"Ok, who the fuck are you, and how did you break into my shop!" Amelia exclaimed. If she wasn't careful she was going to burn the stranger where she stood.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! The sign said you were open and the door was unlocked, and i thought it was ok to come in, and it's a really cute place, oh and you have a nice body, not that i was looking, i mean i just caught a glimpse, but i think i need to be going."

Amelia couldn't help it as a small grin formed on her lips. The red head was rambling like a teenager, and it was very adorable. "Woah, ok, slow down there."

The red head turned around with her fingers covering her eyes, ears bright red in embarrassment. "I'm so so sorry, I didn't mean to come in unannounced." Amelia blew out a breath and shook her head.

"It's fine. It's my fault for forgetting to turn off the open sign. And I've been meaning to get that latch fixed." She watched as the redhead slowly lowered her hands. There was something vaguely familiar about her face, but Amelia couldn't place it. "Ok miss, why don't we go into my office and talk?"

The red head nodded and silently followed Ameila down the hall. She looked at the pictures hanging and smiled at all the smiling people. This Amelia seems nice. Maybe she can help me out after all.

They entered into a spacious office with a plush leather couch, mahogany desk with an expensive looking gaming chair, bookshelves lined with all sorts of books, and a very comfy blue shag rug. The walls were a calming purple, and there were plants everywhere. She turned in a circle and saw another desk with another gaming chair in the corner with two gaming monitors and what looked like the newest Alien Space Hunters on pause. On the opposite wall were diplomas from 6 colleges, all masters or doctorates.

"Please, sit." Amelia gestured towards the sofa as she grabbed a tablet and a pair of glasses. She sat down in her gaming chair and waited for the red head to follow suit. Ameila looked down and realized that she was still in her robe, but she couldn't be bothered to go upstairs and change. Besides, for some reason she liked how the red head looked at her. Her eyes had something close to lust, admiration, and respect. As the red head took her seat and her hair fell over her face, Amelia quickly made sure her breasts were a bit more on display. A little extra cleavage never hurt anyone.

The red head looked up and brushed her hair out of her face. "Um, I just want to apologize again." Her eyes flicked towards the cleavage on display and she squeezed her legs together just a tiny bit more. Whatever idiot said a little extra cleavage never hurt was a dumbass. Amelia stared her down and then gave a small smile.

"It's ok, really. Honestly, it's kinda nice to know you like my body." The red head nodded with a goofy grin.

"Yes, i think it's very lovel…." She stopped as she saw Amelia smirking. The red head's face turned bright red again as she realized she had been baited.

Ameila laughed and the redhead smiled at her own weakness. "Honestly, I have needed that. I haven't really laughed a lot lately, and it was fun to tease someone." She coughed and tried to look professional. "Anyway, let's start with your name."

The red head looked down and twirled her fingers together. "They tell me my name is K." Amelia nodded and wrote down her name. "Kay huh? Pretty name."

"Yeah…"

Amelia looked up and saw that the red head seemed very distant and annoyed with herself. "Kay, it's ok to need help."

Kay nodded her head and mumbled under her breath. She looked and Amelia saw hurt, pain, loss, and confusion in her eyes. She instantly wanted to go over and comfort the woman, wrapping her in a hug, and making sure whoever hurt her never would again. But she had to be professional, as Kay was clearly in need of help, and Amelia swore she would help anyone, for any reason.

"Kay, why don't you tell me about yourself?"

Kay nodded and sat up a little straighter. "Ok. I've been told that I enlisted right out of high school, and I skyrocketed through the ranks. I reached the rank of Colonel in just 3 years time. Apparently I had a very unique set of skills and the Air Force wanted me."

Amelia blew out a whistle in admiration. "A Colonel in the air force huh? If you don't mind me asking, what group did you work with?"

Kay smiled sadly and nodded. "I was in charge of the L69 Pararescue. I guess I knew I wanted to help people, but being on the front lines wasn't my calling. Saving people from burning buildings, sinking ships, or astronauts in the ocean, that was more my speed. That is until 3 years ago."

Amelia nodded and started writing down notes. PTSD, Trauma, Possible anger and resentment, Depression. "I can see why you are here. Getting back into civilian life can be challenging.

"You don't know the half of it." Kay said bitterly.

Amelia looked up and was shocked to see tears falling down Kay's face. She quickly reached over to her desk and grabbed some tissues. "Here."
Kay smiled and started dabbing her eyes. "Thanks."

Amelia looked at Kay in wonder. This woman seemed totally broken, like just some spiderwebs were keeping her from falling apart. "You said I don't know the half of it. Care to elaborate?"

Kay gave a harsh laugh. "Sure, why not.. She took in a deep breath and pulled out a fidget spinner toy. She spun it a few times and looked at Amelia, gauging if she could trust her. Strangely, Kay saw nothing but respect and love in those eyes. She knew she could trust Amelia with her life.

"3 years ago, on my 25th birthday, we were sent in to save members of the U.N. that were stranded in an autonomous flying ship. The presidents of the US, Russia, China, Easter Island, Bermuda Triangle, and Antarctica were all trapped in 1 of the 3. We were not given any info other than they were under fire from an unknown vessel and were going down.

"We jumped from our planes and landed on this ship. It was easily 450 feet long, maybe 75 feet wide, and shaped like an American football with a flat roof. There was fire everywhere, but strangely it was green and smelled like sulfur. I knew we had limited time and ordered my team to get below by any means possible to save the VIPs.

"I found an open hatch and found bodies everywhere. This was a coordinated attack meant to give the most amount of casualties possible. Men, Women, Children, even Pets, all burned or with bullet wounds.

"I knew I needed to get moving so I moved the images to the back of my mind and just focused on finding survivors. I heard gunfire and my team shouting about hostiles. I slung my gun around so I was aiming down sights. I heard rustling behind a door and kicked it open. I was shocked to find all our VIPs huddled in a group, tears streaming down their faces.

"I shook myself out of my daze and quickly got to work, making sure everyone who could walk was able to start moving through the hallway. I slung the English Prime Minister on my back as his leg was mangled, and escorted our VIPs to the roof. I saw my team firing upon these men in weird green suits. I knew I needed to help them, but the VIPs took priority.

"I unhooked these devices from my belt and hooked each VIP to one. I pressed a button and they all shot up into the sky with a balloon popping out. Our planes would make sure to pick them up. The reverse parachute technology was top of the line. I slung my gun back around and started taking headshots.

"One of the men saw me and smiled a devilish smile. He said something towards me and then threw an odd looking grenade towards me. I dodged with a flip, yet it still managed to fly through the air like it was being controlled, and attached itself to my back. I knew I had only moments.

"I ordered my team to escape, and I ran after the fleeing green men. If I was going down, they were too. I found them on the lowest level of the ship, boarding these weird single-man spaceship pod thingies. I pulled my gun on them and started taking shots. The one that was in charge smiled again at me, snapped his fingers, and said what looked like 'Boom'.

"Suddenly I was wreathed in green fire. I had never known pain like that. It was as if my flesh was being rapidly cooled and burned all at the same time. I could feel frostbite forming on my hands and feet, followed by a hotness like I'd never felt. It was then that I understood what people meant by 'when hell freezes over'. I looked up and saw the man grin at me again and snapped his fingers as he climbed into his pod. The sky lit up with an explosion as the ship took me down to the depths of the ocean.

"When I came to, I was in a hospital bed, with tubes and wires and IVs attached to every place on my body. I saw a man come in with a clipboard and he dropped it in surprise. He yelled, but I couldn't hear what he said. Suddenly, people were in the room, some with guns, others in lab coats, all looking like they had seen a ghost.

"A woman walked in and smiled sadly at me. She tapped her ears, and then shook her head. She ushered everyone out of the room and sat down next to the bed. I could hear a buzzing in my ear, my throat felt like it was swollen shut, and I couldn't move anything besides my head. I looked down expecting to find my body covered in black, but it looked like my body had been scarred years ago.

"The woman placed a device into my ear and suddenly I could hear. 'I must say, Kay, It's shocking to see you alive. We were certain you were dead.' She told me that another team of pararescuers arrived on scene to find the ship on a deserted island. I was just a burned body at that point, and pronounced dead on arrival. Rather than leaving me, they took my body and had me checked by a scientist. He was shocked to find that I still had a heartbeat, I was just in a coma.

"For two years they kept me hooked up, even though I had been announced 'Killed In Action'. Then one day, I awoke. The woman asked me if I knew who I was, and I shook my head. I was told I had amnesia due to massive brain trauma. She was the commanding officer of the base, and made sure I was taken care of. All the best treatments to get my broken spine stabilized so I could walk. I kept telling myself that I could walk, that I could talk, that I could hear, that I could remember who I was.

"6 months ago I was discharged. I am able to walk, I can hear thanks to nanites repairing my eardrums, I can talk, yet I can't remember who I am. I don't have any family to return to, as I don't know who I was before, and the military won't tell me. It's a classified mission, with a classified taskforce, and I shouldn't even be alive."

Kay looked up, expecting to see disgust on Amelia's face. Instead, all she saw was compassion. Amelia stood up, tablet falling to the floor, walked over to the couch, sat down, and wrapped Kay in a big hug. Kay jolted in surprise, but then melted into the touch.

Amelia knew that she was crossing all types of boundaries, especially since she was buck ass nude under the robes, but she just knew she had to comfort Kay. She couldn't explain why, but she felt like she knew Kay, and she wanted to do anything to help her. She held on until Kay gave a sigh of relief and hugged her back. Ameila patted Kay's back, and pulled away. She made sure her robe was still tied and grabbed Kay's hands.

Amelia looked in her eyes, and saw raw hurt and pleading. "Kay, i don't know if i can help you remember. But I will do my damndest to try. From this day forward, you can count me as a friend.

Kay's eyes filled with tears and she rested her head on Amelia's shoulder.

"Thank you."

Meanwhile, across the world:

A man in a green and black, skin tight suit, runs up to his commanding officer sitting in a wingback chair, in a similar outfit. "Sir!"

His commanding officer lifts his head and looks at the man, one eye covered with an eye-patch. "What."

His subordinate hands him a tablet. "You'll never guess who popped back up on our radar."

The commanding officer looked down expecting to see that dumb blue "doctor". Instead, he sat up straighter and tapped his working eye a few times to make sure he saw what he was really seeing.

"Are you positive?" He directed at his subordinate.

The subordinate nodded his head enthusiastically. "Yes sir. Our agent on the ground confirmed it."

The commander nodded his head. "Tell no-one of this. I need to call my sister. And I'll call for a meeting with our queen."

The subordinate bowed and walked away with a smile on his lips. It seemed it was time to strike fear into the hearts of the world once again.

L69 is just a fun way to say Lesbian 69. From what I can gather, most teams have a letter or two, followed by a series of numbers.
