Chapter 6 – Heart Calling

All this talk about being in love
I could never get into the party
Now I understand only because
You show me the way, and now it's like

Oh yeah yeah don't get any better
Oh yeah yeah wish that this was forever
'Cause your heart calling
Feels like confetti falling
And it's a celebration,
Feels like a celebration
'Cause your heart calling
Feels like confetti falling
Down, down, down

~ Big Time Rush

Bella's POV

"Girl, I see how it is?" Victoria said.

"What do you mean?" I asked as I was scratching Fluff's ear while she was asleep in my lap.

"I mean, you met Edward Cullen again where he invited you to his place, while you invited him in return to come to your birthday party? I see where this is going." Victoria teased with a wicked smile on her face.

I rolled my eyes at her. "First of all, whatever you're seeing, that was never the case." I said. "And second of all, his sister invited me to her birthday party. So I figure it's only fair that I invite her and Edward to mine."

"But still, Edward invited you to his house. That clearly must mean something." Victoria said.

"He was just being polite. And I was only inside at the entrance for only a few seconds before his sister screamed at the top of her lungs when she saw me." I said.

"Wait, that was her screaming?" Jacob asked, poking his head out from the refrigerator.

"You heard that?" I asked in surprised.

"Dude, wherever Edward lives heard it, everyone in the hotel has heard it, the entire city of Seattle heard it, Canada would no doubt have heard it." Emmett said from behind the kitchen counter. "I swear I thought a group of beagles were on the loose in the city." He added, wiggling a finger in his ear.

"Well regardless of it, looks like Bella has snagged her chances to be with Edward." Alice said happily.

"I really don't know what you're talking about." I said, not making eye contact with her.

"Oh really?" Alice teased.

"Yes, really." I said. "I do know how you failed to tell me that you didn't tell Edward that it was my dog he found." I said, giving Alice a glare as if I'm accusing her, which I am.

I just got back in our hotel room where I met up with my friends where Fluff was welcomed after being found. We are all hanging around the living room as I told them all what has happened when I arrived.

"I thought it was obvious when he found her." Alice smiled with a shrug.

"Do you see Fluff's ribbon?" I asked bluntly as I showed Fluff's naked head. Alice just smiled.

"So since Edward wasn't aware about Fluff and your arrival, how did he react?" Jasper asked in amusement, causing me to chuckle.

"He shut the door and then got all excited in a not so subtle way before he opened it again to try and act like nothing happened." I answered.

"Typical fanboy." Rosalie said, rolling her eyes, though she did chuckle.

"Lucky you got to see Edward." Jacob said after he closed the refrigerator. "And you get to go to his sister's birthday party."

"He said you guys are invited as well." I said.

"Seriously?! Hell yeah!" Emmett boomed, waking up Fluff. "I finally get to meet Edward!"

"You mean we get to meet Edward." Jacob clarified while also having an excited look on his face.

"You guys and football." Jasper said, rolling his eyes while I just shook my head and chuckled.

"I don't know if that's a good idea." Rosalie said with a worried look on her face. "I mean, this is a birthday party for Edward's sister, meaning they will invite family and friends. Wouldn't there be no doubt how people will react when they see us and how word will get out?"

"Oh Rose, you always have to worry over people noticing us to possibly tip of the paparazzi." Alice said, waving it off. "We'll just make it sound like we heard someone is having a birthday party and thought to surprise them since we heard they're big fans of us."

"It makes sense since Forks is a small city." I pointed out.

Rosalie still had a worried look on her face as she was silent. She was thinking until she sighed. "Alright," She said. "But only because I do love kids and I enjoy their presence." She explained, mentioning about her love for kids and to hopefully one day have some of her own.

"Then it's settled!" Alice declared. "We'll go to Edward's house for his sister's party on Saturday and then we get to celebrate Bella's birthday the next day where Edward is also going to be!"

"Oh hell yeah! This weekend is going to be epic!" Emmett said excitedly.

"Now come on Jasper, I need you to come with me to do some shopping!" Alice said and took Jasper's hand and out of the hotel room they go before Jasper could even say anything.

"It's always gotta end up with shopping." Jacob said, shaking his head. "The little freak." He commented, causing me to giggle.

It's Thursday in the evenings and I was in my room with Fluff safely asleep next to me on my bed while I was reading over the script for To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. I'm just glad Fluff is safe in my care. I wasn't going to let her go out of my sight again. Who knows what the poor thing has went through. If it wasn't for Edward and Renesmee, Fluff would forever be lost.

Edward.

Just seeing him again made my heart skip a beat feeling all warm and joyful with the familiar sensation in my stomach. Here I am thinking about Edward again. God, how does one guy have this much affect on me? Why is that? I'm trying ignore what Alice suspects, but I brush it off, not wanting to believe that's possible.

My thoughts were interrupted when my phone rang. I picked it up and smiled when I saw his name on the screen.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Um, hi Bella," Edward responded, causing those butterflies to create that sensation inside me. "Uh, I just wanted to be sure you had my number. I know I texted you before when I gave you my address, but that was before I knew it was… you."

"Oh that's okay, Edward." I giggled, remembering how Edward found out.

"Wait, am I bothering you? Shit, I should've texted." Edward said.

"No, it's okay. I'm not really doing anything." I smiled, tossing my script away randomly.

"Well anyway, I wanted to let you know about my sister's birthday party on Saturday." Edward explained. "It'll start in the afternoon at around one at my house, so if you're able to come, that'll be great."

"Yes, I'll be able to come. Thanks for telling me this, Edward." I said.

"You're welcome. I… I really appreciate for what you're doing for my sister." Edward said.

"Oh it's the least I could do after you guys found Fluff for me." I smiled, feeling the warmth in my chest.

"Well, you didn't have to, but we are happy for you to do that. Just seeing you was enough to make us both happy." Edward said. I believe you made me happy, Edward. I thought.

"Regardless, I'm happy to do this for your sister." I said.

"Speaking of which, don't worry, I didn't tell anyone that you were coming." Edward said as he sounded nervous about something. "We never told my entire family and friends about you. Well… not until they see you."

"Really? No one knows that I'm coming?" I asked in surprised hearing this.

"Well, my sister may have told her class, but from what I heard, they don't believe her." Edward explained. "But anyway, I wanted this party to be about Renesmee and I don't want people to come only to meet you. Plus, I'm sure you want to be away from the spotlight after your concert and everything."

"Wow Edward, that's so generous of you." I said in amazement hearing how not only was Edward was thinking for his sister, but how he was being considerate about my wellbeing. There's more to Edward than I give credit for.

"Well, Forks is a small city, and all people can talk about is mostly the people in the city and what is happening." Edward said.

"So you're saying your family is pretty well known?" I asked.

"Well… even if my parents had a different job occupation, everyone would still talk about them." Edward said.

"What does your parents do?" I asked interestingly as I scooched myself against the bed frame.

"My father is a doctor, he works at Forks Hospital." Edward explained. "He's the best doctor due to his brilliance. He can heal you up, figure out what's wrong with your health, anything. It's no wonder he makes all that money."

Wow, and I was starting to believe how Edward made a name for himself in Forks, but he wouldn't be the most talked about if it weren't for where he came from.

"And your mother?"

"My mom's an interior designer." Edward answered. "She helps with indoor housing designs for people." Well that would explain their home. I thought. "And of course, you've met Renesmee. She's actually a cheerleader for my school where she and her junior squad cheers with the other cheerleaders." He said with a nervous chuckle, causing me to giggle.

"So what do you do in your spare time? I'd like to know more about you." I said.

"Oh," Edward sounded surprised. "Uh okay. Um… well I like listening to music, preferably the classics, but I listen to yours too!" He said quickly, causing me to stifle my laugh. "Um, I enjoy hanging out with my friends. I'm a senior in high school where I'm to attend the University of Washington and play football there."

I was well aware about Edward being a football player there, but I had to remind myself that he doesn't know I was there that night and that concert was the first time we officially met.

"Oh, you play football?" I asked, putting on my best acting skills, pretending I didn't know.

"Yeah, I play quarterback for my team. I'm… alright as a quarterback. Good enough to make the team." Edward said. Oh I believe you're more than good, Edward. I thought, remembering how well he played that night.

"And what about your friends? I'd like to know who I'm meeting when I come over." I said.

"Oh, I have a good group of friends. We're pretty much like you and your costars in Rainbow Garden. They're going to flip when they see you guys." Edward said.

"I guess I shouldn't be surprised about that." I chuckled.

"Well I think being fans is an understatement." Edward said. "One of them is Jessica and she is all about the gossip and news, especially on celebrities. She runs that fan forum website about you."

"Really?" I asked in surprised. This is news to me. I knew I have many fans and they make lots of fan websites and social media accounts dedicated to me, and I know all about them, especially the one I saw talking about anything related to me and any updates such as when the next episode of Rainbow Garden comes out, my music, everything. I wasn't expecting that it was all run by one of Edward's friends.

"Yeah, so be ready with all the questioning you'll get from her." Edward said with a chuckle. "But anyways, there's Angela. She's an honors student. She and my buddy Ben have been together since the beginning of high school. Though they had feelings for one another longer than that." He chuckled.

"Anyway, there's Alec and Jane who are fraternal twins. They are only two minutes apart."

"Only two?" I asked, letting out a laugh.

"Yeah, a lot can happen in two minutes." Edward said. "Their dad is the principal at my high school and he's also good friends with my dad, so we've known each other for a long time."

"There's Heidi, she's a singer like you, but she just does it for the fun, not as a career. And yet she has lots of followers on Instagram." Edward commented. Hold on, there's something familiar about Heidi that I can't put my finger on based on what Edward's telling me about her.

"Another one is Seth. He's pretty much my muscles in the group." Edward laughed. "His mom works in the same hospital with my dad as a nurse and he's pretty much looks like a boy with a man body." He said.

"And there's Demetri, he's my best bud. Pretty much since the day he rescued my ass from an animal pen at the petting zoo when we were kids." Edward finished.

"They sound like great people, Edward." I said.

"Yeah, we're pretty close. Like I said, we're pretty much like the friends in Rainbow Garden. We're always there for one another." Edward said.

"Well I can't wait to meet them on Saturday." I smiled. "And I can't wait to see you all at your sister's party."

"Oh that reminds me, the theme for Renesmee's party is Disney, which means everything is going to be all Disney related." Edward explained. "It'll be pretty much like we're in Disneyland, except it'll be at my house and there's no rides except for a bounce house Demetri's going to have arranged. But my mom's coworker's daughter works at Disneyland and she was able to hook us up with the costumes so we can dress up as our favorite Disney character and the girls can do makeup for Renesmee and her friends like they do at Disneyland. You and your friends can join us if you would like."

"Ooh I'd love to dress up as Cinderella!" I said excitedly. It's always been my dream to dress us as Cinderella. To be dressed up for a ball and wear those glass slippers even though it'd be fake, and dance with my future prince charming is something I want to happen and have my happily ever after.

"Yeah," Edward said slowly that sounded unfortunate. "You can't be Cinderella, Jane already called it."

"She can't be anyone else?" I teased with a giggle.

"Oh it's not just her or you. All the girls wanted to be Cinderella, but they know better than to fight with Jane on it." Edward explained.

"Why is that?" I asked in confusion.

"Jane is terrifying!"

"What?" I asked, bursting out a laugh.

"No, I'm not joking! Jane is scary beyond all reason and you do NOT want to cross with her!" Edward said as he had a hint of fear in it.

"I think you're exaggerating about her." I said while trying to maintain my laugh.

"I am not! She is the scariest person in the world!" Edward said.

"Oh come on," I said like he's being ridiculous. "I know scary when I see it from someone, and this one's my best friend in the whole world." I said, referring to Alice, despite her size.

"Trust me, Jane is scary. How she's related to her brother, I don't know. But you don't want to mess with a tiny girl like Jane. Even when all the girls went against Jane together, they were still were no match for her." Edward said.

"Still sounds like Alice to me." I chuckled.

"Oh yeah, one time when we were kids, I learned my lesson the hard way knowing about Jane where… well… let's just say she's got a serious strong grip and I'm still debating on wearing a cup protector which thankfully I didn't fall behind on puberty." Edward said, causing me to stop laughing immediately.

Whoa. I thought. Okay, I may know now about Edward's friends, but I'm going to need to know them more on another level based on personality.

"Well how did they settled on Jane being Cinderella?" I asked.

"Oh it's simple, Jane said she wanted to be Cinderella, as did the other girls, and then Jane said and quote, "You bitches got a problem with that? We can settle it right now!" And that is how Jane got to be Cinderella." Edward answered, causing me to be even more confused since that didn't make any sense at all.

I guess I'll learn more about them when I see them. I thought as I continue the conversation with Edward on the phone before it was getting late and we both hung up for the night as I was getting even more excited for Saturday.

"I still can't believe we're doing this." Rosalie said as we were all in the van with Emmett behind the wheel taking us to Edward's house on a Saturday afternoon.

"Then why are you here, Blondie?" Jacob asked, rolling his eyes.

"I'm not being a fanboy of Edward Cullen like you are!" Rosalie snapped at him.

"Can we just enjoy the ride for at least a minute without you two bickering?" Jasper asked.

"Well we could, but it'll be a lot easier if she could stop complaining at all." Jacob said with a smirk.

"How about you stick your head out the window?!" Rosalie snapped.

"Well, that was almost a minute." Jasper sighed as I did the same while those two started arguing back and forth like always. How did those two managed to be friends is a mystery to us all.

We are on our way to Edward's house for his sister's birthday party and I'm pretty excited to be there. It'd be nice going to a party without all the fancy decorations, loud music, a limo ride, or even having pictures being taken for the news. Well, there will be people taking our picture and post it on social media, but you get the idea. It'll be nothing like the parties I've been to, or had mostly set up by my mother who goes far and beyond to give me a party where all the girls would be jealous. I'm not a fan of big parties. It brings me the center of attention. I already dealt that enough as a celebrity when it comes to events for TVs, movies or my music. So to go to a party that doesn't involve me would be nice to not have the spotlight on me. At least I hope so when we arrive and people still pay attention about Renesmee since it's her party, not mine. Charlie would've come with us as well, but he made plans with Renee for today to celebrate their anniversary of the first time they went out together. Or was it Renee who made the plans. Well, either way, it's nice they're spending time together.

"Rose, we're not going to stop you." Victoria said when we arrived at the driveway of Edward's home and followed the sign where it directed us to go that way to the backyard where we can hear a lot of commotion going on. "You can just call an Uber and head back to the hotel."

"Look, I said I'd be going since I love kids. I'm just worried about when people see us and spread the word." Rosalie said.

"Relax Rosalie, everything will be fine." Alice said, waving it off. "Celebrities always go surprise their fans in front of their friends and family. They can post pics of them and no harm comes after that."

"Plus, Edward assured me that no one knows about us coming and we'd be okay when they see us." I said.

"Should we really take his word?" Rosalie asked.

"What, because he's just a fan?" Emmett asked with a raised eyebrow.

Rosalie sighed. "I'm just saying we never know."

"Well here's something we don't know, is that Edward Cullen seems to be living a fine life. I mean, I almost made myself believe the house was just for show, but boy am I wrong." Jacob said when we entered the backyard and saw it all.

If it wasn't for the size of this backyard, this place would've looked crowded. There were a lot of people here, but not as many. Everyone was scattered around; sitting by the patio, by the food tables or even standing around. The place was filled with decorations of blue, white and silver balloons, and lots of Disney princesses décor along with a bounce house. Music can be heard in the background, but I think the crowd here are somehow louder than it as they were chatting.

"Wow." Victoria said in amazement as we all admired the scenery.

"I'd never would expect someone like Edward to have a house like this when he lives in a small city." Jasper said.

"Well, his mom does house designing. I didn't get to see much inside though, but it was quite nice in there." I said.

"I guess it would make sense to back Edward up on his imagery since he's the star quarterback for his school." Alice said.

"It is impressive." Rosalie admitted.

"Wow, Rosalie, for once, you're not complaining." Jacob said, earning a glare from her.

"Okay look, I am committed to staying here to celebrate Edward's sister's birthday since he helped Bella find Fluff, but let's not draw any attention to ourselves." Rosalie said.

Victoria looked around. "Um, I think it's too late, but I'm not sure if we should worry." She said as I looked around and saw sure enough, most people are looking at our direction. However, they didn't make a scene such as shouting out about who they see like any fan does. They were talking amongst themselves while looking at us, but that was it.

"There you have it, there was nothing to worry about." Alice said with a smile.

"Still, just don't draw attention to us. And also, we should not say a word about us being at Edward's game last week." Rosalie said.

"You really think people would ask us what we were doing there?" Jacob asked, rolling his eyes.

"Someone could be suspicious if they were there and saw us." Rosalie said.

"If we agree that we won't say a word about it, will you then relax?" I asked. Rosalie nodded her head and we all agree not to say a word about that night.

"Emmett?" Rosalie said when Emmett didn't spoke. "Don't say anything about it, okay?"

"Yeah, sure, of course." Emmett said as he was eyeing on the bounce house. Oh no, Emmett plus bounce house equals nothing but chaos when it comes to him.

Just then, there was a high pitch squeal. "BELLA!" I turned and got down just in time when she tackled me for a hug. "YOU CAME!" Renesmee squealed as she was holding me so tight.

"Hi Renesmee! Happy Birthday!" I smiled.

"I can't believe you're here!" Renesmee said excitedly as she lets go. She was wearing an adorable purple dress. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail as she wore a tiara on her head. Such an adorable little girl. "No one in my class believed me when I told them that you were coming. Now they get to see you!" She said, jumping up and down.

"Well I'm happy to be here for you. I'm sure we'll have a good time together." I smiled as I got up. "Renesmee, I'd like to meet my friends." I introduced her to them. At that moment, Renesmee started squealing even harder.

"Oh my gosh!" She exclaimed and without warning, she tackled Rosalie, being taken by surprise, for a hug. "It's Rainbow Garden!" She then came at Emmett for a hug where he let out an "Oof!" "You're here at my party!" She then came at Victoria, and then at Alice, who actually happily accept the hug, not caring about the results. "I love you guys" She then tackled Jasper for a hug where he sounded like he got the wind knocked out of him. She then let out a scream when she let go. "No way, Jacob!" She then came at Jacob for a hug who was more surprised than anyone. "You're my favorite!"

"Uh, thanks?" Jacob said, more like in a question, causing me to giggle at the reaction.

"I can see why our daughter took off so fast."

"I think she can outrun her brother on the field." I turned to see who said that and saw coming our way was the woman I remembered as Edward and Renesmee's mother, Esme. She was dressed as Snow White, which makes perfect sense for her. By her side was a man dressed as the prince from the movie.

"Hello Bella, it's nice to see you again." Esme smiled as she embraced me in a hug.

"It's nice to see you too, Mrs. Cullen." I said.

"Oh please, none of that formal talk." Esme said when she let go and waved it off. "Just call me Esme."

"Okay Esme." I chuckled and then introduced her to my friends who greeted her while Esme gave them each a hug. Wow, she seems very opened to people she just met.

"Everyone, this is my husband, Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the most brilliant doctor ever, father of my children and my one true love." Esme said, hooking her arm with her husband as she gave him a beaming look.

Okay, remember how I believed where Edward and his sister got their looks from their mother? Well, I was wrong. This man, who must be Edward's father, seems to be the one with the looks. His hair was blonde that is collar-length and he had a well-toned medium frame with a gentle look in his eyes. He almost looks like a movie star. How is Edward and his family aren't famous?

"I think you're exaggerating on the whole brilliant part, Esme." Her husband chuckled as he kissed her forehead before turning to us. "It's nice to meet you all. Like my wife here, you can just call me Carlisle. I'm not on duty and Mr. Cullen is my father." He said, offering his hand.

"It's a pleasure, Carlisle." I said as I shook it. "We're just happy to be here for your daughter's special day."

"Well we are just grateful for you to come. It means a lot to my daughter." Esme said.

"We just want to make Renesmee's dream come true." I said.

"Well you guys just enjoy yourselves and make yourselves comfortable. We're just getting the food ready for the party." Carlisle said.

"Anywhere we could put our presents for Renesmee?" Alice asked showing all the handful of bags she is holding while most of us had gifts wrapped up for Renesmee.

"Why don't you let us take care of it?" Esme offered with a smile as we gave her and Carlisle our gifts. "You all make yourselves comfortable." And with that, she and her husband left with our gifts to place them on the big table where all the other gifts are placed.

"Oh yeah, there's someone else who wanted to come and wish you a happy birthday." I said to Renesmee and got down again, and opened the bag I was carrying, causing my dog's head to pop out with a bark.

"Fluff!" Renesmee exclaimed as she caught Fluff when my dog jumped out of the bag and into Renesmee's arms, licking her face.

"Fluff was really excited to come see you again. I'm sure you two will have a great time together." I smiled.

"Thank you, Bella!" Renesmee said happily. "Come on Fluff, let's go meet my friends!" She said excitedly as she took off with Fluff in her arms, though Fluff's legs were dangling doing so.

"That was adorably funny." Jasper chuckled.

"She is so cute!" Alice squealed.

"And so strong." Emmett added while he and Jacob were grimacing in pain.

"Damn, that little girl packs a punch." Jacob grunted as he held his stomach.

"Looks can fool you." I giggled.

"Yeah, and they can seriously blow you away." Rosalie said as she saw Edward's parents placing the gifts on the table with the rest.

"I'll say, I can see where Edward gets the looks from." Victoria said, licking her lips.

"Seriously, we're at a kids party!" Jasper said to her, causing me to laugh.

"Hey Bella." I turned when I heard his voice and turned to see him smiling.

"Hello Edward!" I said to him with a big smile. Edward was yet in another outfit than before. This time, he was dressed as Prince Adam in his human form from Beauty and The Beast.

"I'm glad you're able to come." Edward said.

"I would never back out after what you and your sister have done for me." I said.

"Really, it was nothing." Edward said and turned to the people who is with him. "Bella, these are my friends I told you about; that's Jessica Stanley, Seth Clearwater, Alec Volturi and his twin sister Jane, Demetri Tracker, Heidi Valentina, Ben Cheney and Angela Webber. Guys, you know who she is." He said introducing me to his friends.

Jessica was dressed as Elsa from Frozen without the blonde hair. Hers was dark brown with voluminous curls. Angela is a very tall girl with light brown hair and glasses as she was dressed as Jasmine. The guy next to her as Aladdin was Ben who is shorter than Angela. He was wearing glasses too with black hair as his skin was golden brown. Alec and Jane as Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid and Cinderella, I can see nothing that makes them similar as twins. Alec was taller, Jane was short. Both of their hairs are short, but his is darker brown while hers is pale brown. Although, if it wasn't for Jane's facial, I would've mistaken her for a boy. Demetri looked a bit lean and hard with black hair. He was dressed as Eugene from Tangled as Rapunzel was portrayed by the girl named Heidi who I immediately remembered her as the one who sang on the big screen at the football game week. Let me say she is just as insanely beautiful as Rosalie, maybe more. Hard to ignore her looks of lustrous mahogany hair and those eyes that would make any men bow to her will. The boy dressed as Prince Charming for Cinderella was Seth. He was tall and gangly built with a youthful face. He was tall and his skill was similar to Jacob's. It was almost if I'm seeing Jacob's long lost brother.

"Hello everyone, it's nice to meet you all." I said with a smile as I was shaking hands with Edward's friends. They accepted it, but was too in shock to say anything from meeting a celebrity in person. "I'm Bella Swan. I'd like you to meet my costars and good friends in real life. That's Rosalie Hale, Jasper Whitlock, Victoria Sutherland, Alice Brandon, Jacob Black and Emmett McCarty."

"What up!" Emmett smiled.

"Hello." Rosalie smiled.

"Bonjour." Victoria smiled, with a wave.

"Sup." Jacob smiled.

"Howdy." Jasper smiled as he imitated himself, tipping an imaginary cowboy hat.

"Hi!" Alice said, beaming, as she shook hands with Edward and his friends. "It's so nice to meet you all! I have a feeling we're all gonna be great friends!" At those words, the girl, Jane, gave out a squeak as she fainted where Edward caught her before she fell to the ground. And this is the girl who is supposedly scary?

"Subtle." Rosalie said as if she was saying "Of course this would happen."

"Well that was a nice introduction." Emmett chuckled.

"Oh great, another fainter." Jacob said, rolling his eyes.

"She fainted twice before meeting you guys." Edward said as he tries to get Jane to stand up while she was still out. "Sorry about her. Anyway, we got the costumes for you guys ready. Go to my mom, she knows where they are."

"Alright, thanks Edward." I smiled as my friends and I left Edward's group to find his mother.

Esme directed us to where to the costumes were and after much debate between ourselves, we decided on what each of us would wear and separated to change into our costumes. A few minutes later, I came out dressed as Belle from Beauty and the Beast wearing her lovely yellow dress she wore in the movies. I looked to see everyone else that appeared all dressed us the characters from the Disney franchise. Emmett and Rosalie were dressed as Phillip and Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, Alice and Jasper were Anna and Kristoff from Frozen, Jacob went as Captain Peter Star Lord Jason Quill from Guardians of the Galaxy while Victoria was dressed as Merida.

"Well I say we all look pretty cute in these outfits." Alice smiled as we all took a look at ourselves. "Who's up for a group photo?" She sang as she held out her phone and we all got together for a group selfie.

"Everything we do makes you want to take a photo." Jacob commented after we were done.

"I'm not a paparazzi." Alice said simply.

"I just wish I were Cinderella." Rosalie said as we were at the door to the backyard.

"Edward's friend already called it." I said as I looked out the window to see where Edward and his friends are suddenly, but they are nowhere to be seen.

"And he said to you that she's scary?" Jacob asked with a scoff.

"Fainting to death doesn't exactly work that way on another person." Emmett said, causing me to shrug.

I was about to walk out into the yard with my friends when Alice pulled me back while the others went ahead.

"So Edward's even cuter than before." Alice said excitedly.

"Where are you going with this, Alice?" I said, rolling my eyes. Though I know exactly what it is.

"Are you really going to deny it?" Alice asked.

"There is nothing to deny, because there is nothing going on." I said.

"Bella, I know you too well, and that lip biting shows that you are denying about it." Alice pointed out, causing me to place a finger on my lips when I felt it twitch. Ugh, really? I thought.

"That doesn't prove anything." I said. "Look, I'm here to celebrate Renesmee's birthday. This is my way of saying thanks to Edward. Can you please drop this?" I asked.

Alice gave out a sigh, but it wasn't sounding like she is disappointed or frustrated. "Fine, but only because you pointed out that you came for a birthday party. I'm just saying, I know you better than anyone and I can tell how you are whenever you see Edward. You seem more than grateful to him. Just understand I just want you to be happy."

"I am happy, Alice." I assured her. "I'm just happy to give my fans the opportunity to meet us all."

"Very well, but don't say that I was right about you and Edward." Alice said and with that, she ended our discussion as we joined the rest of my friends as they were standing on the lawn while everyone else was enjoying themselves, not at all phased to see us like most people do when they see a celebrity. I saw Renesmee with her friends as they were around Fluff where they were taking turns petting her. Fluff seems to please with all the attention she is getting.

My mind was reeling in on what Alice said. I don't know anything about my feelings to Edward other than he's a fan. I've only known him for a short time, and yet, every time at the mention of Edward, my mind feels like it's in another world making me think about him. Not to mention of this feeling inside me. Is this… even possible to feel this way?

"Hey." My thoughts were interrupted causing me to look up to see it was Edward where he and his friends were coming over to us.

"Hey, is everything alright?" I asked him.

"Sorry, friendship meeting." Edward answered.

"Alright, food is ready!" Emmett burst out, and I looked to see him looking at the tables where all the foods are being set up by Carlisle and some other men, all who are loading up the plates, silverware and cups for the foods that being brought.

"Race ya!" Jacob said as he and Emmett took off. Seriously? I thought.

"Hey, wait for us!" Seth cried as he, Alec, Ben, and Demetri followed their lead. I guess they aren't the only ones.

Jasper just stood there watching. From the looks of it, he seems to be fighting the urge as he looks tempted to join them, and at the same trying to maintain a calm, mature poseur. "I better… well… just in case." Without, explaining or even letting us respond, he took off after them.

"Boys." Rosalie rolled her eyes.

"Tell me about it." Heidi said. That caused those two to look at each other and smiled as they laughed and walked away from us to join the boys.

"We better go control those boys before they devour the whole buffet, again." Victoria said.

"Yes, plus, I want to get know some of my new friends." Alice smiled at Edward's friends.

"Don't faint again!" Angela warned Jane just as that girl was about to fall over until she regained herself and plays it cool, or tries to.

"Well on behalf of Jane, I would love to get to know everything about you!" Jessica said excitedly as she took out her phone. "Hope you don't mind if I record you." She said to Alice.

"Not at all." Alice smiled as she and Jessica linked arms together and joined with the other girls to where everyone else is at where you can see the boys already piling their plates with mountains of foods. Well that didn't take long for our friends to get along.

"Your friends sure are unique." I said with a laugh.

"Your friends are somewhat similar to their characters." Edward chuckled.

"I guess that's why we fitted perfectly for the roles of Rainbow Garden." I said. "So what was this friendship meeting about?" I playfully asked.

"Let's just say being surprised of your arrival was an understatement." Edward answered.

"I'm guessing they didn't take the news very well when they found out today?" I giggled.

"Well the hits I got from them wasn't by accident." Edward said as he was rubbing his head.

"Oh… I'm sorry about that." I said when I immediately stopped laughing feeling bad for how Edward took the reaction from his friends.

"It's alright. That's just how we are. They're my best friends since we were young. We're pretty much close in our own special way like how the characters are in Rainbow Garden." Edward said.

"Yeah, believe it or not, when everyone and I first met on the first table reading, we were all just shy awkward group of teens trying to break into the world of acting. But as the years goes by, we became very close like family. And I wouldn't trade anything for it." I smiled, remembering the moments I shared with my costars who I am grateful for to call them my friends.

"I'm glad you have such good friends." Edward said to me.

"Me too, but I'm sure my friendship with them are nothing compared to you and your friends." I said.

"I find it hard to believe." Edward said. There was a moment of silence. "You, um… you look beautiful, Bella."

His compliment took me by surprise. "Oh, thank you." I said with a smile as I looked down when I felt my face feeling warm suddenly. Deep breaths, Bella. Deep breaths. You've dealt with these things before, this shouldn't be any different. I looked up at Edward. "You look good yourself."

"For a guy who plays as The Beast, sure." He said, causing us both to laugh.

"Bella!" We turned to see his sister sprinting over to us. "Can you meet my friends? They want to meet you!" She said when she took my hand.

"I would love to meet them." I smiled as Renesmee was leading me to her friends. Or more like dragging me. Edward was right behind us.

"You look very pretty Bella!" Renesmee said, happily. "Doesn't she, Edward?"

"Y-Yeah, she is." Edward said, causing me to blush at his compliment as I felt the warmth on my face again.

"Why thank you Nessie, but I think you look pretty in that tiara." I said. Renesmee was beaming as she took me to her friends and introduces me to them.

The party was amazing. I was amazed that even though my friends and I were present to attend, all the guest were focusing on Edward's sister. It's amazing even when they interacted with us, it was all about Renesmee. For once, I'm happy about that since it shouldn't always be on me for certain occasions. I don't want to be stealing the spotlight from someone, not like how my mother would get people to bring their cameras and publish it whenever I'm doing something such as volunteering for the community where all eyes were on me, rather than the community itself. No, there are no talks or pictures that talks about me over anything. It was on an equal basis of me spending time with Renesmee as I celebrate her birthday.

The party goes on as the girls and I joined Esme and Edward's female friends to do face painting for the kids. We even did some to each other and then on the boys which was pretty funny. And then there were games for the kids to play and that's where trouble comes in from Emmett where he joins in, even though he was the only grown up participating and winning all the games that it took everything out of Rosalie to grab him by the ear and pull him aside so that the kids can have a fair game. It was time for presents afterwards and Renesmee got a lot gifts from her friends and family. She received lots of presents, most of them from me and my friends. Rosalie her a makeup kit from her products of business she owns called All Hale Cosmetics to help with skin cares and complexions. Victoria got her a bow with actual diamonds on it. Alice bought her over ten dresses that a little over the top. Don't ask about the prices. Emmett got her Mickey mouse ears while Jasper got her earrings of platinum shaped in four pedal flowers. I, on the other hand, got Renesmee a set of books that were used. They were mine when I was a kid so I decided to give them to her. She seems happy about it. However, Renesmee was more ecstatic about Jacob's gift which was a stuff grey wolf. She thanked him by jumping into Jacob's arms, taking him by surprise again but he graciously accepts. After that, it was time for cake as we all sang her Happy Birthday. She blew all seven of her candles, but she wouldn't tell us what she wished for because it won't come true so she says. By seven o'clock, all of the guests have left, leaving just Edward and his family along with his friends and their families, and me and my friends.

"Do you need help with anything?" I asked after we all changed out of our costumes and into what we came in when we got here.

"Oh we got it covered, but you and your friends are more than welcomed to stay. We're just gonna be having an after party." Esme smiled as she and the adults were cleaning out the backyard. Well that's fine with me as judging by the way my friends were thinking, they wanted to stay as well.

"So now what?" I asked Edward.

"We just wait until the adults bring out the things we need for the after party." Edward answered.

"So what is this after party?" Victoria asked him.

"Oh, just chilling by the bonfire where the adults drink while the guys and I play football." Edward shrugged.

"Speaking of which, let's get our teams." Demetri said as he had a football in his hands.

"Cool if we play with you guys?" Jasper asked.

"Yeah, that would be so awesome!" Seth said sounding so excited. Yes, that does sound fun. Though I don't know how to play football, but I can always watch Edward again in action. Unlike before, he's aware that I'll be watching him.

"Yeah, if fact, that way none of us can have an unfair advantage with Jane." Ben said.

"Hey, watch it Ben!" Jane snapped, causing Ben to flinch. Really? I thought as I was still trying to understand how this girl can be so scary.

"Why is having Jane an unfair advantage?" Jacob asked in confusion.

"Have you ever played games with Jane?" Edward asked him.

"No." Jacob answered.

"Have you ever been trapped in a steel cage with a Wolverine?" Edward asked, causing Jacob to be surprised by that answer making me more confused.

"Pff, please, she can't be that tough to be unfair." Emmett said. At that moment, Jane was in a blink of an eye when she came at Emmett so fast and stomped on his foot. "OW!" He cried, jumping on his other foot.

"You wanna go? Come at me! See what happens!" Jane challenged him. Her glare held some sort of fire in her eyes that looked very intimidating. So intimidating it caused Jasper and Jacob to back away in fear while I jumped at what I just witnessed. Before, Jane just fainted and was freaking out over meeting me and I had complete doubt about her, but now, somehow Jane did a complete one-eighty to be this scary as Edward states.

"You weren't kidding about her being scary." I whispered to Edward.

"The scars I got from her since kindergarten doesn't lie." Edward said. "Alright, who wants to be captain against me?"

"I'll do it!" Emmett declared and came over to next to Edward. "I'm super excited to play against you! Let's see if you're as good as you played last week." He smiled.

At those words, everything immediately stopped as my friends and I turned to Emmett like we just had whiplash.

"Wait what?!" Edward said, looking shocked along with his friends where Demetri let the ball in his hands fall to the ground.

"Emmett!" I exclaimed as if I was horrified in embarrassment. Of all the things Emmett could do, and of all the things to be kept secret, he had to blow it with his big mouth. That, right there, where Emmett and secrets, don't go together at all.

"Dumbass." Victoria said in disbelief.

"Why am I not surprised?" Jasper said, slapping a hand on his forehead.

"Idiot!" Jacob muttered in disbelief as Rosalie went over to smack Emmett at the back of his head.

"You weren't supposed to say anything about it!" She hissed at him.

"Fuck, sorry." Emmett said, rubbing his head. That's when Renesmee came over to him.

"Emmett, one dollar." She said, holding out her hand causing me to be confused. What does she want a dollar from Emmett for? Emmett was just as confused as I am as he turned to Edward for an explanation.

"You have to give her a dollar every time you swear around her, even by accident." Edward quickly explained, though stunned still. Oh, I guess that would make sense since it's mature to swear in front of children.

Emmett just shrugged and pulled out his wallet. "Here's twenty bucks." He said, handing Renesmee a twenty dollar bill. "That should cover the rest of the night since I got no filter." He smiled, causing the little girl to smile even bigger as she took off back inside.

"So wait… you were actually at our game last Friday?" Demetri asked Emmett and looked at me and my friends. Oh great, we're busted. Thanks a lot Emmett. I thought.

Victoria sighed and was the first one who spoke. "It's a long story but we were strolling along until we came across your school's football game. And… we were hooked." She answered.

"Yeah Edward, you really slay them out there. You're really good." Jacob said as he picked up the football that was on the ground and tossed it back and forth in his hands.

Edward thanked him for that while I looked away. How can I face Edward? Now he's going to think I'm some stalker or some kind now that he knows.

"Itwasyou I saw after the game?" Edward asked me. I guess he really did saw through my disguise that night.

I took a deep breath as I faced him. "Yeah, I saw you at the game and watched you play, from the very beginning. You were amazing."

"T-Thanks." Edward said.

"Oh! My! God! I don't believe this! This totally confirms our suspicions!" Jessica said and I turned to see her jumping up and down. Oh crap, so people were suspicious of us. Mom won't let this down if she hears about this.

"I knew this was gonna get out of hand if they suspected it." Rosalie said, shaking her head.

"Oh so what? They know, we know, pretty much now, everyone knows who was at the game and what happened." Alice smiled and waved it off like it was no big deal. How can she be so positive about all this?

"Yeah, I mean it's not like they told their school we were there, right?" Jasper smiled turning to Edward.

"Well, no. We weren't sure if it was you I saw." Edward said.

"Then there we go. There's no harm and no damage." Jasper said. Well, I guess if no one else really suspected anything last week, then I guess it's okay. "So how about we choose teams?"

"Yeah, let's play some football!" Emmett boomed.

"Okay, uh, why don't you pick first?" Edward said to Emmett.

"Sure!" Emmett smiled and looked around. "Hmm, Ben."

"Yeah?" Ben asked. Um, I'm no expert here, but I'm pretty sure Emmett wasn't asking Ben something.

"No, I'm picking you." Emmett said, causing Ben to be surprised.

"Wait, first… for… a team?" Ben looked at Edward. "What just happened?" He asked, causing Edward to shrug as Ben slowly walked over to Emmett.

"Alright D, you and me?" Edward asked Demetri.

"You know it!" Demetri said as he and Edward pounded fists. "Let's show them how the dynamic duo do it!"

Emmett looked at those who wanted to play. "Beast Boy, let's go!" He said to Seth.

"He said my nickname." Seth said breathlessly, sounding completely speechless as he came over to Emmett.

"Jacob?" Jacob smiled as he joined Edward and Demetri and handed Edward the ball.

"Alec." Emmett said, causing Alec to walk over to him.

"Looks like you're with us Jasper." Edward said to him.

"Sounds good." Jasper smiled.

"Alright, let's if I can make good use of your players." Emmett grinned as Edward tossed him the ball while he looked at who's with him. "Oh this is gonna be so fun!"

And it was. That's only because Edward's team beat Emmett's team which was quite funny. The guys continue to play around about football while the girls and I watched along with Renesmee. The adults came out to set up the bonfire and had snacks laid out along with s'mores, my favorite treat. We all gathered around the bonfire enjoying this beautiful moment as night was falling. I was sitting next to Edward with his sister by my side. There, Renesmee had tuckered herself out and fell asleep. I held her close to me and wrapped us both in a blanket to keep us room.

I am just happy to have giving this little girl the best birthday party she has given. I'm sure she will never forget this as it was most certainly the best moment of her life. And just spending time with Renesmee and getting to know her, well, she practically has me wrapped around her fingers. She's so sweet and adorable, and the fact that she looks up to me, makes me feel good about myself to consider Renesmee as the sister I always wanted. I always wanted a sibling. A brother or sister is fine by me. I would love to spend time with them whenever mom and dad aren't around. However, Renee states one kid was good enough, plus she did not want to lose her figure she had to regain it after she gave birth to me. And with that, I was an only child to Charlie and Renee Swan.

I pulled Renesmee closer to me, and then pulled out my phone and took a quick photo of us together so I can remember this moment of being with a sister even though we're not by blood. When I put my phone away, I looked up to see Edward aiming his phone at me and his sister with a smile, causing to blush as I looked away. The effect this guy has on me continues as it makes my heart beat so fast. Everything feels like a thousand emotions in a single moment.

At around eleven, it was time for us to leave so we all helped the Cullens clean up as the sky got dark. Soon, Edward's friends and their family left after saying goodbye, leaving me and my friends with Edward and his parents as Renesmee was already tucked in bed.

"That was a fun party. Thanks for inviting us." Rosalie said.

"Oh it was a pleasure having you all. Thank you for making this party so memorable for my daughter." Esme said, hugging my friends before coming to me. "And thank you most of all, Bella."

"It was a pleasure, Esme." I said, hugging her back.

"No, you don't know how much my children adore you." Esme said when we pulled apart, but held my hands in hers. "Seeing you come to celebrate my daughter's birthday and getting to spend time with my son made me the happiest mom alive. I believed fate really brought you guys together since that concert."

I couldn't help but chuckled. "Well, my dog was the one who got out." I said.

"Perhaps Fluff was the one that brought you to us." Carlisle teased as he came over to us and we looked to see Fluff asleep in her carrier bag, causing us to laugh.

"Do take care of yourselves, Bella." Esme said, giving my hands a squeeze. "I hope we see each other again."

"It was a pleasure to meet you, Bella." Carlisle smiled as he shook my hand with his.

"It was a pleasure to meet you both. Thanks again." I said and went over to pick up the bag with Fluff in it as I walked over to Edward after seeing my friends already left the house.

"Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow. Thanks for having me over. I had a great time." I smiled as I sat the bag down.

"You don't have to thank me Bella. I'm just glad you came and made my sister's birthday special." Edward smiled.

"She's amazing." I said. Once again, there was silence between us, and I didn't know what else to say to make this night last longer. "Well… bye, Edward." I slowly came over to hug him.

"Bye… Bella." Edward said. That's when Edward did the same thing as he puts his arms around me, causing my heart to beat even faster than before. I thought hugging Edward would make this feeling stop, but now it feels like my heart is about to burst." Um, uh, have a good night." He said when we let go.

"You have a good night as well." I said, picking up Fluff as I slowly backed away before I turned and walked out the door. I went over to the van where everyone else is already in it and stopped and turned to see Edward still at the door. I smiled as I gave a wave, causing Edward to do the same before I got in. Once I was in, and fastened my seatbelt, Emmett took the wheel and pulled out of the Cullen's driveway and soon, we were heading home.

"That was a fun party!" Emmett said.

"It was until you tried to really play the games for kids and adults, dumbass." Victoria said. "You're such a child."

"What, it looked fun! I just can't believe you had pulled me aside like that, babe." Emmett complained to her.

"Well I shouldn't be standing there where everyone sees that the man I'm dating is a man-child. Not to mention as Victoria would say, what a dumbass you were." Rosalie then smacked Emmett in the back of the head. "I told you not to say anything about us being at the game last week! I should've known you were never paying any attention."

"Sorry," Emmett said, while rubbing the back of his head with one hand still on the steering wheel. "I just got all excited to play football with him."

"Save it, Rose." Jasper said when Rosalie was about say something. "We know what you're going to say and may I confirmed that although Edward and his friends did saw us that night, they weren't sure until tonight that it was us."

"Yeah, it was just amongst them that knew and judging by the party, no one else knew about us." Alice said.

Rosalie sighed and turned to Emmett. "Don't think I'm not mad you anymore." She said to him.

"Regardless, it sure was nice to be somewhere without all the cameras pointing at us and people trying to pester us with questions and such." Jacob said. "Plus, to see Edward in person was such a thrill. His friends were nice too."

"Well since we had a good time at his sister's party, I'm sure they'll have a great time on Sunday for Bella's birthday party." Alice said excitedly.

I was too tired to say anything so I leaned back against my seat and looked out the window, while my mind was in deep thought.

About three things I was absolutely positive about. First, Edward was just an ordinary guy with an ordinary life. Of course, that part seemed obvious based on events. Second, he wasn't like any fan whenever they meet a celebrity. He presented himself in a calm manner despite how he was honored to have met me, he was very mature about it. What's more was that he treated me like an equal, as if I was a part of his group. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with Edward Cullen.

And there you have it! Now we got a bit of a glimpse of Bella's life and her point of view in the story. And because of that, I may have to edit out some things in Into You due to what I wrote there that seems a bit off and I wanted to be sure both stories are in sync not just with conversation but with how things came out if you get what I mean.

Anyway, now, we will put this on a hiatus as we go back to Into You. I already put in the latest chapter so check it out! I will go back to Light Me Up when Into You is complete. For that are reading this story first, Into You is on Edward's POV of Light Me Up as you hear about his life as an ordinary guy being a fan of the great Bella Swan. Based on the outline I planned out, Into You will have about ten more chapters. I will see you when I see you! Please review.
