Hey, here I am again. I'm still under the effect of the "Weekend Buff". Many thanks to those who commented and also those who corrected some mistakes("Some" lol). I'm working on correcting them as I write the next chapter. I will answer all the reviews in the end of chapter notes. For now, I wish you all a good read. Wait, I have to say something like "Toaru majutsu no Index doesn't belong to me" or something like that. It's done.

Chapter 3 - There is still something left to save

In the center of district 7 of Academy City, there was an impenetrable fortress. This was the windowless building. As its name suggests, the building contains no windows, corridors, stairs, air ducts and no sign of a visible entryway. Inside this fortress was a square room made to house a life support tank. Inside this tank, a person was floating upside down. This person looked like a man but also a woman, an adult but also a child, and a saint but also a sinner.

"He is taking an interesting path" Said the "human"

That "human" was someone who was cursed. He would fail at anything he tried and because of this, his plans were meticulous and always changing. There was nothing in that city that he could not manipulate. If something happened, he would know, if something went wrong, it was because he wanted it to go wrong. It was not absurd to say that all the people living in Academy City were nothing more than puppets in his hands.

"His growth is being much greater than expected. If it continues like this, maximum purity will be reached soon." There was no distinguishable expression on his face, but if someone heard these words, they would think he was happy. "I just need to apply a little more pressure"

"I think it could be worse" said Kamijou, carrying 6 bags

"What are you talking about? The shopping trip or your "date"" Uiharu nudged his side, causing him to nearly knock over the bags.

"Very funny"

The two were together with Saten who was a little too pensive. They had already finished their shopping trip and were returning home. The two girls shared the same dormitory, so Kamijou volunteered to accompany them. It still counts as "volunteering" even if you don't have much of a choice, or at least that was what the spiky haired boy kept repeating to himself.

"Your friends are a bit ... eccentric, Kamijou-san" Saten said this with a strange smile on her face "That girl with the short brown hair was a bit intense. Don't tell her that."

"Actually, I'm not exactly her friend" Kamijou replied, with a distant look. He looked at the smartphone in his hand "I mean, of that group I only know Mugino. The others haven't introduced themselves."

"Don't you get a little intimidated by it? Level 5s are basically celebrities here. It was my dream to meet one. Technically it still is."

"I can't tell... maybe a little. But I usually don't think about it too much, to me she's just another girl like you and Uiharu" he looked at the flower girl, who was distracted answering a phone call "Is something wrong?"

When that question was asked, Uiharu raised her head with a worried expression. Kamijou had known her long enough to know that something was wrong.

"My Senpai just warned me of a terrorist attack happening" she tried to sound as calm as possible.

"What?" Kamijou on the other hand almost shouted.

Meanwhile, Mugino was meeting with the rest of the ITEM group in front of a food court. The four girls stared at their smartphones, absorbing all the information they needed. A "terrorist attack" was taking place in the very mall they had decided to visit.

"When did they break in?" Mugino asked "I didn't notice any strange movement"

"Maybe because you were on a super date" Kinuhata stated, receiving a look that had as much power as her boss's Meltdowner

"It's been a few minutes" Takitsubo interrupted, trying to save her friend from imminent death "Some guards started moving suspiciously. Soon after that we got the messages."

"Looks like my lucky streak has come to an end" Said Level 5 with a sigh "At least I got his number"

All the girls looked at her with wide eyes. That's when Meltdowner realized that she said that last part a little too loudly.

"Basically, who are you and what have you done with Mugino?"

"Did you two wake up today with a death wish by chance?" Level 5 did not raise her tone, but her voice was still intimidating.

Before the two girls in question could respond, a sequence of strange things began to happen. First, all the monitors, including the big screen at the entrance to the mall, began to flash with static.

"Is this working?" A female voice spoke through the speakers throughout the mall

All the countless people enjoying their lives in that place stopped for an instant when that young voice sounded. The monitors now displayed a person that everyone understood was the owner of the mysterious voice. The woman seemed to be in a dark room, but everyone could see her perfectly. Her face was covered by a white mask that sported a frightening smile, but this smile soon changed to a scowl. Probably the mask used some strange technology that changed the expression to match the wearer.

"I am sorry to state this, but you are all being used as hostages" The woman spoke this bombshell as if she were saying good morning to a close friend.

People's reactions to that information were mixed. Many became worried and anxious, others started making noise, and a small group stopped what they were doing and tried to head for the exit.

"I suggest you remain calm. Especially those who are thinking of leaving this establishment" The girl continued, smoothing her silver-tipped pink hair nonchalantly "After all, do you think I would make that warning if I hadn't already taken all the necessary precautions?" Her tone was now one of menace. She waited until the crowd had calmed down "Don't worry. I have no intention of hurting anyone here, so don't make me do that. It will all be over soon, so you can all go on living your mediocre lives."

The broadcast was shut down, which left the entire mall population in an uproar. At least the warning was effective, as everyone moved away from the exit as if avoiding the plague.

"Who is this clown?" Mugino asked "What kind of ridiculous announcement was that? Clearly she is bluffing."

"Orders are to clean up this mess" Takitsubo announced in a professional manner "According to the message, lethal damage can be used at will"

"Apparently this is big stuff. I expect at least a good payment after they interrupted my conversation."

"You look super..."

"Whatever you're going to say, you'd better think carefully before you make a mistake" Mugino interrupted her, she was already getting tired of her classmates' jokes "Let's split up. Takitsubo, use your powers to locate espers in restricted areas. Kinuhata and Frenda, one of you take the upstairs, the other go to the underground storage. If you find anything important, let us know immediately."

The two girls nodded, without bothering to make any pertinent comments. They knew that Mugino's patience had a very short limit.

xxxx-xxxx

"Hello, Uiharu?" Kamijou answered his cell phone still half panting.

"You haven't come in yet have you?" The girl had a tone of slight concern.

"Not yet. It's a mess in here. Anti-Skill everywhere." He looked around. The authorities seemed ready to invade at any moment. Kamijou noticed a familiar figure among the group "Yomikawa-san".

Running up to the woman armed with a riot shield, the boy noticed that the expression on her face was not happy at all. It was expected considering the situation, but he had known the woman long enough to know that there was something more.

"Kamijou?" The woman stopped what she was doing and looked at him in astonishment "I'm going to regret what I'm about to ask you, but... what are you thinking of doing?"

"Going in there obviously" The boy approached the woman and lowered his tone "That clearly smells dark. Maybe it has something to do with that matter..."

The busty woman took a deep breath. She knew that if she didn't calm down she would hit the boy over the head with the riot shield she carried with her. Instead she looked around, before handing her "favorite weapon" to him.

"Take this with you"

"Are you sure? This is not your lucky shield?" he said ironically, taking the shield in his hands

"I know I can't stop you, so at least I will try to help you. Take this too" She handed him a modern looking taser "How do you intend to get in? There may be bombs positioned at every entrance. That's the only reason we haven't broken in yet"

"About that..." he put his cell phone on speakerphone "Uiharu, I need to know if it's safe to come in"

"I am reviewing the videos from the security cameras. So far I haven't found anything suspicious. It's probably all a bluff.

"Did you hear?" he asked Yomikawa "I'll go first, when your squadron sees it's safe to go in, take out all the people you can. We don't know what they're up to in there."

"Are you trying to teach me how to do my job?" The woman grinned, crossing her arms and pointing in the direction of the mall entrance with her head "Just don't die, Komoe would cry for weeks. You are her favorite student after all."

"Yeah, yeah" He refrained from making a comment. Instead he turned his attention to his cell phone "Uiharu, can you tell me where "she" is?"

xxxx-xxxx

"Let's split up from here" Mugino said to Takitsubo "You said 3 espers correct? I hope Frenda won't have any problems. She is not the best suited to deal with high level espers without some kind of preparation."

The two were on the fourth and top floor of the building. Once Takitsubo nodded, Mugino walked calmly toward the corridor that would lead to a warehouse. The mall apparently had an underground storage room and another one on the top floor; from the information received, the terrorists' objective was these storage rooms.

"I know you are there, don't be shy" Mugino said as he entered the warehouse full of wooden crates "A member of my team has an incredibly convenient ability you know? With her help I could have shot you with my Meltdowner and killed you before you could react. But I'm kind of bored, so at least give me a decent fight.

Just then, clapping was heard. A black-haired girl in a sailor's school uniform emerged from behind the wooden boxes. She carried a large bag made of synthetic material, and in her hand she held a spoon made of what looked like aluminum.

"Meltdowner you said?" The girl looked at her own reflection in the spoon "A level 5. Our plans didn't involve dealing with someone supposedly that powerful. That's going to be a problem."

"Good to know you're a bunch of garbage, but I'm kind of disappointed right now" Mugino crossed her arms nonchalantly. She didn't sense any threat coming from the girl "What are you trying to accomplish anyway? I saw some guards knocked out on the way here, but according to my colleague there are only three of you. Were you out of money to hire mercenaries, or is your goal just to cause a scene?"

The girl alternated her gaze from the spoon to the face of the level 5. The black-haired girl's face had an indecipherable expression, but she seemed offended by what Meltdowner had said.

"It's easy for you to talk when you're a level 5. Shouldn't you be an example for all of us?"

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Mugino didn't understand what the girl was getting at "You know what, never mind, at least tell me your name and level before I fry your narrow ass."

"Does my level matter to you? Shouldn't the person I am facing be the pinnacle of esper development? Don't worry about me. I am a high level esper it's true, but Academy City still insists on treating me like dirt."

"Look bitch, I don't give a shit about your teenage intrigues or any of the other depressing crap you're trying to shove down my throat, I just want to know if it's worth it to loosen up a bit, you never know when your opponent is going to fall for a blow."

The girl in the sailor uniform sighed. She seemed to be trying to calm down, but the girl in front of her was really hard to deal with. The fact that the black-haired girl hadn't attacked yet said that she had no reason to fight, but that was about to change.

"My name is Kushiro Katabira. I am a level 4 esper, synchrotron user. Satisfied? Or do you want to know my mother's maiden name as well?"

"See, that wasn't so hard" Mugino cracked a twisted grin "Level 4? Did you know that there is a theory that some level 4 espers with rare skills may be able to fight level 5 on equal terms? There are also some with simpler abilities that can do the same thing. I think I heard about a girl with a very powerful telekinetic ability, what was her name again? Well, it doesn't matter, it's all nonsense in the end."

Kushiro cast a sharp glance in Mugino's direction, who looked thoughtful. That made the black-haired girl a little irritated. It was humiliating to be treated as if she were just an irritation not even worth taking seriously. She held the spoon in her hand so tightly that her fingers turned white. Her skill, synchrotron, allowed her to make bombs using aluminum as a base. It was far from a unique ability, but she was the strongest user of this particular power. She believed that if she worked hard, even with an ordinary skill, she could become a level 5 as well as the famous Railgun. However, someone had shown her the truth, and it broke something inside her. This anger took hold of her, and now she was about to show this level 5 what she was capable of doing.

"Mugino-san?" A male voice broke the silence. Rushing footsteps were heard "I finally found you"

The person who had just arrived was none other than Kamijou Touma. He carried a riot shield on his back and was slightly out of breath, he probably had run up several flights of stairs.

"Kamijou?" Mugino sounded confused "You were in the mall looking for me all this time? Don't tell me you're a stalker?"

Meltdowner laughed maliciously. It was her chance to get back at him after the boy tried to be a smartass. She had even forgotten about her opponent, who was looking confused at the newcomer.

"Reinforcements?" Kushiro asked, almost to herself "It doesn't matter, if he's on your team, then I'll blow him up too"

The black-haired girl pulled her arm back, hurling the aluminum spoon toward the two enemies, who stared at each other without regard for the world around them. With a deafening bang, an explosion engulfed the arrogant esper and her "friend," much to Kushiro's delight.

"Not so tough now, are you Meltdowner?" The girl laughed, almost guffawed actually "Is that all a level 5 has to offer?"

"Don't you ever shut the fuck up?"

Upon hearing that bored voice, level 4 took a step back. Emerging from the smoke and completely unharmed, Mugino undid her electron shield, taking the opportunity to tidy her hair slightly. But it wasn't only her, Kamijou Touma coughed slightly because of the smoke and the pieces of debris around him, but there wasn't a single scratch on the boy, who had used his right hand to protect himself from the explosion.

"I-impossible" Stuttering, the poor girl opened her purse with trembling hands.

"Not so fast, trash" Mugino fired a Meltdowner beam, which not only destroyed much of the bag, but the black-haired girl's fingertips as well. "Don't you have any manners? Didn't your mother ever teach you not to interrupt when others are talking?"

Groaning in pain as she clutched her charred fingers, the girl nearly fainted. Not satisfied with all that, Mugino used her skill again, which grazed Kushiro's left leg. She was playing with the poor thing for a while, but she decided it was time to stop.

"Don't worry, I promise your death will be painless" Level 5's smile opened again as she prepared another electron beam. "What?"

However, before she could fire, her ability was forcibly turned off. The person responsible for this was obviously a certain right hand. Mugino looked in the direction of Kamijou, who was holding her by the shoulder.

"That's enough" he said in a restrained but firm manner

"What do you think you are doing? You don't get to decide when enough is enough" She grabbed Touma's hand, pulling it away from her shoulder. "You think you're my boss?"

"She is no longer a threat." He made a slight gesture with his head in the direction of the girl, who was still groaning in pain "I don't know what your mission is here, but I won't let you kill a defenseless person."

"Don't give me that shit, Kamijou" The tea-colored haired girl lost her temper "You think you can just appear out of nowhere and tell me what to do? I barely know you. Miss me with that moralistic shit."

"I'm not telling you what to do. I said I won't let you kill someone who can no longer defend himself."

"Sure, and I'll just cringe like a puppy just because you decide who lives and who dies." She looked straight into his eyes. Killer energy emanated from that brown sea, but the boy didn't give an inch "You think you're on top of the moral high ground here, little hero? You think I don't get it, don't you?"

"What are you talking about?" His tone of voice was neutral, there was no sign of hesitation.

"I've lived long enough in this dark world to realize. This is all a facade isn't it?" Mugino stepped forward. Her breathing practically synchronized with his at that moment "You stink of darkness. There's no denying that" She watched his unwavering expression before continuing "I bet you're trying to redeem yourself for something. You think saving that piece of trash is going to make you better than me?" She almost screamed, like a predator about to end the life of its prey.

"You got it wrong, Mugino Shizuri" This time it was his turn to step forward. He took a deep breath before continuing "She's not the only girl I'm trying to save here"

Those words may have come out almost in a whisper, but they had enough power to make Meltdowner recoil for the first time in that conversation. Her mouth opened, but no sound dared to come out of it. Her throat was suddenly dry, and a discomfort shook her inside. However, Level 5 didn't look away. She let herself be swallowed by the depths of that dark blue almost black.

'This guy... " She shook her head, trying to push those thoughts away. At that instant, Mugino finally looked away, but not because she let herself be intimidated, but because the level 4 girl was getting up. She staggered, pathetically trying to escape from that warehouse. Mugino would not let that happen.

"Where do you think you're going?" Level 5 gave another one of her smiles of pure violence.

"Mugino, don't do that..."

But it was already too late. Meltdowner was already in the middle of her action. However, she didn't use her ability to fire one of her lasers that had enough power to rip through the armor of a battleship, instead she used her "Meltdowner Dash," a technique that used the recoil of her ability to move at higher speeds than she normally could. She advanced towards the black-haired girl, hitting her with a kick to the stomach. With a violent impact, the level 4 was knocked out instantly.

"There, you've done your good deed for the day, satisfied?" She no longer sounded so irritated as she looked at Kamijou's relieved expression.

"I think you hit her harder than necessary, but yeah...I'm satisfied. See, bad girl? That wasn't so hard."

She gave a look of disgust at that mocking smile. She sighed, trying to contain her irritation, she was on a mission, this was no time to quarrel with a potential ally.

"Seriously, I don't know what I was thinking when I didn't blow your brains out in that alley. I had the perfect opportunity when you turned your back on me." She picked up an aluminum spoon from the floor, using it as a mirror to check her look. "You are a pain in the ass"

"That's what they say" He returned to his usual relaxed pose "Now that you've taken care of her, we'd better go after the other two"

When he uttered those words, the girl narrowed her eyes. How did he know how many enemies they had in the mall?

"I see you are aware of the situation. You are full of surprises, Kamijou."

"Thank you" He paused for a moment and looked at her "That was a compliment, wasn't it?" He honestly had no way of being sure when it was this girl he was talking about. She simply replied with a cryptic grin "Okay, that aside, I think we'd better split up. I mean, one of your friends, the one with the black hair, Takitsubo if I'm not mistaken, is around, isn't she? She's a level 4 so she must know her way around. The other one is Kinuhata, the short one with the bob cut, you sent her to the third floor correct?"

"I'm not even going to waste time asking how the hell you know all this. Where are you going with all this?"

"I think I'm going underground, apparently there's something important there. The security cameras are practically inaccessible there, so I don't know what the situation is. What do you think?"

"Beats me" She shrugged and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear "Do what you want, as long as you stay out of the way I really don't care. Just try not to die, there's still a lot we need to talk about."

"I don't intend to die anytime soon, so you'll just have to put up with me until then"

"It's going to suck, but I think it'll be worth it."

With a slight nod, the girl moved on, passing the level 4 who would not be waking up anytime soon.

"Basically, what happened here?"

Frenda walked through the empty corridors until she reached the underground storage rooms. "Empty" was not exactly the right word, if you consider that they were full of bodies. The wounds that caused this varied from person to person, as if whoever did this was enjoying each death.

'This must be it. If I beat this esper, maybe I'll get a nice bonus.

Greed was a defect that was ingrained in Frenda Seivelun's personality. That and her recklessness. Of course, she was usually methodical at times. As an explosives expert, she was very effective if she had time to prepare. Unfortunately that wasn't the case here, but that wouldn't stop her from throwing herself into danger on her own. She had been in difficult situations before, but she had gotten out of them all, it would be no different this time.

'That's weird. What is this open door? Shouldn't that be a storage room?

Frenda's confusion was well-founded. This warehouse was not what it seemed. In addition to the numerous boxes crammed into the place, there was a door at the back that seemed to merge with the environment, almost like a secret room in a dungeon. The blonde approached the door carefully. It was already ajar, so she just had to give it a little push. Her instincts told her to keep her guard up, so she was practically on tiptoe.

"Basically, is that an office?"

"Aren't you making too much noise?" A female voice coming from across the room made Frenda freeze in place "I mean, you could have taken advantage of the element of surprise"

The girl was sitting in a huge chair behind an expensive wooden table. Her legs were crossed over the table, which left her thighs exposed, thanks to her miniskirt that was much more than short. At this moment, Frenda took the opportunity to take a look around the place. Analyzing the environment was fundamental for the coming battle. This room was huge, but practically empty. Since it was underground, it had no windows, but remained well lit.

"I bet it was you who killed all those people. Basically, that ends now. Any last words?" The blonde slid her hand to the back of her miniskirt, yet her opponent didn't seem to mind.

"You are a mercenary, correct? So you must understand a thing or two about money" The girl's voice was monotone, without any emotion behind it.

Removing her feet from the table, the girl with hair as blue as the sea stood. Her skin was as pale as porcelain, and her eyes were as silvery as a full moon. Her appearance had an ethereal feeling, as if the being before the blonde had abandoned its humanity.

"Tell me, what is the most valuable thing in the modern world?" The silver girl spoke again, still without any expression on her face.

"Basically, what does it matter? I came here to fight, not to discuss the stock market."

As she said this, Frenda made her first move. Using both hands, she pulled out two small missiles and launched them towards the girl. They flew in an arc, increasing her speed.

"How classless" Said the blue haired girl, making a brief gesture with her hand "I asked you a question, I ask you not to ignore me"

Frenda's mouth dropped open in surprise. Her attack had failed miserably. The blonde looked down at her missiles, which fell harmlessly near the silver girl.

'Is that... ice? She froze my missiles in mid-air?'

"I have no interest in arguing with someone I'm trying to kill. Basically, I'm telling you to go fuck yourself.

"The answer to my question, ignorant girl, is this" She raised her pale hand. In it was a small electronic device similar to a flash drive "In the modern world we live in, information is worth more than gold. Did you know that famous companies pay exorbitant amounts of money to social networking sites? Even here in Academy city, people are paid for providing information. In this case, research data. Would you believe me if I told you that you've been lied to all this time?

"Basically, I don't give a damn"

Realizing that her missiles were not effective, Frenda pulled out her compact pistol that she only used on rare occasions. It only held six shots, like a revolver, but the blonde didn't make a point of saving it.

"This is useless" The expressionless girl slammed her foot on the ground, causing a wall of water to appear in front of her "My name is Shinseijou Kaguya. Now you have precious information about me"

The wall of water in front of the girl was not very thick, being only a few inches thick, which probably should not be able to stop bullets. With a casual gesture, the wall crumbled. Frozen bullets, six in total, fell to the floor, making a soft melody sound throughout the room.

"That ability... Hydro hand. Basically, I'm right aren't I?"

"In a way, yes. But at the same time, you are completely wrong. I have dubbed my ability "Hydromancer". You can think of it as a rarer variation of Hydro hand" Kaguya brought her hand up to her back, a white smoke appeared in that instant "With it I can not only control the water molecules that my AIM field touches, but also change their physical state at will. If I want, I can even form an ambiguous state, like something between liquid and solid, or even liquid and gaseous. Now a question, do you know why I am giving you all this valuable information about me?"

Frenda opened her mouth, but she didn't have time to utter a single word. Kaguya moved her hand, like someone drawing on a blurred glass. At that instant, a small spear of ice appeared in front of her. With a cry of pain, the blonde girl fell to the ground holding her leg, where the ice spear had been stuck.

"That was pathetic" Announced the girl, her voice still emotionless

"You bitch..." the blonde mustered all her determination to get up. Her pained expression was uncomfortable "Basically..."

"Did you know that scythes are one of the most popular weapons among women in fiction?" As she announced this, instantly an ice scythe materialized in Kaguya's hand "However, technically speaking, scythes are not weapons. You can still do a lot of damage, but they are certainly not suitable for combat. Their shape is made for harvesting, not for murder. After all, the personification of death doesn't need to fight anyone, does it?"

Swinging her "weapon" in an arc, the silver girl aimed at the blonde's chest. The ice blade did not meet flesh, instead she was met with another blade, but this one was made of metal.

"Basically, I haven't died yet" Frenda said, blocking the scythe with the blade hidden in her shoes. She tried to put a smile on her pain-filled face.

Unfortunately, her efforts were futile. In the blink of an eye, the hidden blade was transformed into ice, being destroyed into dozens of pieces.

"I admit, you're tougher than you look" The blue haired girl hit Frenda in the stomach, taking care to hit her with the blunt part of her blade "You know, I think I want to test something on you. I'm sure I'll get some good information."

Frenda's body collapsed. The wound on her leg was not good at all. If it continued like this she would die for sure. Kaguya crouched down next to her. The pale girl put a single finger on the blonde's chin, making her look into her eyes.

"Did you know that the human body is made up of approximately 60% water?" she said this with a twinkle in her eyes, watching the blonde squirm in fear "Movies have a misconception about cryogenic preservation. I mean, in theory it is possible to preserve a human being by freezing him, but the main problem is bringing him back. The truth is that human beings are fragile, A little thermal shock is more than enough to take their lives."

Frenda Seivelum was indeed a person who knew the value of information. She believed that she could beat anyone under the right circumstances, provided the ground was prepared beforehand to give her an advantage. Unfortunately, that was not her fight. The blonde closed her eyes, accepting her fate.

'Maybe being frozen is a painless death. At least she won't cut me in two with that scythe' The blonde girl couldn't help but grin at that instant. They say that your life usually flashes before your eyes at the moment of your death, others also say that you think of all your loved ones. But that was not what happened in that instant. Life in the dark was not always so cruel.

"Huh?" The pale girl withdrew her icy finger from Frenda's chin "I take it this is an ally of yours?

Turning her head toward the door, she saw someone. He wore simple clothes and had no notable features other than that spiky hair. His right fist was tightened to the limit. He also looked angry.

This chapter was a bit awkward to write. Aleister wasn't supposed to show up until this arc was over, but I thought the dialogues would be too cryptic if I didn't make a little mention of him. What do you think?

Well, let's go to the reviews:

Majin Othinus: Thank you very much. Not only for the compliments but also for the corrections. This fanfic is sure to be a long one. Or at least that's what I plan.

Pasapack:Gracias (And that was all my Spanish, sorry). Hope you enjoy the next chapters.

Guest(first of his name):I don't intend to stop any time soon. Thanks for the support.

Guest 2(Biri-Biri boogaloo):The world needs more MuginoXTouma. Thank you for following.

xellos540:This is going to be a long answer. Let's go in parts. About the review of chapter 1, I don't intend to make things happen quickly between these two, but sometimes my shipper side overcomes my pragmatic side. The intention is that Mugino learns about Touma little by little, starting with her interest in his mysterious power and then evolving from there. Now about the review of chapter 2, let's start from the beginning:

Originally, the "revelation" of who the voice in his ear was ,was going to take a little longer to be revealed. But I changed this because I wanted to put Uiharu on the character cards. Kuroko will appear soon xD.

"The best defense is a good Offense Armor" Kinuhata, probably. The name of Saiai's skill in my language subtitles is quite weird, by the way. It's something like "Armor of Thorns".

If it has Uiharu, then it must have Saten. This is all Kamijou's bad luck, believe me. I wouldn't miss the opportunity to get our "legend huntress" to talk about something like this. PML Touma is the best Touma. Fight me! Mugino is kindness incarnate(trust me bro.). Classic reaction. He's just a normal high school boy. Magic isn't real if you don't believe in it. Frenda has full confidence that Mugino will not hurt her. It's not like our level 5 is going to cut her in half or anything. Uiharu got a better "power-up" than what she got in the Jailbreaker arc. LMAO. Cough... Kami-yan disease... cough. No one mocks the determination of our "hero" and gets away with it. Or maybe Touma has a thing for older girls who see no problem in making a slaughter. In closing, thank you very much for all the compliments, I hope you enjoyed the new chapter. By the way, my problems with pronouns are caused by two reasons 1: I am an idiot. 2: In my language, pronouns are used in correspondence with the object in question, not in relation to the person who is speaking. It's a mess, but it's no reason for me to be so careless. I will pay more attention from now on.

I guess that's it for now. Nio leaving.
