A/N: Around a year ago I wrote a story called "Ash's Mew Journey vs the Paradox of Power FANFIC." Yes, that was the full name of the story.

I was doing a nanowrimo challenge trying to write as fast as I could, and I literally wrote the final chapter at 11pm on the final day before uploading it in bulk.

But I did like the story Idea - Ash being a Mew and all that. So I've decided to rewrite it. It won't be rushed this time, and it won't be as weird with the plot.

Chapter 1: Green Dusk

In a shady hallway, black but flooded with Florescent light, a brown haired woman, seemingly in her thirties, ran panicking. She wore a black uniform shirt and a black short skirt. On the uniform was the letter 'R' in a sharp red.

For this was Green Verdé-Ferrari. Once a renowned Pokémon Trainer and Champion of Kanto, she was defeated and dethroned by Samuel Oak in 1986. She thinks Samuel was defeated at some point, but she's too focused on… other endeavors to care.

After her defeat, she met a man her age named Giovanni Ferrari. Romance bloomed, and Green became Green Ferrari, replacing her maiden name Verde with that of Giovanni.

But her husband wasn't all he seemed. He worked for an irreparable criminal organization - Team Rocket. Scratch that, he led the criminal organization. And it wasn't to long until Green was forced into the group as well. Green had a scientific and ingenious mind, and that was put to work, as she was part of a project to create the perfect Pokémon, alongside esteemed scientists, like Blaine Kazan, Minoru Fuji, and Colress Johansson.

These scientists were famous outside their life in the Rocket's - its like they lived a double-life. One moment, Blaine would be giving young trainers Volcanobadges and telling them to cherish their Pokémon, the next Blaine would be putting Ditto's into chambers to test painful chemicals. Team Rocket was cruel, that was for sure.

And when they successfully created two Mewtwo units, two Pokémon which were still pure of heart, untainted by the expiriments that would need to be pulled on them, Green knew she needed to rebel. Part of the project required the Mewtwo's to be trained. While Giovanni raised his with force, Green raised hers with care, just like her other Pokémon. All the while, she bided her time until her Mewtwo was strong enough.

Now was the time. Giovanni ordered the Mew that was captured to be executed. Blaine was going to comply, but Green stopped him. Fuji and Colress didn't seem to mind to much.

Green had seven Pokémon. Her team that had been with her since her own journey back when she was ten, and Mewtwo that was by her side.

She burst into Giovanni's office…

"Giovanni," Green said. "This needs to end, now!"

"What is it, my love? I take it Mew has been executed, right?" Giovanni questioned.

"Don't call me your love," Green replied, venom on her face. "I've contacted the International Police."

"You fool! They'll arrest you too!"

"They promised me amnesty in exchange for turning you in."

Green reached for a Pokeball, and sent out her designated lead Pokémon - the Pokémon she always sent out first in battles to prepare for the rest of the team.

"Clefable, ready for battle!"

"Clefable!"

"Are you threatening me, Dr. Verdé," Giovanni replied.

"Yes I am," Green replied, smirking. "Use moonblast!"

Clefable's eyes glowed, and a blast of pearlescent light soared towards Giovanni…

And struck his Persian, who jumped to protect him.

"Persian, use slash!" Giovanni commanded. Persian jumped forward and carried out the command dutifully, slashing Clefable in the face, making her stumble a little.

"Clefable, time to risk it all! Use Metronome!"

Clefable wagged her finger, and suddenly-"

A blue sphere struck Persian, knocking him to the ground."

"That must have been aura sphere," Green said happily.

"Enough of this! Why should I play by the rules!"

Giovanni threw five Pokéballs, and out came Rhydon, Nidoking, Kaghaskhan, Dugtrio, and Vileplume. The five Pokémon stood menacingly over Clefable.

Before Green could even react, a flurry of rocks flew directly at Clefable, knocking her unconscious.

Green returned her, and threw five Pokeballs yet again.

The first one opened, and a bird Pokémon popped out, cawing ferociously - Staraptor.

The second one opened, and a Pokémon seemed to glitch through the air, buzzing - Porygon-Z.

The third one opened, and a Pokémon stood, a bland expression in his eyes - Slowbro.

The fourth one opened, and this Pokémon stood strung, flexing it's four arms - Machamp.

Lastly was a Butterfree, one that was pink in color due to experiments with Pinkan Berries.

"It's over, Giovanni," Green said. "I have the advantage. Do you want to surrender now?"

"As if I would ever do that, dear." Giovanni replied. "Attack!"

Chaos quickly began.

That was really the only way to describe it. Machamp launched a flurry of punches against Rhydon, before Vileplume launched Machamp back into Slowbro with Leaf Storm.

Slowbro stood back up, and a torrent of water jetted towards Rhydon, knocking him to the ground.

"See?" Green said.

"Now wait," Giovanni said. "You haven't won yet, you insolent fool!"

"What happened to 'My Love'," Green said as Giovanni returned Rhydon.

Suddenly, disaster struck. In the form of an Earthquake sweeping the battlefield. Nidoking was the source of the quake, the powerful quake that knocked over furniture in the room. The roof started the crumble slightly.

The shockwave indiscriminately targeted ally and enemy, and knocked Slowbro out.

Kanghaskhan kicked Machamp, jumping on him. With a growl, Machamp lifted Kaghaskhan up into the air, then slammed her into the ground. As Kanghaskhan fought Machamp, Green realized something.

The Kanghaskhan didn't have a child in the pouch.

Green thought back to the expiriments she had to do. One of them was testing against a baby Kanghaskhan, and the expiriment didn't result in it surviving.

For Kaghaskhan, the child wasn't just its offspring (in fact, the child was born at the same time as the mother, somehow), but a part of it.

Kanghaskhan was about to Hyper Beam Machamp, when Green used one of her abilities.

"Kanghaskhan."

Green reached out using Aura into Kanghaskhan's mind.

"Giovanni destroyed your child," Green said. It was the truth.

Kanghaskhan paused the hyper beam, and yelled something in her own language.

"Kaghaskhaaaaan!"

"Kanghaskhan," Giovanni commanded. "Attack Green! Now!"

Kanghaskhan charged up hyper beam again, facing Green. A sphere of light charged up infront of Kanghaskhan's mouth, ready to turn into a beam of light. Porygon-Z was trapped by Vileplume vines. Dugtrio had used stone edge to knock Staraptor out of the sky, and Butterfree was underground chasing Dugtrio.

Green had nothing left. Kanghaskhan would knock her out, and she'd be executed for betraying the Rocket's.

But then, two lucky events occurred.

First of all, Kanghaskhan's attack never came. Kanghaskhan turned her head towards her child's murderer and the supercharged Hyper Beam struck Giovanni. The rest of Giovanni's team turned about-face too, and now it was everyone else be Giovanni. Green pulled out a satchel, and tossed revives at her Pokémon, bringing them back into the game.

Secondly, more people burst into the doors. The blue uniforms, the badges…

The international police were here.

"It's over, Giovanni." Green said. "No way out."

"There is always a way out," Giovanni said. "You will regret arresting me."

"Go. Arrest him." Delia said to the cops.

"You fool!" Giovanni said, before removing a purple and pink Pokéball. "This is the one Pokémon that will never disobey me!"

Giovanni threw the pokeball, and in a blinding flash of light…

Mewtwo was here.

Mewtwo launched a blast of psychic energy at some of the cops, creating an explosion. When the cloud of dust settles, there was nothing but a crater.

Giovanni then pressed a button, and his chair turned into an elevator to his secure bunker.

Green sent out her own Mewtwo.

"We must stand out ground," Green said.

"No," Green's Mewtwo replied. "You run. We'll rendezvous outside this lair. Oh, and after this, this lair… won't exist."

"Don't need to hear that twice," Green said,

Green returned her Pokémon, and as psychic blasts collided the lair started collapsing.

Green ran through the hallway. Team Rocket grunts we're in the hallway too, but they were both running from the collapse.

"Dr. Verdé," One grunt said. "The elevator out is that way,"

There was a fork in the road. One way lead to the elevator out. The other led to the lab.

Where Mew was still..

Green ran the other way. If she freed mew, Mew could get her out with that convenient Teleport of theirs. If not…

Well, it was a good sacrifice.

Green ran down the hallway, until she arrived in the Lab.

The lab was a simple room - tables with chemistry tools, cloning tanks in the center. Green's desk stood next to Colress, Blaine, and Minoru Fuji's desks. The said scientists were gone - they must have escaped successfully… sadly.

Green turned to the energy cage in the room. Inside, a pink, feline Pokémon , curled up sleeping. This was Mew: the mythical Pokémon.

From Green's past observations, Mew was a playful Pokémon, but a very tricky one to contain. They were capable of using any move that existed.

But that doesn't matter now. Green entered her pascode into the cage, and Mew burst out.

Suddenly, a rumbling could be heard. The collapse of the facility continued towards the lab room.

"Mew, teleport me out of here, I'll explain later!"

"Why should I, Rocket."

"I'm going to stop Giovanni, just get me out of here so I don't die!"

"Ugh, Fine," Mew replied. Mew then teleported Green and themself out of the lab.

Now, they were in Viridian Forest.

"Wait, why are we in Viridian Forest! The lab I was just in was in a mansion on Cinnabar!"

"Because You, Green, are dumb. I'm psychic, so I knew you were going to let me out of here, and I have a plan."

"Which is?"

"We take on new lives, duh. Giovanni's at large, and he will know we're gone. You can change your name, I can disguise as a human. Then we'll movie into some small town."

"That's actually a good idea," Green had to admit. "Ok, let's see your disguise,"

Mew glowed, and turned into a human Baby.

"Ok, that's pretty good.

"It is," Mew-baby replied.

"But, I think you need to actually act like a baby."

"I definitely am not the best actor," Mew admitted sheepishly. "I'm sure I'll slip up somewhere. Maybe I'll be pretending to be a kindergartner, get trapped on a playground, then instinctually turn into a Pidgey and shock everyone. When humans see me, I never hide who I am, but..

"Well, just like you, I'm a psychic," Green said. "I can erase your memory, then raise you as my own. And don't worry - before you turn 10, and you become an adult, I'll give you back your memories."

"It's a plan, then," Green said. "Any last words?"

"Yea," Mew said. "Ok no, I don't actually have any-"

Green put her hands on Mew's head, who was at this point still a human baby. The pulse of energy, the aura… Mew's mind was wiped.

But a mind erasing is not truly possible. Only memory transfer. So all of Mew's memories went into the back of Green's brain - repressed in back storage, so to speak.

Green could sense it in Mew's aura.

Mew was no more. Now, there was only a human boy.

He was beautiful.

The meeting was long and boring. Green met with witness protection agents as well as the few interpol members who survived the explosion. Giovanni was at large, and Team Rocket would certainly attack Green if they ever found her. As such, a new story was made.

Dr. Green Verdé-Ferrari, former champion and Team Rocket Scientist died in the explosion that destroyed Team Rocket's Lab and set fire to the Cinnabar Mansion that was over top of it.

But although Green's story was over, the woman who stopped Giovanni was still around. She just wasn't Green. Not anymore. She was now a mother, with a child who didn't know he was a mew.

This is how her new story began, and how the story of her son began.

This is the story of Delia Ketchum, and her son Ash.

A/N: What did you think about the chapter. Sorry if the battle wasn't that great, I'm not the best at writing battle.
