Hey Friday The 13th Fans alike. As you all can see by the title, I'm going to be writing or in this case re-writing Friday The 13th Part VII/8: Jason Takes Manhattan.

As a kid, I was obsessed with Jason and his franchise and he grew to become my favorite slasher. But unfortunately like most fans, we were all disappointed with the eighth film for a number of reasons. Boring, annoying, forgettable & bland characters, lame final girl and etc, So in this story, I'll be rewriting pretty much everything from Plot to Settings, I'll try my best to make the characters more developed, likable & relatable & give us all The eighth sequel we so rightfully deserved.

Alrighty then ENJOY :)

Chapter 1: Resurrection

Deep within the waters of the infamous Camp Crystal Lake lied a killer, chained and buried. He was truly a psychotic and freakish force of nature.

This killer was discovered by many, and outlived by fewer.

Over the course of nearly three bloody, violent and traumatic decades this killer has caused families to be torn apart, innocent youth being permanently scarred and traumatized for life, and permanently destroyed the reputation of this once great summer camp for kid's which had been once again rebuilt in time, fueled by the burning need to avenge his beloved mother.

That man's name is Jason Voorhees...The iconic, infamous, psychotic, axe and machete wielding homicidal maniac.

He lied chained, powerless and defeated at the bottom of Crystal Lake once more.

He had been the cause of all this death and misery.

It had been eleven months since his last killing spree in June of 1997 and his clash with the telekinetic Tina Shepard, It was now May of 1998 and it was also nearing graduation time for some US states like Crystal Lake's New Jersey or others places like Florida & Connecticut.

It was for most good kids, a time for celebration and a time for fun. For Jason, it was just more passing time for him, trapped and patiently waiting for an unsuspecting victim to pass by and once again, set him free...

...

Onboard a boat slowly drifting along through the waters of Crystal Lake held the graduating couple of Jim Miller and his stunning girlfriend Suzi Donaldson. They had borrowed the boat from Jim's father so they could have a fun and memorable night under the stars before they went on their senior class trip.

"Hey Suzz, what'd ya think of my blood prank on you last week?" Jim was a known prankster among everyone in his grade. He had ambitions to be a professional special effect and make-up artist. His major going into college would be Special Effects. While he was popular and well-liked among his classmates and staff, his pranks in most cases were infamous for being taken too far and being mistaken for reality.

"That wasn't funny Jim, you know how i feel about those types of things...You know I've been through a lot growing up."

"For the last time babe, i said i was sorry. Come on, what more do you want me to do man?" Jim replied to his girlfriend's last sentence with dullness and confusion.

As a child growing up, over the years Suzi was always bullied in the worst ways, people would play cruel and horrible jokes on her. In one instance eight years prior, Suzi was actually thrown into the very same cursed lake she and her boyfriend floated upon, by a group of bullies. She made up for this incident by learning how to swim so her tormentors wouldn't get the last laugh and became the captain of Lakeview's swim team. Another instance saw her get her hair dyed an ugly pink. A more recent incident nearly resulted in her being suspended from school for simply retaliating and standing up for herself. Suzi had been through a lot, and Jim's pranks weren't helping her move on from her childhood trauma.

"You could start by not being such a jerk!" Suzi slapped him on his back, showing Jim her anger and annoyance for being reminded of his irritating prank. "You know for years people have made fun of me and bullied me in the worst ways possible...some of it even happened here at this god forsaken place!" An emotional Suzi took a moment to look around at Camp Crystal Lake from the bedroom window inside their little boat. The area was rebuilt in the time following its destruction a little less than a year ago when more unfortunate kids were yet again slaughtered and assailed. the newly rebuilt cabins and other camp related things were just a cover to what the place was truly known for.

As a shirtless Jim sat on the bed with Suzi, who was wearing a white robe, he tried to calm down his angered and emotional girlfriend. He massaged her on the back to relive and make her feel comfortable.

"Who knows, maybe Ole Camp Blood will finally get back to normal. Yee HAW." Jim said this in a humorous manner that annoyed Suzi.

"This shit hole will never get better no matter how hard it tries to rebuild and grow, no matter how many times they change the name, nothing will make this place change. Don't you understand? Nothing Jim."

Jim listened on. While he didn't want his pranks to intentionally hurt or traumatize people, they were a part of his identity, his personality, he felt empty without them. He felt as if he needed them. Suzi, although she loved and cared about her boyfriend and his ambitions, she sometimes felt his timing within the light of certain issues was very poor. This issue could be resolved, but it would take some time.

"Look Suzz." Suzz was one of the nicknames everyone including Jim addressed Suzi by. Her real name was Suzannah, but people rarely called her by her actual name. "I'm sorry okay...Sometimes i take things too far, and i get that, i was just having a little fun."

"Do...are you really sorry?" The slightly calmer Suzi after being sweet talked asked. While she loved what Jim said to her, she wanted to be certain that he was being genuine.

"I swear to you babe, I'm sorry and i swear to you on my life that i mean that."

After being swayed by her boyfriend, she was convinced enough by him. "Okay...I forgive you." Suzi said this in the manner of a scared puppy whimpering in fear. Jim then slowly pulled her in for a passionate kiss, which was eagerly returned. Soon the couple fell upon the bed and began french kissing each other passionately. After about two minutes, Jim and Suzi stopped.

"I'll go toss the anchor to halt this bad boy, then whaddaya say me and you Suzz...have a little fun?" Jim proceeded to slide his hand seductively across the face of Suzi, who in return kissed him. The hints at what the couple would be doing were not difficult to comprehend.

"Alright, hurry on back, we've gotta be sure that we're on time tomorrow...I don't want to miss this trip, almost our entire class will be there."

"Babe, it'll only be a minute."

Jim gets up off the bed and leaves to anchor the but while Suzi hangs back and waits for him, while she does, she notices some fairly older and newer newspaper articles on previous events and massacres around or exactly on Crystal Lake. Growing curious and wanting to learn more, she gets up to read them, to pass the time until Jim returns. She decides to read them in the chronological order that they happened in.

ON Wednesday, June 13th, 1979: CRYSTAL LAKE POLICE DISCOVER 8 BODIES, 2 ADULTS, 6 YOUTHS ON CRYSTAL LAKE PROPERTY:

The bodies were first discovered by police the following day, on Thursday, June 14th.

These horrific murders also take place on the 21 year anniversary of the 2 murders of young Camp Counselors Barry Jackson and Claudette Hayes that took place on these same horrific camp grounds.

Sole survivor of the killing spree Alice Hardy, is currently recovering in the hospital, where she is currently being questioned by police.

These violent murders on this grim anniversary have only further influenced locals to believe that the area is cursed.

Is 22 years of never-ending trouble not enough to keep the Camp Crystal Lake area closed?

Suzi felt more uneasy after reading the old article of the 1979 murders. For some reason, she felt as if two voices were inside her head. One was telling her to keep learning more, while the other was telling her to stop before she ventured too deep down into a recurring darkness. One thing about Suzi's personality was that she was a curious person. This would impact her positively and negatively on some occasions. Ultimately, her curiosity got the better of her.

She proceeded to read through the rest of the newspapers on the killings. The week-long slaughtering of 35 teenagers and adults in 1984, The murders at The Pinehurst Halfway Home in 1989 and the murders that took place just eleven months ago in 1997.

"My god...how could they continue opening up this place after all this?" This was a question Suzi asked herself while reading through these horrifying pieces of history. Each article seemed worse than the last.

One article stood out to Suzi, and not in a good way...The Forest Green murders. Upon seeing this paper, she absolutely refused to look at it or even glance. She immediately tossed it to the side. Never again...i refuse to remember it...any of it. Suzi thought to herself.

After she was done messing around with the papers, Suzi realizes that Jim hasn't returned yet. She snaps out of previous thoughts and begins to call her boyfriend's name. "Jim? where are you?"

There was no response...

"Jim? Are you alright?...Is something wrong? Is everything okay?"

Suzi was becoming increasingly worried about the safety of her boyfriend. She decided that it was time for her to get up and see if Jim was alright. She was increasingly getting worried.

She began creeping slowly towards the stairs that led the upper and outdoor proportion of the boat. Each step forward felt like a step closer to a bad feeling in Suzi's mind. She was hoping and praying that nothing bad would happen.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Suzi lets out a blood curdling scream when she sees a male in a replicated damaged, dirty, white and grayish hockey mask appear before her.

The man proceeded to pull out a hunting knife and proceeded to 'Stab' Suzi in the stomach. Suddenly the 'killer' stops and moves the knife away from Suzi's stomach, drawing confusion from the scared young girl. The killer removes his mask to reveal that he's the very same person Suzi was looking for moments ago.

Jim

"Gotchu good babe! HA! Didn't I?" Jim proceeds to laugh at the fact that he had once again pranked his girlfriend, who was anything but happy.

"God Damn it Jim! I told you that i don't like those types of jokes! The hell's wrong with you dressing up like that hockey masked psychopath!" Suzi then proceeds to slap Jim across the face.

"Ouch! Damn it Suzz, I'm sorry, no need to get feisty."

"Hmm!" Suzi slaps him across the face once more, but this time, harder than she did before. She then proceeded to walk back towards the bed they were lying in together. She sat down, fueled with anger and annoyance before folding her arms together.

"Damn it." Jim knew he messed up badly. He put his hockey mask onto a harpoon gun and proceeded to follow his angered girlfriend with the hopes of calming her down. He sat down beside her on the bed. This was followed by her looking away from him in annoyance.

Suzi couldn't believe Jim. Even after she had reminded him of her long lasting childhood trauma. What Jim did had reminded her of what had happened to her years prior at the camp. She wanted nothing more to do with her humorous lover at the moment. She stared into the night outside the window, trying desperately to ignore what was next to her.

"Look Suzi...I'm sorry, and this time i mean it...I know you're probably thinking i'm lying to you but i'm not." Jim went on. "I violated your trust, you've got every right to be angry with me."

This caused her to finally turn around and make eye contact. "You got that right."

"Look...how about this, no more pranks...on you of course...i swear on my life." Jim then proceeded to salute like a soldier in a playful manner. "Scout's honor."

Suzi looked at him apologetic. She thought about it for about thirty seconds before taking a deep breath. "No more pranks on me?"

"No more pranks."

Now having calmed down his girlfriend, Jim went in for a kiss, which was returned passionately by his girlfriend.

"I should toss you overboard for all the crap you pulled." Suzi said to Jim in a flirtatious manner.

"I like this idea a lot better sweetheart."

The young, romantic couple continued kissing passionately, beginning to make love, now having fully made it up with each other...

...

Beneath the murky waters of Camp Crystal Lake, impending doom was lying below the young love vessel. Two unfortunate victims would soon get preyed upon. The dormant Jason Voorhees was still chained to the bottom of the lake. He was reduced to nothing more than a hideously decayed floating carcass.

Death was rising into the night...sooner than later, Crystal Lake's true owner would rise once more to inflict more terror upon the youth and all who stood in his way.

Right above this monster being, passionate young love was being made, rocking a boat back and forth. The boat was being rocked so much, it loosened the anchor that was attached to the bottom and kept it in place. The anchor was slowly dragging across the lake's floors, and no one was paying any attention.

It continued to drag on like a fisherman's fishing line, waiting to latch onto something. Unfortunately it latched on to the dormant rotting corpse of...

Jason Voorhees

The boat's anchor latched onto the chest proportion of where most of the chain was holding his body down. Electricity was beginning to spark from the engine. This was currently unknown to Suzi and Jim who were blindly making love a few feet above. Suddenly a light charge of electricity conducts through the anchor to the chain, but due to how small the charge was, it had little to no affect.

A few more light sparks continued to strike Jason's body with the same repetitive results.

Suddenly a huge strike electricity strikes Jason once more.

...

...

...

...

The monster's eyes open...filled with immediate rage.

Jason's body begins shaking rapidly due to the inhumane amounts of electricity flowing through his body. The old metal chain keeping the now revived undead killing machine at bay is beginning to heat up and melt from the intense levels of power.

Suddenly, it snaps in two, finally setting Jason free.

...

Suzi and Jim are now cuddled up comfortably in bed with each other. They've just finished making love with each other and are equally satisfied with the outcome. Jim lies right beside Suzi's body with his arm over her. Suzi lies in bed with satisfaction and a smile on her face.

"You know Suzz?"

"Yes Jim?

"Where do you think the future takes us?" While Jim was known for his humor and sometimes outrageous jokes, he can have serious moments with those he cares about. He wanted to know what the future unfolded for him and Suzi. He wanted to know it all.

Suzi replied with a genuine answer. "Whatever happens, we'll face it together."

"We'll face anything together." Jim replied with a smile on his face. "Asshole teachers, assholes in general, your mom and Jason Voorhees."

Suzi laughed and was slightly annoyed. "Shut up you dork, or i'll feed you to Big Bad Jason himself." The young couple began kissing once more. "We'll have to wrap up soon, or else we won't enough rest before tomorrow."

"Just 5 more minutes Suzz."

"Fine." They continued passionately kissing each other.

In both of their minds, they felt nothing could ruin their night. Unfortunately for Jim and Suzi, they couldn't be more wrong.

...

An unwanted passenger in Jason Voorhees had quietly made his way onboard the young love slowly made his way towards the sounds of the kissing.

He quickly found the entrance to the inner level of the vessel. He slowly made his way downstairs. He was in no rush to kill his two unsuspecting victims. Suzi and Jim were completely oblivious to the monstrosity they was nearby.

Before Jason could start moving in on the couple, he noticed something.

Jim's replicated hockey mask of a previous one he held. It was a dirty white and grayish all over. The chevron was grey with a bit of red that was barely noticeable.

Jim's mask was even touched up with a recreated and replicated version of the axe mark he had received from one of his survivors years prior. It was sitting on the harpoon gun, where Jim had placed it earlier after his prank.

Jason now has a brand new mask. He slowly picked it up and put it on his face.

He also proceeds to pick up the spear gun and move closer towards his victims. They were unsuspecting prey in Jason's eyes, and more trespassers on his lake.

Jim and Suzi finally stop kissing each other. While Jim's is stuffed into a pillow, Suzi finally notices an unfamiliar man standing a few feet in front of them. "J-J-JASON?!" Suzi moves back towards the wall of the bed out of fear while Jim turns around and sees Jason for himself.

"HOLY SHIT! RUN SUZI!" Jim shouts this order at his girlfriend to try and get her out of harm's way from the serial killer.

Suzi can't do anything, as her fear by now has completely overtaken her entire body. Jason then fires the harpoon gun and it barely misses Suzi.

Jason did this to create more fear in Suzi before killing her. Jim gets up immediately and tries to tackle Jason but to no avail. Voorhees stabs him with the harpoon gun and pushes it deep into his stomach, spraying blood everywhere, completely killing him.

"JIMMMMMMMM! NOOOOO!" Suzi screams as she watches her boyfriend's lifeless body fall to the floor.

Jason then slowly walks towards Suzi, intending to kill her as well. But luckily for Suzi, one of the boat's windows happened to be opened. Without a second to spare, Suzi crawls through the window and barely escapes the wrath of Jason, who just nearly has a hold of her.

Suzi then proceeds to somersault into Crystal Lake and begins swimming far far away from the boat that contained her dead boyfriend and a psychotic serial killer. Suzi makes it safely to the dock of Camp Crystal Lake. She turns around, to see Jason outside the drifting boat, holding a bloody harpoon gun, staring menacingly at her...without thinking for a second, Suzi runs far away, as a vengeful Jason Voorhees watches on...
