Dracula and the holy grail war

A Japanese man with red hair stood in a dark basement chanting ominously in front of a glowing red circle. Strange and esoteric symbols littered the inside of the circle and at the centre laid a sword placed on an altar. As the glow of the circle started to increase even more than it already had the man, now identified to be about twenty-seven years of age, started to chant louder. Chanting at the top of his lungs five final words, his words echoing across the room, "come forth, Guardian of Scales!" As he finished those last final words, a blinding flash emerged from the circle and when it dimmed down a giant of a man stood in the centre of it on top of the alter which formerly held the sword now housed on the man's hip. The man whore a red trench coat and plate mail armour underneath, clawed armour gloves covered his hands and stubble adorned his chin. The man's long locks of hair obscured most of his face, barely allowing his upper lips to be seen. Along with his mouth and chin, his unnaturally large and menacing fangs where the only things to identify the man's face with.

The large man spoke, finally, after what felt like an eternity. "I am Vlad Dracula Tepes, the Impaler. From Valhalla I come forth, I shall be your spear in this battle." The man- Vlad he said his name was -announced, before continuing. "That is, if you are worthy enough to be my master." It was not a question, but a statement. Vlad did not ask if the Japanese man standing before him was his master, he implied he would kill him should he even appear to be subpar.

The Japanese man stood calm before speaking himself, calm and focussed, like his father taught him. "Greetings, Vlad Dracula. I do hope I am up to your standards as a Master. But for now we should cooperate. From our current location it would take much too long for you to make it to Fuyuki, the site of the Holy Grail War, and my aptitude as a master could be assessed much better during combat with another master, something I cannot engage with without risking my death at he hands of a servant without one of my own to fight against them on somewhat even grounds." The Japanese man looked towards his potential servant, and Vlad reciprocated the man's sound logic with a laugh which could be more accurately described as cackling and clapping his two armoured hands together creating a clanging and clicking sound as the armour plates moved against each other.

Once Vlad stopped applauding the Japanese man for his response, he walked forward and stood before his summoner. "Well then, Master, may I, servant Lancer in this Holy Grail War, know the identity of the lord I serve." The Japanese man took this as a sign that servant Lancer had found him at least acceptable for a Master, or a mana source if he wanted to be pessimistic.

"I am Shirou Emiya, Servant Lancer, and we are winning this war" the man, Shirou, said before turning around his own coat no longer obscured by darkness.

Rin Tohsaka was a seventeen year-old high school student, the school idol. Yet no one knew that she was in fact a magus. One that participated in the Holy Grail War, of course they didn't fight for the actual wooden cup Christ drank out of, that thing was long gone by now.

No what she wanted more than anything was to complete the ritual, access the root and gain the true magic which her ancestors created the ritual for, together with the Einzberns and the Makiri, or rather the Matou as they are known today.

Her servant would be of the strongest class- Saber -as she was a high calibre mage. And so she began her chant, calling forth a heroic spirit into a class container from the throne of heroes itself.
A red glow manifested in her basement, her workshop where all her family secrets where stored.

She would summon Saber and make her father proud.
As the glow subsided she could make out a figure, a man with curling hair in silver armour and a rapier on his hip. Rather than a helmet one would usually see on a knight, the man whore a hat with a brown feather sticking out of it, on his back flowed an elegant red cape although strangely half of it was missing.

"I am servant Saber of this war, I have come from the throne to head your call and defend it from any Devils wishing to defile it. I ask of thee art thou my master?" He stood there expectantly and Rin immediately held out her hand, showing of her command seals.

"I do suppose I am, Saber." The Servant looked her over, deciding something in his head before sharing it with the world.

"You need to wear more clothes, showing so much skin is not proper for a young lady. Especially not one of your age, how do you expect to get married if you go around dressed like so." He said as he gestured to Rin's quite modest clothing.

She became angry at the Servant for daring to imply she flaunted herself in such a way. "How dare you! I cover more than most of the girls in my class! Ever thought about how you aren't in the past anymore!" before she could go on Saber interrupted her.

"Why are you angry? I gave you a compliment, who knows what kind of lecherous and lustful thoughts the men you have met have about you. I would not wish such a thing on any woman, let alone a noble lady such as yourself." He explained himself. Rin went red with embarrassment rather than rage for a few seconds before she recovered.

After she introduced herself formally to her servant- who refused to give her his name -she contacted Kirei, the priest who would be overseeing this Holy Grail War and her legal guardian, to confirm her status as a Master in the War. Next up on their agenda was scouting out the city for good battlefields where Saber could fight at his full potential. Granted her Servant only had a C+ in strength which could be bad without the proper preparations to rectify a potential power imbalance in their favour.

Shirou had just boarded a plane, Lancer had returned to spirit-form. Deciding it would be more advantageous to sleep and familiarize himself with his Servants memories he proceeded to rest his head and doze off.

During his slumber Shirou saw wastelands where once stood Lucious grasslands, now covered in corpses of different armies. Forests of pikes planted into the ground with which corpses of children, men, women and even de elderly lay penetrated.
Of course Shirou was aware of all the horrible things his Servant had done in his life.

What he did not expect was seeing said life turn into unlife in such a swift and decisive fashion. A deal with Satan is not something he expected as to how his Servant gained the appearance of a Dead Apostle, another assumption about Lancer that turned out to be wrong. Lancer was no Dead Apostle, rather he was a vampire in the more traditional sense. Following the shockingly easy deal with Satan, he ate all of the people there. Lancer had ripped, torn and crushed all who tried to deliver him to a second demise and practically inhaled the blood of those who he killed. The newly acquired energy he gained from his food seemed to invite him to eat more and more, he slaughtered all those who stood against him and hunted those who ran until all their hope was lost before delivering them to the same fate. All while he, the monster which was formerly the king of Walachia, whore a manic grin showing of his sharp fangs and an unrelenting crazed gaze which tracked down his new prey to hunt.

Shirou woke up with a jolt as the plane began to land, Fuyuki airport was his current location. He'd need to have Lancer on standby seeing as other Masters would do the same. Although the changes between the historical depiction and his vampiric Servant still unnerved him, if the church and mages association covered this part up what else could be omitted from the myths and legends he had access to? Not only that, the noble phantasms his Servant possessed, among them where two handguns. How would a vampire get handguns if he lived way before either of those where made? Furthermore his Servant was not a dead apostle seeing how the curse was given by Satan of all creatures, which shouldn't be possible because all deities where confined to the reverse side of the world or dead. He had questions to ask his Servant.

Location: Fuyuki, von Einzbern estate

Illyasviel von Einzbern had a pretty good life for a homunculus, it was kind of expected since she was a lesser grail and not as good as it could have been because she was still a homunculus but a relatively good life nonetheless. She stood at the average height for a grown woman and her curves were nothing to sneeze at, but soon she would be the greatest treasure that a mage could think of. The Holy Grail, or rather the Lesser Grail to call forth the Greater grail. But first she had a war to win so she could grant the Einzbern-clan a proper victory as apposed to the last war where her predecessor was killed by the magus killer and his Servant Caster. How a Saber with high class Magic resistance could be steamrolled by the Servant of the spell was almost impossible to wrap ones head around, it only becomes more paradoxical and confusing when said Saber Servant is backed by an Archer and the Caster beat both up while reportedly using short curved swords to go on the aggressive.

But now it wouldn't matter, she'd bring glory to the Einzberns and wipe the adopted son of that dead pest of the face of the earth with her Servant Berserker, nothing could stand in the way of her Heracles! They would crush their opposition and stand victorious before the War could enter it's second week! Her smile began to grow manic with these thoughts, her dress flowing as she stepped towards the door where her Servant was waiting for her. She had already sent out familiars to scout out the city and the boy that she wanted dead was already in an open space where they could fight, she hadn't seen his Servant yet but he had to have it with him seeing as it was nearly night and no Servants could beat her all-powerful Berserker!

So I got to almost 2k words, 1833 if you don't count this thing here, but this is a redo. Sort-of. Got some things in my head which could cooperate with Fate and Nasu-verse lore. Also there's too few female historical figures that where gender bent to be guys, pretty dure there's only one so expect guy Jeanne D'Arc with schizophrenia because that sounds interesting to me and having a ruler running on what can only be described as mad enhancement without the enhancement sounds fun. Also Gustave the evil crocodile as a gorgon sounds fun.
