Chapter 08: Race On

Victoria Dallon (Glory Girl) –

As she patrolled with Azuth, she bided her time. She honestly didn't know how to bring up what she wanted to talk about, and she was well aware that it wasn't anything that people weren't already saying… but Azuth was empowering the nazis.

She was sure that Azuth was a genuinely nice person. Watching him as he healed the victim of an attempted mugging with a soft smile showed her that whatever he was trying to do, she was sure he had good intentions.

"We should stop for some food; I kinda missed dinner since I went on patrol straight from school," Vicky admitted with an awkward laugh, rubbing her neck as Azuth chuckled.

"I normally just conjure my own food," Azuth admitted as she gestured to a rooftop for them to land on, his Chocobo touching down gracefully as she landed next to it, reaching up and ruffling the giant bird's feathers.

"Oh? You really are the gift that keeps giving, aren't you?" Vicky teased, watching him click his fingers as a pair of buns appeared.

"I don't have access to the largest menu at the moment, but I have more than enough choices to suit my own tastes. Not sure they'd meet your standards, though," Azuth joked, making her snort as she sat on the edge of the roof.

"I was gonna get a Fugly Bobs, so if the food can be classed as edible if you squint at it enough, it'll do," Vicky laughed, taking a bite from the bun with a hum of appreciation. Man, she could not be trusted with the power to summon food.

"I'm going for a Mammoth Steak, care to try one?" Azuth offered, making her pause. Wait, Mammoth as in the ancient ice age mammal?

The giant steaks he conjured made her eyes widen and her mouth water, seeing the three steaks appear with the plates and cutlery required. Wait, three?
The Chocobo chirped, grabbing one of the steaks as she giggled. Ah, yeah, that made sense.

"As for my drink, I think I'll try spiced wine today," Azuth said, rubbing his chin as he clicked his fingers and a glass of red wine appeared in his hands.

"Wait, are you old enough to drink?" Vicky asked, making him chuckle.

"Well, no, but I also can't get drunk. I just like the taste. Care to try some? Carbuncle can remove your intoxication if you're a lightweight," Azuth teased, making her mentally smile at his admittance to being her age or younger.

"Who are you calling a lightweight?" Vicky said challengingly, watching him conjure her a glass with a grin. "Man, your powers are weird. What can't you do?"
"In truth? Nothing, with enough time and energy," Azuth said plainly as she took a sip, her eyes widening at the delicious taste. "It's a heavy gift I have been given."

Azuth didn't sound like he was boasting as he looked over the city, eating his steak as she did the same. She didn't know if this was actually mammoth steak, but it definitely tasted different to any other steak she'd ever tried. It was certainly a nice, if strong, taste.

"So why all the games? If you can do anything, why bother with the showmanship and competitions?" Vicky asked, making him chuckle.

"Because everything has a price. I have a limited pool of energy, and the games are the most efficient way to restore it," Azuth admitted, his Carbuncle sitting in his lap as she listened to him, brows furrowed in thought. "We don't have the luxury of time. If you knew what I knew, you'd understand my actions far better."

Azuth's tone was grim, a frown on his lips as he looked over at her.

"I don't think I would. Nothing is worth empowering villains. What if the Empire had beaten Mouse Protector in your little tournament? Would you have made Fenja into some super cape, basically handed Brockton Bay over to some white supremacists led by a violent madwoman?"

"Yes," Azuth admitted simply, making her flinch back before she glared at him lightly. She just couldn't get it; whatever Azuth thought he knew, surely it wasn't that bad? There had to be a line in the sand, and Azuth was, at the very least, tip-toeing along it.

Still, she wasn't terrible at reading people, and even she could tell Azuth wasn't doing this lightly. The way he looked so tense when he wasn't doing his wizard act and the sadness in his eyes told her that much.

"Is it the Endbringers?" Vicky finally asked, making him smile. "You mentioned their sleeping siblings on PHO. I didn't think Thinkers could predict the Endbringers."

"Partially, but not alone. Most cannot, but I have seen what is coming. As bad as the world seems, I'm afraid that if nothing changes, it's going to get far worse," Azuth admitted with a grim look. "I've warned Alexandria of what I know, and she took my warnings seriously, at least. She knows why I do what I do, if that helps."

Vicky couldn't help the momentary flinch back at his solemn words but calmed herself down after a moment. With Azuth's act dropped, she was getting a look at the very stressed teenager who was trying to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Oddly enough, he reminded her slightly of Amy. Maybe it was that similarity that made her feel so bad for him, even as his pets chirped at him, cheering him up.

"I know empowering Fenja was a villainous act; I am not unaware of the danger that the Empire Eighty-Eight possess, but if it can help me stop what is coming, it will be worth it," Azuth swore, and she wasn't sure if he was trying to convince her or himself.

She went to speak, but a loud crash made them both jump, and she sighed.

"Again? Man, the Rollerz are getting out of hand," Vicky said, finishing her bite and throwing the remaining steak to the Chocobo, who chirped gratefully and bumped its beak against her head. Man, Amy was going to be jealous when she heard that Vicky got to play with Azuth's summons. "Ready?"
"Always," Azuth agreed, making the remaining food vanish with another click of his fingers, mounting his giant bird with a thoughtful smile.

Flying to the source, between the two of them, they made short work of the car crash. Thankfully, nobody died, and Carbuncle was able to heal everyone. Again, she saw the gentle side of Azuth as he comforted an injured little girl while Carbuncle saw to the worst cases first, the dumbass driving nearly double the speed limit getting taken away.

"Is this common?" Azuth asked, unknowingly making her suspicious. Everyone in Brockton Bay knew how bad the Rollerz were when it came to accidents. Sure, they might not be malicious, but they did just as much damage by accident as the other gangs did on purpose. He hadn't realised they were so bad when they first met, either.

Azuth wasn't a local, not born and raised in Brockton Bay. There was something in how he acted that felt so familiar, and her mind went to the new transfer at Arcadia, appearing just a day before Azuth appeared.

But that wasn't possible, right? Sol had been in classes while Azuth was patrolling; she'd read the PHO post mentioning that Azuth was out on patrol while Sol was sitting next to Dennis.

But then, did Azuth not just say he could do anything?

It was just an idle suspicion and not one that she could act on, or would even want to, given the Unwritten Rules, but it dug deep into her brain as she nodded to him.

"It's worse when the Rollerz are holding their races, but yeah," Vicky agreed, making him hum.

"What if I could stop it? Or, at the very least, mitigate the worst of it?" Azuth asked, making her blink. "Would that be worth empowering the 'villains'?"

"What- how? Aside from taking down all the Rollerz, I don't see anything stopping their constant racing," Vicky admitted, making him smile.

"Oh, I don't want to stop it. I simply want to make it far more safe," Azuth explained, rubbing his chin. "Mad Moxxi invited me to their hangout, and I believe I need to have words with her. Care to join me?"

Well, she sure as fuck wasn't letting Azuth wander into a gang's turf by himself. The Rollerz had no real fighters beyond Overdrive's occasional tank, so she could take them if this became a fight.

"Sure, I've got your back," Vicky promised, an idea forming. Azuth was clearly desperate to stop something, even if she didn't know what that something was. It was pushing him to make dangerous decisions, like empowering Fenja. He needed someone to help guide him, someone to be the angel on his shoulder.

Maxine Hodunk (Mad Moxxi) –

She honestly hadn't expected Azuth to take her up on her offer, but here he was, walking into her bar with Glory Girl following behind, tense and jumpy as she looked around, ready to attack at the first sign of trouble.

"Over here, hon," Moxxi called, giving him a wave and a smile. "Take a seat. Can I get you a drink?"

"I'm fine, thank you," Azuth said, looking around with slightly wide eyes. He was definitely young, and the hedonism on full display around the bar had caught him off guard.

"I have to admit, I wasn't expecting you to actually show up. Good to know I can still be tempting when I want to be," Moxxi teased, leaning forward and giving them both a good, long look at her cleavage. "But I don't think you've come here for a drink or to take Overdrive up on her offer for a ride, have you? Not that we can't mix business and pleasure; I do all my best negotiating in bed."

Azuth didn't blush, but his reaction to her sultry teasing was obvious. She could see the slight twitch in his jaw, the way he averted his eyes from her chest, and she had to admit that it was satisfying. It wasn't often that she encountered someone who wasn't affected by her charms.

"No, I've come because the Rollerz are currently a problem, one I intend to fix," Azuth explained, making her stiffen up before she relaxed.

"Lots of guys thought they could fix me, sweetie; it never worked out well for them," Moxxi teased. He wasn't here to fight; she could tell that from his posture, and while her power didn't work on him, it did work on his bodyguard. The numbers didn't lie; Glory Girl wasn't going to pick a fight unless they posed a threat to Azuth. "But I can't say I've ever had a wizard want to use his magic touch on me before. Gonna put me over your lap and make me a good girl for you?"

Glory Girl's jaw clenched at her teasing and flirting, but Azuth couldn't hide the fact that he was a young man and enjoyed having an attractive older woman flirting with him.

"Not exactly; something tells me that that is beyond even my talents," Azuth shot back, making her laugh.
"I'm sure we'd both enjoy you trying. It's about the journey, not the destination," Moxxi flirted, running a finger along his chin as she leaned forward. A hand was pushed in front of her face, pushing her back as Glory Girl glared at her.

"Can we get to the point?" Glory Girl asked, making Azuth nod.

"The point is simple. I want in on your races, and I want to… elevate them to new heights," Azuth offered, making her pause and rub her chin. Glory Girl looked surprised, but Moxxi wasn't. Azuth liked his games, after all. She wasn't stupid; there was some reason Azuth did things the way he did; it was why she was convinced she could get him to team up with her.

He needed his games, and she did oh so love games. Both her races and the Thunderdome were proof of that.

"Consider me interested, honey. I think this is going to be the start of a mutually satisfying relationship," Moxxi said, listening as Azuth started to speak, her lips curling up into a wider smile at his offer.

Victoria Dallon (Glory Girl) –

She really wasn't sure what Azuth was planning when they came here, but if this worked, she had to admit it would have been worth it to make a deal with a villain, even one as minor as Moxxi.

From the VIP box, she looked over at the race track Azuth had just willed into existence in his little pocket dimension, the rainbow track that flew through space, defying gravity and physics in some parts.

"So, you can just click your fingers and make entire race courses?" Overdrive asked, giving Azuth an impressed look as Moxxi continued to play announcer for the race, cheering on Slipstream as she overtook another racer on her bike. She knew Slipstream used to be the Empire cape, Rune, and even Vicky couldn't deny that Slipstream had made a good decision, even if she'd gone from the worst gang to another, not quite as bad, one.

"It's not quite that simple," Azuth admitted, watching the race with an amused smile. "But effectively? Yes. Rainbow Road is a rather infamous one, so I was able to just conjure it as it was."

"Man, Uber and Leet are gonna be so fucking jealous. I might not play many games, but even I recognise Mario Kart," Overdrive admitted with a laugh, throwing an arm around Azuth's shoulder. "You do damn good work, wiz-kid."

Someone drove off the track, not slowing down enough for the turn, but much like Azuth had promised, the driver just returned to the track, his ride flashing briefly as he was easily overtaken by several other racers. This was what Azuth wanted.

If the Rollerz had far better places to race, they wouldn't be crashing nearly as much in Brockton Bay, and in this world of Azuth's, crashes weren't fatal; they just cost you your place in the race. Azuth had made a permanent portal to the race tracks and given Moxxi control of it, but he had also made his demands clear: if the Rollerz continued to cause so many crashes in the city, he'd remove this power and blacklist them.

Moxxi now had a very good reason to get her idiots under control.

"Purchasing new tracks will require energy, but I also get energy from the races themselves. As long as you guys keep your men under control and keep up the races, I'll slowly add more and more tracks to the options," Azuth explained, making Overdrive grin in anticipation.

Aztuh had also added a large 'city' map which he claimed was from Burnout Paradise, with plenty of race courses of varying length and difficulty, giving the Rollerz plenty of room to play around in. If this genuinely stopped them from driving like lunatics around the city itself, she'd have to admit that he was right about this plan.

She really didn't like the idea of negotiating with the villains, but the Rollerz were the least evil of the bunch.

"Hey, could you make a demolition derby arena?" Overdrive asked, making Azuth pause and rub his chin, his eyes seemingly focusing on something only he could see.

"I could, though I have already spent more energy today than I care to think," Azuth admitted, making Overdrive pout as she leaned over.

"Come on, do it for me?" Overdrive pouted, taking Azuth's hand and placing it right between her massive breasts. "It'd mean so much to me, and I'd be so grateful~"

"Oi, hands off the wizard," Vicky grumbled, pulling Azuth away from the amused villain.

"I will consider it once this venture has paid for itself," Azuth said, smiling softly. "And once the Rollerz have proven that they can be trusted to keep your part of the contract."

"Don't worry so much, Azzy," Moxxi purred, turning from the race with a smirk. "I can get my boys under control; they just need some discipline."

Her tone and the wicked grin on her face made Vicky roll her eyes. These two just wouldn't stop flirting with Azuth, and Azuth liked it. Great, now she had to worry about him being seduced by villains as well.

"Words are cheap, Madame Moxxi. Once you prove that you can get them under control, we can discuss elevating your Thunderdome in the same vein as your races," Azuth promised, making Moxxi curtsy mockingly.

"Of course, honey, you won't regret taking a chance on us. Why, if Miss Dallon weren't being such a spoilsport, I'd show you just how grateful I am right here and now," Moxxi purred, making Vicky roll her eyes.

"I'm not being a spoilsport; I'm trying to stop you two from talking Azuth into anything," Vicky retorted.

"Aww, don't be like that. You can join in as well if that's what you're pouting about; I can show you some things your little boyfriend never could," Overdrive teased, making Vicky turn to the slightly drunken villain with an angry retort on her lips.

Her lips, which were rapidly sealed by Overdrive leaning over Azuth to place a sloppy kiss on them, Vicky's eyes shooting open as Overdrive slipped her some tongue, pulling back with a gasp as Overdrive giggled. Azuth's eyes were wide, having had a front-row seat for the show.

"You-"

"Overdrive, behave," Moxxi scolded, making Overdrive shrug shamelessly as Vicky glared at the pair. "Relax, Glory, we're just having some fun. If Azzy wants to play a little, he doesn't need you holding his hand and making his decisions for him."

"I'm not making his decisions for him-" Vicky defended, hating how Moxxi's purred words made it sound like she was trying to control Azuth, her eyes wandering to where Overdrive was stroking Azuth's thighs. "And yes, I have a boyfriend, so don't kiss me you-"

"Then run back to him and stop being such a killjoy," Overdrive challenged, making her glare.

"Glory Girl, calm down. And I would appreciate it if you didn't sexually harass my friend, Overdrive," Aszuth said soothingly, making Overdrive giggle.

"Fine, fine. I was just trying to get the baby to lighten up a little," Overdrive admitted, her hand running up his thigh. "How about you, Azzy? Can I harass you?"

"I appreciate the offer, but I'm going to have to decline," Azuth said with a soft smile, making Vicky relax slightly. Azuth was a teenage boy, she was sure of it, and it would be far too easy for him to get honeypotted by villains, led around by the libido he was only pretending he didn't have.

Overdrive pouted, giving his thigh a squeeze before she pulled back.

"Fine, fine, just remember, the offer is open. Just give me a call anytime you want to go for a ride," the slutty Tinker flirted. "I don't mind you bringing some friends, but maybe next time, bring one that's less of a wet blanket."

Vicky just glowered at the slut, making Overdrive grin.

The race continued, and while Overdrive backed off somewhat with Azuth declining her offer for a ride, the pair of villains continued to tease, flash and flirt with Azuth as the race came to a close, Slipstream winning by a considerable margin.

Leaving the portal, they headed out into the bar with a frown as she checked her phone.

"Shit, I've gotta go. Sorry about the whole… arguing with the Rollerz thing," Vicky admitted, making Azuth smile softly as he conjured his own ride.

"It is fine, Vicky. Overdrive was trying to agitate you; I think she just found your reactions funny," Azuth admitted, making Vicky roll her eyes. "Things ended peacefully enough, and should the fates be in our favour, the constant crashes and reckless driving should at least be mitigated somewhat."

"If this ends with me seeing fewer car crashes, it'll have been worth it," Vicky admitted. "I still don't think you should have empowered Fenja, but this wasn't a terrible idea. Even if I ended up getting frenched by a drunk villain."

"Overdrive is certainly… forward," Azuth agreed, looking back at the bar as they left. "We shall see how this goes, but I have a good feeling about this."

How much of that feeling was because of the two older cougars that were trying to talk him into their beds?

Saying goodbye, she answered the texts from her mom as she set off, watching Azuth do the same. She half expected him to go back in, but she watched the outline of his black Chocobo flying through the night sky away from Moxxi's bar.

If he really was Solomon, he lived near her with Dr Ziegler. Hm, he was going the wrong way for that, but she still wasn't convinced that she was mistaken. The villains were trying to honeypot him, but maybe she could beat them to the punch. Obviously, she was taken, but Amy wasn't, and she'd seen the looks her sister had sent his way. Flying home, she started scheming.

Solomon White (Azuth) –

Flying Azuth into the cloud layer, I de-summon him with a flash, making it look like he teleported away as I open my eyes, laying in bed. Funnily enough, I see Vicky land on the street, just a bit further down the road, not two minutes later.

She does look towards my house, spotting me leaning against the windowsill and waving at me as she goes inside, which I return casually.

I am officially drained. My points are now non-existent; my pool is empty. Still, this is another source of income, and it feels right. Getting the street races off the streets should help make the city just a little bit safer and as long as they race, they'll be granting me points. It'll pay for itself in time, and this time, I don't feel like there are any major downsides beyond my temporary point drought.

Moxxi has gained the power to control where the portals go, but only to my various race courses; she can't get into any other part of my pocket dimension; there's no harm in letting them race in my backyard. The Rollerz also deal in gambling, but the audiences can get into the stands in my pocket dimension to watch the races, and it's far more interesting to see people race on tracks that have zero-g sections and jumps rather than just race around the streets.

I can call upon Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit if they miss the experience of being chased, but only once they've made it worth my investment. Same with Moxxi's Thunderdome. She holds tournaments of her own, often bloody and dangerous, where both capes and more mundane fighters can battle it out for wealth and glory to an adoring and gambling crowd. Putting the next Thunderdome inside the Arena where I held my first tournament would allow me to use the same rules I used for my tourney to keep the audience and competitors nice and safe. With safety guaranteed, the fights could become far more brutal for the bloodthirsty audience, which again would give me another source of income.

Angela is right; I'm trying to do too much myself, and turning Moxxi into a sort of manager for both fights and races would give me a very good passive source of points. Once it pays itself off, I could even offer prizes myself to entice more people to come and take part.

Checking my notifications, I hesitate as I see a PM from Overdrive on PHO, opening it to find a picture of both her and Moxxi sprawled out on a bed, utterly nude, as they smirk at the camera.

'Shame Glory Girl is such a killjoy; otherwise, this bed could have a couple more occupants. Guess we'll have to celebrate alone~'

'Perhaps we can celebrate another time, Overdrive.'

I respond before I can stop myself, mentally sighing at the tightness in my pants. Overdrive takes that as an invitation to send more pictures of the celebration, along with a straight-up sex tape, but I don't respond as that would just encourage her even more.

My stomach grumbles, as eating as Azuth doesn't fill my body, and while I could conjure more food (Angela has a small selection of drinks from Tamriel in the fridge), I think I want something a little more modern for dinner.

Heading downstairs, I wonder if the universe is taunting me as I discover something very interesting.

Angela does yoga to help keep her figure. As for how I discover this? My eyes linger on her very tight yoga pants as she goes through the movements in the middle of the living room, a small mat under her as she stretches and bends.

She doesn't notice me for a moment, and as she finally turns around, her eyes widen slightly at seeing me watching her, my face burning. This is not a problem I foresaw when I was looking at the many challenges in front of me.

"Ah, Sol! Your patrol went well?" Angela asks, taking a break from her stretches as I nod. She, mercifully, doesn't mention my staring or the tightness in my trousers.

"If all goes well, I've just slashed the number of car accidents in Brockton Bay," I say, making her beam.

"Ah, the Rollerz?" Angela says, giving me a proud smile. "Tell me everything."

Guiding me to take a seat, she pushes me for details as I explain my plan, seeing her nod calmly. I very much try not to look at the tank top and yoga pants she's wearing, and she genuinely seems pleased with my latest plan.

"The Rollerz are fools, but you can't stop kids from doing reckless things; believe me I've tried," Angela teases, making me chuckle slightly. "This Moxxi cannot affect the rest of your world?"
"No. All she can do is open portals for the racers to go through; I automated the races, and she has no real power in my realm. The permanent portal leads to the stands and pits, but there is no way to physically move from them to anywhere else in my realm," I explain, making her nod.

"Then you're right, this should help Brockton Bay. I'm proud of you, Solomon," Angela says softly. "Turning the riders from accidents waiting to happen into a source of points was a good move."

I can't deny that I relaxed slightly at her words because she really is the angel on my shoulder. If she approves, I haven't fucked up… again.

"Have you spoken to Jack?" Angela asks, making me shake my head.

"I can sense him and the points his patrols have already started to grant me. He took offence to some Empire skinheads trying to rob a store and took them all down in less than a minute," I explain, making her laugh fondly. "He was gone before the PRT could show up, and he didn't use his pulse rifle, so they don't know if he is a cape or just some military-trained man who took offence to the Empire causing trouble. He's still investigating suspicious deaths, looking for the killer I unleashed."
"Why am I not surprised he got into trouble on the first day?" Angela sighs, rubbing her head. "Trust that he'll find the killer. He is very good at his job, even if Vivian and Ana were better detectives."

"I plan to summon them both in time," I admit, making her nod. "It's just logical. The stacking discount for Overwatch Heroes is too tempting to not take advantage of, and we could use all the help we can get. Ana might be a little problematic; she does shoot people with nanobots, after all."

Angela sighs, rubbing her forehead for a moment.

"Nanobiotics, but very true. I told them not to use my technology like that, but did Torbjörn listen? Of course not," Angela sighs. "I doubt the PRT would approve of my nanobiotics, no matter how safe they are to use. Unlike Tinkers, I actually understand my technology," Angela boasts jokingly, making me snort. She's not wrong. "I never did get to use my technology to revolutionise the medical industry; beyond my staff, it just got shelved after the Omnic crisis."

"Maybe we could have Dragon examine them? But it comes with risks… your world's technology is obscenely advanced, and unlike Tinkertech, it can be mass-produced. You'd also have to take up the mantle of Mercy again," I say, making her nod.

"I plan to. For Endbringer attacks, if nothing else. This world needs more heroes, and I'm sure we can find a way to prevent Mercy from being linked to me. Ah, this superhero nonsense is far more irritating than I expected; we never really bothered with secret identities in Overwatch," Angela admits. I could buy a new skin for her; they aren't that expensive, but they tend to have her face exposed. That wouldn't be that hard to fix; I could even give her a minor shapeshifting power to hide her features better.

A sudden influx of points makes me blink, examining the source with a confused frown. Oh. Solider 76 just took down Victor; he really doesn't like Nazis, does he? Mouse Protector is in a fight with Hookwolf, but she's kinda just teleporting around him and making fun of him, and it looks like he's going to have to flee. Fenja and Menja are on the way to support him, but the PRT are on the way to help MP.

Uber is experimenting with her new power, Bitch is overjoyed at being able to talk with her dogs, and Weld is undergoing a million tests with the PRT.

This is what I wanted, what I needed. The more capes I have affected, and the more champions I have summoned, the faster my points will increase. I need to snowball, and fast.

My stomach rumbles, making Angela giggle and decide that we should have some takeout, ordering us Chinese food as we move on to talking about less serious things, my mind going over my options to speed up the snowball even further.

It isn't that long until we're eating and watching some sci-fi show Angela apparently likes, and I can't deny that the relaxation does help. The constant sight of Mercy in yoga pants does not.

But she's right. I'm the Game Master; I need to focus on letting my summons and those I've blessed do the point-gathering. Destressing a little, I say goodnight to Angela as the show finishes (after washing the dishes, it'd be rude to leave all the chores to her) and head back upstairs, lying down in thought.

Mercy being at Endbringer attacks could change a lot, as she still has her original 'ultimate' in this form. She can mass resurrect the recently dead with a wave of her hand. That kind of thing is going to get worldwide attention, so it'll help if we can disguise that she's coming from Brockton Bay and have them looking elsewhere for her.

Going over my system options, I pause for a moment as I sit up straight. Would that work?

Some searching through options tells me that… yes, yes, it would. I have already unlocked Mercy, after all. Just like I can summon two fire elementals, what is stopping me from summoning two Mercys?

The one I have is based on the Dr. Ziegler skin, but there is nothing stopping me from summoning Witch Mercy or Winged Victory Mercy to fight in Endbringer battles. Unlike in the game, the skins can make a lot of difference. Witch Mercy doesn't use nanobiotics; she's using actual magic. Winged Mercy is at least partially divine, but there's one that stands out.

Given that I have already unlocked Mercy, any future Mercy's are considerably cheaper, and one strikes me as more powerful than all the others. One that was less hesitant to take risks.

The Mirrorwatch Universe Mercy, Vengeance. The Angela Ziegler who took over Talon and led it to fight for a world where she alone controlled life and death. In that world, all the good guys are bad, and the bad guys are good,

I can't afford her, not yet, but as I said, Mercy is powerful. Vengeance is even more so, not just a field agent but the main villain of the Mirrorwatch world. It'd be fine; she'd be under my control, and it would help separate Angela Ziegler from Mercy (or Vengeance) since she could be at her hospital while 'Mercy' saves lives elsewhere, just like what I'm doing with Azuth.

Still, there's one thing I know for sure. Fixing my pants to better hide my erection, I sigh. Having Angela around is a test of my self-control because there is nothing but my own morality stopping me from ordering her to take care of this mess.

It wouldn't be that bad, but Glory Girl was determined to cock-block me, and Moxxi and Overdrive's offer was very tempting. Nobody mentioned that being a hero came with this particular problem.

Shit, maybe I should find a cheap but hot summon? I could make some minor personality adjustments to them to make them very easy or completely in love with me. No, Sol, bad, points are for fighting Scion, not getting your dick wet.

….although, Angela did say I needed to relax more, right?

Bonus Scene — Samantha (Uber)

"Oh, come on! Now he's even doing Mario Kart? He's totally stealing our act," Charlotte complained, making Sam giggle. "Shit, does the kart still work?"
"Nah, we crashed it during the race stream, remember? You drove it into a wall," Sam reminded her, making Leet groan.

"Ah yeah, I thought the Lakitu bot would stop me," Charlotte admitted, scowling. "We have to get an in with Azuth; what do the Rollerz have that we don't?"
"Money? Minions? Massive tits?" Sam guessed, making Charlotte snort.

"You think Moxxi fucked Azuth?"
"I think she tried, not sure if the wonderful wizard of Brockton would go for it. You're right, though; we need to get in on this shit and fast. I wanna ride a Chocobo, damnit, who knows what else Azuth could summon," Sam agreed, leaning back with a frown. She loved her new power, obviously, but Charlotte was getting increasingly desperate to have Azuth 'fix' her power, and she was honestly worried that Leet was going to do something reckless if things didn't change.

Author's Note: When Vicky is the voice of reason and the conscience, something has gone terribly wrong.

I also set up a Subscribe Star as well, more or less just as a backup/test to see which I prefer. The chapters are available on Discord if you're a Patreo n and on the site directly on Subscribe Star due to the different site rules, so if you don't use Discord or have issues finding the chapters, Subscribe Star is the better choice.

The Advance Chapters

Diamond: The Celestial Professor Ch04, The Gambler Ch14, The Illusive Mage Ch08, The Supervillain Ch28

Plat: Guide to Conquest Ch09, The Cursed Ch05, Sorcerer's Legacy Ch09

Gold: The Planeswalker Ch09, The Nightmare Ch14

Basic: The Celestial Professor Ch03

The Game Master Ch08

Quest: The Celestial Roulette Ch23-26, The Celestial Inquisitor Ch01

I have a Discord server with a bunch of other authors and a load of porn. So much porn.

Here's the link for that: discord .gg/DarkWolfShiro

If it says it's expired, it is probably your account being unable to join NSFW servers, and you'll need to fix that. If you fix that and it still says it's expired, add me (DarkWolfShiro), and I'll invite you myself.
