One Week Later
Jace had just walked in on Clary in a two one one sparring match, that's not what caught his notice, what caught his notice was the gracefulness of her opponents' movements.
If it was not broad daylight, I would swear those two were vampires. Jace thought watching the match when the women said, "Most Vampires will try to bite you right off." The male said, "That's because they can't fight to save their lives."
"True!" The women said, as she commented, "The old ones like me and Drake, we actually know what we're doing."
The male, the one known as Drake said, "Relax hunter, were here doing a favor."
The Female said, "Who better to learn from than the Progenitors of all vampires."
Progenitors... of all vampires? Jace thought as he considered all the NYC vampire's actions.
Moments later the female walks over.
"Vampires In New York causing problems." The Women asked razing an eyebrow as her gaze fell on Jace she said, "Names Lilly."
"Let me ask you something Hunter." Lilly states, "Have you ever wondered why descriptions of us are so unreliable."
"Along with being Vampires, were shapeshifters, we can look like anyone we want."
"So, once you leave here your face changes."
"Not just my face kid."
"Picture the coven's home in your mind, then place your hand on my shoulder."
"Clary stay here and practice with Drake Male vampires fight differently!"
Both Lilly and Jace walk into the nearest shadow and vanish only to reappear outside Hotel Dumort, 116th Street in East Harlem. Lilly was about to walk out into the sun when Jace stopped her.
"I appreciate your concern, but I am unlike any Vampire you've ever met, like my mate I am a daywaker and unlike Simon Lewis I come by it naturally."
"I do have one question; do you want them cowed or do you want them eliminated?"
As she stepped to the door Lilly said, "Jace, whatever happens do not interfere."
Looking up and smiling Lilly said, "I challenge."
"Who" A male disembodied voice asks.
"All of you…" Lilly said as she leapt into the air, Jace could only watch as the bodies started dropping.
Lilly landed right in front of Jace, her skin tone varied from ash gray to black.
The only thing Lilly said was "The Institute at Dusk, or I finish what I started."
Raphael asked, "Who are you!"
"Show up as dusk and you will find out." She said as her skin took on its pinkish glow.
That Night in a room set aside by The New York Institute for meeting with Vampires Lilly sits and waits, The Shadowhunter's look at her.
"Once this is done, I will answer any questions you may have." Lilly said in a willowy tone.
The New York vampire contingent file in as Lilly said, "The one who speaks for you… step forward"
They all watch as she places an empty inkwell on the table and a quill. Faster than anyone can see she opens her palm letting the blood drip into the inkwell, Raphael catches on to what she doing and tries to retreat.
In his mind Raphael hears, one more step and I wipe out you and your entire coven.
"Give me your hand Raphael." Lilly said softly, "If I have to compel you I will, however it will be quite painful."
Her Pupils dilated and then contracted, as Lilly said, "Raphael Give Me Your Hand…NOW!"
The phrase reverberated through the room as Raphael went into a trance, he was trying to fight the compulsion and his best efforts were failing. Everyone watched as he allowed his palm to be cut as he bled into the inkwell
"Mrs. Lightwood if you will." The Aged Shadowhunter looked hesitant, as Lilly said, "If you want a contract no vampire can break, it must be written in blood, both yours and theirs."
Maryse Lightwood cut her own palm and let her blood flow, filling the inkwell, and faster that most could see Lilly had a contract written up.
"How do I know he won't break it anyway." Maryse asks eyeing her unknown benefactor.
"Because if I do… my life is forfeit." Raphael said begrudgingly.
In short order the first signature read Maryse Lightwood, Raphael signature was next followed by the name Lilly.
Melting some wax and mixing in some of the blood Lilly dripped the mixture on the paper then pressed her ring into it when the ring was taken away, they could see a crescent moon with a cross hanging from the bottom.
A disembodied male voice said, "You would call us "The First Ones."
A six-foot two-inch man with dark hair walks into view, saying, "Lilly and I are the progenitors of Homines Nocturnae… Cain was my sire."
Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft. Ft.
In front of the gathered vampires and Shadowhunter's stood two beings serpentine in nature with bone spikes sticking out of their forearms and what could only be called bone horns coming out of the top of their heads.
The female has a skin tone ranging from light gray to black. The male has a skin tone ranging from bright red to bluish black. Every inch of them screams predators.
An inhuman voice said, "Don't drink that, I have no desire to take a sire"
The ink in the well burst into flames.
