Harry Potter and All the Skywalker chicks
A/N- Whilst I was away being busy, ill and whatever else I was going through, I came up with a story about Harry Potter, time displaced individuals and conspiracies. This is the opening chapter of that story. Some inspiration was taken from What's a Gungan by Mjimeyg and I highly recommend reading that as I think it's really good but this will be it's own thing. The Ending and certain plot points have already been planned out.
Anyway I hope you will enjoy this story as I update it.
Chapter One
Harry
Harry had not been having a good time for the last year or two. After the start of his fourth year, Harry had been entered into the Triwizard Tournament without his knowledge or consent. The vast majority of the students hated him because of their belief that Harry had cheated his way into the tournament and Harry's respect for the wizarding world took a hard hit in the days and weeks after his forced participation in that blasted tournament. Harry came to the realisation, which he should've realised a lot earlier, was that the wizarding world had a fundamental lack of logical thinking. They forced him to participate in three tasks that could've resulted in his death at any point. The last task in particular was traumatic for Harry as it resulted in the death of Cedric Diggory and the resurrection of Voldemort. That's when his year from hell began.
In the summer after his fourth year, Harry and his cousin Dudley were attacked by a pair of dementors. Harry almost initially considered Voldemort the prime suspect for the attack but the truth came out later in the year. Harry was tried for breaking a number of statutes, one of which was the statute of secrecy and another (and the main one) being the law regarding underage magic. He was found not guilty but it set the scene for the year he'd had.
The truth about the return of Voldemort was suppressed and Voldemort had been attacking him through his lightning bolt scar, sending him visions. The Minister of Magic's Senior Undersecretary, Delores Umbridge, had been sent to Hogwarts to seize control of the school and continue suppressing the truth. It seemed like something out of the book, 1984 by George Orwell, an unhappy dystopia. Prior to his current situation, in her arrogance, Umbridge revealed that most of the events since the summer had been initiated by her, having sent the Dementors to attack Harry in an attempt to silence him. The last Harry saw her, she was hauled away by the Centaurs of the Forbidden Forest.
Later, after having dealt with Umbridge, Harry and his friends Hermione, Ginny, Luna, Ron and Neville went to the Ministry of Magic, into the depths of the Department of Mysteries, in an effort to rescue his Godfather, Sirius Black. It turned out that they had been lured into a trap. Sirius had not been there and Voldemort had wanted Harry to get a prophecy pertaining to the two of them for him, sending his Death Eaters to ensure that the prophecy was retrieved quickly and quietly. The ensuing battle in the mysterious depths of the Ministry of Magic ended with all of his friends becoming injured in some way. Even worse, after turning up with other members of the Order of the Phoenix, Sirius was hit by a stunning spell cast by his cousin, Bellatrix, and propelled through the Veil. Harry, horrified by the loss of his Godfather, followed him in there so he could try and bring him back.
This lead to Harry's current predicament. He found himself falling from a great height. He fell through the air with nothing to slow his descent and he found himself screaming out all sorts of profanity as he believed that he was going to die. The young wizard got ever closer to the ground and soon found himself falling into a swamp. His clothing became soaked and muddy as a result of his landing. He quickly cleaned his clothes, waving his wand and the mud and the unclean water instantly vanished.
"I don't think that I'm anywhere in Britain." Harry said to himself as he scanned his surroundings. As he scanned his surroundings, he found himself suddenly face to face with a trio of people, one of whom seemed to be an humanoid amphibian which Harry had no reference for at all despite the near library amount of information he'd picked up from Hermione. "You don't know a Sirius Black, do you?" Harry asked them. He got nothing but blank or confused stares in return.
"Who are you? What are you?" the older, bearded man asked as though he was trying to figure out a puzzle.
"Err, my name is Harry and what do you mean by 'what am I'?" Harry replied in confusion.
"I can clearly see you and yet I cannot sense you in the force; Why?" the older bearded man explained although he was absolutely baffled by the teen boy standing before him.
"What's the force?" Harry asked the older man, but as the younger man in front of Harry was about to explain, Harry shook his head and decided that there were more important questions to ask, "Oh never mind that for now, can one of you tell me where I am?"
"How do you not-?" the younger man began to ask Harry before he was interrupted by the older bearded man.
"We're on our way to the Gungan city on the planet of Naboo. We need Gungan assistance with getting to the capital city of Theed."
"Bugger! I'm definitely a long way from home." Harry said almost despondently as he realised that it might be a long time before he'd be able to return home.
Padmé
Padmé stared out of the Palace as her planet was invaded by the Trade Federation. The Jedi negotiators for the Supreme Chancellor had not been seen or heard from and a massive column of battle droids and armoured hover tanks was pouring through the city. She feared about what would happen to her people.
To her sides, her Handmaidens waited for their queen's instructions. Thanks to the work of Captain Panaka, Padmé and her Handmaidens were able to copy each other to a very large degree. With nothing but a slight nod, Padmé and the Handmaidens commenced a pre-arranged plan to protect her life from any potential assassins. Sabé was chosen to be the decoy tasked with keeping Padmé safe and out of danger. Padmé and Sabé exchanged their clothing then the other Handmaidens sat the pair down, applying makeup to Sabé and removed makeup from Padmé's face. In other words, in the small amount of time they had before they were taken prisoner, Sabé became Padmé's phantom. Sabé would draw the attention of the Trade Federation while Padmé, with the assistance of Captain Panaka, would be commanding from behind the scenes.
A few minutes after they'd finished exchanging their identities, Padmé, Sabé and the other Handmaidens along with Captain Panaka, senior government officials were taken prisoner by battle droids belonging to the Trade Federation. They were then brought before Nute Gunray, Viceroy of the Trade Federation, who pressured them to sign a treaty that had already been drawn up. Sabé, acting as proxy for Padmé, defiantly yet calmly told the slimy Neimoidian that the Trade Federation treaty would not be signed. With the assurance of his Sith Benefactor, Nute Gunray ordered that the group be taken away, confident that the treaty that the Trade Federation had drawn up would be signed eventually.
They probably didn't expect there to be two lots of drama to unfold over the coming days, weeks and months. Of course, they knew that there would be a great amount of drama when invasions. What they didn't expect was drama that would be directly related to Padmé, their queen, herself and that drama would come in the form of several strangers.
Leia
Her home planet was destroyed. That was the first thought running through her head. Her family, many of her friends, innocent people; all of them dead and all because Grand Moff Tarkin wanted to use the planet as a demonstration of the Death Star's power. She was feeling several emotions, some of them at the same time and some were even contradictory. Anger, pain, sadness, despair, relief, satisfaction, contentment and fear all ran through her as she thought about the consequences of what Tarkin had done. The entire galaxy would finally know that the Empire was a tyrannical regime that would be more than happy to destroy entire civilizations if they didn't march in step with the Emperor's will.
Yet she was unable to witness those consequences. She was stuck in a cell that was as black as the heart of the Empire. She'd been told in no uncertain terms that the Imperial senate had been dissolved and disbanded and she guessed that Tarkin had sent a force of soldiers to investigate Dantooine based on information she provided. She was very much aware that her time was very much running out as she suspected that her execution had been ordered.
Still... Something happened that she did not expect. In the middle of her black cell, a mysterious portal formed out of thin air. Almost as if it was speaking to her inside her head, Leia felt drawn to the portal and unconsciously began walking towards it. Like the pull of an irresistible magnet, she walked up to the portal until she was touching it. When she touched it, she subconsciously shut her eyes and she was whisked away from her lonely cell.
She opened her eyes when she found herself lying down on a stony surface. She sat up to find herself in the middle of a deserted alleyway. "What the sithspit happened?" Leia asked herself. She got up off the ground and began to investigate her surroundings. After looking at the architecture of the buildings around her, she began thinking out loud, "Okay, I'm on Naboo but, even though it's under the rule of the Empire, it doesn't tell me where everyone is. I'll head to Theed palace and see if I can find any answers there." She wandered through the paths until she found herself near the main street leading to the palace. The sight in front of her surprised her.
Battle droids, hundreds, if not thousands, of them, were leading the civilian population to unknown destinations. "Why are the Empire using battle droids? Surely they have enough stormtroopers, don't they?" She moved closer to the palace, making sure that she was not in the line of sight of the roaming battle droid patrols. When she got close to the entrance of the palace, she hid behind some foliage as the sound of approaching footsteps, both organic and mechanical, drew closer. Whilst anxiously hiding, she glanced back at the main street and saw the types of vehicles the battle droids were using and the occasional flight of Vulture droids, flying in parade formation. 'Something's not adding up here.' She thought to herself, 'This isn't the Empire's usual occupation method. Using droids instead of Stormtroopers isn't something that the Empire would ever authorise.' Before she could dwell on her thoughts too long, she found, despite her view being obscured by the foliage, that the entirety of the Naboo royal court, including the queen, was being escorted away.
She decided that it might be better to follow them from a discrete distance and figure out how to approach them. She continued to follow them for several minutes until she was forced to stop by a pair of battle droids coloured in red walking in her direction from directly in front of her. Using all of her strength, she managed to free a metal spike from a metal garden face and waited for the two patrolling droids to pass by her. When the two droids passed by her, she ambushed them, destroying their processors using the spike melee weapon in her hand, piercing the outer layer of the droids' bodies. When she was sure that her actions had not been noticed, she dragged, with some effort, the fallen droids' bodies out of the way and then picked up both blasters before continuing to follow the Naboo royal court and the battle droids escorting them.
As the group turned a corner, Leia was able to see the face of Naboo's queen. Her face drained of all blood when she realised who the queen was and then the penny dropped for her. "The Empire isn't using battle droids, they're not anywhere close to being here. I've gone back in time! I've gone back to the Trade Federation invasion of Naboo!" Leia said to herself in a shocked whisper.
Despite her shock, Leia continued to follow the Naboo royal court and the escorting battle droids as they proceeded to move through the city.
Jaina
Jaina Solo was worried. She'd gone to bed the previous night, having spent time with her family on Coruscant after spending many weeks and months of training to be a Jedi with her Uncle Luke on Yavin 4. Now, she found herself lying in someone's garden, with trees blocking the sun.
"I've never heard of something like this happen before. Could someone have taken me and drugged me so they could transport me here?" Jaina muttered to herself. She got herself off the ground and found her lightsabre lying a few feet away. She picked it up and kept it in her hand before muttering to herself again, "If I'd been kidnapped, then why did whoever kidnapped me let me have my lightsabre? More importantly, why just leave me somewhere I could easily leave at any point? No, something else is going on here. There were rumours of something brewing in the Outer Rim but I don't think it's that." Having ruled out everything that she believed was a possibility, she decided to investigate the nearby area to see what she could find out.
The first conclusion she reached was that she was on Naboo as she looked at the structures around her. She brushed her dark brown hair out of her face as the breeze pushed some of it into her face. As she walked through the city, she noticed that the city seemed deserted. The reason why became clear a few moments later when a large squad of battle droids walked down a large street accompanied by a group of civilians with their arms behind their heads. Jaina muttered loudly, "Have I come to the Trade Federation invasion of Naboo or something?", feeling like she had gone insane or was having a dream or nightmare.
An unknown voice spoke behind her, "And I thought I was the only one having those thoughts."
Jaina turned to face the stranger, "Who are you?" The stranger had brown hair and hazel eyes, and she wore a white wrap dress.
"My name is Rey and I'm getting the impression that we're stuck in the same predicament." The now identified Rey replied as she introduced herself.
Rey
Rey had been getting ready to go on a pilgrimage to Tatooine. She was currently carrying three Lightsabres but she'd been planning to bury the two lightsabres that had belonged to her masters. Just days before, she'd fought against her own grandfather and won before dying and being resurrected. Despite the immense feeling of loss she was feeling, she was looking forward to the future.
She was not expecting to see a portal to appear in her room on Ajan Kloss. She used her force abilities to try and determine whether the portal posed a threat but her force abilities were unable to determine what, if any, threat that it posed. Hesitantly, she reached an arm out and stretched that arm's hand out, the other hand ready to wield any of the lightsabres in her possession should there be a threat. As soon as her hand was within a few centimetres of the portal, Rey found herself sucked into the portal as if she was an object being pulled by a ultra high powered magnet.
She wasn't sure how she fell unconscious or even if she fell unconscious but when she opened her eyes, she knew that she wasn't where she'd been. Rey didn't recognise the planet she was on, only that it was inhabited and the buildings possessed an art like quality to them. Rey, unable to figure out where she was or where to go, thought back to before the end of the war with the First Order and remembered that a Resistance member spoke about the invasion of Naboo during the dying days of the Old Republic and what had happened during Operation Cinder and came to the conclusion that she was on Naboo. However, without any other knowledge of the planet, Rey was reliant on her instincts. Sensing multiple force-sensitive presences on the planet, she moved to find the nearest one to her.
Rey walked through the city and soon encountered a sight she thought was almost extinct; a large squad of battle droids. Rey couldn't believe it. She began to believe that she was having another vision of the past like the ones she had when she first came into contact with Luke's Lightsabre and the dagger used by Ochi to murder her parents. Nevertheless, she pressed on, hoping to figure out what was going on.
Eventually, after evading an increasing number of battle droid patrols, Rey came across a dark brown haired girl, wearing what appeared to be a pair of Jedi tunic trousers and a vest. Rey then saw the lightsabre hilt in her hand and realised that it was indeed another Jedi and she appeared to be talking to herself, "Have I come to the Trade Federation invasion of Naboo or something?"
Rey, despite her own confusion about the situation, she found the sight of someone talking to themselves to be somewhat humorous. She then decided to speak with the unknown Jedi, "And I thought I was the only one having those thoughts."
She seemed to have startled the younger Jedi as she appeared to jump and then the younger Jedi turned towards her, asking her in a confused but demanding voice, "Who are you?"
Rey then properly introduced herself to the younger Jedi, speaking with a tone that radiated calmness, "My name is Rey and I'm getting the impression that we're stuck in the same predicament."
The younger Jedi then introduced herself to Rey, calming down slightly as she did so, "My name's Jaina. We should probably leave here or we might have all those battle droids descend upon us."
Unbeknownst to them, a platoon of battle droids were advancing on their position, having been alerted to a disturbance.
A/N- I hope you have enjoyed this opening chapter and please review.
