A day after they got the electricity from the Zapapede, Ankh, with Striker standing next to him, opened up the Ridevendor, showing its inner workings as he placed the Candroid next to it, activating it and getting it to shock the machine to life. Shortly after, the Ridevendor began to come to life. "Finally." He muttered as he then heard Anne and the Planters coming back from a leisurely outing on Bessie. "Hey, Ankh, how's it going?" Anne asked as they got off of Bessie while Hop Pop jogged inside the house. "The Ridevendor is fully operational. Now we can use it to the fullest." Ankh told Anne as he put the Ridevendor back together before he inserted a Cell Medal and pressed a black button just above the coin slot, causing it to transform from a vending machine to a motorcycle. "Woah! That is so awesome!" Anne stated in awe as she then examined the motorcycle. "Yeah, and I'll be teaching you how to ride it for at least a week." "Oh, um. Actually, Hop Pop agreed to teach me how to Bessie today." Anne informed Ankh as Hop Pop headed over to them with a box labeled 'Bessie's History' in hand. "Not before reading this, you ain't." He told her as he dropped the book onto a nearby stump. "Here we go again." Ankh muttered. "This is Bessie's History. Before touching a snail's reins, you gotta know them. Feel their heartbeat next to yours and become one." "Hop Pop, she's just a vehicle. We had a family car back home. It's no biggie." "Don't care." Hop Pop told Anne as he shoved the book to her. "You can't drive Bessie, unless you read this cover to cover. And that's final." "Are there pictures?" "There are diagrams." "Noooooooo!" Anne shouted dramatically. "Dramatic much?" Hop Pop asked rhetorically.

Now outside of the house, Anne stood in front of the Ridevendor and pulled out a Cell before inserting it into the machine and pressing the big button.
Now in the town, OOO was riding through the town, enjoying herself as she then entered the woods!
(Don't bother with unwanted or short-lived dreams! A free state…That's alright, I guess! (Starting now: the show we're waiting for! Count the medals: 1, 2 and 3!))
As she drove, OOO's suit blinked into six different forms with a different color for each. Meanwhile back at the house, Sprig had placed down three green Core Medals, one at a time, next to his slingshot before jumping out of the window!
(Fate will not let go of you! In the end, you just have to go on! (An unknown development, give me energy! Count the medals: 1, 2 and 3!)
Inside the hidden basement, Ankh was looking over the box holding the six purple Core Medals for a second before walking away from it.
(It's ok, tomorrow's always blank! Your value is something you decide yourself! (OOO, OOO, OOO, OOO! COME ON!))
Meanwhile at Toad tower, Uva, Mezool, and Gamel were standing next to a prison cell as Kazari leaned on the bars when a flash of lightning showed Sasha chained up inside, looking upset!
Back in civilian form but in a white and pink t-shirt with an orange flame symbol and light blue jean shorts, Anne swiped the reader across the Seal. "Henshin!" She said as she changed forms cutaway-like four times before she appeared at the front of the tower and struck the ground with the Medajaribā, exploding the ground around the toads closest to her!
(Anything goes! That heart is what gets heated! Search for what gets overflowed!)
Now wiping out the toads, OOO changed forms rapidly, launching gorilla-themed gauntlets, swinging Shautas wipes, and swinging the Medajaribā 360 just before reality splits in two for a second before fixing itself!
(Life goes on! If you get serious and fight! You'll never feel like you've lost!)
Using the Tajador Combo, OOO was now facing the four Greeeds, Grime, and Sasha in a suit of armor with the Planters by the Rider's side! The two groups then charged at each other, moments away from making contact!
Anne Theft Auto
A few minutes after Hop Pop walked back into the house with a, suddenly, dirty Polly in hand, Anne, Sprig, and Ankh were alone as the former groaned. "I'll be old before I finish reading this thing." "Yeah, page five is as far as I got. Too much description, not enough plot." Sprig told her as he lay on the ground with a fly on his finger. "That's why I chose to get my own ride. No one telling me how to ride Striker. Just form a bond with your steed and they'll be your friend for life." Ankh stated as he changed the Ridevendor back into vending machine mode and inserted two Cell Medals into it before tapping a button underneath a green Candroid with a grasshopper and the Japanese word 'Batta' on it twice. "Batta Can!" It suddenly said as two Candroids came out. "This is ridiculous. I don't need history. I need experience." Anne claimed as she placed the book into the side bag on Bessie's shell and hopped onto the saddle. "Hey. What do you say we take a harmless test-drive? Prove to Hop Pop we're fast learners?" She asked Sprig, offering him a hand to pull him up. He was about to take it, but then gave it a second thought. "Do you get the feeling this is one of those decisions we'll look back on and say, "Ooh-boy, we probably shouldn't have done that"?" "Okay. Hey, Ankh, you want to go with me? We'll get Swamp Slushies while we're out." Anne asked Ankh, who was already walking up to her, while Sprig suddenly leaped onto the saddle. "I think I'll stay here, someone has to keep you out of trouble. But before you go, take a Batta Candroid, it'll keep us in contact." Ankh told Anne as he handed her one of the two Candroids. "Thanks. Hyah!" Anne said as she got Bessie to start moving. "We'll bring you back a Slushie!" She told Ankh as she and Sprig left the farm.
At least a mile from the house, the owner of the Cowapilier farm was riding on a giant ladybug with a tiny dog-like spider sitting next to her. Just then, she noticed a large dust cloud heading her way through a rear-view mirror. "What in tarnation?" She said, just before Anne, Sprig, and Bessie zoomed past them, causing them to spin around out of control for a moment! "Out of the way, slowpoke!" Sprig shouted as he was on his head while patting his but! "HOOLIGANS! RUFFIANS! SWAMP SUCKERS!" The lady yelled in fury while her spider barked at Anne and Sprig! "Whoa. What was that?" "I've always wanted to try road rage." Sprig explained to Anne as he hopped onto the back seat. "And the verdict?" "Exhilarating." "Live your truth! Yeah!" Anne shouted as they continued to ride.
5 miles later, they were at a little shack with a sign that said 'Swamp Slushies' as she got three Slushies, two without bugs and one with bugs. As Sprig got his, he started to enjoy it before eating a bug that walked onto his head. Shortly after, they resumed their joyride. "Man, you were right. We didn't need to read some silly book. You drive just fine." "Just fine? Pshh. Boy, I'm a natural." Anne declared before gasping with an idea. "Wanna take this baby off-road?" "Yup." Sprig said as they got Bessie to slide sideways into the woods, causing them to zoom across the forest with ease as she twirled into the air before sliding off a large log and into a clearing surrounded by giant pricker bushes! "So, off-roading. Fun. But how about we go back to on-roading?" "Good old reliable on-roading, yes, please." Sprig said as he was covered in leaves for a moment before shaking them off. "All right, Bessie. Let's move." Anne told Bessie as she whipped the reins for Bessie to move, only for nothing to happen. "One more time. Let's move." She said as she whipped the reins again, getting the same result again. "Um, Bessie?" Anne said as she and Sprig then got off of Bessie to see what was wrong, noticing that she had retracted into her own shell while using her elongated eyes to look around cautiously. "You alright, girl?" "Hey, what's going on with her? Does she need food or something? Is she tired?" Anne asked before she went over to some of the vegetation and came back with a wilted clover. "Come get the tasty clover, Bessie." "No, Anne. These leaves are tastier." Sprig told Anne as he had the same idea, now holding a fresher clover. "Here, Bessie. I got dem good leaves, girl." He told Bessie, trying to bribe her into coming out as she didn't pay attention and sunk deeper into her shell. "Maybe we can push her? Give her a jump-start? I'm sure that's a thing for animals." Anne theorized as she and Sprig walked behind Bessie to push her. However they were only able to budge her slightly. "Nope. She is way too heavy to move." "What are we gonna do? We're stuck." Sprig stated as he slumped over Bessie's shell. "We have no choice. I'll stay here with Bessie and try to call Ankh while you hitch a ride back to the farm… go get Hop Pop just in case." "Good idea. It's the right thing to do, even if we get an earful. Back in a flash!" Sprig declared as he swung himself up to the tree-line with his tongue before jumping from branch to branch. "Okay, now how do I use this thing?" Anne asked herself as she pulled out the Candroid and pulled on the tab, turning it into Batta form.
Meanwhile with Ankh, he was busy working on the Ridevendor as he had nine different Candroids sitting on a stump. "Good to know we have 1 of every 9 Candroids." He states just before the Batta Candroid began ringing, getting his attention. "Looks like Anne's figured out how to use the Candroid." He claimed as he walked up to the stump and grabbed the Batta Candroid and pulled on the tab, activating it. "Hello, Anne." "Ankh, can you hear me? I don't know if I'm speaking out of the right place." Anne asked on the other line as Ankh heard her clearly. "I can hear you. What happened?" He asked. "Um… on our way back, we took Bessie off-roading and now she won't move. Please help." "How did I see this coming? Where are you?" Ankh asked again as he reached for a red Candroid with the word 'Taka' on it. "Well, I want to say a mile away from the road, maybe. But I know I'm around a bunch of huge pricker bushes." "Okay. I'm sending some Candroids to go look for you, and when they do, I'll head over to your location. Until then, stay ready and don't move from there." Ankh told Anne before he hung up a few seconds later and tossed the Batta Candroid back onto the stump as it returned to can form. He then pulled the tab on the Taka Candroid, activating and turning it into a red Hawk. He then proceeded to do the same for a light blue Candroid with the word 'Tako' and one that was purple and had the word 'Ptera', activating them as they turned into an octopus with suction cups facing upward while they spun like an upside down helicopter and a pterodactyl with a long tail. "I want you to comb the forest next to the road leading from home to the Swamp Slushies shack, and then one of you will return to me." Ankh ordered the three Candroids, causing them to fly in the direction that Anne and Sprig went in.
"Okay, all I have to do now is wait." Anne told herself as she leaned on Bessie's shell for a few seconds before realizing something. "This is so boring! Wish I had something to read." She said as she sloped down, now sitting as she spotted the book she brought along. "Fine! But just to pass the time." Anne stated before taking out the book and opening it to page one. "Okay, let's see here. " "It was an especially cold morning the day Bessie was brought into this world"."
(Hopediah: The leaves had just changed color, and now I shall describe those leaves to you in great detail-)
"Nope!" She said as she slammed the book shut. "I guess Sprig was right, there's too many details." Anne declared as she leaned back up to Bessie for a moment, before having second thoughts. "Maybe if I just skim the unnecessary parts and focus on the important stuff."
Meanwhile with Sprig, he had finally made it to the edge of the forest as he spotted someone driving on the road before he hopped towards them and onto the ground. "Over here, over here! I need a ride!" He shouted before the giant bug stopped, covering Sprig in a dust cloud for a few seconds before clearing up. "Oh, thank you so much for stopping. I, uh…oh." "Bless my socks. If it isn't Sprig Planter." The lady that Sprig and Anne ran off the road said as her spider yapped at him, causing him to chuckle sheepishly. "Yep. Hey, Mrs. Croaker, sorry about earlier. I got a little carried away." "Oh, pishposh. Sadie Croaker never holds a grudge, honey." Sadie declares as she lightens the mood. "Well, that's lucky. Will you give me a lift back home? It's urgent." "Oh, absolutely." "Thanks, Mrs. Croaker. I'll make sure to pay you back." Sprig stated before hopping onto the ladybug. "Oh, my pleasure, honey. Well, go on and get comfy. Watch out for ol' Archie, though. His venom can cause paralysis." Sadie warned Sprig as Archie suddenly shaked off some fur, scaring Sprig a bit. "Now hold on to your eyebrows. 'Cause here. we! go!" She shouted as she whipped the reins while whooping with joy, causing Sprig to do the same! Unfortunately, all this does is get the ladybug to walk very slowly. "CAN'T THIS THING GO ANY FASTER?!"
(Hopediah:And it was at that moment I realized Bessie was no ordinary snail, but a kind, clear soul who would help others at a drop of a hat. I raised my bid to 400 copper pieces, winning the auction, and in the process, saving Bessie from the nefarious Jim Snapes.)
"Yes! In your face, Snapes. Man. This is actually pretty good." Anne stated as she was now on chapter 12 and was now eating leaves. "And I need to stop eating leaves." She told herself as she continued reading. All the while from above, the Candroids had finally found Anne as the Ptera Candroid flew back to Ankh while the others stayed behind before flying down to meet with her. Shortly after, Anne hears the two Candroids and looks up, briefly screaming before realizing that it was just what Ankh sent. "Oh, hey guys. You must be here to help." She assumed as she held out an arm for them to land on. "Now where was I?" She asked herself rhetorically as she resumed reading.
Back with Sprig and Sadie, they continued to move at a literal snail's pace while Archie was now sitting on his lap. "You know what would make this ride go a lot quicker?" "What? Anything. What?!" "A song!" Sadie said as Sprig's hopes were dashed while she began to vocalize before singing the, apparently, universal nursery rhyme.
"Ninety-nine jugs Of juice on the wall!
Ninety-nine jugs of juice!"
While she sang, Sprig's perception on reality began to slow to a crawl as Sadie's singing also slowed.
(Hopediah:The snow swirled around us and I knew we were doomed. I could feel the strength leaving my body bit by bit. The sweet embrace of eternity crept closer and closer. Until suddenly I heard a sound pulling me back. Bessie... Bessie was singing!)
As Anne read on, it began to make her cry. "You go, girl. You noble, noble creature" she said to Bessie while hugging her shell. Afterwards, she took a minute to compose herself while the Taka Candroid landed on her shoulder before rubbing its head on her neck. "It's okay. I'm okay." She told the Candroid before turning back around to the book. "Now let's see. Where was I?" She asked herself before noticing something on the next page that might help explain why Bessie had stopped. " "The reason Bessie had hidden in her shell was now very clear to me. A predator was close. And not just any predator. A natural enemy of snails"." Anne read when she then heard rustling from the vegetation, causing her guard to be up as she slapped the Seal onto herself. "Uh, anything in here about this predator?" She asked as she flipped through the book, looking for a deeper description until she found it, of a hedgehog with plenty of pointers. "Aw, it's actually pretty cute. Wait a minute. "Warning: While the predator is mostly docile, they will become feral during mating season." What?" Anne said before she put the book down. Just then, a feral version of a hedgehog appeared, looking like a coyote while jumpscaring Anne as more showed up around them! In response, Anne pulled out a random set of Medals before shoving them into the Seal and swiping the scanner in front of it! "HENSHIN!" "Taka! Tora! Batta! Ta-to-ba! Tatoba! Tatoba!" The Seal sang as she became OOO! Meanwhile, during the transformation sequence, the bright lights caused the hedgehogs to back away and act more cautiously! OOO then used this distraction to jump onto Bessie with the book in hand and flip back through the few pages she skipped from the point of the discovery. " "When Bessie senses danger, you gotta sit on her shell and yell at the top of your lungs, 'BESSIE, THINGS ARE GETTIN' MESSY'!" OOO yelled as Bessie's head suddenly erupted from the shell and she bolted away from the area, leaving the hedgehogs in the dust for a moment!

"Eat our dust, Hedgehogs!" OOO shouted before suddenly getting hit with blue quills from an abnormally blue hedgehog, which throws its hindquarters up and launches more quills, causing OOO to swat them away with the Medajaribā!
(I don't plan to say something like "it's the proof that I've done my best for the sake of someone"! I can go nowhere; I believe I can only remain! And stop fooling myself, regret nothing!)
As the two of the Hedgehogs began to close in, OOO readied her sword and proceeded to strike at them as they were about to jump on, causing them to fall! She then put her sword away, extended her wrist claws and hooked onto the first tree she could while latching onto Bessie's shell as best as possible with her legs, causing them to turn on a sharp right while OOO released Bessie and kicked the third Hedgehog while her bottom half glowed green before long jumping back onto Bessie! "Just got two left." She muttered as she folded her claws and flipped through the book one last time.
(Tatoba, Tatoba! Tatoba, Tatoba! Tatoba, Tatoba! Tatoba, Tatobaaaa!)
After discovering something else, OOO moved to the front of Bessie's shell and tapped it before a small bit of it opened up like a latch, revealing a small bag surrounded by organs as she grabbed the bag and pulled out some berries from it and leaned into Bessie's head. "Let's do this thing, Bessie!" OOO said as Bessie chirped happily in response before she ate the berries, causing the slime she produced to change color and become thicker! This causes the two hedgehogs to lose their footing and slip into a tree! "Way to go, Bessie! You are the queen of the road." OOO declared as Bessie chirped again as they left the woods.
"Take one down, pass it around!
No more jugs of juice on the wall!"
Back with Sadie, she had just wrapped up her song as Sprig laid down in a fetal position with Archie on his hat. "Glad that's finally over." ONE MORE TIME!" Sadie suddenly yelled out as Sprig immediately grabbed Archie and covered his face with the pet before screaming into him! Just then, they heard a sound they never heard before. This gets them to look behind them and see Ankh riding the Ridevendor with the Ptera Candroid on his shoulder, who pulls up to them. "Sprig, I thought you were with Anne?" Ankh said as Sprig suddenly latched himself onto Ankh while Anne pulled up next to them on Bessie. "Hey, guys. What'd I miss?" "I should be asking that." Ankh stated to Anne as Sprig turned to Sadie. "Okay, bye, Mrs. Croaker! Thank you!" "Bye, darlin'. Next time, try to keep that road rage in check." Mrs. Croaker told him as she began laughing. "Yee-haw!" She shouted as she whipped the reins, causing the ladybug to run at full speed, leaving them behind as she cackled in the distance! "Pretty sure I just got played." "That woman is everything I wanna be." Anne stated as she and Sprig got over the shock. "So, how did you manage to get Bessie moving, Anne?" "Believe it or not, but I got the answer from the book. Why she wouldn't move, how to get her to move at full speed. It's all here!" Anne stated as she held up the book for him to see. "All I had to do was skim over the overly detailed junk and focus on the important things, like how Hop Pop got Bessie and how she saved his life." Anne stated before putting the book down.
(Planters farm)
A drive later, everyone made it back home without further incident as the sun began to set. "We made it. And it looks like Hop Pop's still washing Polly." "Ya think?" Ankh asked sarcastically as they saw Polly running away from Hop Pop through a window. Afterwards, Sprig and Ankh got off of Bessie and the Ridevendor respectively before walking up to the door before stopping. "Hey. You coming?" "I think I'm going to spend a little more time with ol' Bessie here." Anne told them before the two went inside, leaving Anne alone with Bessie and most of the inactive Candroids as she went over to the bag and pulled out the book before hopping onto Bessie's saddle. "Now where were we?" She asked as she got to reading.
Meanwhile, Ankh sat on the couch as he held the now inactive Ptera Candroid in his hand. He then saw Polly heading towards him, getting him to grab her midair, finally getting her to stop moving. "NO! LET ME GO!" "Oh thank frog, thanks Ankh. Say, could you help me wash Polly?" Hop Pop asked as Ankh nodded before letting him lead the way. "NOOOOO!" Polly yelled out as she was carried to the kitchen.
(Sunrise)
Long after everyone in the house, Hop Pop was in his bed with a nightcap on, fast asleep. Until he was hit in the gut by Bessie's book, waking him up in shock! "What the hey?!" Hop Pop shouted before he saw a sleep-deprived Anne. "Good morning, Hopediah." She said with a dry throat. "Anne?" "I did it. I read the whole thing. In one night." "Impressive. Kinda scary. But impressive." He told her as she fell backwards onto a chair. "I was wrong about Bessie. She's not just a vehicle. She's a noble, beautiful creature." "And now that you've read this, all you need is experience." Hop Pop informed Anne, causing her eyes to spring open in realization that she did it backwards.
(Ankh's room)

Meanwhile, Ankh was woken up by the sound of the Purple Medals resonating with something as they bursted from their wooden prison, knocking the lid off as they began to fly towards the entrance! "What the hell?!" Ankh shouted as he raced for the door while the Medals slammed into the door, trying to get through just before he was able to grab them after they were able to leave six hairline fractures! For a short period, he struggled to keep a hold of them with both hands clasped over them as they crackled with energy! However, it all stopped as the Purple Medals began to calm down. Assuming something caused this, Ankh shoved a Cell Medal into his own head as it created a Yummy that resembled a bald eagle. "Take these back to their box!" Ankh ordered as he handed the Medals to the Yummy before opening the door and running outside, spotting a now unconscious Anne! "Anne!" Ankh shouted as he got closer to see if she was okay before Hop Pop came out of his room in a hurry! "What happened?!" "She said that she read Bessie's whole book in one night and started laughin' like a lunatic." Hop Pop explains to Ankh as he successfully checks for a pulse. "Looks like she's just exhausted. She'll be bedridden, but fine." Ankh stated, still shaken from the fact that the Purple Medals so violently. "Did they react to her sudden change in behavior?" He muttered as Hop Pop caught some of what he said. "Did what react?" "It's nothing. I take care of everything." Ankh told Hop Pop as he headed downstairs with Anne in his arms. "This is bad. Those Medals only react to the absence of desire and the desire of destruction." Ankh reminded himself as he walked over to Anne's bed before putting her down on top. "I have to do something. Otherwise, IT will happen again." He stated as he began to bite his thumb.
