"Hey Hikigaya. I'm sorry for always taking so much of your time. I'm sure you'd rather spend them with your clubmates." Hiratsuka said, in an unusually melanconic tone. Despite his club hours been long over, Hachiman stayed to help out his homeroom teacher with paperwork.

"Don't worry about it. I...don't mind spending time with you." Hachiman replied, his flushed face betraying the stoic tone of his voice.

"Now if only i could get married, i don't always have to deal with all this extra work. I keep getting assigned these activities by the top management cause apparently i'm 'young and single with way too much free time on her hands'. Sigh...will I ever find a man that will take me at this rate? Am I really that scary?" She wondered, grabbing a cigarette from the packet.

"Like i said, you don't have to worry about that. If you're really gonna waste yourself on someone, the do it on me. I'll take you."

"UH?!" Shizuka was speechless, her face red as a bell pepper. She even dropped her cigarette before she could lit up. "W-what to you mean by take me?"

No way, is he really gonna marry me?! I'm almost 10 years older than him? What kind of fanfic situation is this?!

"Are you stupid?

"Did I say that out loud?"

"Yes, you foolish woman!"

"Who are you calling stupid?!"

"I'm talking about you."

"Stop talking like you're in grade school!"

"Stupid. Idiot. Dimwit. Shizuka."

"That's not even an insult-!"

"Sigh...If it was for me...you don't have to be afraid to reveal the things you enjoy doing. it'd play JRPGs and watch shows with you whenever you want. If you had to work overtime, I'd wait for you. I wouldn't disappoint you or make you cry. I'll make sure you'd never say you made the wrong choice. And...i can go eat ramen with you whenever you feel like it. I'm a fairly good cook, i can even make it-"

"YOU'RE HIRED!" Shizuka exclaimed a bit loudly. She held out her hand towards her new partner.

Holding his laughter, and softly smiling at how cute her teacher looked when she acted childish, Hachiman took her hand in a comically overdramatic handshake that looked like a business deal gone very well from an outsider's perspective.

And thus, the two started dating. The end.
