They stay that way for some time, with Kuon answering Kyoko's questions as they come to her mind.

"Does Muse-sama dye your hair all the time? Is that why she is coming over?"

"Yes. Usually she dyes it if I have an over seas job. She doesn't know who I am but she does know this is how I truly look."

"Why were you so harsh on me for making a promise to Ren, who is you, when I spoke to you in Guam?"

"Because you really should think more before making promises, even to me."

Kyoko makes a face at that answer, "But we just promised…"

Chuckling, Kuon responds, "Yes. I won't let you take that back. But really you should think about what you are agreeing to before you say yes. It's the same for work as well."

"Hmm… wait. You said you knew who I was when I dropped Corn in the stairwell."

"Yes."

"You knew for over a year and you didn't say anything to me?!"

Rubbing his neck, Kuon says, "Well, at the time we didn't have the best relationship, so I didn't say anything. I did ask you those questions about Kyoto though to make sure it was you. Then later…. I didn't want to lose you."

Frowning, Kyoko asks, "What do you mean, lose me?"

"You had grown very important to me and I saw what you were like with Fuwa, and you grew up with him. I was afraid if I told you, you would never speak to me again. I didn't want that, so I kept quiet. Even though that made me lie to you more, which is definitely not what I should have done. Especially when you asked me directly in Guam."

"Yes, you should have told me the truth then…." Kyoko looks lost in thought for a moment until she suddenly exclaims, "You jumped off a building?!"

"Ah, yes."

"Don't 'ah, yes' me! You're not a real fairy Corn! You could have died."

"There was a really low chance of that, we weren't that high up."

"How did you even disappear?!"

"I used the flag pole to vault into the floor below us. I think I may have startled a few people at the time, but it was all fine."

"Fine?! You jumped off a building! Please promise me you will never do that again."

"I will promise not to unless it is for a role or a good reason."

"Ugh… fine."

The questions continue until there is a hesitant knock at the living room archway. Julie stands there, looking uncertain, her eyes taking in the view of Kyoko and Kuon in each others arms on the couch and tenderly looks over Kuon's blonde hair and green eyes. "Sorry, I don't mean to interrupt, but Kanae-san and Yukihito-san are leaving for the morning shoots."

Startled, Kyoko quickly extracts herself from Kuon, her face bright red as she stutters excuses and starts to run away.

Kuon grabs her hand, halting her. "Okay, thanks for letting us know Mom. Can you give us five? We'll be with everyone shortly."

Julie nods and heads back down the hall.

Kyoko is babbling, panic on her face, "What am I going to do? She saw us like that! She's going to think I am such a…"

"Whoa. Calm down." Kuon says, squeezing her hand to get her attention before pulling her into a hug again. "It will be fine. I will explain things to mom. She's not going to think anything bad, she adores you."

"But…"

"No buts. It will be fine. Every little thing will be alright."

"How do you….?"

"Because everyone in this house loves and adores you, Kyoko. And we will do everything to make sure you are okay and happy. Me especially."

Face bright red, Kyoko squeaks out, "Chan! Kyoko-chan!" Before burying her face against his chest.

"Sorry," Kuon says, leaning down and whispering in her ear, "Kyoko-chan."

"Eep!" Pulling out of his embrace, Kyoko says, "Maybe I was too hasty the other day! Mogami-san is fine."

Putting a pout on his face, Kuon replies, "But, you agreed."

"Uggh! Not the puppy dog eyes!" Kyoko covers her eyes.

"Please," Kuon pouts.

Uncovering her eyes, she looks at him before caving, "Uggh! Fine! You can call me Kyoko-chan! But my stage name!"

"And you will call me Ren?" Kuon asks, puppy dog eyes still pleading at Kyoko.

"Fine! Yes. But Re-Ren-san! And only when alone."

A blinding smile crosses his face, "Thank you. That will work for now."

Shaking her head, Kyoko mutters, "Those expression should be illegal!"

Chuckling, Kuon grabs her hand once more. Sobering a bit he says, "Truly. Thank you Kyoko-chan. For listening to me, and for not running away. You can ask me, my parents or even the president anything, if you have questions."

Looking into his eyes, Kyoko nods. "I may be angry with you later. About lying to me."

"I understand. Just please don't avoid me? And let me know if you have any problems, about this or anything?"

"Okay."

"I will follow you shortly, just need to put these back on." Kuon says later, motioning to his wig and contacts as he lets Kyoko's hand go. Noticing the question in her eyes, Kuon says, "I will be telling Yashiro soon, and I know you trust Kotonami-san. But until I am ready, I want to limit how many people know the full truth. The more people who know, the more someone may accidentally says something. I would like to reveal everything on my own terms."

Nodding in understanding, Kyoko says, "It is great to see you again, Kuon-san. Thank you for trusting me." Kyoko gives him a shy smile, quickly grabbing his hand and squeezing his pinkie finger before heading out of the living room, leaving a slightly stunned Kuon in the room alone.

Clenching and unclenching his hand at the contact, Kuon smiles after her for a few moments. Shaking his head, he starts to don his Ren wig and contacts as he prepares for the days ahead.
