Many people were gathered outside the makeshift stage built in Jubilife City, the Capital of Sinnoh. The crowd was chattering loudly, until Cynthia, the Champion and therefore Supreme Leader of Sinnoh, walked on stage. Cynthia was a woman in a black dress with a teardrop ornament, and blonde longhair. Some people had phones recording what she was to say. News crews were both on and off stage. Security guards stood next to Cynthia as she walked to a microphone stand and spoke to the crowd.

"Citizens of Sinnoh, This is the Champion Cynthia Speaking!" The crowd quieted down to hear what she was saying.

"As your leader, I have helped you through many difficult moments, from the 2nd Recession to the Team Galactic Attacks. I was shocked just as all of you when such a trustworthy organization, that indeed, albeit as the Galaxy Team, founded the reigon Sinnoh we all know, and even after handing over power to the League still helped us as the biggest energy company in the reigon, was actually after world domination and destruction," She spoke.

"But, it was not me alone. A trainer named Dawn helped me along the way. It was her who defeated Cyrus in the depths of the Distortion World, and defeated Giratina in combat. And being a trainer of such strength, eventually faced be at the Pokemon League and won."

The crowd gasped, shocked that such a powerful and strong trainer as Cynthia could have lost a battle. Not only that but there would soon be a new leader of the country of Sinnoh - who knew what this would mean.

"As you all know, 135 years back, the Galaxy Expedition Team's Colonial Government handed over power to the Sinnoh Pokemon League, causing the Hisui Region to become the Sinnoh Region, and the League Champion became the Supreme Authority. Under the Yukaro Act of 1893, The Champion loses their title upon losing an official challenge. As such, I am henceforth NO LONGER the Champion of Sinnoh and the leader of the nation. Instead," Cynthia motioned to a curtain with a hallway of mats leading up to it - all this facility was makeshift, as the league building wasn't exactly the most accessible to a large crowd. "I, Cynthia Volo Shirona, am honored to present the new League Champion - Dawn Rei Hikari!"

Dawn Hikari was the girl who walked out to the crowd, her famed Infernape by her side. Dawn was wearing an odd outfit- she was wearing a coat for warmth in the cold Sinnoh Region, but a medium skirt only going down to the knees. She had a beanie hat on. The fire-covered apelike pokemon was standing right next to her - this was her Starter, her first Pokemon that she got from Professor Rowan. After she was on stage, people cheered, although some were shocked the champion was a 10 year old girl - a 4th grader. But she would be an inspiration to many kids around Sinnoh and even the world.

"Uh… Hello everybody! My name is Dawn Hikari, and I am proud to say that I am the new Champion of Sinnoh! The next part is where I'd talk about how I worked hard to get there, but the truth is," she said into the microphone, "It was nevermywork. It was the work if the Pokemon who have helped me on this journey!"

Dawn threw 5 Pokeballs - and out came a Staraptor, a Quagsire, a Scizor, a Porygon-Z, and a Gallade. Staraptor perched its claws km the stage right next to Infernape, as Quagsire waddled to stand right next to them. Scizor also stood there, while Porygon-Z hovered on the other side of Dawn, right near Gallade.

"These are the great Pokemon who have helped me on my journey. Their names are - Kamikaze the Staraptor, Mudmonster the Quagsire, Mantis the Scizor, Norton the Porygon-Z, and Khan the Gallade. And of course, my first partner, Blitz the Infernape! Give them a cheer!" Dawn announced as the crowd cheered. Even she clapped for her Pokemon.

"I do not know how, but I know that Sinnoh will be changing. Team Galactic founded thus reigon, and yet they were the enemy in the end. For such an important group to show their true colors is… disheartening to say the least. But I leave Cynthia in charge as my Chief Advisor. I was lucky enough to be able to skip my 4th grade year of school to start my journey, but I'm going to 5th grade soon - my last year of Elementary School -and as such I will not be able to lead this nation on my own,"

People in the crowd mused at the irony - the new strongest trainer in the country and Supreme Leader of Sinnoh was still in Elementary school. Would she be a capable leader? She did have the strength in battling, but politics is complicated. Dawn herself worried about this.

In the Crowd, a tan skinned woman with brown hair that faded to purple, and a man with black hair, both wearing blue pokeball tshirts and Jean's, were with a little boy - 5 year old Jakob Armani from Floraroma Town."A kid can be a champion!"Jakob thought to himself. Jakob loved the Pokemon of Floraroma Meadow, and he wanted to eventually become a trainer himself. But seeing Dawn up there gave him a new thought in his mind.

"I will be the next champion!"

"But mark my words, I crushed Team Galactic. I will not be a weak leader. I-I promise. So, let's all look to the horizon, for a new day in Sinnoh!" Dawn spoke, raising her hands into the air as the crowd cheered for the new champ. A Spearow flew through the air above the stage."Odd" Rowan thought. Professor Rowan and his assistant Lucas Berlitz were on stage near the back, as were the Gym Leaders and Elite Four, some government officials, and Dawn's best friend, Barry Cedric. Spearow were not a pokemon normally in Sinnoh.

The Spearow flew up to the sky, silhouette in the sunlight. Sinnoh is changing. New Pokemon. Who knew what else would change. And how would it be?

Would it be for the better, Dawn wondered,Or for the worse.

Only time would tell.
