11I have not written a story in years. I've never written for these two characters so this is all new for me. I will probably hate this and delete it after a week but this idea came to me and I wanted to pay it out. Somehow I got the nerve to publish.
We are all on hiatus and it's killing us so why not? Takes place in the present , following the storyline so far. I welcome all Ideas and thoughts. I'm thinking either Fin texts Elliot or Elliot shows up and goes off on Finn for NOT informing him. I'm a choose your own story kinda girl so tell me what ya wanna see.
"I don't think he will hold out much longer, he's on the verge of losing it already, I think by morning he will tell us everything we need to know" Elliot grips the steering wheel as he turns left towards his apartment while on the speaker phone with Bell. This day from hell was coming to an end and he couldn't wait to get home to a hot shower and cold beer.
"Oh he's losing it for sure, he's been pacing for hours, what the hell did you say to him Stabler?" Bell takes one last glance at the suspect before heading back to her office passing Jett on her way out giving a small wave.
" The truth " Elliot states as if it was the simplest explanation.
Bell nods, giving a brief noise, not quite a response but enough that Elliot understands on the other end of the line. She sits down at her desk looking over the file once more. Her phone beeps as she holds it out to read the message displaying across her screen, OIS - CODE 3 - SVU.
"We'll break him in the morning, don't stay too late-" Elliot begins as he turns his engine off, disconnecting his phone from the car.
"Hang on a second Elliot." She puts the phone on speaker pulling up the message to read the full brief. The NYPD had put in a new protocol that all messages of Officer involved shootings would go out to every department head, working towards better relations between departments. Bell scanned the email quickly.
At 8:15pm tonight on the corner of Lenox and Vine there was an OIS detailing a member of The Special Victims Unit out of the 1-6. Suspect was apprehended and taken into custody, both victim and officer are being treated for Injuries at Mercy. Updates will come as more information is given.
Bernie walked into the courtyard watching Elliot lock up the car as he headed for the gate giving her a smile and wave, "Like i said, don't stay all night Sarge the dirtbag will still be there in the morning." Elliot smiled wrapping his free arm around his mom giving her head a light kiss as they walked toward the back door shutting the gate behind him.
"..yeah" Bell replied unsure if she should mention the new development to him. She glanced over at the clock seeing it was 8:45pm. The incident happened 30 minutes ago and no further updates have been given. On one hand she knew Elliot still remained close with his old team, his old partner in particular, on the other, she didn't have enough information to get him all worked up over. Bell closed the file in front of her standing up and turning out her desk lamp.
Elliot noticed the change of tone and dropped his keys on the counter as he entered the kitchen nodding to Eli on the couch who gave him a look that was passable for a teenager saying hello. "Everything okay Ayanna?" Elliot leaned against the counter shifting the phone to the opposite ear and took a look at his watch. 8:45pm, God it had been a long day.
Bell's phone quickly dinged again and she pulled back checking the message grabbing her coat and keys.
Update: Victim succumbed to injuries while being treated, Captain Olivia Benson has been identified as the Officer involved, medical status: unknown.
"No Elliot, it's not. You need to get to Mercy, it's Liv."
