25Chapter 2 The Letters
6:00 Saturday morning and someone is banging on the door "dammit I will be right there" yelled Cabe with a voice louder than intended as he woke Allie with a jump. Cabe opening the door slowly with his gun ready incase someone was trying to kill them only to see a mail carrier right in front of him "What do you want mail isn't delivered here till noon." Stated Cabe in a matter-of-fact tone "I am on a special delivery and was to deliver this to you and an Allie at 6:00 am. Cabe quickly tells him to give him the letters then but is instead given a paper to sign stating that he got the letters first as he calls Allie to come and sign for hers. Quickly they shut the door and on it they see date, coordinates, and a time. Allie quickly asks Cabe if that is tomorrow as he is completely shocked and not sure what the letter could be he rips it open to read it.
Dear Cabe,
My family had always made me feel so insignificant and when I had met you I didn't know that someone could be a father after arresting someone who would be labels an international criminal and for that I thank you. I love you so much so for your hint those coordinates have a special meaning to me and to the whole gang as that is where everyone saw me being a human showing emotions strong than anything else and if you need one more hint the one of the most important people in my life was shot into space from that spot. When you do go I hope that you will not be angry with what I did. I want you to be safe and make sure to take care of my family all of them even though they left me I love them to much to leave them to die.
Cabe I also want you to know it is partially thanks to you that I became the man I was if it never showed I am sorry. I want you to know that no matter where I am I will always love you dad. Thanks for everything and hopefully when everything is done, I can see you again but if not I want you to know that each person who got a letter when you see them got enough money to take care of them. If the worst happens, I don't want you to ever cry for me as I have lived my life for the greater good and if this is the last mission, I take for the greater good know that I took it knowing my odds of survival are less than 25% and if I do survival my brain has a survival chance of only 2%. Stating these facts is helping me come to terms with my mission and I am guessing you have figured it out at this point, and I hope you will be ok. Knowing with this message you have probably figured out what I am doing. Before, you even think about it just know I destroyed Cassie in the garage the only copy of her left is on my laptop. I love you Cabe it was nice to finally call you dad even if it was only in this letter.

Slowly Cabe looked at Allie with tears in his eyes as he dropped his letter a check fell out without him noticing and Allie just held him. He turned to her as she looked at her envelop that had the same coordinates and everything on it. She slowly opened it hoping that it was nothing bad.
Dear Allie,
Thank you for coming into my dad's life and I am glad to see him so happy and I thank you for that. I know he is crying right now or will be soon depending on who reads their letter first. I want you to be his rock when and if he sees the team at the location but please don't tell him or he might not go and if he gets mad when you two see them, I hope you can help him. I want you to know the location you are going to is the exact spot where I shot the rocket, I had worked on hoping to save my sister and when I didn't, we shot the rocket up with her ashes into space. I hope that is everyone is doing ok as for me I am going searching for Collins to end everything between him and I but again please don't tell anyone even if they may have figured it out just tell them that I am on a mission for my personal EQ to better myself and to lose my IQ god complex. Thank you again for everything you became like a mom to me and while our time together was short, I hope you know I will always be thankful for it. Make sure you and Cabe don't spend all 1.5 million in one place.

6:15 am, Happy and Toby jump hearing a loud pound on the door as they slowly drink their coffee not knowing what the hell could be at their door this early. The Mail boy looks at them with two papers in hand for them to sign as they sigh asking why he is here this early. "I was told to deliver 7 letters starting at 6 am the first one had to be delivered sir." Said the mail boy. Thank you they said as they gave the papers back and grabbed the letters. They stared confused as the numbers on them as the could make out the time and date they couldn't figure out the coordinates. Toby then in a rush open his letter just to have his jaw drop when he saw the handwriting he started cry silently as he read it.
Dear Toby,
I never thought I would ever be giving you a letter like this but statistically anything could happen, and this did happen. I know you have been still trying to have kids so I made a large deposit of money for you and Happy to try a few more times I also put all your books in a box that will be shipped to you in the event that the worst happens. I have also deposited 1.25 million dollars into Happy's bank for you both but she won't know for about day or two I have been making sure you all will be taken care of in the event I don't come back and things were to go south for your guys new company. I love you so much Toby you are a great friend and I am so sorry for how things ended up playing out also if you look up the coordinates I will know but I know having the lowest IQ you wouldn't remember the coordinates but I hope when you get to the spot you and everyone else can relive the memories and remember the best of me even if it is only one memory I hope you will keep it.
I also hope that if I don't come back you guys would all take over the garage I have paid it off for you all and if not well all your stuff has been moved out knowing that you guys probably wouldn't have wanted the garage any ways. I hope you know that I am leaving so that I can protect all of you and if I don't come back I hope this last act for the greater good will always keep everyone safe. I hope that you and Happy are very happy I miss seeing both of you fighting even when I had told you that you two couldn't date and that's when I saw how much you two loved each other. I just hope you never forget how we met that was one hell of a rid to get you and even though it hurt you all starting a company to compete against me I will never wish any ill will against you guys.

Slowly as Happy saw Toby cry, she opened her letter mutter "O'Brien I swear if you are doing anything I think you might be doing you're an ass and I am going to make you pay for it." Just before reading it she sees Toby make his way to the computer as he types in the coordinates only to see an image of the exact rocket, they shot Megan's ashes into space with and under it he was a note that said Toby I knew you'd forget having only a 170 IQ stay safe my friend as he started crying even more he told Happy to read hers to herself as he had because it maybe personal.
Dear Happy,
Well, you were my first wife if its anything to be happy for right Happy. I hope the joke made it easier to read the rest of this because I already know you will want to kick my ass if not kill me afterwards, but I am sorry for what you will read. I hope you never forget the phone you rigged for us when we needed it and couldn't afford one. I want you to take care of Toby knowing him though he is putting on the tough guy act. I hope you can help him not psychoanalyze these letters once you all are together. As, I have also told Toby I have donated a sum of money for you two to continue trying for kids and I have even put in a good word for you both so that you could adopt if you two have decided to do that. I know you haven't seen it yet, but I have also deposited 1.25 million dollars into your bank Toby may try to gamble again when he reads his letter. I hope that whatever happens you and Toby will always be happy. I wish you all the best and hope everything works out for you.
Happy when you get to the location, I hope that you will remember the good memories of me. I hope that you won't be to mad with me for doing my final greater good act. I know you don't completely understand what I mean by that, but you know when I say it, I am doing something reckless. I am though extremely reckless, and I don't regret what I am about to do. You were a great friend and I love you so much you were like the protective sister that I miss so dearly even though you will never replace Megan you were like a second sister and watched over me and protected me like Megan did.

As Happy finished her letter she started to slowly cry silently as Toby slowly makes his way over with tears falling as he pulls her into his arms just so they can hold each other. Happy as she tries to talk ends up just sobbing even more. Toby quietly remembering how Walter saved his life from the debts he owed and how he was so stupid to leave a man who would give his own money to pay off another mans debt. Happy slowly thinking about how Walter became her first friend and how he covered their marriage so toby wouldn't be hurt how she was so stupid when Walter gave everything for them and the rest of the team.
7:00am As the mailman wandered the street looking for the house, he found a man laying in the lawn as the man looked up he saw the guy staring up as he asked for a Ray. "Brosef I am Ray but how can I help you?" said Ray. The guy ran up had him sign for the letter and boy and left again.
Dear Ray,
Hi, Ray it is Walter and I wanted to thank you for everything and to let you know just as fast as I got Paige then I had lost her just a quick it feels like. Yet, even though I ruined it all with an innocent evening with a friend I still love Paige and it hurts more everyday knowing how much I hurt her. I hope when you see the team and I hope you do see them so that you can properly relay my feelings to them seeing as I can never properly tell them. You seem to be able to understand me and just know my mind better than anyone so thank you, the address is to the beach, where we launched Megan into space, and you should not have to much trouble finding them. Also, in the box I have a laptop with a video for Paige please make sure she is around nobody when she sees it. Also, in the garage I have a small box in my loft in the desk with all mementos of each member and at the school there is a spot I marked before leaving where Ralph put his time capsule if you could get them and take them to the team you can.

Slowly, Ray looked as he made his way to garage to grab the box and opened it to see all the mementos even seeing a picture of Walter and him together bringing tears to his eyes. After crying for about what seemed like an hour but was only 10 minutes, he went to Ralph's old school to grab the time capsule before seeing everyone to give them a piece of his mind. "How could they Walter did everything he could for them he loved each and everyone of them" shouted Ray almost a little to loud as he made his way to the hotel by the beach for the night.
7:45 am, Sylvester woke with a loud bang on his door causing his anxiety to spike way higher than he'd like for just waking up. Making his way to the door as the pounding continued only to hear a loud yell saying, "Mail Delivery for a Sylvester Dodd." As, he opens the door a receipt for delivery is shoved into his hand with a pen for a signature. After, signing the paper the man gives him the letter saying sorry for delivering it so late.
Dear brother,
I know you are probably still mad at me, but I hope you will one day forgive me for whatever I did wrong. I want you to know Florence is still waiting for you to call her. I also did fire her from what is the end of Scorpion. I know you don't like money, so I have your rent paid for the next 10 years and any store you go to just tell them when you check out that Walter had paid for it ahead of time if they still hassle you call homeland, I had Director Cooper help me with setting that up for you.
I am officially at this point ending Scorpion but before it is I am doing the final mission to make sure you and everyone else will always be safe. I am nothing more than a means to end this madness once and for all. Maybe, one day I will see you all again but if not, I am probably seeing Megan and I cannot wait for either for either way I will see all the people I love. I hope one day you find you will find it to forgive me. Also, I have left you the rights to Happy's wench I forgot to give it to her and this check for how much the company has made from the wench.

8:30 am, Ralph woke up angry as usual pouring his cereal when someone came knocking on the door. "Mom your new boyfriend is here I bet" said Ralph with bile and hatred in his voice as he missed the only man, he saw capable of being his dad and is the dad to his little brother Walter Jr. Soon, Paige emerged with Walter Jr. in tow only to say, "Ralph you know I haven't seen any man since Walter has left and you know I still love him, but I can't help my insecurities your father left me with" as sorrow filled Paige with sadness and regret. As, she opened the door a guy just stood there staring as he heard everything and didn't know what to say so he just handed her a paper to sign and asked for a Ralph so he could sign his paper also as they both finished signing the papers the man handed them both and envelope and also a package addressed to Paige.
Dear Ralph,
I know you are probably mad at your mother, but it is not her fault it was mine for doing what I did even if it was just as friends, and I should have told her. Please if not for yourself for me I love you as the son I wish I could have but now I will never have one. I am sorry for everything, but I have left you and your mom enough money for you to live a nice life and I left you the garage so when you turn 18 you can have it if you want, or you can sell it. I miss you buddy and I hope you do many great things in life greater than anything I ever did. Hope that you never feel like love is a waste because even though your mom hurt me, I still love her to the ends of the world, and nothing will ever change that her touch as a woman is the only touch I can handle and as much as it hurts because of that I am glad that I can only love her. I love you buddy maybe I will see you soon. Before you try to find me with Cassie or anything I did take it apart.

As Ralph finished his letter it fell from his hands as he started to cry before he went over to his mother just to hold her as he cried on her shoulder. She couldn't understand why Ralph was crying but he was, and it broke her heart. Slowly she moved him to the couch as she got him to sit and she moved to grab his letter and folded it before opening up her letter. Just as she opened it she saw something with it and she grabbed them. She had gasped as she found a locket necklace that when she opened it there was a picture of her and Walter on one side and a picture of the three of them on the other side when she felt an engraving on the back that said "mo Chridhe" which made no sense to her so she looked it up using every search engine she could finally finding out it meant My sweetheart in Gaelic. Then she saw a check in there for 3.5 million dollars. Immediately she called Richard Ellia to see if Walter had done any secret jobs to make this kind of money or how he got it. "Richard did you give Walter 3.5 million dollars?" inquired Paige as Richard thought "No, I didn't but I did pay him about 15 million why?" just then Paige hung up as she started to struggle to breath before she opened the letter itself.
Dear Paige,
First and foremost, I am sorry for not telling you the truth about going to the convention. I am sorry I wanted to only spare your feelings and I know more than anything I didn't want to cause you any pain and Toby said that if I had told you, it would only hurt you, so I just bottled it up to take all the pain upon myself. I also want you to know whomever you end up with will be lucky to have an amazing woman like you in their life. You are my heart, my soul, and my calm. Everyday I always felt I was in the middle of a storm and the only thing that made that storm go away was you and I will never forget the feelings I have for you mostly since to this day they remained unchanged. You will forever be my first love and last love. Thank you for everything and letting me to experience what true love was sorry for ever calling it junk science. Thank you for the first kiss we had as an experiment as it made me realize even more how much I love you and that I would do anything to keep you safe. I am also sorry to say this is most likely the last time you will ever hear from me and with that I wanted to leave you a present so that if you ever want comfort, you will have it close by.

As she finally finished reading the letter, she cried dropping her letter next to the couch where Ralph grabbed it and asked if they could read each other's letter to which she agreed as her sons where the only people she had left as a reminder of all the great things Walter did for her life. Slowly, she asked Ralph about a way for them to track Walter. "Ralph, we need to find Walter if not to fix us he at least needs to meet his son" said Paige as Ralph nodded in agreement. Soon, they made their way to the package that had coordinates a date and time on it and almost immediately Ralph spoke up "That's where we launched Megan into space mom!" Paige's jaw almost dropped now even more worried when Ralph finally noticed the necklace and she told him and showed him the picture and he asked if they could get one for dad so when they find him, he can have one of the family too. Finally, they got the package open to see to cassette tapes with one saying, "For Paige" and the second saying "For Paige part 2" and what Ralph noticed was Walter's work laptop, cell phone, and car keys making him frown. Thus, they just sat around all day just crying like the rest of the team did while Ray was setting up everything to confront the people who hurt the man who went though hell to give them a home.
