1Okami and the Sun Guardian
(Before we begin, I would just like to state any character that isn't my OC are property of Capcom. Any music that is brought up in this story all belong to their rightful owners. So, give them respect for giving the world such great characters and music. Anyways with that aside I just want to say whenever you see this = = its means to pull up the music its showing so that the moment fits and that this story is a WIP so expect things to change because this is my first time writing something like this and that this story is going to be close to the game as it can be so expect the chapters to come out slowly since I am also redoing a rerun through the game to get all the texts and such. Anyways with that out of the way on with the story)
Prologue
Into the Unknown world

No one's POV
We begin our story with a human who goes by the name Noah, looks like he's in his early 20s which is true, a bit of a dark skinned with black hair standing at a good 5' 7" wearing some casual clothes you find on a chilly day which is perfect since the news reported of a storm coming. We see him walking down back to his apartment room holding a copy of Okami HD for his PlayStation 4 since he moved away from his parents a couple years back, but the reason was unknown and will tell no one since nobody really talks to him. "Man, I got this game for really cheap makes me wonder why people would return this copy. But hey I'm not complaining." he said as he climbed the stairs to his place. But what he didn't know is that this is the day that his life will be changed forever.
Yes, he bought a copy of a very popular game called Okami HD but strangely when he bought the game the person at the front desk of the game store said that people have been returning that copy of the game the next day because of stuff like instant headaches and hallucinations as if the disc was cursed but he didn't believe any of that, so he bought the game anyways and seeing as how it getting late he decided to order pizza "Alright let's see what this game is all about" inserting the game in his gaming console before grabbing a controller and plopping on the couch as the prologue cutscene of the game starts playing after being told that the food will be on its way soon (Pause the music)
"Long, long ago... A tiny hamlet known as Kamiki lay nestled in a grove of proud and beautiful cherry blossoms. Each and every tree around the quiet burg was honored as a god. However, the village was not without its dark secrets. To satiate the appetite of Orochi, a fearsome cave dwelling beast, a young maiden was offered as a sacrifice at the annual festival. With a body like a mountain and 8 heads mounted on necks the size of tree trunks, its blood red eyes alone were said to curse anyone who gazed into them. No one dared disobey the horrific beast." the finished as the camera moved to the left as if it was showing more artwork on the scroll "When the night of sacrifice drew near... A mysterious white wolf appeared outside the village. This wolf, its coat as brilliant as snow, was dubbed Shiranui. The wolf kept a watch eye on anyone who ventured outside the village, and made a habit of patrolling the streets at night. People assumed the wolf to be a familiar of Orochi. One villager took it upon himself to face the fearsome Shiranui. The warrior Nagi attempted many times to challenge the wolf. But his attempts were thwarted by Shiranui's swift movements. Before long, the night of the accursed festival had arrived. A white plumed arrow heralded the coming sacrifice. Piercing the sky, the arrow sunk its shaft squarely into the home of Nami, the village's most beautiful maiden. Nagi, harboring a secret love for Nami, was enraged by this sign. Determined to put an end to Orochi once and for all, Nagi traveled to the beast's cave in place of his beloved." The camera moved once again showing another piece of art "The Moon Cave, a place as dark as evil itself, served as Orochi's home. As Nagi stood bravely before the entrance... A beast appeared, eyes glowing crimson upon 8 thrashing necks. Orochi stood tall before him, anxious for another sacrifice. Nagi leapt with incredible grace, swinging his blade valiantly. On and on he sliced, well into the moonless night... But Orochi's hide was like steel. The blade left nary a scratch." The camera moves again "At long last, Nagi, his energy spent from the intense battle, dropped to his knees, fatigued and gasping for breath. He knew he was staring death in the face. It was then that the wolf appeared. As if to protect Nagi, it stood its ground before Orochi. In the darkness of the cave, the wolf's coat shone brilliantly. Alas, it was Shiranui, the wolf that dwelled outside the village. Baring its fearsome claws, Shiranui leapt toward Orochi. Orochi reared its terrifying heads, readying its fangs for battle. The two beasts struggled wildly, thrashing in the darkness." the camera moves ONCE AGAIN as Noah was watching this getting some intrigued by this with each second "Mysterious and terrifying, the spectacle continued. Shiranui summoned gusts of divine wind to counter Orochi's flames. As Orochi closed in on Shiranui, sharpened claws glistening... a gigantic tree suddenly sprouted forth, shielding the wolf. Shiranui fought gallantly to gain the upper hand. However... Orochi, protected by a mystical power, was not easily bested. Shiranui, covered in gashes, majestic coat dyed crimson, stood exhausted before the mighty Orochi." camera moves to the left once again "Orochi saw a chance to strike what would be the final blow. But Shiranui refused to give in. With its last ounce of strength, the majestic wolf gazed heavenward and unleashed a mighty howl. Suddenly, the black clouds overhead dissipated. The light from above glinted off Nagi's sword as a beacon of hope." camera moves yet again "Guided by his sword, Nagi, who had been taking shelter in the shadows, stood proudly to face his adversary. Channeling all his strength into his scarred and battered arms, he leapt ferociously toward Orochi, his sword poised high. The golden sword dances in his hands like a puppet on a string. One by one, Orochi's fearsome heads separated from their owner." you should know by now "Orochi's broken body collapsed in a lake of its own blood. In that instant, the curse that plagued the villagers was lifted. As the battle subsided, the sun shone once again in the sky. Shiranui had succumbed to Orochi's poison and struggled to breathe. Nagi scooped the beast into his arms and returned to Kamiki." camera moved over for hopefully the last time "When they reached the village, Shiranui was no longer moving. The village elder gently stroked the wolf's head. In response, Shiranui let out a hoarse and pitiful bark... Then closed its eyes and drifted off as if into slumber." now the camera does "Peace had at last returned to Kamiki Village. In honor of Shiranui's heroic exploits, the villagers erected a shrine and placed a statue of the wolf within it. Nagi's sword was christened "Tsukuyomi" and placed inside the Moon Cave. The villagers all looked forward to an age of endless peace..." Images start changing from the paintings to the actual game "However, this is not the end of the story... There is more to this tale than most people know. 100 years had passed since Nagi and Shiranui's heroic exploits. It happened so quickly that no one in the village even took notice."
As Noah kept watching he was interrupted by a knock at the door "Wow my food is here already? I should get it." he said as he got up not noticing the small glitches that were popping up on his TV as the cutscene was playing on its own with it starting to rain outside.
-In the Moon Cave-
A mysterious man shrouded in black figured walked into the Moon Cave where the battle of legends that took place 100 years ago filled with disbelief about the legend and curiosity gazing upon the legendary sword that sat underneath a giant old bell "Is this the legendary sword? Is this the Tsukuyomi, the sword that banished the dreaded Orochi?" the black figure thought it over before shaking his head and puts his hands on the sword not buying the legend one bit "No... it couldn't be. It's just a legend... Nothing but a fairy tale!" he shouted as he pulled the sword from its place in return seeing 8 pairs of eyes staring at him.

The young lad returned from the front door with pizza in hand only to see what was going on with his TV glitching out with weird black smoke leaking "Hey what the heck is going on!?" he said as he tried doing stuff to turn off the TV and gaming system off after quickly setting the food down but to no prevail but continues to try and do something while the cutscene was still playing as the glitches and smoke along with the storm started getting worse.
-Back to the Moon Cave-
The mysterious man dropped the sword upon seeing the shadowy figures seeing some purple smoke spewing from the place where the sword once was with everything shaking around as he runs for it only to trip and meet face to face with one of the shadowy figures.
"O, he who seeks power... He who has broken my bonds... Speaks the words. "I wish darkness unto the world." Utter that prayer unto me, and unleash my power." the shadowy head said to him in a dark and sinister voice.
But before the shadow could get a response the man frighten from the sight of this horrifying creature quickly gets back up and runs away once more while hearing a roar coming from all 8 heads as darkness starts erupting from them skyrocketing upwards into the sky.
-Back to Noah once again-
He continued to try turning off the game or the TV but still to no prevail but before he could do anything else he was blasted away from the TV shocked to see the TV glitching out even more with the whole room shaking caused by a mighty room as he covers his eyes before it suddenly calmed down, as he looks around seeing the TV screen off he lets out a sigh seeing that everything was alright even though the room was still a mess (stop the music for now) "Phew glad nothing bad happened here I was thinking that stuff was re.." (Now play it again) but before he could finish that sentence a giant wave of darkness flew out of the TV like it was a strong gust of wind but before he could do anything he saw a several black tendrils like things fly out of the TV flying at high speed towards him before wrapping themselves around him tightly and started pulling him in towards the TV as nothing but smoke was coming out of it.
"WHAT THE HECK, LET GO OF ME!" the boy screamed as he tried desperately to get from what this thing but failing, he even tried grabbing any nearby furniture in hopes of pulling himself away, but it was ultimately yanked away as he was pulled into the TV with a bright light as everything went silence once more before the television crumbled into pieces and storm subsiding.
