20I have decided to make a series of progressions for my story so following Russian Bound I now present Irish Laughter.
Chapter 1 the landing
Walter sat frozen next to the window staring out of it with Ralph next to him and to the kid's dismay Walter had put walls up further than what the kid had thought with the mere touch causing Walter to shudder and panic. Slowly, Ralph got up to trade spots with Cabe as it was killing him just to be next to Walter it hurt like he was being dying more and more each time Walter seemed to only grow more distant from them all. Ralph finally sat back down in the seat as the descent was announced quietly crying to himself as he didn't know what he would do without his dad, his mentor, and his best friend. Walter saved him when he was 9 now, he was going to save Walter. Finally, the captain let everyone know that descent was about to start and that everyone needed to buckle up and prepare for descent.
Finally, back on the ground everyone took a deep breathe as Walter quickly moved away trying to get as far away from all of them as he could. Walter Jr. walked away following the man who matched what should be his father and from how his mom and brother were acting he was definitely his dad and he wanted to get to know him and was not going to let him get away. Slowly, everyone came to finally recuperated and ready to go looking around only to see both Walters missing. Eyes looked everywhere with neither one in sight. "Where is my son and Walter" Paige said tearfully knowing full well none of them knew. "My dad and brother are missing now" Ralph felt even more alone now and was even more lonely now even though he knew they were all trying to fix things with Walter to him its their fault because they hurt him and in turn, they hurt himself they ruined the only man capable of being his father.
Walter walked as he neared the rental car center there in the airport when he noticed a kid following him and he stopped and tried to see why the kid was following him. "Dad what's wrong with you" said a small kid standing in front of Walter who looked dumbfounded at the kid as he looked so much like the kid he saw in his dreams of Megan, Gabriel, and Michael.
"I am not your dad I don't have any kids the closest person to being my son was Ralph Dineen" Walter said in a broken voice as he was trying to keep what little sanity he had left intact. His son stood there with tears in his eyes as he started crying feeling betrayed and lied to by his mom and brother as he looked at him. "Ralph told me that you were my father, and he is my brother and he promised that you would love me and not leave me, and my mom said you were amazing genius who saved everyone and cared about his family and company he made".
Everyone started running as in the distance they heard crying of a kid off in the distance and all of them prayed and hoped it was her son and hopefully Walter was with him. Walter looked around panicking as the kid here was crying and claimed him to be the father as he freaked out, he used the phone and called a taxi to take him to Callan to go to his parents' house. Finally, taking a deep breathe he was about to get away from everyone who hurt him and hopefully from his parents' house he could find a discreet location to lose them all for good.
Cabe and everyone had finally got there with Walter Jr. standing there alone crying and hurt by the man they claimed to be his father. "He told me that I wasn't his son" he cried out.
"He is our dad your biologically and mine in heart I only state facts" Ralph told his younger brother as he pulled him closer to help comfort him as he glared at each member of the team knowing full well if the doc and his mom had tried to defuse the situation they could have but instead Toby still had a grudge against Walter for being married to Happy, and his mom had a fear that every man she was with would leave her despite Walter proving otherwise even if he didn't enjoy the things she wanted to do and he could not get his brain to function on the same level as normal people .
"Honey he is your father he is just distraught and we are trying to fix it but it is my fault because I never told him about you because you were born after I left him' Paige told him as she tried to hold him with Ralph as he just pushed her arms away, "Its your fault you left him you broke my dad" Ralph spat out with venom as tears had threatened to overwhelm him.
"Where is Callan I heard him ask for a ride to go there" Walt asked looking at his older brother and the group as they all just stood there in shock as the 3-year-old once again amazed each one of them and quickly ran over to the rental counter getting two cars to hopefully beat Walter to his parents' house as logic dictated that he would go there to regroup and leave after he made a plan from there.
