I thought this while half asleep and slightly drunk

"Pyrrha you can't! You'll die t-" Jaune was suddenly silenced as Pyrrha kissed him. She couldn't take it anymore. She wanted to run with Jaune but knew if she did Cinder would just leave beacon in ruins and thousands dead. Pyrrha knew she would probably die here but even on the off chance she could stop Cinder she would take it. Too many have died because she couldn't accept the position of maiden sooner. No more. She would give it her all to end this and stop Cinder

She would make sure Miss Amber's and Headmaster Ozpin's sacrifices wouldn't be in vain

Quickly she ran up onto the ruins of the elevator and began to channel her semblance through the metallic rubble. It took a moment to take hold but when it did she shot up like a bullet. The platform screeching as sparks came from the walls of the elevator shaft. Pyrrha looked up for a moment to make sure she wouldn't hit the ceiling of the shaft but as she looked up she was met with the open hole through which she could only look up at and into the dark sky above her. The headmasters office was no more and she would fight in the ruins of what was left of the Emerald Tower

Pyrrha grit her teeth as she braced herself, making her platform slow down and getting Akuo ready for combat. Once the platform stopped the pit in her stomach only got bigger as she realized something from looking around. She was hopelessly outmatched. Instead of the ruined office she was met with a relatively open area. Did Cinder do all this?!

How screwed was Pyrrha?

"Ah so the champion did come here. How cute~" Cinder purred as she saw Pyrrha come up and face her. She seemed so very calm and happy at the same time. Like she knew this all was gonna happen and that everything went according to her sick and twisted plans

"I've come to beat you, Cinder!" Pyrrha yelled and got into a stance but instead of rushing Cinder she began to throw big pieces at metal at the woman to try and equal their aura before the real fight began. To her dismay however Cinder just lifted her hand up and with a wave of her hand a wave of fire intercepted the metal and melted it. Before shock could set in Cinder was already on Pyrrha, running up to her and locking blades

"You've come to die, champion" Cinder said as she disengaged and shot more fire to which Pyrrha brought up more metal to block the flames but draining a fair bit of her aura in the process. This was how this fight went if you could even call it a fight. Pyrrha would try to attack with metal and Akuo but Cinder would just counter it and punish her if she let Cinder get close

Pyrrha knew she would break before Cinder and break she did when an arrow pierced through her knee, signalling her aura finally hitting 0 and the end of this fight and soon the end of her life. Pyrrha could only scream in pain as she fell to the ground. This was the first time she felt this kind of pain. This burning sensation that broke her resolve to even try to move her leg

"So little champion. Had enough?" Cinder began to slowly walk towards Pyrrha, swaying her hips while the true omen of the entire Grimm incursion perched behind her. A massive Grimm Wyvern. Pyrrha now really felt the hopelessness of her situation. She was never gonna stop the killing while both Cinder and the Wyvern were alive and if she couldn't kill Cinder she would never kill the beast

Strangely however as Cinder stood over Pyrrha a question appeared in her mind. She just needed to ask that before she was killed. Maybe it would give peace of mind maybe it would just calm her down. Whatever it was she just needed to ask it

"Do you believe in destiny?"

"No. I do not. Goodbye Pyrrha Nikos"

With those words Pyrrha could feel the burning sensation in her chest, or was it the newly embedded arrow in her. She wanted to pull it out but her whole body was suddenly filled with the strangest sensation. Like she was at peace and that she just needed a long nap. That she just needed to close her eyes and that she needed to lay down. That she needed to ignore Ruby's screams of sadness and the feeling

And then Pyrrha was nothing more than dust in the wind. The last thing she thought she heard was Ruby screaming. She hoped she would survive

"What an unfortunate end" Someone said to Pyrrha's right. She was pretty confused by this since she should be dead. Right? Slowly she opened her door and looked at the person. He looked like a young boy. A little like what she expected of a younger Jaune

"I wouldn't say unfortunate. She knew Cinder had some Ozma's power and she sent the only person who was close to her and able to help away. It's more fitting to call it a foolish end" A voice came from the other side of Pyrrha. Quickly she turned to looked and found a woman wearing a sleeveless tuxedo. She could be best described as a older and more jaded Ruby

"Well what are we supposed to do with her now? I'll be honest I quite liked her" The boy said and turned to Pyrrha. His face filled with sorrow, tears even forming in his eyes. Slowly Pyrrha reach forward and wiped the tears away. The boy was surprised for a moment but smiled "Maybe we could reincarnate h-"

"No. I know you will want to give her a new chance in our experiment but I will fight you on it. Reincarnating her will just prolong the suffering of the people there and taint the experiment more" The woman said sternly as she walked closer to Pyrrha. Looking her up and down

"What do you propose we do to her then? She deserves some kind of reward for her life of kindness and strength" The boy said. A hint of desperation in his voice. Seemed he really didn't want to let her just pass on

"Well I have a little side experiment. Just to see if I could make something myself. It's peaceful….. perfect. I can send her there but I will remove a lot of her residual aura and magic" The woman said. Her hands began to glow purple to get ready to send her to this other experiment

"Side experiment?" The boy muttered but shook his head and looked at the woman again "if you are sure it's peaceful then do it but we will talk about this side experiment later!" The boy tried to be assertive but it only resulted in him pouting cutely. Pyrrha couldn't help but chuckle softly even if she was slightly scared what they meant by sending her to the 'side experiment'

"Well dear brother. Your champion will be in good hands. Goodbye, Pyrrha Nikos. I hope we won't see each other for a long time" The woman said and placed her hands on Pyrrha's head. Suddenly she felt like she was fading again but this time she felt strangely at peace

Pyrrha felt like death. She probably had a fever but she couldn't remember it ever being this bad. She could faintly heard voices and feel a hand placing something on her forehead. Slowly she opened her eyes and noticed a woman standing over her

The most striking features of the woman were her pig tails and pony tail that just reached under her chin. It strangely reminded her of Ren. He would probably look great with that

"Oi! She's waking up! Midori get me a new towel and a glass of water" The pigtail woman yelled to someone standing out of Pyrrha's line of sight who quickly walked away "Now how does a youngster like you appear in Summerstone Castle? None of us have found any record of anyone who looks like you on any boat or plane and nothing on family here"

"Give the kid a break Eva. We can ask questions once she isn't sick anymore" A man spoke up to her side. He walked up to get in Pyrrha's line of sight so she could get a good view of him

He was tall and his face was pretty neutral. He was bald but had a moustache that flowed into his beard. Slowly he pulled a to sit in next to Pyrrha's bed "So kid. Can you tell us your name?"

"P-Pyrrha. Pyrrha Nikos" She managed to say

"Nice name kid. You can call me Matt. If someone hasn't said it before let me say it now. Welcome to Wuhu Island"

Dunno if I will keep this as a One-Shot
