happens to CP, she would at least be able to take care of Ralph and not have to worry financially about anything and with one last breath he sets each paper next to each other as to write each person. Walter's last wishes with a chuckle he grabs envelopes and writes down addresses and notes on them so that each person knows what to do except for Ray and Ralph they wouldn't have to worry about any of this. Slowly, getting up going to the car he goes to the post office paying extra saying all the letters needed to be delivered at 6:00 am and signed for and that they only need to worry about the address the recipient will know what to do with them. Leaving to board a plane using his fake ID and credit card to make sure nobody would find him.
