2The walls were beginning to crumble the barrier itself was beginning to crack and with it my strength began to wane. 'It must not be released, I must hold strong'
In the vastness of the forest stood a cloaked figure, with hands out stretched muttering words barely audible in the stillness of the night. "Audi me silva, Audi causam meam, liga ibi will, Fiat lux custodiae' as the muttering continued. Light danced from the tips of their fingers and then light began to weave through the woods shifting and moving quickly through the forest where a darkened cave lay up ahead. It encompassed the entrance and weaved translucently with the reflection of the moon. This will hold I must warn the others, I must not let it escape
With the figure hunched over trying to regain their energy they had lost in there incantation, they did not hear the swiftness of the wind or the crunching of leaves or even the quickness of steps.
"well, well, well, what do we have here" said a voice, the cloaked figure looked up and saw a man with blond hair and red eyes accompanied by a women with fiery red hair and a man whose skin was dark as his eyes were red. "you have no place here young one, I am in no mood for games." "you dare speak to us this way" with a tilt of their head the cloaked figure merely sighed and shook her head "I have much to do and little to no time to parle words with vampires" they did not appreciate the way the cloaked figure spoke "We like it when our meal has some fire in them, we will enjoy feasting on you immensely" The red head looked to her partner as he nodded "It seems my companion would like to take the lead so I shall sit a while on that branch and enjoy the show" He leaped high above and perched himself on the branch. His companion crouched low and began to circle the cloaked figure " are you too scared to show your face I will happily remove your hood along with your head" she said launching at her from her crouched position, the cloaked figure tilted there head and with a twitch of their left hand the red headed vampire froze in the air "As I told you politely I neither have time nor reason to continue this little game of yours" the figure raised their hand outward and with a flick of her wrist the red head went flying into the tree behind her.
Snarling and screaming the red head leapt to her feet and flexed her shoulders " you are not human who are you" " I never said I was human, Assumptions make the best of us fools" at this the red head screamed and began to charge only to stop mid strike by her companion who jumped down from his perch in the tree " It seems we have underestimated you and yet we have no name to place to our humble guest" At this the red head furiously stared down her companion in anger and rage " What do you think you are doing" his reply " I am ensuring we are not to remain fools"
The cloaked figure was tiring and knew that they needed to leave in order to rest and recover but with the arrival of the two vampires her energy was depleting quickly. " I tire of this game of yours if you will not leave willingly I will be forced to remove you permanently" With that being said the figure "fuego escúchame, ven en mi ayuda" raised her arms as flames began to form like a circle around them "traer su final cerca de mí" the two vampires began to step back only to be met by fire "We will leave, if you let us go" the cloaked figure could tell that they would be trouble but for now she did not have the strength to complete the fight but enough to ensure they know the danger they pose. The fire receded at their back but raged stronger and higher near the figure, the red head began to leave but not before saying " this is not over I do not lose"
Once the figure was sure the vampires would not return the figure fell to the ground with harsh breaths " I must find them, I must warn them"
With the moon high above and the stars dancing across the night sky, the figure began to chant again "Las estrellas de la noche sean mi guía" as the words fell from her lips a swirl of blue began to travel from the earth slowly building higher until it encompassed the figure. Then in the blink of an eye there was no one standing there no sign of anyone except for the footprints remaining in the ground.
In a place further south of the woods stood a reservation a place in which the figure knew well a place it found themselves at again as the light began to fade leaving the figure standing along a path of houses where few lights were seen from the outside 'i can feel his energy he must be hear i need his help' As the figure walked along the path she came upon a home 'with a worn concreted path to the door, a porch with a wooden table that has seen may winters and summers by the ageing of the surface and discolouration of the legs potted plants laid strewn along the length of the home of varying types. There were herbs of sorts that whispered of age old use for more than just a dinner seasoning. As the figure moved towards the door more noise began to sound its way to the outside world laughter and conversation music and warmth. The figure raised there pale handto the door *knock,knock,* after a moment of silence a voice could be heard "who is it?" knock,knock, the door began to open as a tall masculine figure with sunkissed skin and deep brown eyes stared back "Can i help you?".
The figure began to lower their hood and as it did, long locks of Mahogany hair spilled from its confines to lay cascading down their back revealing a beauty un like any other the man had ever seen her porcelain face framed by soulful brown eyes and lashes so long they kissed her cheek as she blinked and lips that carry a blush so unlike any he had witnessed. " I must speak to Quil" "and you are?" the women graced him with a smile " My name is Isabella"
