"Hm~ hm~ hm~."

Somewhere unknown, the entity known as Eve was walking around jumping up and down for joy. She was so happy that the boredom that had been bothering her was gone, now it was replaced by joy.

She is the Overseer of Life, an entity that oversees all life in the universe and recently she has brought people in certain worlds to make them take a look at their own lives.

The results are very satisfying. She was very satisfied seeing their reactions, seeing how new bonds formed from what they watched made her happy.

"Hm… which one next…?" said Eve wonderingly, she was thinking about which world she would invite into her dimension.

After thinking for a while, Eve made a decision.

"Yup, I decided. I'm going to that world," Eve said brightly. Then a circular and colorful field formed beneath her, the field then covered her whole body and when the field disappeared, Eve was nowhere to be found.

There were only remnants of her voice echoing in the empty room.

Let's see a world where people fight for all the beautiful in the world.

In a place that no one could reach, a dimension filled with blue and purple and floating stones, and in front of the thing called the Cocoon of Finality…

… standing a man and a girl facing each other.

They both have the same characteristics. White skin, blue eyes, and silvery white hair. For the people living in their world, their features clearly indicated that they were a Kaslana.

The man named Kevin Kaslana. He is the ancestor of the Kaslana house who have fought against the Honkai for over 50,000 years. He has short white hair and sharp blue eyes.

Meanwhile, the girl named Kiana Kaslana. A Valkyrie who also fights against Honkai and protects those she loves. Like Kevin, she has long white hair braided into two braids and round blue eyes.

A while ago, they had fought against each other to determine the fate of mankind against Honkai which Kiana and friends won in the end.

And now, right in front of the Cocoon of Finality; they once again face off.

"Is… this is the end?" Kiana asked, breaking the silence.

"Yes, this is the end. You win," Kevin replied calmly, "The remnants of project stigma will also be yours… you will become a true goddess of the earth."

"I'm not interested in this," replied Kiana shaking her head.

"But this is the first step for humanity to 'Beyond the End'."

"Okay, okay. Don't talk about 'God' anymore," said Kiana with a smile, then she summoned a baseball bat in her hand and pointed it at Kevin, "On the contrary, how about we duel using the 'Human' way?"

Seeing the girl, Kevin couldn't help but chuckle before calling out his own baseball bat, "Ha ha, that's interesting."

They stared at each other with smiles, this wasn't a death fight like they had before; rather a battle of honor before the two of them parted for good.

But before they could move, a certain incident made them stop and they were shocked by what they saw.

Not far from where they were, a circular field appeared out of nowhere. The field then widens upwards and then disappears; what replaced it was a girl standing up from where the field had appeared.

The girl has pink hair that reaches down to her feet, wears a short white dress with gold patterns, a short skirt and white stockings. The short dress that she wore extended in the back to cover her hips to her feet but was left open in the front to reveal the skirt and stockings she was wearing.

For a moment, Kevin thought he saw Elysia appear in front of him because of the color of her hair; but he dismissed those thoughts because there were some differences between the girl and Elysia.

The girl in front of him had the same hair color as Elysia but the difference was in the color of her golden eyes and at the ends of her hair, the girl's tips had various mixed colors with glistening white spots, Kevin was sure that it was a view of the universe.

Kevin and Kiana looked at the girl warily because of her unusual appearance.

That girl was Eve, the Overseer of Life in her human form.

Eve didn't pay attention to Kevin or Kiana, her gaze never left the entity in front of her now, the Cocoon of Finality.

Cocoon who had been moving around now stopped when he felt Eve's presence, the entity that looked like a giant ball was now staring at Eve through the core of it body.

After a few moments of staring at each other, Eve then smiled while waving at Cocoon, "Hello, nice to meet you~."

[…]

Cocoon didn't answer but that didn't fade Eve's smile, the girl kept looking at Cocoon with her gentle smile.

[Why you are here?]

Cocoon finally answered; to Kiana and Kevin's surprise. They didn't expect that Cocoon would talk to people other than the people it chose.

Eve smiled while glancing at Kevin and Kiana then she replied, "Can I borrow them both? I know you have chosen Kiana-chan and I promise not to do anything to her."

The two Kaslanas were surprised and confused by Eve's words, they didn't understand what she meant by 'Borrowing'. Even so they remained silent, deciding to observe what the mysterious entity in front of them wanted.

[…]

Cocoon didn't answer and was silent as if it was thinking about what Eve said.

[…]

Eve kept smiling and waited patiently as Cocoon of Finality answered.

[Alright.]

Eve clapped her hands happily after hearing Cocoon's answer, she then turned to Kevin and Kiana who were speechless in surprise with a smile.

"Nice to meet you two, I congratulate you on winning this battle against the Honkai that has spanned tens of thousands of years."

"O-Okay…" Kiana stammered, not knowing how to react in front of this overly cheerful Eve.

Kevin of course wasn't half as Kiana, he warily looked at Eve, "Who are you? Why are you here? It shouldn't be possible for just anyone to enter this place."

"Ah, where are my manners. My name is Eve, I am the so-called Overseer of Life."

"Overseer… of Life?" said Kiana tilting her head in confusion. She was used to the name Overseer from dealing with Otto and Theresa, but the Overseer of Life was something new to her. She turned to Kevin and realized that Kaslana's ancestor was also confused by the name.

Eve just smiled seeing the confused expressions of the Kaslana duo, "It looks like you guys are confused, that's understandable. Let's move to a more relaxed place to talk about it."

Eve looked back and gave Cocoon of Finality a small nod, then she activated her teleportation ability like she did to enter this place. A patch of color formed from below, this time bigger than before so it could include Kiana and Kevin.

"Huh!? Wait-"

Kiana was surprised by the change in the situation but it was too late because the field had covered them all and teleported them to where Eve was headed.

Only the Cocoon of Finality remained silent and did nothing, just waiting for it chosen one to return.

Somewhere, a field forms and reveals Eve and the Kaslana duo inside.

Kevin and Kiana immediately looked around them warily, but what they saw confused them. All they saw was a theater room that they usually saw in big cities, nothing as dangerous as they thought.

"Now let's start talking." Eve's words caught their attention, they turned around and saw that the girl was already sitting in the chair provided, in front of her was a round table for tea and two other empty chairs.

Kevin and Kiana glanced at each other before they decided to sit in the remaining seats, now that things had calmed down Eve decided to speak.

"Now you must be wondering who I really am, then let me explain."

After that Eve began to tell about herself. She is the entity whose job is to oversee all living beings; be it past, present, or future.

The Kaslana duo were certainly surprised by Eve's explanation. Kevin, who has lived for more than 50,000 years, has never been aware of Eve's existence. As for Kiana, she suspects that Eve is the entity behind Ai-chan, but Eve quickly denies this; said that she is an entity that oversees all living things, not just overseeing the stories of Kiana and her friends.

"So what's your purpose in bringing us here?" Ask Kevin. He was completely bewildered by their current situation, his body should have already faded and disappeared into the void; but his current body showed no signs of it.

As if knowing Kevin's confusion; Eve started to speak, "You guys don't have to worry about what's going on in the outside world. This place is similar to the Imaginary Space, time outside of this place is frozen so it doesn't even take a minute for you to leave this place."

Eve crossed her smooth legs before continuing, "I think you guys already know what you're going to do once you get out of this place, right? Kevin, your body no longer has the strength to survive so you decide to catch up with your friends who are in the afterlife."

If Kevin is surprised then he won't show it, instead he asks another question, "Then why did my body survive until now?"

"Your body will still disappear, it's just that I delayed it. As long as you are in this place you can last as long as you want, you can catch up with your friends after getting out of this place."

Kevin gave a small nod to show he understood, "Then what is your purpose in bringing us here?" Kevin asked repeating his first question.

"I'll answer that in a minute," Eve said. Then she turned to Kiana, "Kiana-chan, after you completely absorb Cocoon, you already know what you're going to do after, right?"

"Yeah, since the earth hasn't healed from Project Stigma yet, I guess I'll stay on the moon until the new earth can withstand the authority of 'The End'."

"That's right, the process will take about ten years," Eve said nodding. Kiana could only smile bitterly hearing that.

Eve clapped her hands to get the attention of the Kaslana duo, "The point is you two are going to do your goodbyes. Kevin will part with this world while Kiana will part with her friends. Therefore how about we postpone the parting for a while?"

Kevin and Kiana looked at each other in confusion, not understanding what Eve meant.

"Postpone? What do you mean?" Ask Kiana.

"It all has to do with my purpose in bringing you two here."

After that Eve started to explain her purpose, she explained that she wanted to invite certain people from the past to watch the life that Kiana and her friends had lived.

"Eeeeh!? Watching our lives? You mean like a movie? And the people in the past?" Kiana shouted in surprise.

"What do you mean by people in the past? Can you revive them?" Kevin asked calmly.

"More like I would summon them from the time when they were alive."

"You can do that?" Kiana asked who had calmed down.

"Of course. That is one of my abilities."

"Why are you doing this?" Kevin asked, not bothering to ask about Eve's abilities.

After hearing Kevin's question, Eve paused and leaned back in her chair for a moment before replying, "If you want an honest answer, then the answer is for my own pleasure. I love seeing people's reactions when they see something like epic fights, heartwarming farewells, great mysteries being revealed and so much more."

Eve then turned to Kiana, "Kiana-chan, aren't you curious how you used to be naïve and stupid seeing your progress now?"

"Eh? Hmm, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested, instead I was curious how my old self would react," Kiana said a little excitedly, then she realized something in Eve's words, "Wait, what do you mean stupid?"

"Ah ha ha ha, ignore that. That's basically what I wanted to do, that's what I brought you two here for. So what do you think?"

Eve directed the question more at Kevin because Kiana had been sending puppy dog eyes at the man. Kevin who felt their stares could only sigh and give in.

"Okay."

"Good," Eve said happily, then a note popped out of her hand and she handed it to Kiana, "Read this."

Kiana took the note and read through it, "Raiden Mei, Bronya Zaychik, Fu Hua, Herrscher of Sentience, Siegfried Kaslana, Bianka Ataegina, Theresa Apocalypse, Rita Rossweisse, Li Sushang, Seele Vollerei, Welt Yang, Lieserl Albert Einstein, Frederica Nikola Tesla."

Kiana finished reading the list of names and looked at Eve confusedly, "What is this?"

"Those are people from your time that I will invite myself," Eve said before snapping her fingers, then the same planes as before were formed and revealed familiar people, "Now please explain to them briefly."

The newcomers looked around in confusion at the sudden change in their surroundings, then two of them saw someone familiar waving at them.

"Kiana-chan!"

"Kiana!"

Mei and Bronya who had exited their Herrscher mode immediately ran towards Kiana who was waving at them, after hearing the screams of the two girls; the others also turned their attention to Kiana. But then they saw someone surprising relaxing drinking tea in the chair next to Kiana.

"Kevin!"

Everyone immediately raised their guard upon seeing the leader of the World Serpent, while Kevin himself didn't show any reaction and enjoyed the hot tea Eve had prepared, strangely it didn't freeze like usual and Kevin enjoyed it immensely.

Kiana decided to step in before things got bad, "It's alright everyone, the battle is over. We won."

Everyone widened their eyes and then looked at Kevin who was crossing his arms.

"That's right, you won," Kevin replied, "It's all over."

"Ha! For someone who lost, you are very calm. I bet you weren't even serious from the start," said the Herrscher of Sentience crossing her arms.

"It doesn't matter to me, because my main goal has not changed. For the victory of humanity, and now that goal has been accomplished."

"How can we trust you with that?" Tesla asked sarcastically.

"You can ask Kiana then."

Then everyone's eyes turned to Kiana, the girl tried her best to explain to them. She explained that the Cocoon of Finality had chosen her to have the authority of Finality, then she explained that Kevin was now dying and would disappear for good once they were out of this place.

Everyone was shocked to hear that and turned to the World Serpent's leader, but no one was truly saddened by the news; only people close to Kevin feel it.

"Kevin…" Fu Hua said softly, a hint of sadness in his voice. Even though their paths crossed, Fu Hua still considered Kevin as her friend and dear brother. Likewise for Kevin.

"It's okay Hua, this is what I want" Kevin said to his old friend.

Fu Hua couldn't help but sigh and smiled sadly, "I see."

The others decided to stay silent and give the two old friends some time to be alone. Theresa then asked Kiana to distract her.

"Kiana, what do you mean by getting out of this place? And can you explain what this is all about?"

Kiana cleared her throat for a moment before once again explaining to the best of her ability, after she explained everything of course everyone was shocked again.

"Overser of Life? Are you telling us to believe about that?" Tesla asked frowning at Eve.

"You can not believe me, Dr. Tesla. But I know about you all, should I tell you that you have feelings for-"

"OKAY ENOUGH! You don't need to tell me that," Tesla shouted with a red face.

Mei sighed before turning to Kiana, "Kiana-chan, what's your decision?"

"Well, to be honest I was quite curious, so I agreed," said Kiana chuckling while rubbing her head.

"Ha ha, if my daughter has agreed, I guess it's fine for me to go too," said Siegfried with a laugh.

"Fu fu, agreed," Bianka said with a chuckle.

Theresa sighed as she shook her head, "Father and daughters are just the same."

After that everyone agreed and accepted Eve's offer even though some of them were still suspicious, but they had no complaints.

"Good," said Eve cheerfully, she then set up a large table and enough chairs for everyone, "Now let's discuss for the people we will be inviting."

Everyone sat down in their seats and surrounded a fairly large circular table, their positions akin to that of an organization about to discuss something important.

"Okay, it seems everyone has understood the situation then let's discuss who are the people from the past that we will invite," Eve said as she took the paper in front of her, "First comes from the Previous Era, the heroes who contributed to the advancement of humanity against Honkai in the Current Era."

Several related people immediately reacted upon hearing that, even more so for those who had been in contact with the heroes.

"Heroes… y-you mean…" Mei stammered and didn't finish her words.

"That's right Mei, The Flame-Chaser," Eve said, amused by the purple-haired girl's reaction.

"The Flame-Chasers…?" said Seele tilting her head in confusion.

"I will explain briefly. They were an organization in the previous era that fought against Honkai. Their legacy has greatly helped humanity in the current era, such as advancing civilization, Divine Keys, knowledge of the Final Herrscher or Herrscher of Finality as it is called now and many others."

Eve paused and let them process the information.

"That previous era was around 50,000 years ago, right? Are they still around now? I mean after the raid of the Final Herrscher," asked a curious Sushang, out of everyone she was probably the least knowledgeable about all of this.

"They are still exist. The fact there are two of them in this room," Eve said, surprising Sushang.

Eve pointed at Kevin, "The first one is Kevin, the leader of the Flame-Chasers. And the second is…"

Eve then pointed at Fu Hua, "Your Great Master."

Almost everyone in the room knew that Kevin and Fu Hua were the ones who managed to survive the Previous Era, they couldn't imagine what kind of life they had lived for over 50,000 years.

"By the way, Class Monitor. Do you remember about them?" Kiana asked Fu Hua.

"Yes, for some reason since entering this place my memories have gradually recovered," said Fu Hua as she placed a hand on her head.

"Ah, that's my job, just think of it as a gift from me. I'm quite sorry to see you have such a messed up memory," Eve said.

"I see, thank you," said Fu Hua with a gentle smile.

Eve nodded and looked back at her paper, "Well, basically there were 13 of them. Namely KEVIN, ELYSIA, APONIA, EDEN, VILL-V, KALPAS, SU, SAKURA, KOSMA, MOBIUS, GRISEO, HUA, and PARDOFELIS."

After Eve finished listing the names, Bianka gasped when she heard the name of someone familiar.

"Wait, SU? Is it possible…?"

"Yep, they're the same person," Eve said, confirming Bianka's suspicions.

"I see," said Bianka leaning back in the chair.

"Could he be the mister pioneer you spoke of, Durandal-sama?" Rita asked.

"Yes, the one who gave me the Seed of Sumeru."

"I understand. Even though the timeline is different, it is an honor to meet him in person," said Rita nodding slowly.

"Now let's move on to the next list, there is still one more person I want to invite from the previous era. Someone very important," Eve then turned to Kaslana's ancestor, "Kevin, I'll invite Dr. MEI."

Kevin's expression immediately stiffened, the thought of meeting the person he loved again made Kevin's mind agitated. He wondered what MEI would think when she saw his current self. Will she be sad? Angry? Those thoughts filled his head.

Kevin closed his eyes to calm himself, trying to shake off such bad thoughts. He had chosen this path of his own free will, and he was ready to accept whatever came his way.

Kevin then opened his eyes and gave Eve a small nod of approval.

"Kevin, are you all right?" Fu Hua asked worriedly.

"I'm fine Hua, just prepare to meet them. How about you?"

"Just like you. But at least I want to see them one more time."

"I understand," Kevin said calmly.

Neither of them spoke while the two of them were talking, it was because they didn't want to interrupt their conversation reminiscing about old friends.

Eve then cleared her throat to get everyone's attention once more.

"I understand how it feels to meet old friends who have died but you all must brace yourself for there is still more to come."

Eve looked at her paper one more time for another list.

"Okay, the next list is from the 15th century of the current era. Otto Apocalypse's friend and goal in life, Kallen Kaslana."

For those who knew Kallen directly or not, they were happy to hear that because they could see the strongest Valkyrie at that time, but at the same time they also felt sorry for Kallen when she found out what Otto had done all his life.

"Ha ha, if Otto finds out that you can take Kallen easily, he will definitely target you with all his might," said Senti laughing sarcastically.

"Fu fu, then he must work extra hard than he already did," Eve said amused.

"Hmph, if that's true, then the entire human race will be sacrificed," Tesla said with a snort.

Everyone agreed that Otto would really do that if that was the only way to revive Kallen.

"Let's continue," said Eve before looking back at her paper, "Next we will jump to the year 2000, where the second eruption occurred."

Everyone involved in the bloody event immediately tensed up, especially for Siegfried because it was in that event that his beloved wife, Cecilia, died.

Eve who felt a gloomy atmosphere was forming paused for a moment and looked at everyone, "Are you guys okay?"

Siegfried and the others jolted out of their frozen state, "Y-Yeah, just remembering bad memories," said Siegfried taking a deep breath to calm himself down.

"I see," Eve said with a slight nod, "Okay, the people who will be invited that year is Cecilia Schariac."

Eve noticed Siegfried's expression after she mentioned Cecilia's name, but instead of the tense expression he had just now, Siegfried's expression this time was full of longing. Kiana and Theresa clearly showed their joy that they could see Cecilia. As for Bianka, even though her expression was serene and only decorated with a small smile, Eve could feel her joy clearly within her.

"Ah that reminds me, the timeline I will be using is the time when Sirin was on the moon and she gave Welt an ultimatum to visit her," Eve said to everyone before turning to Siegfried and Theresa, "Should I take little Bianka? Cecilia was with her around that time, right?"

Everyone is again reminded that Bianka is Siegfried's biological daughter. Bianka herself was interested to hear that because she had absolutely no memory of herself as a child.

Siegfried crossed his arms while thinking, "Hmm… I guess it's fine to bring her along. Cecilia will surely panic when she is suddenly transferred to another place while Bianka is left behind."

"Yes, I thought so too," Theresa said supporting Siegfried's words.

"It's decided then," Eve said as she returned to her papers, "Next I will invite Welt, Dr. Tesla, and Dr. Einstein. What do you think?"

"Before I answer, I want to ask something. Are you going to broadcast the Second Eruption disaster?" Welt asked.

"Yes, it was one of the most important disasters that happened in the current era."

"Then I don't mind. Precisely it can help my past self get a better ending," Welt agreed.

"Yes, it can prevent him from self-sacrifice like an idiot," Tesla said sharply to the Sovereign of Anti-Entropy. Welt just smiled a little in return.

"I have no complaints," Einstein said calmly.

"Very well," Eve said nodding, "And that's all for 2000, now let's move on to-"

"Umm, Eve…?"

Just before Eve announced the next list, she was suddenly interrupted by Hua who raised her hand.

"Yes, Hua. What is it?"

"Would you be able to invite one more person from that year here?"

Eve was taken aback for a moment but it was replaced by joy, "Sure~. Who is it?"

Fu Hua paused and took a deep breath as if gathering resolve, then she looked at Eve.

"Cheng Lixue."

As soon as the name was mentioned, Senti who was leaning her head on the table out of boredom immediately gasped and looked at Fu Hua with wide eyes.

"Old Timer, are you serious?" Senti asked surprised. She had all of Fu Hua's memories, so she understood how important Cheng Lixue was to Fu Hua. Someone Fu Hua considered as her own daughter.

"Yes," Fu Hua replied firmly, "I know she died during the Second Eruption, but I don't know how she was in her final moments. And Mr. Welt just made me think that Lixue might have a better ending than death."

Eve's expression softened upon hearing that, "Sure. I don't mind," Eve said with a smile.

"Thank you," said Fu Hua relieved.

Eve glanced at everyone to see if they wanted to make a wish like Fu Hua, after confirming that no one did she returned to her papers.

"Okay, then we will enter 2016. The list includes Kiana Kaslana, Raiden Mei, Bronya Zaychik, Fu Hua, Theresa Apocalypse, Bianka Ataegina, Rita Rossweise, and… Murata Himeko."

Kiana and the others flinched at the mention of Himeko's name, Eve also saw Welt also blinked his eyes for a moment. Eve of course understood Himeko's importance to their lives. For Kiana and the others, Himeko is their teacher as well as their friend who always cheers them up. To Welt, Himeko is his overzealous and sometimes difficult student.

Eve gave them a moment to calm down and after that she continued the discussion.

"Alright, we've come to the end of the list. There is one more person I will invite, I deliberately put this person last for various reasons."

That statement made everyone curious about who this person Eve was referring to.

"Who?" Ask Mei.

Eve paused before answering, "Sirin."

Everyone fell silent hearing that, but it was only for a moment because after that a commotion exploded.

"Haa!? Are you crazy!? Did you not see what she did during the second eruption!?" Tesla shouted angrily. Talking about the second eruption had become a bad memory for them, and now that Eve was summoning the person who was the cause of the bloody disaster, of course they didn't take the news well.

Eve remained silent and listened quietly. She already knew that they would react this way at the mention of Sirin's name, so she patiently waited for everyone to calm down.

Welt noticed Eve's calm demeanor and he could sense there was a big reason why Eve wanted to bring Sirin here with them.

"Eve, can you explain to us why you brought her here?" Welt asked after everyone had calmed down.

"Yeah, sure," Eve said with a gentle smile, as if she had been expecting someone to ask her that.

Eve let out a soft breath before looking at everyone, "Dr. Tesla, I know what Sirin is up to. I know the exact number of victims she has killed, even I remember all the names of the victims."

Tesla immediately froze upon hearing that, in her anger she had forgotten who Eve really was.

"The reason I wanted to bring her here is because I want to believe that every living being can get a second chance at life, regardless of what they have done in the past."

Eve paused before continuing, "If we look at it from a right or wrong point of view, of course what she did was wrong. She has killed millions of people and she is proud of it. But if you think that she is the prime suspect in the Second Eruption disaster, then you are wrong."

It took some people by surprise, even more so for those who weren't involved in the disaster.

"Who is it, then?" Ask Mei. As far as she studied at St. Freya, the Second Eruption disaster was caused by Herrscher's attack which was Sirin herself.

"Try to remember where it happened the first time," Eve said. Instead of answering Mei's question, she asked back.

"Babylon Laboratory," Theresa replied.

"What organization is the laboratory under?"

"…Schicksal," said Siegfried in a trembling voice. At this point few could guess what Eve was aiming for.

"And who was the leader of the Schicksals then?"

"…Otto," Tesla growled.

"That's right, the real mastermind in the Second Eruption disaster was Otto Apocalypse," Eve announced.

"Wait, I know that grandfather has done many cruel things in his life, but I find it hard to believe that he is the mastermind. He was trying so hard to win the war at that time," Theresa said in denial while remembering when she was locked up by Otto so she could master the power of the Oath of Judah to win the war.

Eve snapped her fingers and a hologram appeared in the middle of the table, the hologram showing a masked person standing in the middle of a field of snow.

"Remember this person, Sieg, Welt?" Eve asked the two men who widened their eyes at the masked person.

"I remember that clown, he was the one who bothered Mr. Welt when he fought Sirin," shouted Siegfried angrily.

"Yeah, I remember him saying that Sirin's awakening was his master plan," Welt said calmly.

"That's Otto."

"WHAT!?"

Eve's brief statement caught Siegfried and the others by surprise.

"There's no doubt about it, Theresa. Otto is the mastermind," Siegfried growled. Theresa could only lower her head sadly but it was only for a moment as after that she let out a sigh and let her sadness out.

Eve cleared her throat to get everyone's attention, "Okay, let's stop the discussion about the mastermind. My aim is to tell you that Sirin is not a real monster who wants the destruction of humanity from the bottom of her heart, she is just an innocent girl who was used by adults for their own benefit."

After that Eve kept quiet and let them process the information she had shared, it might be hard for them to accept but it was the truth. If only Otto had never entered Sirin's life, the Second Eruption disaster might never have happened.

"Okay, we understand," said Einstein deciding on behalf of everyone, "When exactly would you use the timeline to summon her here? From what I know she's hated humanity ever since she entered that lab."

"Ah I forgot to tell you. I didn't summon Sirin from the past but from your present," Eve said surprising everyone.

"I thought Sirin was dead since the Second Eruption," Kiana said confusedly.

"That's what you all know," Eve said with amusement. Everyone looked at her suspiciously at her behavior.

"Oi, what are you hiding?" Senti asked with a suspicious look.

Eve only smiled before raising her clasped hands for all to see, she slowly opened her hands and an orb of purple light floated in her palm.

Everyone stared at the orb curiously. Only Kiana was staring at the orb wide-eyed and longing, for some reason she felt a strange familiarity with the orb.

"Kiana-chan?" Mei asked worried when she saw Kiana's expression.

Kiana remained silent, her gaze remained fixated on the orb of light in Eve's hand, "Eve, that..."

"It seems you noticed. Yes, this is Sirin's soul."

"Soul!?" said everyone in surprise. The researchers immediately straightened their bodies to take a closer look at the orb of light.

"Interesting, this is my first time seeing something like this. There isn't any fluctuation in her soul, it remains stable despite disturbances," said Einstein as she waved her hands around the orb of light.

"That's probably because of this orb, while the soul is inside. Is this some kind of seal? And why is her soul purple?" said Tesla who was also observing closely.

"You are right Dr. Tesla, this is a seal. The soul doesn't just disappear after death, it wanders around until the soul's energy runs out. I captured Sirin's soul after her death eighteen years ago, using the same method Dr. MEI to seal the Herrscher of Corruption into the Black Box."

The information shocked everyone. They thought that if only they had this knowledge beforehand, they might be able to save people who were already dead.

"And to answer your second question, the color of a person's soul is a result of the representation of the life they have lived. And for Sirin, she is purple according to the color that is most attached to her life."

"What do you plan to do with that soul?" Ask Kevin.

"I will raise Sirin from the dead. As long as someone's soul is still there, we can resurrect them whenever we want. But it seems I can't get rid of Herrscher of Void's power because it's already attached to her soul."

Researchers store that information in their heads, they think someday this information could be useful. Tesla then realized something that made her wary, "What about her memory? If she had the memories intact, then she would be hostile to us."

It was quite a troublesome situation, if Sirin turned against them then this place would be destroyed. Everyone turned to Eve, wondering how she was going to handle this.

"Her memory is intact and there is no need to worry about that. Even if she fights back, we have people much stronger than her in this room," Eve said as she glanced at certain people before continuing, "But I won't choose the path of violence because that will only frighten her. We will choose a more peaceful path to win her heart, therefore I will leave all decisions to Siegfried and his daughters."

"Uh, us?" said Siegfried in surprise. Bianka and Kiana looked at each other in confusion.

"Yes, there is a reason why I leave it to you to decide whether to help Sirin or not."

"And what is that?" Siegfried asked carefully.

"Legacy and a Wish," Eve said as she looked at Siegfried and his daughters and then snapped her fingers.

Siegfried frowned in confusion, then suddenly his head was assaulted by memories that didn't belong to him. From the corner of his eye, he saw Kiana and Bianka going through the same thing.

Siegfried held his head as the memories started to come clear in his eyes.

"Wait, what happened?" said Theresa worriedly seeing the condition of Siegfried, Kiana, and Bianka.

"Don't worry, just wait a little longer," Eve said calmly as she watched.

Everyone waited carefully while watching Siegfried, Kiana and Bianka. Their bodies shook as they received whatever memories Eve gave them.

Mei supported Kiana by holding her hand which Kiana replied by gripping her tightly. Rita put her hand on Bianka's shoulder while watching her worriedly. Siegfried places one of his mechanical hands on the table for support while the other holds his head.

After a while the memories ended and changes could be seen clearly. Siegfried and Bianka gasped with their breaths trembling, tears wanted to flow from their eyes but they could hold it in. Meanwhile, Kiana couldn't hold back her tears and let them flow down her cheeks.

"K-Kiana-chan, are you okay?" Mei asked worried after seeing Kiana's condition.

"Y-Yes, I'm fine Mei-senpai. I just wasn't ready for what I just saw," Kiana said weakly.

"What did you see, Kiana?" Bronya asked.

"That-"

"What they saw were memories of Sirin and Cecilia's last moments," Eve said in response to Bronya's question.

Theresa's body stiffened at that, now she understood what Siegfried, Kiana, and Bianka were feeling. Seeing Cecilia's death must have hurt them.

"I know you guys feel sad but it's not good to drag on. It's about time we look to the future and see what we have now," Eve said before looking at Siegfried, "Now Siegfried, what is your decision?"

Siegfried leaned back in the chair and closed his eyes, it lasted for a few moments until he let out a long breath. He opened his eyes and Eve saw the determination in that look.

"Heh, there's no question about it. My beloved wife has sacrificed herself to carry out her duties as a mother until the end of her life. Now is the time for my role as father to be put to use," said Siegfried with a grin.

Kiana and Bianka's expressions brightened and they shared the same determination as their father to save their newest sister.

Eve smiled with satisfaction at their passion and determination.

"Very well. Then let's start the operation to win the heart of a girl who hates humanity and wants affection."

Hello, I'm back with a new fic. This time it's a Honkai Impact reaction fanfic which is my favorite game.

I've read some of the other honkai reaction fanfic, and I'm interested in making my own version.

Speaking of this chapter, please don't take what I write seriously. I'm just using my powers as a writer to make this reaction fanfic as enjoyable as possible. Like I did in COTE: Reaction.

There is still one more prologue chapter, maybe you can already guess what it contains.

Well that's all I want to say this time. Sorry if there are mistakes in words, repeated words, or language errors during writing.

See you next time.
