Hello everyone and welcome to my new story; this is going to be a Sasuke fic so please if you do not like it, please don't shit on it. I'm going to be taking some liberties with this story so it will not be a copy and paste of Naruto and also, I'm going to be changing some ages of some characters just Fyi and with nothing else let's begin.

Sasuke's disciple: Chapter 1

Sasuke Uchiha was walking through the village aimlessly; he had just gotten his payback on Naruto for tying him up and apparently impersonating him for some reason. He also passed that Sakura girl who was his teammate along with Naruto; he did not like her at all, she was a loud annoying fangirl just like the majority of the other girls in the village.

'God I can still hear her screeching in my head' Sasuke thought 'so annoying how can anyone put up with her' Sasuke thought as he continued along his walk. He was walking by a training ground when he heard the clang of metal; wondering what it was he walked over to investigate what it was.

Hanabi Hyuga was practicing her Kunai throwing at a target that was swinging back and forth; her father for lack of a better term berated her for not getting perfect bullseyes when training back at the Hyuga compound.

'Perfectionist jerk' Hanabi thought as she threw another kunai which missed ' I'm only 9 how the hell does he expect me to master this at such a young age' she thought. She disliked her father; he was a cold and uncaring bastard constantly berating her at the slightest mistake. She was a lot better at taking the abuse than Hinata who constantly cried and gave up; Hanabi and Hinata's relationship was rocky to put it lightly. Hanabi took the title from her sister because she was deemed to weak; Hanabi had grown to dislike her sister as she constantly gave up and never had the guts to stand up for herself. Hanabi was in a sense was all alone; since her mother died, her father being a bastard and her sister being a coward she does not have any positive influences in her life.

As Hanabi throws another Kunai which was way off the mark she started to grow frustrated "why can't I hit the damn target" she said out loud.

"Because you are not using your wrist" a voice came from behind her; as she turned around she saw a dark haired boy with a leaf head band. Sasuke walked closer to the girl until he was standing in front of her "you are using your arm correctly but not your wrist" he said imitating a throwing motion "the power comes from the arm but the accuracy comes from the wrist" he said. He remembered how his traitorous brother Itachi showed him how to properly throw a kunai.

Sasuke then produced his own Kunai "watch" he said as he threw the kunai in a swift motion hitting the target dead in the center like it was nothing. Hanabi was speechless as she had never seen such a perfect throw; Sasuke then took out another Kunai and handed it to her "now you try; remember use your wrist" he said.

Hanabi focused on the target and took in a deep breath and threw the kunai; the kunai hit a little off center but was much closer than before "darn" she said. Sasuke 'hmph'd" and walked over to the target retrieving both his kunai and walked back to the girl.

"Keep on practicing" Sasuke said "you keep practicing and you'll master it eventually" Sasuke said as he began to walk off.

"Wait" the girl said stopping Sasuke ; she bowed and spoke"my name is Hanabi Hyuga; heiress to the Hyuga clan and you are" she asked. Sasuke looked at the younger girl and spoke.

"I'm Sasuke Uchiha; the last of the Uchiha clan" Sasuke said; Hanabi now standing straight spoke up.

"I thank you for your advice, Sasuke-senpai" Hanabi said formally "I hope our paths cross again sometime in the future" she said.

Sasuke in a rare moment cracked a small smirk and let out a small chuckle "tell you what" Sasuke began "if you can hit a bullseye when I come back to this spot 3 days from now, I'll teach you a technique" Sasuke said which made Hanabi's eyes widen.

"I would appreciate that very much Sasuke-senpai" Hanabi said with another bow; as she got back up Sasuke appeared in front of her and poked her fore head with 2 fingers making the girl stumble back and rub the red mark on her forehead.

"Call me Sasuke; ok Hanabi" Sasuke said and Hanabi nodded.

"Poking someone is very rude" she said with a huff.

"See you later Hanabi" Sasuke said as he walked away and Hanabi began to practice throwing her kunai once again 'Sasuke-senpai; heh never thought I'd be called that' Sasuke thought 'well at least she is not annoying' he thought as he continued back to the academy to meet his new sensei.

Unknown to Sasuke his new sensei Kakashi watched the whole interaction 'huh looks like the introvert Uchiha has finally made a friend; and with a Hyuga of all people' Kakashi thought as he knew about the Uchiha/Hyuga rivalry that only ended when Itachi slaughtered the Uchiha clan. 'Well, I don't see any harm in it; but I better keep my mouth shut incase of a political fire storm' he thought as he disappeared in a swirl of leaves.

3 days later

Hanabi threw 3 kunai at the same time hitting the bullseye "dead on target" Hanabi said as she turned and looked at a mildly impressed Sasuke.

"Very good Hanabi" Sasuke said looking at his new pupil "now I will teach you that technique I promised you" he said as Hanabi smiled at that "follow me" Sasuke said as he began to lead Hanabi to a different area.

Upon reaching a lake Hanabi became slightly depressed which caught Sasuke's attention "what's your problem" Sasuke asked as Hanabi looked at him.

"I already know the walk on water technique" she said which made Sasuke look at her confused.

"Walk on water; your kidding right" Sasuke asked skaptically; he then saw Hanabi walk to the lake and step on the water. She walked a few steps and turned around and looked at Sasuke "how the hell are you doing that" Sasuke asked to which Hanabi looked surprised.

"You just push chakra through your feet to stay above the water" Hanabi said like it was the simplest thing in the world; Sasuke got a tick mark on his head at the answer and Hanabi spoke again "do you want me to teach you" she offered.

Sasuke fighting down his arrogance and pride spoke "yes…please" he said trying not to burst out yelling.

Hanabi smiled and explained the technique to Sasuke who nodded; Sasuke then focused his chakra to his feet and began to walk in the water. He sunk down to his ankles to which Hanabi spoke "try putting a little more chakra into it" she said; Sasuke nodded and put a little more chakra into his feet and began to walk on the water.

"Ok I think I got it" Sasuke said before losing his focus and sinking into the waist deep water "damn it; this water is cold" he shouted before getting out of the water. Hanabi was laughing at Sasuke's misfortune; Sasuke now blushing in embarrassment got out of the water and back to shore.

Hanabi then followed after him and stood next to him "so what technique were you going to teach me" she asked and Sasuke composed himself.

"Watch" he said as he moved to the edge of the lake; he quickly went through hand signs and puffed his chest 'fire style: fireball jutsu' Sasuke then blew out a giant fireball which made Hanabi look away due to the heat and brightness. When it was done the top of the lake was steaming due to the intense heat it just felt "now you try" Sasuke said.

Hanabi took in a deep breath and walked to the edge of the lake and closed her eyes; she then opened them and went through the hand signs 'fire style: fire ball jutsu' Hanabi took a deep breath and blew out a ping pong ball size fireball that traveled 3 feet before dying out. Hanabi looked at the pathetic fire jutsu she just created die out and was about to curse herself for not getting it right; she then heard Sasuke whistle and she turned to him.

"Not bad for your first try" Sasuke said which made Hanabi go wide eyed "when I tired to do one my first time I only blew out sparks; good job" he said before looking back at Hanabi who had a small stream of tears in her eyes. "What's wrong" Sasuke said with actual concern as Hanabi began to rub the tears from her eyes.

"I-I-I never was told something like that" Hanabi said still wiping away her tears "my father would've just told me I was a failure like my sister and berate me; I never had someone tell me 'good job' before" she said.

Sasuke was taken aback by this and had a flash back of his father telling him how he was nothing like his prodigy of a brother Itachi; he then remembered how his father complemented his fireball and how it made him feel when his father said 'that's my boy'. Sasuke then refocused on the sniffling girl and walked up to her and put his hand on her shoulder.

Hanabi looked up at Sasuke who was looking at her with a sympathetic look "my father was also a uncaring man to me" Sasuke said surprising Hanabi "I do not blame you for feeling like this" he said making Hanabi nod at his words. Sasuke then let go of her shoulder and then spoke up "now lets get back to it; try again" Sasuke said. Hanabi then turned around toward the lake and went through hand signs once more for the fireball technique.

Later that evening

Hanabi returned to the Hyuga compound and was once more not greeted by anyone; her father never talked to her unless it was about her studied or her training. Hanabi went to the bath and washed up wiping away the soot marks from her face from her use of the fire jutsu she was trying to master; when she was done she began to walk to the dining area to eat a quick dinner before going to bed. She then saw her father walking towards her; she bowed and conveyed her presence "good evening father" Hanabi said.

Her father Hiashi merely walked by her ignoring her greeting; Hanabi clenched her fists and was about to speak once again but stopped. 'Fine you don't want anything to do with me; very well' she thought turning around and left to get something to eat.

Hanabi now changed into her pajamas was about to go to sleep; she turned off the lights and climbed into bed. As she looked up at the ceiling she remembered Sasuke praising her on her attempt on the fire ball Jutsu; she then closed her eyes and turned on to her side still thinking about her new training partner and friend. 'Friend huh' Hanabi thought 'I wonder if Sasuke sees me as a friend or not' she wondered as she drifted off to sleep.

With Sasuke

Sasuke was once again having another nightmare about the night of the Uchiha massacre; he saw every bloody detail. However, there was something new to this nightmare.

"Poor little Sasuke" Itachi said as he stood over a cowering Sasuke "unable to save mother and father and now unable to save your little friend" he said as he held a ninjato to Hanabi's throat.

"Sasuke-senpai; help me please" Hanabi begged Sasuke as he tried to move but couldn't.

"Itachi stop she has nothing to do with anything" Sasuke yelled which didn't even phase Itachi. Itachi then raised up his sword and swung it down at the crying Hanabi 'No, No-'

"NO!" Sasuke yelled as he sat up in his bed in a cold sweat; he looked around to see he was in his room. 'Another damn nightmare' Sasuke thought until he remembered 'why was Hanabi there' Sasuke pondered. Sasuke then looked at his hand and realized something; him and Hanabi were friends.

Hanabi was the first person to want to be with him as a friend a mentor; she was not some fangirl wanting a date, she wasn't some annoying twerp like Naruto always pestering him, she was a friend. A true honest friend.

Sasuke then got up and went to the restroom to wash his face and looked at his reflection in the mirror with determination 'I will not let that happen' Sasuke thought with conviction 'I will not let anything happen to Hanabi; I swear' Sasuke thought. He then went back to bed and closed his eyes falling back to sleep for another day of D rank missions with his team and training with Hanabi.

Ok the first chapter is done; I'm making this fic because I think it would be interesting for Sasuke to have bonds with someone who is a lot like him. Both him and Hanabi are children of a overbearing father, have no friends, have older siblings (Itachi over shadowing Sasuke and Hanabi over Shadowing Hinata) and frankly I think it would be interesting to see 2 lonely people come together to find comfort and friendship in each other.
