25Chapter 13 The family
Finally, it was over Walter's thoughts went everywhere he couldn't focus, and it bugged him how they all came after they left him and logically speaking, they should not be here but yet they were right in front of him. Slowly, Walter turned looking at each on of them the slap just a few minutes ago felt so real but was afraid he was just living a fantasy looking at them all as they looked at him quizzically trying to figure out what is going on in his head.
"Hey 197 whatcha thinking in that big head of yours" Toby said as Happy jabbed him right in the ribs.
"This can't be real they left me none of this is real. Right none of them would comeback for me I hurt them all with my white lie but I didn't want to hurt anyone and there is no reason for them to come save me" Walter muttered so quietly that nobody could understand him but he stared at each on before he decided he had to know if he was in reality or a dream as punched himself in the face hoping if it was a dream he would wake up so that this pain would go away, and he would no longer be tortured by his mind. Everyone stat there as their jaws just fell as they didn't understand why he would punch himself after everything they had gone through.
"Walter what's wrong why did you punch yourself" Paige pleaded wondering what could have happened.
"Son, you don't need to beat yourself up this is not your fault for what happened" Cabe said as tears started to form in everybody's eyes from the display they just saw. Walter slowly opened his eyes to see everyone still there in front of his eyes as he finally started to cry. Paige sat there in awe the man she loved and broke sat in front of all of them crying and she didn't know why or what to do and slowly pulled him closer to him as she felt his body freeze and shiver as if he was in imminent danger like she might hurt her as everyone just stared at the sight where Walter had reverted back to a machine rejecting everyone's touch the only thing that made this all worse what that he was even rejecting Paige subconsciously and nobody knew what to do.
"Walt, are you ok? We all know you would never hurt Paige in anyway and we are sorry we all walked out on you" Happy choked out as she finally started to cry knowing that everyone here was to blame for what happened to him, they should have trusted him and not left him hell does this make them just as bad a Collins.
"YOU all left him I had no choice you don't say we all walked out on him I was forced to leave after you all thought he would hurt my mom, but I know he wouldn't because he promised me that he wouldn't ever hurt her again after he sent her to go work for Ellia. Hell, he still cared so much after he thought you guys were secretly making fun of him to give her a job that would take care of her financially" Ralph roared out at them before looking at his younger brother apologizing to him for his tone but everyone had hurt his dad and mentor he stood up pulling Walter closer to him and away from his mom and he promised him that he wouldn't let anyone hurt him again less they face his wrath.
"What's going on" Walter Jr. asked as he looked at his brother with pleading eyes wanting to know what exactly was going on.
"Everyone in here but you and I, has somehow hurt our dad' Ralph said through gritted teeth, so he didn't go off on all the damage they had done to Walter.
Everyone sat there staring at Ralph as he sat next to Walter trying to get him to open up to him "Cabe lets get out of here" Ralph barked in a Walter tone as he sat there glaring at them all daring them to say just one thing to piss him off right now.
"Ralph…" Paige started to speak but he interjected her, "DON'T RALPH ME I DIDN'T HURT HIM YOU ALL DID AND NOW I AM TRYING TO FIX THE ONLY FATHER FIGURE I HAD YOU ALL LEFT HIM AND FORCED ME TO GO WITH WHEN TOBY COULD HAVE FIXED IT ALL BY LETTING YOU KNOW WALTER WAS NOT LYING AND SLY COULD HAVE BEEN REASONABLE KNOWING WALTER WOULD NEVER WANT ANYONE BUT MY MOM AND HAPPY YOU COULD HAVE STUCK BY THE ONE GUY WHO GAVE YOU THIS FAMILY AND MOM YOU COULD HAVE SUGGESTED THERAPY OR SOMETHING BECAUSE HE WAS THERE BY YOUR SIDE FOR YEARS EVEN WHEN YOU CONTINUED TO SEE TIM IN FRONT OF HIM AND RUBBED IT IN HIS FACE AND BROKE HIS HEART EACH TIME YOU DID IT HELL I SOMETIMES WISH HE HAD FEELINGS FOR HER SO YOU COULD SEE THE PAIN YOU CAUSED HIM AND ME WHEN YOU DATED TIM BUT HE LOVES YOU SO MUCH THAT HE SUFFERED KNOWING HE HAD DONE IT AND DID NOT WANT TO HURT YOU HE TRIED TO HIDE SOMETHING THAT WAS SO DAMN INNOCENT BECAUSE HE KNEW YOU WERE INSECURE AND HE DIDN'T WANT YOU TO THINK THAT HE WANTED HER OVER YOU HE DIDN'T WANT YOU TO WORRY AND FEEL LIKE HE WAS GOING TO DISAPPEAR LIKE TIM AND DREW DID TO YOU" Ralph yelled at them all huffing as he glared even more intently at them all as everyone turned around and stared at the ground as Cabe started the vehicle to leave towards the airport hoping to be able to get a flight back to the states today without any delay.
Yuri stood there breaking each finger slowly as Collins screamed in pain "I didn't know you were going to go down there I wanted to get rid of those pesky Americans for you" Collins choked out before his last finger was broken.
"Why would I want them killed in my base of operations where people coming in and out could have found them what if I had a deal tonight and couldn't have gotten rid of the bodies you damn idiot" Yuri yelled at him in his face as he broke his left arm.
Ramone stood there as he told his team to load up the SUV and get ready for departure as he watched Collins slowly getting broken into piece in a sense.
"Do you plan to kill him, or can I take him with me to make him disappear from this world" Ramone whispered in Yuri's ear. "I plan to kill him very slowly for he has done to my family" Yuri whispered back, and Ramone turned and left without another word and hoped that he wouldn't have to ever work with Scorpion again as fun as it was when things don't go according to plan and endangers his brothers and sisters' lives, he rather not have to cross that line of saying goodbye so soon.
Ramone drove off with the team calling Cabe to find out where they were and where everyone was going to meet up at. "Cabe where are you guys at" Ramone barked at him over the phone.
"We are hoping to get tickets home and not have to wait another day here" Cabe responded with just as much bite as Ramone had given him.
"Alright well get us tickets also and we will be there soon" Ramone said as he hung up the phone.
Walter sat there staring out the window as if the world had stopped and he had no idea of what to do and now everything was so confusing as he pulled out his wallet and planned to disappear once again and hopefully this time nobody would find him. Cabe turned and parked the car right back at the rental agency he had gotten it from in the airport and walked in to give the man the keys as they all walked into the airport to get tickets back home to LA. As they walked in to get the flight tickets Walter walked to the bathroom saying he would catch up that they could have the lady hold on to his ticket for him as they nodded Ralph shook his head as he followed Walter and waited at the bathroom stall entrance out of sight so Walter wouldn't see him as everyone was getting the tickets when they noticed Ralph was missing and just assumed he went with Walter to go to the bathroom really quick and walked away after showing the lady pictures of them so she knew who to give the tickets too.
"Cooper, we got Walt back and we will be home as soon as we board the plane we managed to get the last flight out of here" Cabe told her as he explained what all had happened and how Walter may not be ready for any jobs in the near future.
Walter finally had walked out and stepped up to the ticket booth as he requested at ticket to Ireland when behind him Ralph popped up "Make that two tickets ma'am my dad must have forgotten me with all the stress that is going on with his job right now" Ralph piped up smirking at Walter daring him to give him a reason to tell everyone that he was going to Ireland instead of the states.
One hour before Walter's flight and everyone but Scorpion had boarded to go back to the states. Cabe looked around for signs of Ralph and Walter. "Paige, you seen your son and Walt" Cabe looked around starting to panic as he felt a sense of dread of something terrible happening to him and was hoping he was wrong.
"No, they should have been here by now why don't we go ask the ticket lady if they had gotten their tickets yet and we can go from there" Paige stated hoping both men were ok as they all walked back to the ticket booth with only 10 minutes before they could no longer board the flight.
"Have you seen these two we are looking for them and they have not shown up after I told you to give them the tickets back to the states if you could be any help Ashley it would be great" Cabe asked with a tone of desperation in it.
"Yes, the older man went to buy a ticket to Ireland when the kid said he had meant to get two tickets for the two of them saying the man was his dad" Ashley said as she looked thoroughly confused on the whole situation.
"Do you have any tickets for Ireland available" Paige asked with a sense of panic rising in her heart.
"We only have five seats left" she said as if she didn't care what happened she didn't really care but yet these people seemed very suspicious to her but didn't want to let them know and sold them the tickets and as they left, she called security to check on the man with the kid so that they could deal with these people. Toby ran towards the terminal as he got close, he saw a bunch of security grabbing Walter.
"Stop don't touch that man" Toby yelled as he ran towards them attempting to stop them as Cabe followed him running right next to him with the rest of them following.
"That's my son don't touch him" Paige shouted fearing once again she might lose Ralph.
"Leave him alone now or I will delete all records on everyone of you or I could make you all look like criminals" Ralph seethed out as they tried to pry the young boy from Walter.
"Kid we are trying to save you from this man the lady up front was saying he might have kidnapped you" the lead security guard said as he was fighting to free the kid. Cabe finally got there hearing the man fight with Ralph before he pulled his badge out "I am with United States Homeland and you will let that man go as he is a top government asset and that boy sees that man as his father and he has helped that boy's mom raise him to be the man he is today and if you don't think he would delete your digital existence or make you look like a criminal you are wrong he will do anything to anyone who hurts his father figure" Cabe stated as Paige ran up grabbing Ralph and pulling Walter's hand from the men as she glared at them all " What are you doing to my son and my boyfriend" Paige hissed out with obvious anger and annoyance in her voice with everything that was going on at this very moment.
"Sorry sir and ma'am we were only doing our job with the information we were given" stated the man as he and his fellow men let Walter go and left as Walter stood there confused.
"Ralph, what were you thinking" Paige hissed at him.
"I knew Walter was going to try and disappear again, so I was going to follow him and let you know where he was going to go when we got there" Ralph stated in an annoyed voice.
"I am going home so you all won't have to worry about me anymore Scorpion is finished I destroyed it all" Walter stated as he looked at the ground when they called for all passengers to board the plane heading for Ireland.
"Dr. Rizzuto could you come to Ireland I will give you an address and pay for the ticket this is an emergency Walter looks like he is completely destroyed and as if we aren't there for him like we are still all in a different place" Paige pleaded with him.
"Paige yes I can leave tomorrow morning I will book a flight as soon as I get off the phone with you just don't let Walter out of your sight and make sure you try to comfort him the best you can" Rizzuto said as he hung up to quickly book a flight to see Walter and the team hoping he could help as he knew Walter was the only person truly holding that team together for success while Paige held them all together as a family to make sure they would all be included in activities.
What is happening in Ireland will there be a surprise unexpected visitor besides the doctor find out soon :) ENJOY AND WILL BE POSTING SOON it might be a sequel story or may just continue on this one for a bit longer.
