A prayer would be answered this Christmas season. A little four-year-old boy wish to have parents that would love him and his baby brother and wouldn't hurt them.

On the morning of December 1st a young woman Heather Darden and her boyfriend Jeffrey who were drunk walked into their apartment to hear her youngest son crying. "Cannot that ungrateful little brat stop crying for just a day," said Jeffrey as he set back in his chair with a beer turning on the TV. Heather just sit on the couch closing her eyes hoping the crying would finally stop and wishing her ex Andy Darden had took the boys with him. Before the neighbors called the police on them again. But all the crying did was get louder and make Jeffrey get more angrier jumping up from the his seat and storming his way to the room put a stop to the crying. Heather just kept sitting there not caring what he did to them and thinking that maybe they should have dump them somewhere not like anybody would be looking for them. Maybe just the boys godparents who she had to block the number of and move from the house so they will not find out what was happening to the boys.

In the bedroom was a scared little boy and his hungry baby brother who he tried to quieten down. When Griffin heard heavy footsteps coming their way he got scared and started looking for somewhere to hide little Ben. The door flung open Griffin looked up from trying to hide Ben under the bed to see Jeffrey standing there angrily. "Now you're doing something about it now. What have we told you to keep him quiet or you're going to get it," said Jeffrey as he grabbed Griffin's arm tightly. "No please he's just hungry do not hurt him," beg the little boy as he filled his bone snap.

"You do not tell me what to do little bastard. You two were fed before we left last night that should be good enough until tonight. You know the rules you only get fed once a day," said Jeffrey as he dropped and kicked Griffin in the stomach. As Griffin saw him moving towards Ben he said, "No leave him alone he's just a baby." "What did I just tell you. So you think you can protect him," said Jeffrey as he saw Griffin moving towards Ben to make sure he did not get hurt. "I want Daddy and Mommy," whispered Griffin as he crawled towards Ben. Jeff heard him and said, "You know your mommy doesn't want you if she did she wouldn't stand by and let me do what I do. Your dad couldn't even stand to be a father he was too busy with his mistress."

"No mommy and daddy love me. You mean people took me from them," "Jeffrey stop before the neighbors call the cops. I'll get them some water that should shut them up," said Heather as Jeffrey kicked Griffin in the back and head she didn't even flinch upon saying him do that. Before they could leave the room they heard banging on the door and someone saying police. "You better keep quiet or else it will be worser after they leave."

"How can I help you officer" Heather ask the officer. They could tell she was drunk and they could hear the baby crying loud. "We are here to check about a disturbance and ask why no one answered the door last night when we came about a crying baby," said the female officer as she saw the man in the house get angry they all of a sudden heard a blood shattering screen coming from the bedroom. The officers barged in and took off running to the room.

Back in the boys bedroom Griffin was trying to calm Ben down. "It's going to be okay Ben. I'll protect you maybe tonight they will forget to lock us in and maybe we can find a way to Daddy and Mommy," said a crying Griffin. He went to lay on his left side then all of a sudden he screamed when he put pressure on his arm. He tried to stop his scream knowing what would happen when all of a sudden the door flung open and a man and woman stood there looking shocked at what they saw.

The male officer Jackson called for backup and a ambulance as his partner officer Scott arrested Heather he went and arrested Jeffrey. Then they went over to check on the crying little boy not seeing the baby he was trying to protect. When they turn the little boy over they saw him all bruised and bloody but the baby with no marks on him. They could hear the little boy crying for Daddy and Mommy. They could not understanding how a little boy whose parents beat him could still be crying for them. "Sorry little guy but mommy and daddy are going somewhere while we take you to the hospital," said officer Scott. All of a sudden boy screamed "no not them I won't Mommy and Daddy." These two officers started to think maybe these two kids had been kidnapped. But before they could try to question the boy the ambulance had arrived. "Where are you taking them so that we know where to come. So that we can talk to him," ask officer Jackson. "We are taking them to Chicago med," said one of the women.

At the police station officer Scott went to talk to Heather to find out who those boys were. "Miss. Darden Hi I'm officer Scott I'd like to ask you a few questions." "Go ahead or I could go ahead and just tell you what I think you won't answers to instead of wasting our time. Those boys are biologically mine their father left when I was pregnant with the youngest. To be with his mistress he signed away his rights to those boys. So what I let my boyfriend beat them I never wanted them the only kid I wanted landed up dying. My sweet little baby girl she would be turning 10 soon," said Heather not caring to even ask how her sons were doing. Officer Scott was shocked at what she heard coming from a mother. "Why was your son calling for daddy and mommy if he did not mean you guys?" ask the officer. "He was crying for his godparents. We left Griffin with them when he was 2 year old up until he was three because I was going through PTSD. But we haven't talked in the longest time because how we left Griffin and keep Annabelle with us. Also at that time Andy was cheating on me with Matt's ex-girlfriend Hallie Thomas. Is that all officer I like to go back to my cell," answered Heather. The more Heather says the shocker the officer gets how could a mother love one child. "Could you tell me how to find them. Why haven't they came to check on the boys or call about them," ask officer Scott. "They both work at Firehouse 51. Matt's last name is Casey and I wouldn't know if they are married yet but Gabby's last name is Dawson if she hasn't took his now. Well they did call and tried to come see them is because I blocked their number and we moved so they have no clue where we move to. Oh before you take me back to my cell I just want to sign away my rights to the boys since they will be taken away anyways." "We'll have to get the papers when they're ready we'll come and get you to sign up." Another officer led her out back to her cell.

Officer Scott went out front to tell her partner what all she found out. "Scott what did she tell you," ask Jackson. "The two boys are hers. The dad up and left and signed away his rights to them. She didn't even care to even ask how they were. She said the two people he was calling Mom and Dad are his godparents. She gave me names and where they work. She blocked their numbers and they moved so they have no clue where the boys are," said Scott knowing what her partner was going to ask also after hearing that they were their godparents. "We'll just check up on the boys then go to Firehouse 51 to see if they are at work then go from there," said Jackson as they left the police station.
