Chp 6: Assemble Heroes

Not too far from the city Fenton Crackshell Crabrera was at home watching the live report on television.

Roxxane: "This is Roxxane Fetherley live from the city. Strange red creatures have shown up and attacked the residents of the city, urging anyone who's at home to stay indoors and keep your doors locked."

The young scientist got a call from his mentor Fenton.

Gyro: "Are you seeing this it's nuts this is even worse than the whole Riot incident."

Fenton: "Not to worry I know what I have to do, blathering blatherskite."

Parts of the armor began to attach themselves to the scientist suiting up to become Gizmoduck.

Fenton: "Don't worry i'll be there asap."

Maria: "Mijo you better come back asap!"

Fenton: "Yes mama."

…

In another part of the city with the Drake family siblings Doofus and Boyd watched the chaos ensuing on the news. Boyd looked on with worry concerned for his friend Louie.

Boyd: "Doof I have to go Louie may need me, let our parents know where i'm going."

The robo bird opened the window and right as he was about to take off he was pulled into an unexpected hug from Doofus.

Doofus: "Comeback in one piece, brother,"

Boyd smiled and returned the hug before flying off into the city.

…

On another nother area of the city Penumbra and her girlfriend Luna(Haha we got a Luna and A Loona in the story), watching from their home.

Luna: "How can this be? I know this isn't Louie's doing but how did we miss another symbiote being here, my sensors didn't pick up any other senses for a while now."

Penumbra: "I don't know but I need to do something my best friend is going to need me, the duck family needs me."

Luna: "I'm coming with you!"

Penumbra: "No you stay here and look after our child, I couldn't forgive myself you two got hurt."

The moon warrior bid her goodbye to her family and took a speeder that Luna had made for her to get around and went to the city.

After searching for hours and with the attack on the city the duck family along with Lena and Violet returned to mcduck manor. Della was being rather stubborn and wanted to go back out there and find Louie; Donald Launchpad and Scrooge were struggling to hold her back.

Scrooge: "Lass please be reasonable here you can't go back out there."

Della: "Louie needs me, I have to get to him!"

Donald: "You dummy you saw what happened on the news you won't be helping anybody if you're hurt either."

Roxxane: "Wait oh my what's this it looks like duckburg is saved there appears to be a silhouetted figure clad with green fighting off these creatures.

This caught the families attention without further inspection they could deduce that the silhouetted figure was none other than Louie along with Venom.

Della: "He's alive, my boy's alive."

Lena: "I knew you'd make it back Lou."

Roxanne: "And it seems he isn't alone, it looks like fighting alongside him is a wolf with an emblem of a spider on it."

Dewey: "Wow a new hero in duckburg nice could we possibly get a team up with Darkwing!"

Huey: "Dewey not now."

Lena gets up and makes her way to the door.

Webby: "Lena where're you going?"

Lena: "I'm going out there to help Louie."

Beakley: "No one is going anywhere!"

Lena: "B..but Louie needs help."

Scrooge: "No lass Beakley is right we'd only get in the way and I think Louie would prefer it if we weren't in danger."

Lena only looked out a nearby window.

Lena: "Green, please be ok."

Finally with Loona and Louie/Venom the duo was fighting off hordes of symbiote zombies while many citizens were running for their lives. Loona fended off five of them performing aerodynamics attacks by jumping in the air and pulling herself down to deliver powerful kicks to beat them. Louie smacked one with a street pole before.

Venom: "Look out."

Louie saw two more red symbiotes charging from behind til he had two tendrils shoot out from behind him and grab them then slamming them on the ground til they were out.

Loona; "You're getting better at mastering that symbiotes abilities."

Louie: "At this point it feels like I only scratched the surface."

Suddenly a larger horde of red symbiotes showed up and began to overwhelm the duo.

Loona: "This is too much we'd better get out of here, Louie get on my back."

The duck did as told and the hellhound began to launch herself with her webb but nothing came out.

Loona: "Crap I'm out of web fluid."

Louie: "Uh wh…what now!?"

Suddenly from the back many red symbiotes were sent flying from rocket blasts coming into the center was Gizmoduck.

Louie: "Fenton."

Fenton: "Greetings Louie and uh new comer."

Loona: "Friend of yours?"

Louie: "Glad you could join the party but I don't know if three is going to be even the odds."

One red symbiote leaped at Gizomo who was caught off guard and it was pulling at his head before it was lasered off, soon a barrage of laser beams began to hit their marks.

Boyd: "HI LOUIE."

The group looked up to see it was Boyd who landed right beside Louie.

Louie: "Boyd good to see ya bud ." The two did a fist bump.

The four began to fend off more and more enemies with Gizmo and BOyd there hoping to even their odds. Suddenly the group could hear something darting towards them. The rider launched themselves into the air from a car. It was Penumbra who leapt from the speeder and landed right next to the group before unleashing fire onto the red symbiotes.

Penumbra: "Hello again Louie and present company."

Louie: "Penumbra, man word really traveled fast."

Loona: "Geez this universe is like earth 199999 any other superheroes showing up soon."

Then multiple smoke bombs were tossed in front of the group forcing the symbiotes back.

Louie: "As a matter of fact there is."

Voice: "I am the terror that flaps in the night, I am the tsunami that washes away all sorts of villainy."

Then a duck clad in purple with a mask and cape appeared above a street lamp.

Drake: "I am Darkwing Duck."

Drake leaped over to a symbiote before it delivered a kick to his stomach sending him flying and to be caught by Boyd. Soon ever more red symbiotes showed up.

Drake: "Alright im calling it, take cover."

Drake threw down a smoke pellet and the band of heroes had disappeared. Leaving the red symbiotes to just fan out and roam freely around the whole city.

…

The group was now maneuvering through the city just about everywhere they turned there were infectees everywhere, the city thrown into chaos. It was worse when Doofus took control last time.

Fenton: "Well this all seems horrible."

Drake: "Oh what was your first clue the savage beast nearly eating our faces off or the destruction to the whole city."

Loona: "We need someplace to lay low, I don't know this world all too well any of you have an idea?"

Louie: "I know one place where there's lots of room."

…

The whole family was in the waiting room, eyes glued to the television screen not wanting to miss any details on the news. Certain areas were closed off and the streets were deserted and no longer safe to walk, after seeing enough Beakley decided to shut off the tv.

Beakley: "God help us all."

Lena was pacing back and forth on the foyer trying to call Louie but no answer, Beakely walked in with a plate of food.

Beakley: "Dear you should really eat something, I know you're worried we all are but fretting isn't going to help the situation."

Lena took the plate of food and began eating but she couldn't stop worrying. She needed a sign to tell her he was okay, Huey Dewey Della and Donald were all worried too. She was brought out of it when there was a knock at the door, she readied her magic in case it was an incoming enemy beakley took out a laser pistol and made the saberwing girl stay behind her. The door then gently swung open revealing Louie and company.

Louie: "Wow easy ms. B we come in peace."

Lena: "Green."

Lena practically threw herself at Louie despite the height difference and venoms added strength he was able to hold her up and swing her around.

Lena: "I'm so glad you're ok."

Beakley: "You must be tired, all of you please come in."

The rest of the group made it in reuniting with the family Louie was locked in a group hug by his brothers uncle and mom, Della couldn't stop kissing him all over or squeezing him to death.

Della: "Oh sweetie, I'm so glad you're okay."

Donald: "We all are."

Louie: "I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Loonas help."

The Spider Hound gave the family a nervous wave; her hand was then grabbed by Della who profusely began to shake it and thank her. After meeting the rest of the family and sharing her origins with the others, everybody gathered in the main room discussing their plans for their current situation. Right now the group had two safe houses: the manor and the money bin. Louie now in his regular attire stood in the doorway with his arms crossed with guilt hindering him. He stepped out and made his way into the foyer with Lena following him.

Lena: "Green hold up."

Louie turned to face his girlfriend.

Lena: "I know what you're thinking and don't there's no way you're going out there by yourself."

Louie sighed in defeat.

Louie: "This is all my fault Lena if Gavin hadn't bitten me then that monster wouldn't've come to life and the city wouldn't be under siege like this." Angry, Louie threw a punch into a wall putting a hole in it. (Due to Venom).

Lena: "Green bean look we already know how to beat these things sure you caused the problem but we have the solution, come on everyone is talking about a way to end this chaos."

Lena offered her boyfriend a hand which he took, the couple returned to the family room going over their plan joined by Gearloose and Manny who were brought their do to Gizmo.

Gizmo: "Ok folks obviously this is horrible, we're facing the end of the WORLD, IT'S A SYMBIOTIC APOCALYPSE OUT THERE, AND WERE LIVING IN HELL!"

Manny had to slap the doctor.

Gizmo: "Thank you manny."

Gyro: "But thankfully to penumbra's incite we know how to stop them, we'll use this."

Boyd shot a projection of a device out of his eyes.

Gyro: "Manny and myself will build a device that'll rid the people of their symbiotes, I call it the Perish-ite name still pending."

Louie: "Good plan except for the part where it rids people of their symbiotes, what'll happen to Venom."

Loona: "I got that covered dude before the device goes off. I can open a portal to a safe place in the universe where you and Venom will be safe, once it's clear I'll bring you right back."

Venom shot out of Louie.

Louie: "Sounds good to me."

Dewey: "So where do we start?"

Gyro: "We're going to need to acquire some parts. Me and Manny already have them listed out but we'll need a team to go out and bring them here.

Scrooge: "First how about we all call it a day, we all need our rest."

Everyone agreed to this and decided to call it a night Loona stayed in the guest room along with the others in their respective rooms.

Meanwhile at Waddle's headquarters; Gavin/Carnage oversees operations as the red symbiotes start changing certain areas into a black gooey flesh-like surface with a tunnel hole for them to climb into. As another building is being covered in the black goo tendrils shoot out and connect to the Waddle's headquarters black goo. This is when Lily and Alex step in.

Lily: "Why did we choose this place?"

Gavin: "Better than living with Glomgold. Just saying."

Lily and Alex look around and notice the changes.

Alex: "What is this stuff?"

Carnage: "Nests."

Lily: "Nests? Nests for what?"

Gavin: "What are you doing Carnage?"

Carnage: "Making the place more comfortable. Got to have a home if we're going to take this show on the road."

Gavin: "Wait, are you saying we're taking over the world?"

Carnage: "Think bigger. Today Duckburg, tomorrow the universe. There is a lot of folks out there. A lot to scam, cheat, and more friends to have. Why have one town, one world when you can have it all? Think about it."

Gavin: "We'll live like kings!"

Lily: "Ahem."

Gavin: "Sorry, I got too excited. Kings and queens."

Carnage: "Exactly. Tomorrow we will take Duckburg."

Carnage unleashes an unearthly screech and all the red symbiotes follow suit. It looks like it's going to be a dark one tonight.
