A/N: Gah, I've fallen behind on these! Holidays have ruined my update schedule, so today's a plot bin day for everyone, sorry. Would anyone like an update on Christmas Eve/Christmas? If not. I'll be off.
I need to know, and quickly. So here we go. The fate of this story depends on you, the reader. Your feedback determines the fate of this tale, and many others.
As ever, I own no quotes, references, themes or memes. Not a wit or one. They're tributes, one and all.
I'm just a humble author trying to make his way in this wild world, one word at a time.
Time and feedback will determine if this should become a story. Simple as that.
In other words...everything is up to YOU, the reader. Do let me know~!
Obvious Teaser is obvious AGAIN...
"Morals are morals...
...until they impede your duty...
...do not hesitate. Seize the moment, the day!"

Orange Blasphemy (Teaser)
Rykard offered her his hand.
Tanith eyed it warily, keenly aware of the dancing lords and ladies around them.
She did not dare to hope. Not after Lord Radagon's rebuke. Even now his cold words echoed harshly in her mind.
You are unworthy of him. My son is meant for greater things. Do not impede him.
The dragon heart she'd eaten had left her eyes a lovely shade of gold and she was sure they gleamed now. Eating it had given her courage, emboldened her, just as Sellen said it would. She had been a fool to ever doubt her words.
And yet, she was still so very afraid. Panic bleated in her breast, hammering beneath her bosom.
She could feel Sellen's eyes on her from afar, silently urging her on.
Rykard-Naruto!-didn't seem to notice. He merely smiled.
"May I have this dance...?"
Tanith gulped...
.
..
...and took his hand in hers.
It was the first step down a long road.
Whether it would end in ruination or salvation...who could say?
A/N: Obvious tributes are obvious and I own nothiiiing~!
I'll let you guess whether this scene itself was meant for By the Flame, Runt of the Litter, or something else. Would you like this to see this scene fully realized? Do let me know~!
No previews this time. I'm exhausted. Aaaand there we go. As ever, reviews keep me alive. Without them, I cannot write.
So...in the Immortal Words of Atlas...Review...Would You Kindly? It would mean the world to me.
Hope you enjoyed this, and may your day be filled with lots of luck!
Warm regards,
~Nz.
