This story starts with newspaper articles before moving on to the actual story. As usual, this is ONLY be posted because it's complete. But in the aim of always trying to do something a little different, I'm going to try to release the newspaper articles in the same "time" they would have appeared in the Prophet (i.e. one on Friday, one on Monday etc..). Except that the original attack was August of 95. I'm a bit late.

I am sure this has all been done before, but I had fun writing it over the last few years. I have what could maybe be construed as bashing of some characters, but I try to balance it in the end. Also, people -reviewers – always want to redeem Snape. I'm a chemistry teacher. Strictly from the chemistry teacher POV: he's an irredeemable turd. Yes, he had a crap childhood. That does not, in any way, excuse his abuse of Neville and Hermione from a position of authority. He is and will always be a creep in my head canon. Sorry. My sandbox, my rules.

Any criticism is welcomed in reviews. Since I don't get alerted when I get reviews, I don't often answer them. Sorry! I try, but I'm a birdbrain. I do read and consider each of them, though, and thank you in advance if you bother to click on that "review" button and type something in the box.
