Amber was resting when she heard a light knock on the door. "Come in." Ebony came into the room that Bray and Amber shared. Ebony's face was filled with different emotions, sadness, fear, grief and longing. Amber noticed. "Ebony, what's wrong?" "Amber," Ebony began. "You know Lex and Bray went to the car park to try to find a car to transport food and water?" "Yes...What happened?" "The car exploded, with both Bray and Lex in it." Amber gasped. Ebony kept going. "We found Lex, he had got out fast enough, but we couldn't find Bray..." Amber was staring across the room. "Ebony I would like to be alone for a minute." "Amber I am so sorry." Ebony left the room. When she closed the door Amber fell back down on the bed, she was alone, she was pregnant and alone. She cried herself to sleep.
