A/N Hi! This is my first fanfiction, so please be honest if you like it. Also, sorry it is so short, the chapters will get longer.

Also, in this fanfic, Annabeth is 16 instead of her actual age at the end of BoO. Takes place in Harry's 6th year.

Annabeth P.O.V.

Three years it has been since Annabeth has been to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Three years it has been since she have saw her non-demigod friends. Three years it has been since Annabaeth took a break from the demigod life..

Annabet sighed as she packed her things- just her computer, clothes, a picture of Percy and her, her wand and dagger.

"I promise I will send you a letter at least once a week." Annabeth said, "I swear it on the River Styx."

"I love you." Percy breathed. He pulled her close and kissed her carefully.

"I love you too." Annabeth mumbled after she broke the kiss off, "But, I have to go."

Annabeth climbed into the camp van and asked Argus to take her to the MacArthur Airport.

When they arrived, Annabeth bid him goodbye. She waved as she walked away and wiped a tear from her eyes. She knew she wouldn't see Percy, Piper, Hazel or any of her friends until Christmas.

_LINE BREAK_

After going through International Service, and baggage pickup, Annabeth looked around for the exit. It has been years since she had been to the London City Airport, so she didn't remember her way around perfectly.

Annabeth soon found it and walked out into the cool night air, and hailed herself a taxi.

_TIME SKIP_

Saturday, August 30th

After taking a trip to Diagon Alley to replenish her supplies and books, Annabeth walked back to her hostel in the Leakey Cauldron to write a short letter to Percy about her stay so far in England. When she was done, Annabeth picked up a golden Transfiguration book and started studying.

Harry P.O.V.

"Guys, we only have two more years at Hogwarts." Harry told his friends as he packed his trunk of all his essential supplies.

"I know Harry. We have to study, study, and study if we want to get good grades on our N.E.W.T." Hermione explained sitting on Rons bed

"What does N.E.W.T. even stand for?" questioned Harry

"Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests" Hermione stated

"But Hermione, why do we have to study now?"

"Tell me, do you know how to make the Felix Felicis potion?"

"No, but-"

"Shut up Ronald!"

Annabeth P.O.V.

Sunday, August 31

As Annabeth came onto platform 9 3/4, she noticed something different. Everyone was staring. Annabeth ignored it as she climbed onto the scarlotte train, but still felt uneasy as she walked down across the compartments.

"Hi Neville!" Annabeth waved as she walked past his compartment

"Annabeth?" Neville muttered, "We thought you were dead! What happened?"

Annabeth stopped. She didn't want to explain the story. "I'll explain later"

Hermione P.O.V.

Hermione sighed as she hauled her cart on board, knowing that she would have to suffer another year without her friend by her side. She knew, that although Ron and Harry we great, sometimes she needed to talk to someone who understood. That person was Annabeth Chase. Her best friend since she was eleven years old.

Just then, she saw a familiar blond haired, grey eyed girl walking past her compartment.

"Annabeth?" Hermione uttered. A face snapped towards Hermione in a tense way, "Is that really you?"

"Hermione." Annabeth whispered and then rushed over to hug her tightly

"What happened? Where were you!?"

"Hard to explain. I will later."

Although Annabeth was smiling, Hermione noticed something different about the way Annabeth carried herself. She seemed more tense and ready to fight. And not only that, but if you looked into her eyes, you could see a more broken quality to them. They looked shattered, sad.

"Annabeth," Hermione started, "What happened to you?"
