58So this is the post Edolas arc I'm going to be skipping the whole exceed bit and get to Lisana explaining herself and what's going down in Edolas, let's dive on in
Chp 20: Home
After the flashing lights died down the group found themselves in a pile after landing on the ground in the pouring rain. Unfortunately poor juvia found herself at the bottom with Happy and Carla on top.
"Did the spell work, are we finally home?" Asked Cana.
Wendy took a whiff of the air before tasting it. "Yes that's quality earthland air alright we're back home." She said joyously.
Happy slumped on his back letting out a breath of relief. "Oh finally I could go for a yummy fishy right now."
"You got the right idea Haps I could go for a meal right now myself." Added Zodie. Everybody chuckled before they noticed Gajeel looked tense.
"Gajeel what's wrong what're you doing." Juvia asked.
"No no he ain't here, that furball lied."
"Dude, who're you talking about?" Elfman asked.
"My cat lily."
"Lily?" Asked Happy.
"He means the brawny exceed that was shot." Zodie answered.
"You people blind , I'm right here." Said a voice, they all turned their heads to see it was in fact panther Lilly only now he was tiny and cute looking even.
"Wow, he's so tiny." Said Wendy.
"How'd this happen? Looks like you lost weight last we saw you." Mirajane said.
"Unfortunately it seems my large form isn't suitable for earth-land." Spoke Lily.
"And does that particularly bother you?" Carla asked.
Lily shrugged his shoulders. "Well normally it would but right now I want to join the guild who took care of my close friend."
"Is he talking about Jellal?" Wendy asked.
The black exceed pointed at Gajeel. "You promised you said you'd get me in Gajeel, can you."
The iron dragon grinned before grabbing the exceed into a hug as he cried comical tears. "You got it buddy, welcome to fairy tail." Juvia looked on with a smile seeing one of her closest friends who's usually gruff and a loner finally is happy with a companion that understands him.
"Ok gang, let's move this party somewhere else like the guild hall and have drinks all around." Said Cana.
"Hang on, we still need to address the elephant in the room." Mirajane spoke up. Everyone turned to look at Lissanna Natsu and Happy were the ones who were anxious for answers along with Elfman who looked as though he was on the verge of tears.
"A…are you really our Lisanna?" Asked Natsu.
"If so then how're you even alive?" Happy asked.
"I…saw you leave us with our own eye's." Mira asked on the verge of tears.
"Well you see… I didn't die that day."
Flash back 2 years ago
Lisanna had just been assaulted by Elfman in his uncontrollable beast form and was being held by a distraught Mirajane. Unbeknownst to her a small white hole was forming in the sky and her sister's body began to glow which she now noticed.
"L…LISSANA WHAT'S HAPPENING WHY'RE YOU GLOWING! WHAT'S HAPPENIG?" The youngest Strauss sibling began to float up in the sky. "NO WHERE'RE YOU GOING, DON'T LEAVE ME PLEASE." It was no use soon Lissanas body had completely vanished.
"At that moment I was being pulled by an anima, I guess there were alot of them all over earthland back then."
Lisanna then woke up in Edolas. "Wow h…how am I still alive?" She asked. She began to walk around before she stumbled upon the Edolas fairy tail guild. "Wow the guild hall looks different."
She made her way inside and saw so many familiar faces. "Everyone I had known was there Natsu Gray Nab, but what told me that things were different was.
"Lis lis." Edolas Erza ran up to Lissana and hugged her which caught the youngest Strauss sibling off guard because this definitely wasn't the Erza she knew.
What really sealed the deal was seeing the Edolas version of her siblings." Lisana you've come back to us." Edolas Elfman said.
"W…we thought we'd never see you again." Said Edolas Mira.
"I was beyond confused til I finally started to get it. I was sent here to fill a void because of the death of that world's Lisanna." She was embraced by both her Edolas siblings. "I could'nt bring myself to say anything so I began to play along."
Flash back end
The group was beyond shocked, especially Mira Elfman along with Natsu and Happy, Elfman grabbed them both and held them up. "Did you two know it was here before me and Mira came here!" He glared.
"Wow dude ease up we didn't know till later on." Natsu spoke before Elfman released them. The salamander walked up to his friend and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Look after what you went through, there's no need to explain yourself. He then pulled her into a hug. "The important thing is your back now."
"Oh Natsu." Lisanna cried out returning the hug, Mira and Elfman then joined in on the hug as well. The others looked on with smiles on their faces from the warm moment, even Gajeel found himself with a grin.
"Okay people let's move this reunion on our way home." Said Cana.
Edolas Royal city
It had been a day since the destruction of the city; townsfolk were repairing any damages necessary to the city. Despite them losing magic they were all in a positive mood about it; though they weren't too keen on their precious city being damaged by those would be demons.
"Geez we're gonna need a ton of bricks for this mess." Said a citizen.
"Ya think I mean look at the damage, those demons caused, geez this'll take forever."
"Come on it could be worse, I mean the whole city could be in ruins if our prince hadn't stopped them."
Outskirts
"Are you kidding me right now!" Bellowed Edolas Lucy as she spoke with Levy.
"Do I look like I'm kidding, as you know all the magic power is gone so we can't use the teleporter to move the guild hall."
"Oh man you saying we have to haul the guild to the city?" Asked Edolas Macao.
"Like it or not we're going to have to."
The male members started bellyaching and whining. "I might have a solution." Spoke slayer or rather Edolas Natsu; after his introduction many members were a bit skeptical about him but Edolas Zodie stepped in to vouch for him. He told them how he wasn't too different from him and that eventually they all trusted him.
Edolas Natsu rode atop of a legion and it pulled the guild all the way to the royal city. "Simple problem, simple solution," he said with a small grin."
Edolas Lucy was quite impressed. "Huh not bad, guess it'll be a good thing to have this guy around." All the other members were catching some r inside enjoying tea.
"Oh man it's nice that we're no longer being hunted, and under the rule of the new king Edolas is going to be much more pleasant." Edolas Cana commented while sipping tea.
Edolas Zodie enjoyed himself some tea whilst Wendy sat on his lap enjoying each other's company. She noticed a look of disdain on his face and grew worried for her lover. "Babe is something bothering you." He looked up at her. "Is this all about losing magic power?"
"Kind of I mean I'm going to miss flying I won't lie, but." He held onto her hands giving Wendy a sense of warmth. "This I've missed most of all my family, and especially you."
"Oh geez will you two get a room already." Lucy groaned comically.
"Don't you two listen to each other and never be ashamed to express your love like me and my beautiful bodacious buckaroo here." Edolas Alzack said.
Edolas Erza climbed to the top of Zodies head. "Hey big bro what about me, didn't you miss me?" He responded by patting her head. "Of course you're my little red, buddy."
Suddenly they came to an abrupt stop making some members fall out of their seats. Zodie was able to safely grab both Wendy and Erza.
"What the hell, why'd we stop?" Edolas Jet asked.
Natsu came inside. "Ok sorry guys but ole girl is a bit exhausted and she went right to sleep." He explained much to the members' dismay. "Looks like we're gonna have to haul this thing the rest of the way."
"WHAT, FOR REAL1" The men exclaimed distraught.
"You heard him get your asses out there and haul this thing." Levy ordered. As the men were heading out Gray turned to them. "Uh excuse me ladies but are you going to help?" This earned him a slap from Edolas Juvia which he loved. "How rude asking delicate maidens like us to help."
"WHAT DELICATE MAIDENS, WELL MOST OF YOU MAYBE!"
"Hey hold on, why isn't Zodie helping?" Nab asked, irritated.
Edolas Wendy shot the men a glare. "Because my Zodie spent the last few months locked and tortured by those royal guard ass hats and he more than anyone deserves some time to relax." She planted a peck on his cheek. "And I'm never letting him go again." Edolas Erza came up and hugged him from the back. "Yeah me neither."
Edolas Zodie only chuckled. "Sorry fellas."
The men cried in dismay. "You traitor!"
Some time later
"Nice work boys! We made it." Edolas Lucy exclaimed victoriously as the guild hall was now positioned in the royal city with the guys except Edolas Natsu lying on the ground.
"Zodie your dead man you hear me." whined Edolas Gray.
The citizens took notice of their presence.
"Wow, is this part of the new remodeling of the city?"
All the ladies of the guild minus Wendy began drawing the attention of the citizens. "Hey, the people of the royal city were fairy tail." Greeted Lucy.
"For the first time ever we are here to offer you our service." Said Bisca.
"Any issues you may have we can solve." Edolas Juvia announced.
"So step right up we have a special for our grand opening so act now." Announced Edolas Erza with a cute little wink.
Less than a second dozens of townspeople gathered all around filled with excitement finally happy to have some help.
"Amazing."
"Think you can help me repair my roof?"
"We'd love to!" The girls cheered with hearts floating around them.
"Are you broads crazy? We can't do any of that crap." Whined the men.
Unbeknownst to the group Edolas Wendy and Zodie snuck away holding hands for their secret date, Zodie looked back at the guild. "Shouldn't we at least stay to help them?" He spoke feeling bad for the guys.
"Oh they'll be fine besides we've got tons of catching up to do." She spoke flirtatiously with hearts in her eyes. "I've been itching to get you alone with me, I'm gonna make your toes start speaking in sign language." She whispered seductively in his ear.(Sorry don't know how to talk sexy)
Edolas Zodie scooped her up and carried his lover in bridal style. 'Oh younger me is going to have himself one hell of a time.'
Earthland-Fairy tail guild
The entire Edolas group returned and they were all shocked to see long and unseen faces there with them. All were shocked to see Lisanna now wearing herself some new clothes. They ran over to her for a group hug but Elfman intervened by punching them with his bare arm. The youngest Strauss sibling felt so warm with the welcome, if one could call it that, Makarov walked over and welcomed her back with warm arms. She was so grateful she tackled him into a tight hug. Erza and Gray then walked up but the ice wizard was grasped by Juvia crying frantically.
"Oh my beloved I will forever miss Edolas you but nothing fares in comparison to you! My icy hunk."
"What the crap are you talking about, and what's Edolas?"
"Where have you been, Lisanna exactly?" Erza came up asking."
The guild decided to throw a welcome back party in honor of Lisanna where they talked about their wild adventure.
"Wow, hold on, back up. There's another world out there called Edolas and we're all in it with alternate personalities?" Gray asked.
"Yep." Zodie chuckled. "It was like looking in a funhouse mirror." Said Wendy.
"What were we like?" Erza asked curiously.
Natsu grinned like a devil. "You were actually a little girl the exact age as Wendy, and Gray here couldn't stand the thought of taking off his clothes."
"The hell are you saying I never do that."
"Dude your clothes come on, not in front of the kid Gray." Said Cana.
"Oh crap!"
"Hey you guys, what was I like, Lucy asked, walking over."
"Lucy, believe it or not you were vulgar and aggressive. She butted heads with Levy like Gray and Natsu do."
"Geez Z you make it sound like I'm some sort of monster."
"Hence the name why the guy's in town call you the blonde beast." Natsu snickered.
That earned a plate being thrown at him by the blonde zodiac wielder. "Oh yeah and what exactly were you like in Edolas huh, guy's do tell."
"Oh well Natsu was a night known as the slayer, he was brain manipulated into attacking the Edolas fairy tail by their king." Wendy said.
"Hold on, Pyro here was an enemy of the guild?" Gray asked surprisingly.
"What a shocking revelation," Erza said.
It was quiet for a moment till Gajeel came in bombarding though some tables. "Oi salamander I got a wager I bet your puny cat will get crushed by my lily."
"Oh yeah wanna bet!"
As the two dragons butted heads Makarov caught the attention of Zodie. "Say Zodie now i'm curious with all this talk about alternate people, what was I like?
"Well…now that U think about it his voice was similar to yours actually, yeah master you were the king actually."
Makarov's bulged in shock. "A king?"
"Aye and you weren't really nice either, also he was taller and actually wasn't balding plus he didn't look near as o-." Before Happy could finish, Zodie covered his mouth.
"What Happy is trying to say is that you were a better man than he ever was."
"So Z what was I like, let me guess a knight, or a general?" Inquired Gildarts.
"Well actually there wasn't anyone there who looked like you."
"Yeah maybe you were a woman and we didn't notice, an ugly woman at that." Happy spoke up.
"Hey, not funny cat." Gildarts complained.
"Yeah what's your damage for real." Zodie said.
Soon a fight had erupted for reasons unknown except that it was fairy tail, and things like this always happen in fairy tail. "Happy, don't you like being in a guild?"
"Aye sir."
The young phoenix slayer leaped into the fray and grabbed Natsu in headlock and their mindless brawl went on for hours till everybody fainted or was knocked unconscious. The next morning Lisanna had stirred awake and found herself snuggled up with her two siblings. She looked around to see the guild a wreck and everyone passed out on the floor sleeping peacefully. "Oh man, I've missed this." His eyes then fell upon Natsu snoring like a bear with Happy laying on his face. "But most of all I've really missed you guys." The youngest Strauss sibling planted a kiss on both Natsu and Happy before she took the exceed in her arms and scooted close to Natsu resting her head on his shoulder. "It feels good to be home."
I decided to cut out the part where Jellal establishes his palace as the new king as well, Wanted to get the Edolas arc finished so I can get to the next arc I'm working on. Won't get into spoilers but it'll include Lisanna so till next time peace.
