Hi everyone, so everyone's ages/age ranges are mixed up in this, but it's not real, just an alternate reality for a few chapters.

Chapter 97- What If- Part 1
Felicia watched as Kevin and Mac hopped on the elevator to return to the blood lab. When she turned, she noticed Alexis sitting in the waiting room, her face pale, eyes blotchy, and staring off into space. Though she was anxious to check on Georgie and Esme, Felicia walked over to her.
"Alexis…." She touched her shoulder. "I heard about Sam. I am so sorry."
Alexis' eyes moved to her. "I know you mean well. But if I hear the words 'I'm sorry' again, I might throw something."
Felicia nodded. "I understand. Is there anyone I can call for you?"
"I'm waiting to speak to Jordan and Dr. Randalph about my daughter's missing body. They don't normally have meetings at this time of night, but I demanded to see them."
"Missing body?"
"Sam's body has gone missing," Alexis said. "I want to know how and why." She looked at Felicia. "I'm recovering and my daughter is dead. My breathing is better, but my daughter breathed her last. Parents aren't supposed to bury their children. How am I supposed to do it? How am I supposed to live in a world without my daughter in it?"
Felicia swallowed hard. "Just keep moving forward. One minute at a time."
"And what do I do in this minute? When all I can do is think about what if… what if I kept Sam. What if I raised her. What if none of this happened."
Lucy got off the elevator but stayed out of sight listening to them.
"I've played the what if game for years," Felicia said. "What if I told Mac about my baby. What if I never lost Frankie. What if I knew Georgie was alive. What if I did it all differently."
Lucy placed a hand over her heart.
"I know Esme is your daughter…" Alexis said. "But what she did to Spencer…."
Felicia cleared her throat. "You are grieving, so I don't want to get into this right now."
"I just wish…." Alexis sighed. "I wish that Sam was here. I wish she was a little girl and I could be raising her, the way it was supposed to be."
Felicia reached for her hand. "I wish the same thing. I wish that I never lost Georgie or Frankie and that they could've grown up together with Maxie. I wish we were together all along."
"Me too." They looked up to see Nina standing there crying. "I wish I was never in a coma and I wish my mother never stole my twins. I wish I could've raised Willow and Nelle."
Alexis' face went rigid. She slowly rose, her chest puffing. "Don't you EVER mention my daughter's murderer in front of me AGAIN."
"Alexis, I…" Nina cried. "I wish the same as both of you. I wish I could go back in time."
Lucy pulled out her old pocket watch and opened it.
"I wish I could have my daughters with me always," Felicia, Alexis, and Nina said at the same time.
Lucy turned the hands in her watch. The lights went out and the room shook.
GHGHGH
Felicia heard the pattering of feet, then something plopped on top of her. There was a groan next to her. She realized she was at home in bed.
"What time is it?" Mac mumbled.
"Mommy," said a small voice, and the small something crawled up her chest. "I had a bad dream. I'm scared."
Felicia reached over and switched on the lamp. Light spilled from it revealing the face of a four-year-old girl with long brown hair and brown eyes barely an inch away from her own face.
"Aww Frankie, you had another bad dream?" Mac asked, sitting up.
Felicia glanced over at Mac—20 years younger, then back to Frankie. Her heart sped up and she sat up straight, looking Frankie over. "F—Frankie? I don't understand."
"The monster gonna take me away from you," Frankie said.
Felicia started crying and held her close.
"But remember Daddy checked under your bed and in your closet to make sure there were no monsters?" Mac said.
"Ace is scared too," Esme said.
"Ace?" Felicia scrunched her face. "Ace is here too?"
Frankie held up a stuffed horse. "Uh huh. He wants snuggles too."
They heard stomping down the hallway and 11-year-old Maxie burst into the room. "FRANKIE! I saw you sneak into my room again! What did you do with my beads?"
"Maxie?" Felicia said. "Please don't scream at your sister."
"She took my beads," Maxie said.
Frankie rested her head on Felicia's shoulder. "I need them. They're magic beads to scare away the monster."
Maxie groaned. "You guys always let her get away with everything. You only punish me and Cody when we mess up."
Felicia raised an eyebrow. "Cody?"
"And Georgie never messes up," Maxie continued. "But just because Frankie is the baby she never gets in trouble." She looked at Frankie. "They aren't magic beads. They're MY beads and I want them back!"
Mac sighed "That's not true, Maxie. We might have bigger punishments for you and Cody but that's because you're older. You got the same level of punishments as Frankie when you were her age. And Frankie will get the same punishments as you and Cody when she gets bigger. He looked at Frankie. "You don't need the magic beads, sweetie. We won't let any monster hurt you. But you can't take things from your sister without asking."
Felicia shook her head but looked down at Frankie snuggling close to her.
"But I left my cow on Maxie's bed just like Jack," Frankie said.
"Jack?" Maxie scrunched up her face. "What are you talking about? I don't want your stupid cow. I want my beads!"
"Do you mean Jack and the Beanstalk-Jack?" Mac asked. "From the story we read last night, sweetie?"
"Uh huh." Frankie nodded very seriously. "Beads are magic."
"BEANS not BEADS!" Maxie said. "And it's just a story. They're not really magic."
Mac sighed. "Why don't we go get the beads and give them back to Maxie? And Mommy and Daddy can double check that there are no monsters in your room."
"M-Mac…" Felicia gulped. "I need to talk to you… but… I don't want to let go of Frankie." She kissed the top of her head.
Maxie rolled her eyes. "You have Mom and Dad wrapped right around your finger, don't you, Frankie?"
"Maxie, that's enough." Mac climbed out of bed. "Let's sort out this beads business, then we can chat before breakfast."
Felicia stood up and balanced Frankie on her hip. "Okay…."
A 13-year-old blond kid stepped in the doorway and rubbed his eyes. "Why is there so much yelling this morning?"
Maxie pointed to Frankie. "Ask HER!"
"Good morning, Cody," Mac said. "Your sisters are having another dispute."
Felicia smiled at him. "Hi Cody."
Frankie looked at Cody. "We're giving Maxie back the magic beads."
"They're NOT magic!" Maxie said.
Mac ruffled Cody's already messy hair. "You might as well join us, bud."
Cody winked at Maxie as they headed down the hallway. "Sure, they're magic. You just have to have a good imagination which clearly you are lacking or maybe it fell off when you woke up on the wrong side of the bed."
Maxie looked at Mac. "See? EVERYONE always takes her side!"
They walked into Frankie's pink bedroom and where they found thousands of coloured beads scattered all over the floor, on her bed, dresser, windowsill, and every flat surface.
"Uh... Frankie, you put them everywhere?" Mac asked.
Felicia chuckled and tickled Frankie. "Oh boy, sweetheart. This will take a while to clean up."
Frankie laughed.
"Dang, why do you need so many beads anyway, Maxie?" Cody asked.
Maxie gawked at them all. "Frankie could rob a bank and you'd still blame me for it! UGH!" She gritted her teeth, then picked up Frankie's stuffed frog and hurled it at Frankie's face.
Frankie burst into tears.
Felicia looked at Maxie sternly. "Maxie, that was uncalled for. You need to apologize now." She kissed Frankie and wiped away her tears. "It's okay baby, I got you."
"I was just kidding Maxie, geez take a joke," Cody said. "And Frankie is little."
Maxie crossed her arms. "I'll apologize if Frankie apologizes to me first."
"Maxie's a meanie," Frankie said.
"Okay sweetie, you should have asked Maxie first before you took her beads. And Maxie, we do not throw things at someone else," Felicia said. "I think you both can tell each other you're sorry and give each other a hug, okay?" Felicia kissed Frankie's head again and set her down. Everyone will help you pick up the beads."
"I'm sorry, Maxie," Frankie said.
"Sorry Frankie," Maxie mumbled, then begrudgingly hugged Frankie.
"Okay, you kids start cleaning, I need to talk to Mac in the hallway…." She ran her fingers through Frankie's hair and prodded Mac to the hallway. "I—I don't understand. I was in the waiting room talking to Alexis and Nina, then I wake up here and we have Frankie… but… wait, where's Georgie?"
"The waiting room?" Mac asked. "What happened?... Georgie must still be sleep—no wait. I see a light on downstairs. She must be setting the table for breakfast again."
Felicia peeked into the bedroom to see Frankie climbing up on the bed and closing her eyes while Cody and Maxie picked up beads off the floor.
"You don't remember? Georgie developed hypoglycemia from Victor and the Harells starving her," Felicia explained. "And Frankie jumped out the window with Ace to escape Nelle, and then—"
"What? Nelle as in Nina's daughter? The Harells are long out of our lives. We better help the kids or they'll be late for school, and poor Georgie will probably have breakfast ready if we take too long again."
She watched him join the kids in tidying up the beads.
"Well, at least one of us got back to sleep," Mac said.
"So that's just it, is it?" Maxie stopped picking them up. "Frankie makes this huge mess and gets to sleep while the rest of us clean it up?"
Felicia covered Frankie with a blanket. "She's little and needs her rest, honey. She didn't know any better and it won't take much longer to clean up."
"This isn't fair," Maxie said.
Felicia picked up some beads from the dresser and put them into a cup.
"Okay, I think we got most of them," Mac said after a while. "We better go down for breakfast."
Frankie sat up. "I want chocolate chip pancakes."
"Oh, now she's awake," Maxie grumbled.
"I don't know, Frankie," Mac said scooping her up in his arms and carrying her to the stairs. "Chocolate chip pancakes is more of a weekend breakfast. I don't think we'll have time to make them before school."
"I don't want to go to school," Frankie said.
Felicia scratched her chin and followed them downstairs.
8-year-old Georgie was setting the table and putting out Shreddies and Cookie Crisps.
Mac set Frankie down in her booster seat. "Aww Georgie girl, you don't need to do this every day."
"But I like to because I love all of you," Georgie said.
Felicia hugged her. "Hi sweetie."
Frankie pushed over the box of Shreddies and started crying. "I don't want Shreddies. I want cookies."
Cody poured her some Cookie Crisps. "Here you go, sis. Oh look. There's a toy inside." He handed Frankie the tiny stuffed puppy.
Felicia sat down beside Frankie and glanced at them all.
Frankie giggled and ran the puppy up her mom's arm. "I want a real puppy."
Maxie sat up straighter, interested to see how her parents respond to Frankie's latest request.
"Oh, you do, do you?" Mac asked and looked at the newspaper. "Well, your mom and I have talked about getting a family dog. I think it's the right time."
Georgie's face lit up. "Really?"
"Sweet," Cody said.
Frankie clapped her hands. "Yay! A puppy! I wanna call her Frankie."
Maxie's mouth dropped slightly and she slammed her spoon down. "Seriously? I've been begging to get a dog for years. Frankie just asks once and suddenly it's the right time to get one?"
"Sweetheart, I know that you've been asking for a dog for a long time, but we were waiting for a time when it would be right for the whole family," Mac said. "But anyway, eat up. We have to get you guys to school."
Frankie flung her spoon on the floor and crossed her arms. "I'm not going to school."
"Frankie, you love school," Mac said. "All your friends are there. Cameron, Spencer, Josslyn, Trina, and your very best friend Christina."
"No!" Frankie said. "I love Mommy and Daddy more."
"But you can't miss school," Mac said.
"Actually, Mac," Felicia cut in. "I'd like to—"
"There's a monster at school," Frankie said.
"A monster?" Felicia asked.
"Frankie, there are no monsters," Mac said.
"Mac, I'd actually like to keep Frankie home today," Felicia said.
Frankie smiled.
Maxie's mouth dropped. "Why does she get to stay home?"
"Because I haven't spent much time with Frankie." Felicia wrapped her arm around her. "I didn't spend any time with her at all at this age."
"But you have a work meeting with Lucy, remember?" Mac said.
"Work meeting with Lucy?" Felicia asked. "You mean PI work?"
He scrunched his face. "No. For Deception."
"What?" Felicia asked. "Well, I will just cancel it."
"This isn't fair," Maxie said."
"I know what'll cheer you kids up," Mac said. "Your godparents are coming for dinner."
"Oh awesome, I've missed Uncle Kevin and Aunt Lucy," Cody said. "A week is a long time."
"Yay!" Frankie grinned. "Aunt Lucy and Uncle Kevin!"
"Aunt Lucy is the best godmother ever," Georgie said.
"Kevin and Lucy are your godparents?" Felicia asked.
"Is Serena coming too?" Maxie asked.
Mac nodded and passed Felicia the newspaper. "And Christina. Aunt Lucy would never deny you time with your very best friends. And Lucy loves all of you because she's Felicia's very best friend."
Felicia raised an eyebrow at how Mac was wording it the exact way Lucy would. She glanced down at the front page of the Invader. The first headline said, 'Queen Lucy Collins, CEO of Deception, The Invader, Crimson, ELQ, Cassadine Industries, and mayor of Port Charles given key to the city after catching fugitive Anna Devane. Devane escorted back to Pentonville Prison.' Underneath was a picture of Lucy wearing a fancy red dress and a tiara, locking a disheveled Anna behind bars.
GHGHGH
Alexis made her way down the hall, wondering what she was doing back at the lake house and how it was restored. She peeked in the empty bedrooms, then found her way to the kitchen when she found a young Julian pouring orange juice for the five children sitting at the table.
"Morning, Lex." Julian kissed her.
"Hi Mommy," three-year old Leo reached out for her.
"Uhh…." Alexis gaped at them.
"Good morning, Mommy," 5-year-old Molly said.
Alexis glanced at 7-year-old Kristina, 9-year-old Lucas, and she almost fell over… she knew the 11-year-old girl was Sam. "Sam…."
"Can Maxie sleep over tonight?" Sam asked.
"I don't know, kiddo," Julian said. "She might have plans with Princess Serena."
"Why does the royal family always get first dibs on my friends?" Sam asked.
"Royal family?" Alexis asked. "Julian, what is going on? You're supposed to be dead."
Leo began to cry. "I don't want Daddy to be dead."
"I'm not dead," Julian assured.
Alexis knelt beside Sam and touched her cheek. "Sam, is that really you?"
Sam pushed her hand away. "Mooom…. I'm too old for that."
"Mommy, can we have a tea party after school?" Kristina asked. "With real chamomile?"
"Tea parties are for little kids," Sam said.
"But you love chamomile just like your mom," Julian said.
"Yeah, but I'm too old for a tea party," Sam said.
Molly lifted a thick book and began reading.
"How is Molly already reading Shakespeare at 5 years old?" Julian asked.
"She was four when she started," Alexis said.
Julian shook his head. "Molly, stick to Cinderella and Snow White."
Sam grabbed her phone and moved to the living room.
"Julian, what is going on?" Alexis asked.
"You slept in and I made breakfast," Julian said. "Sit down and have a waffle."
Alexis ignored him and moved to the living room.
"Wanna sleep over tonight?" Sam asked into her phone.
"Sorry, Sam," Maxie said. "Serena and her family are coming over tonight. Maybe next week? I gotta go. See you at school."
Sam sighed and slipped her phone away.
Alexis sat beside her. "Sam? How old are you?"
Sam laughed. "Good one, Mom. Don't forget I have a game after school. But please, don't kiss me in front of my team again."
"What game?"
"Co-ed baseball, remember?"
"I'll be there," Alexis said. "But I'm keeping you home today."
Sam raised an eyebrow. "Why?"
"To spend time with you."
GHGHGH
Nina woke up and saw an 8-year-old blonde girl standing in the doorway and instantly recognized her from her picture. "Nelle?"
"Hi Mommy," Nelle said. "Can we go to the spa today?"
"What? How is this possible?"
"I don't have to go to school," Nelle said. "I'll learn a lot more if I'm with you because you're the smartest person in the world. I want to be just like you when I grow up."
A smile spread across Nina's face and she slipped out of bed. "I don't want to wake up from this dream." She moved over to her and cupped her face in her hands. "You're so beautiful. Let's go to the spa together."
Nelle smiled. "Can we leave now? Just the two of us?"
"Yes, I'll just get dressed."
There was a ruffling sound down the hallway and the faint sound of, "Help."
"What's that?" Nina asked.
"Just my doll," Nelle said. "Daddy took Willow to school already."
"Willow? Daddy?" Nina looked over at a picture hanging on the wall of Silas, Nina, Nelle, and Willow. She followed the sounds to a bedroom with two twin beds and saw a dresser pushed in front of the closet. She pushed it aside and found a brown-haired girl inside crying. The girl hugged Nina.
"Mommy…. Nelle locked me in again."
"Tattle tale…" Nelle said.
"When's Daddy going to be home from work?" Willow asked.
"What?" Nina asked. "I don't understand what's happening… but…." She looked at each of them, then pulled him in for a hug. "This is a miracle."
