3It was a very quiet morning in the Land of Departure, sunbeams entering the castle windows quickly enough, allowed Terra to wake up with some annoyance (since it's in his eyes), but he wouldn't let that stop him. Things were hectic with Ven's arrival since he's been unconcious for a month, but from whar little Eraqus decided to share with him and Aqua, it made sense.
Speaking of, if Terra knew Aqua as well as he thought he did, she's probably by Ven's bedside, waiting for him to wake up. So, as queitly as he could, Terra headed to Ven's room, and sure enough, Aqua was indeed sitting by Ven's bedside, with a sad frown on her face.
A small smirk crossed Terra's face as he quietly approached, and tapped Aqua on her shoulder. This action of course startled Aqua as evident woth how she jumped, and summoned her Keyblade, Rainfell in her right hand.
"Terra, don't do that!" Aqua snapped in a very harsh whisper.
"Sorry, it was spur of the moment. But, you know what today is, right?" Terra asked in turn.
Aqua quickly dismissed Rainfell as she thought in contemplation, quickly doing the math in her head, Aqua quickly figured out what Terra tried to allude to. It was Master's Appreciation Day today, or Father's Day as it's known on some of the Outside Worlds. That's when it hit Aqua
"Oh right, our plan for today!" Aqua realized as Terra smirked.
"I know you're worried about Ven, I am too, but he's safe with us & Master Eraqus here even if we don't watch over him twenty four hours a day. We can guide him in training when he's recovered, okay?" Terra rationalized.
Aqua nodded, and then the two of them left the room, and headed downstairs, passed the foyar that doubled as the training hall, and went into the Kitchen. The plan is simple: Terra would make the bacon & eggs while Aqua made pancakes. In the past, Terra had a hard time with flipping pancakes, and Aqua always burnt the bacon, but recently they discovered that they had a knack for each other's jobs, so recently instead of fighting they decided mutually to trade jobs to make things easier on each other.
After a little bit of preperation, Aqua made the pancake batter, and began flipping the pancakes as the solidified. Terra on the other hand mixed the egg s with some milk, and stirred them for the scrambled eggs, and flipped the Bacon so both sides were evenly cooked.
Once everything was finished, Aqua & Terra worked together to was the dirty dishes, and plate the food. Now all they had to do was bring it to Master Eraqus
Eraqus quietly woke up as he smelled the scent of cooking. Once he sat right up in bed, he could here footsteps approach. Terra and Aqua must have prepared something for him, he was quite sure. It put a smile on his face knowing how much his students care about him (of course he cared for them like they were his own children, but that was something he kept to himself.
Suddenly, Eraqus heard knocking at his bedroom door. He knew exactly who was on the otherside.
"It's unlocked." Eraqus said simply.
Once the door opened, Aqua and Terra stepped inside with a breakfeast tray. It had butter, pancakes, syrup, bacon & eggs, as wellas Tea in a cup. Eraqus blinked in surprise, everything looked and smelled amazing
"Happy Master's Appreciation Day!" Aqua & Terra chourused.
"Aqua, Terra, this looks amazing, thank you." Eraqus replied.
Once the tray was set, Eraqus took small bites. As he did so, Eraqus found his mouth cry out in pleasure with how good it tasted. It brought a tear to his eye. I no tIme at all, Eraqus finished his Brekfeast, got out of bed, and hugged his pupils. Once that was done, Aqua & Terra bowed in respect before taking the dirty dishes out of the room. They had a long day of training to get through after all.
